WWE is the land of the giants, but none possessed a larger spirit than The Ultimate Warrior. The face-painted powerhouse with neon gear and bicep tassels became a sports-entertainment institution in the late 1980s and early 1990s thanks to his frenetic style and seemingly immeasurable strength.
As the former WWE and Intercontinental Champion entered the WWE Hall of Fame Saturday, he thanked his “Warriors” for always supporting him. He said Monday that because of the WWE Universe, “the spirit of The Ultimate Warrior will run forever.” Warrior passed away Tuesday at age 54. He was an icon and an inspiration across generations, and he will be dearly missed. Thank you Ultimate Warrior!
I may not like your “Yes” shit, I may not like your furry boots, and your frantic kicks that could be easily avoided if they would just move slightly to either side, but dammit, you are a phenomenal dude and I respect the shit out of you.
