writing models

OKAY OKAY SO IMAGINE A TEAM VOLTRON MODEL AU !!!

- Most of them are from different companies, but they’re united by Allura, genius designer of their time who sees them and knows immediately she needs them for her shows

- Coran is the photographer and he makes them all feel super comfortable because he knows how awkward it can be sometimes (coran used to be a model too!!)

- Keith and Shiro aka Broganes are a famous duo that come from a powerhouse company; they debuted together and have modeled as a pair since then, attracting a huge following

- Hunk and Pidge also model together for a different company, and Allura loves their dynamics

- Lance is an instagram model (best friends with Hunk but didn’t get to debut with him because of personal reasons ;))))

- Originally Allura had gathered just Keith, Shiro, Hunk, and Pidge for her team but she saw a picture of lance on Hunk’s phone as he was scrolling through his feed and knew she HAD to have lance for the team; he was the missing piece

- lance being insecure around all of them because they’re all big shot models and he’s just a rookie who’s never actually done a fashion show; Shiro becoming a father figure to him because they get shit drunk one night and lance’s insecurities bubble out to Shiro, who takes it all in with a soft smile and reassuring words

- pidge and keith causing trouble around the team house, constantly pranking Lance who screeches in disbelief every time it happens

- lance and keith arguing constantly, even during interviews and in behind the scenes videos; they become famous and everyone starts shipping klance

- they reveal their relationship through a photo shoot that Allura labels “Roses are Red, Violets are Blue” and its keith and lance in varying flower themed clothes and it’s just rlly cute !!!!

- Shay is a stylist on the team and Hunk is absolutely in love with her !!! pidge constantly makes fun of him

- matt is an editor of one of the magazines most of their photo shoots show up on and he’s always teasing pidge about their photos

- allura and shiro date in secret and the entire team is scandalized when they walk in on the two making out after a show; keith looks at his nails, unbothered “I knew along. you two make fucking heart eyes at each other all the time.”

JUST !!! TEAM VOLTRON AS MODELS WITH ALLURA AS A DESIGNER AND CORAN AS A PHOTOGRAPHER AND !!!!!!

Still Life of Hands

Being an art student, one would think Ronan would be used to half-naked models by now.

Usually, he is. His figure drawing class brings in a new model every time they meet twice a week, though sometimes they bring back old models if the class is particularly inspired by them. The models are everywhere from female to male to non-binary, and Ronan had thought he’d seen it all. Of course he’s attracted to the male models if they have nice bodies, but usually it’s just a thought. He’ll look up from his notebook, appreciate their body for a second, and then start sketching their muscles, zoning out as he lets his pencil or charcoal do the rest. If Ronan thinks about them outside of his artwork besides that, it’s usually because he feels sorry for them having to sit in weird ass poses requested by the class for what must be two painfully long hours. He looks at them as a project to tackle more than anything else. He doesn’t feel flustered around any of them. He definitely doesn’t raise his hand and request a pose.

So why the hell is he doing that now?

His professor looks surprised – of course she is. Ronan has hardly even spoken in this class, let alone raised his hand. A small smile soon adorns her face however, she has always supported Ronan for whatever reason, and nods in his direction. “Yes, Ronan – go ahead.”

Ronan looks back at their new model and abruptly forgets how to speak.

He doesn’t know if all of the models before him were just shitty or what, but Ronan swears he has never seen a more beautiful human being in his entire life. He has short, dusty hair that falls across his head in what can’t be described as anything but a mess, but it’s a beautiful mess, like fucking movie star hair perfectly tousled by the wind. He has ocean blue eyes that seem to pierce right through him when he turns to look at him, and the utterly bored look on his face just makes Ronan ache more. His face is dotted with thousands of freckles, Ronan would love for an opportunity to count all of them, and his figure is tall and thin. But the part about him that completely floors Ronan is his hands – oh God his hands. They’re boyishly big, jutting out from his slender wrists and supporting large knuckles and long fingers. His hands look like he’s been working hard all of his life and Ronan can’t stop staring at them. He wants to kiss those hands – he wants to feel those hands all over his body.

He has never reacted this strongly to a model before. Ever.

No matter where he looks Ronan feels like he’s going to explode. Oh, and did he mention that the guy’s shirt is off? Ronan can’t even begin to describe what the sight of that scarred and muscled chest is doing to him.

“Ronan?” Professor Kawalski’s concerned voice somehow penetrates into his brain, and he realizes with a start that he’s been staring at the model like a love-struck fool for who knows how long instead of requesting his pose.

Cheeks dusting pink with embarrassment, Ronan looks at his notebook in an attempt to escape and clears his throat. “Uh, yeah – could you…”

And he directs the model through the motions. He has the model—Adam, his brain supplies him unhelpfully—sit with his back facing the class, leaning back on his hands. His legs are stretched out in front of him and he tilts his head over his shoulder, looking like someone has just called for his attention. Ronan wants it like that, to seem like they stumbled upon a scene of Adam’s life rather than making it obvious it’s just a figure drawing. And while he laments that he won’t be able to stare at his chest through the whole drawing—someone else will surely request that anyway—he wants, needs, Adam’s hands to be the foreground of the picture.

It wouldn’t be right otherwise.

Once Adam settles into position, his eyes lock with Ronan’s. “Is this right?”

Ronan struggles to swallow through his suddenly dry throat. “Yeah. Perfect.”

The class settles down then to get started on their sketches. Ronan finds that Adam’s shape comes to him effortlessly, little details he’d never bothered to identify on other models popping out at him every time he looks up. It’s a wonder he gets anything done at all, actually, because every time he glances up and stares for just a bit too long, Adam catches him and stares back with what looks like a smirk on his face. Ronan wants to hate him for it, but he loves it instead and he slowly loses his mind as he drowns himself in everything Adam Adam Adam.

He finds himself adding the smirk on when he gets to his face; it improves the casualness of the pose, he thinks. It looks like Adam was relaxing, and then turned to smirk at someone who just told a dirty joke. Or at least, that’s the scene Ronan is imagining in his head.

While most of the figure itself doesn’t take him too long, Ronan gets caught up in the features that he can’t stop staring at in real life, too. He spends about half an hour just getting his freckles right, dotting them all around his face and on his shoulders. He’s absolutely in love with the freckles on his shoulders. The last hour he spends entirely on Adam’s hands. He draws them with care and affection, adding in every detail he can see. Maybe it’s just an excuse to stare at Adam’s hands (it definitely is), but Ronan’s proud of how it turns out. If someone looked close enough at his drawing, they could see the freckles on Adam’s fingers, the way his large knuckles jut out and give structure to his hand and fingers, that tiny little scar he has on the back of his hand.

He’s paying more attention to detail than he ever has before. While his classmates request different poses throughout the two hours, Ronan just focuses on his original pose for Adam, using the new poses to add details to it that he couldn’t see before. As he brushes in the way Adam’s hair lazily sprawls along his forehead he wonders what it would be like to draw his fingers through it, if it’s as soft as it looks.

He wonders if he may be idolizing Adam just a bit too much.

“Alright, pencils down!” Kawalski calls, startling Ronan so badly he literally drops his pencil on the ground. Noah, the guy who has sat next to him all semester, snickers at him. Ronan flips him the bird. “Let’s all thank Adam for his patience with us today!”

Adam looks utterly embarrassed as the room is filled with light applause. Ronan wonders if he’s new at modeling or if he’s just like this every time. He wonders which one is more endearing.

As Ronan carefully tucks his notebook into his bag and shoves away all of his pencils and erasers, he wonders if it would be too strange to request Adam back again. Ronan believes he can’t be the only person who was so enthralled with him, so surely the class would back him up if he did…

“Um, hey, Ronan, was it?” a voice says from behind him. When Ronan turns, scowl already sitting habitually on his face, he nearly has a heart attack.

Adam is standing there, right in front of him, within touching distance. Ronan illogically has the urge to pull away, suddenly flustered, but then he realizes: Adam is standing there. Right in front of him. He has a ratty old Coca-Cola shirt on now, Ronan realizes sadly as he stares at Adam like he’s an apparition.

Holy fuck.

“Uh?” he says intelligently. He has no grasp of what Adam could possibly want to say to him – how does he even talk to this boy? He can’t very well tell him he’s enjoyed staring at him and imagining him in mildly erotic situations for the last two hours, though that is the truth. Ronan doesn’t lie. He just smartly doesn’t say everything that runs through his head.

“Sorry if this is weird,” Adam says, luckily filling in the conversation for where Ronan failed. “I just…I just really liked the pose you gave me, and I was wondering…if I could see it?”

For a moment, Ronan just stares at him. His immediate reaction is no holy hell Adam can’t see it! Ronan had bared his heart on that damn paper, in that damn sketch, for this damn boy. Just the thought of how Adam would react to seeing Ronan’s attraction and affection puked onto his notebook horrifies Ronan.

And yet, against every instinct and nerve screaming in his body, he pulls his notebook back out of his bag and hands it to Adam. “It’s the one in the back,” he says uselessly, not knowing what else to say. Anything else is too terrifying to bring to life.

Watching Adam flip to the correct page and just stare at his drawing is the most painful thing Ronan has ever experienced in his entire life. And he’s been through hell and back. It’s almost worse that he can’t tell what Adam think is thinking through his expression – it’s irritatingly blank, except for a spark of surprise in his eyes.

“I…I don’t know what to say,” Adam eventually murmurs, and to Ronan’s horror starts flipping through the rest of his notebook.

Shame, embarrassment, and the familiar self-hatred flares to life as one big ball of anger in Ronan’s chest, and he digs his fingernails into his palms to stop himself from lashing out. Gansey and his counselor have helped him get better about non-violent ways to unleash his anger, grief, and other intense emotions—it’s why he got into art in the first place—but having his heart exposed and crushed like this is worse than anything he’s felt recently. Dammit, this is why he had closed up to people after his dad died!

“Sorry it’s so shitty,” Ronan growls, hurt leaking like venom into his voice despite his best efforts. He reaches to grab his notebook back, but Adam quickly tucks it into his chest, like he’s protecting it. Ronan just blinks at him in surprise.

“No, no, it’s not bad, god how could this be—” Adam, seeming to realize that Ronan has no idea what the fuck he’s trying to say, pauses to take a deep breath before staring directly at Ronan and saying, “I didn’t mean to imply that. It’s just that no one’s ever drawn me so, so…beautifully before. Like, you draw me like I’m worth something, like I’m…lovable.

Ronan doesn’t know what to think – he doesn’t know how to react. On the one hand, he kind of wants to throw his fist into whatever or whoever made Adam feel like he’s worthless and unlovable. On the other hand, Adam, beautiful, freckled Adam just gave Ronan’s sketch the highest possible compliment. On the third hand—you don’t have three hands, Ronan’s brain supplies unhelpfully—Adam apparently saw right through his sketch and to the deepest part of Ronan’s soul.

Ronan’s love for Adam is tangible enough for Adam to notice, and that is the most terrifying thing he has ever heard in his life.

He feels like he needs to blow something up. Set something on fire. Instead he brings his arm up to chew on his leather bands and, pointedly not looking at Adam, says, “I’m just drawing what I see.”

It’s apparently the right thing to say, as Adam’s entire face brightens into a large smile. Ronan passionately wishes he had his notebook back, so he could draw it. “Wow, that’s um…wow. Do you…do you want to go out for coffee sometime?”

If Ronan wasn’t so surprised already, that would’ve sent him falling right off his stool. He’s so in shock that for a moment he’s convinced Adam is messing with him. Why would he have any reason to want to take some crazy artist on a date—oh God—especially one who had just drawn him like he was the most beautiful thing in the entire world? It sounds rather creepy, to Ronan. Against the aching want in his chest, he complains weakly, “You don’t even know me.”

That doesn’t seem to deter Adam in the slightest. “I’d like to.”

Ronan blushes at that, feeling warm and excited and giddy. It’s been a long time since someone has wanted to climb through his spiny walls and get to know him. He hadn’t realized it until now, but maybe he’s been waiting all this time for someone to want to. He can’t help but smile. “If I agree, can I sketch you again?”

Adam tips his head back and laughs, and Ronan wants to sketch him. Again. Jesus, he’s just found his motivation for his next one thousand art projects. Maybe more than that. He wonders if Adam will laugh for him again. If he’ll let him caress his hands.

Dear God.

“Sure, I’ll even let you pick the pose again, since it’s obviously been your goal all along,” Adam teases, grinning and leaning forward to whisper in Ronan’s ear, “I also do full nudes, if you’re interested.”

Ronan’s spine nearly snaps he sits up straight so hard, blood rushing to both poles making him abruptly dizzy. Holy fuck.

“Jesus,” he breathes, embarrassed when Adam pulls back with a snicker. Suddenly he leaps to his feet and practically throws his phone into Adam’s free hand, babbling in a flustered way he didn’t even know possessed him, “Okay listen, fuck, here’s my phone, just put your number in or something and I’ll…I’ll text you. Actually, I hate my phone, so maybe you should text me. I might not reply, but I’ll come whenever and wherever you want to meet – I literally don’t do anything. I just sit in my room and sketch. That’s it. Sometimes my friend Dick bothers me.”

Jesus. He might as well have thrown an I love you somewhere in there.

To his surprise and relief, though, Adam doesn’t seem overwhelmed – if anything, he finds the whole situation amusing, if his wry smirk is anything to go by. Ronan badly wants to kiss him. Fuck this is a mess.

He watches as Adam plugs his contact info into Ronan’s phone before handing it back to him. Then he just stares at him, an eyebrow raised. It takes a few awkward moments of getting lost in Adam’s eyes and knowing absolutely nothing about phone etiquette for Ronan to realize he’s waiting for Ronan to text him so that he’ll have his contact info, too. Feeling like a blundering idiot, Ronan texts him a simple message—guess who—before pocketing his phone again, relieved to get it out of his hands.

Adam pulls out his own phone as he gets the message, and the small smile on his face is worth every moment of suffering in Ronan’s life to get to this point. He spends a few moments editing the info before also pocketing his phone and sending that smile at Ronan. Ronan forgets how to breathe. “Great. You know, I’m actually free now – do you wanna get lunch? There’s a great pizza place not far from campus.”

Ronan would run through hell and back for this boy. Again. But he tries to regain some sense of his pride and integrity, so he leans back at his whole height and says nonchalantly, “Fine. Only if you let me drive.”

“Deal.” Adam smiles widely before flipping to another page in Ronan’s notebook and showing it to him. “But first, tell me about this raven.”

༺ in the open ✧ bella hadid

❝ and oh — did she quiver with anticipation at the excitement that may ensue. ❞

WORD COUNT: 1.7K

The wind fell short as we shuffled into the nearly vacant bus, digits curled around the dark handle of my suitcase as I haphazardly trailed behind Bella. Despite the only other occupants being a gentle elder woman nose deep in a classic piece of text and the impatient driver glaring at us ( as if somehow that would get us to move any faster ), she still found her way to the very back, her own luggage settled in the chair up front. I quickly copied her actions, finding my way right by her side; no space found as the heat of her exposed thigh pressed up against mine.

And with that, the hour and a half long trip began, droopy eyelids settling and headphones gently playing in one ear while Bella made minuscule observations of the passing landscape into the other. It was serene, really. Watching the way the sun shone against her porcelain skin and captured the very essence of her smile. She was my best friend, and she was beautiful.

It was about a third into the trip that I had felt it. The back of a smooth palm gently brushing against my kneecap, a spurt of shivers instantly following in reply. My head snapped to attention, eyebrows furrowing curiously in both question and caution; what exactly was she attempting to go for?

My gaze quickly averted to the grand rearview mirror in the very front of the bus; as if terrified the bus driver had noticed that. But what could he have noticed? A girl accidentally bumping into another in the most innocent sense? It was innocent, wasn’t it?

And that’s all I presumed it to be— innocent. So I went back into my own world, eyelids drooping in an eager attempt to find my way into sleep.

However, no more than five minutes could’ve passed before I felt that same feeling. Her skin against mine; this time, more bold. She gently pushed my legs open, her digits curiously traveling against the flesh of my inner thigh; a trail of goosebumps following in her wake. My eyes shot open, teeth sinking into my bottom lip.

“Bels, what are ya doing, darling?” I mutter, daring to meet her gaze.

“I’m… experimenting, you could call it.” She replies, so matter of fact and final yet holding that same coquettish lilt it always did. Her eyes, bright and seductive, were darker than usual, a deep shade I’d yet to discover before this moment. It could only be classified as lust.

And in that moment, our lips encountered one another, the smell of strawberry chapstick infiltrating my senses. My eyes widened in shock, and for a moment I can’t necessarily process just what’s happened. But within seconds, I melt into it, our lips molding for a second before pulling away. The bus driver doesn’t even notice.

Of course, I feel the need to mention it anyway.

“Bella, we’re on a bus.” I chastise, cheeks flushed with embarrassment as my fingers grazed over my lips. I can’t shake off the overwhelming sensation of wanting more, vying for that renewed feeling of how soft she felt against me. All the meanwhile, her fingers stay teasingly at my inner thigh, phantoms of patterns gently painted.

“That’s why it’s exciting.” She answers lowly, and I can feel a shiver run down my spine. I want to throw caution to the wind, I do, but my inhibitions are fighting me. Yet, I feel it, that heat pooling between my legs. She so easily had an effect on me with the simplest of touches. But it was the way she looked, and the tone of her voice, and g o d, her fingers on my thigh.

“We shouldn’t…” I protest, weak; halfhearted. She simply chuckles, her head dipping down to press against the exposed skin of my shoulder. I can feel her teeth sinking into it, harsh in the most pleasurable sense, her fingers growing closer to where I want them with every second that agonizingly passed.

My breath grew so shallow in such a short amount of time, and I was unsure if I was shaking out of the sheer anticipation of her touching me, or by the fact that at any second, someone could notice; whether the driver or the old lady, it didn’t matter. But I knew one thing: I was shaking because of how I didn’t care.

Because at this exact moment, I knew I could keep trying to get her to stop. To say it’s wrong, to say we’ll get caught. But I didn’t want her to. I wanted to unravel for the aspiring supermodel next to me, melt into the way her chocolate tresses framed the porcelain skin of her picturesque face as she sucked on my skin, cerulean gaze darkened with lust as they stared at me.

My breath hitched in my throat when she finally grazed her fingers against the practically sheer lace of my panties, gripping onto the back of the seat in front of me haphazardly.

“Oh.” I whispered shakily— not necessarily expecting how overwhelming that had been. The cold of her hand against the heat of my aching cunt was enough to send another gush right into my panties.

“Are you already so wet for me, baby?” She teases, pulling away from my shoulder. I can see the dark marks forming already. She soothes it with one last kiss, her fingers rubbing at my cunt through the fabric of my panties; my hips bucking into her hand desperately. I don’t know why I needed this so much. Why the thought of my best friend getting me off inside a bus made me so damn turned on.

“So wet.” I reply shakily, barely able to spit it out through the shallowness of my breaths.

“Tell me how bad you want my fingers inside you. Tell me how tight you are.”

“I want it so bad. I want to drench your fingers in my cum. You can make me feel so good. Please, p l e a s e. Please put…” I have to pause momentarily as her fingers apply a slight pressure against my throbbing clit. Close my eyes and enjoy it. But as soon as I stop talking, her fingers stop moving. So I continue.

“… put your fingers deep in my pussy, Bels. I’ll wrap around them like a good girl, ride your fingers and let you stretch me out while you watch. Whisper your name. Let my cum stain these bus seats.”

“You’re so eager, aren’t you?” And she relents. Finally. My panties pushed to the side, a single finger slipping in. It’s not enough. Not nearly. And it’s so slow. Painfully slow. I want more. So much more.

“Don’t tease.”

“Don’t be greedy.” She coos, her finger curling up and hitting my sweet spot as if I remind me she has complete control of the situation. That I never even had it for a second.

My hips rock against her hand desperately, aching for it. For her to pound into me, for the sound of her fingers pumping into my slick little cunt to fill my ears but not the bus, for that release.

“Please.” My fingers grip onto the bus seat, free hand digging nails into her shoulder; nearly breaking skin. It’s almost too much teasing. All the anticipation built up so much, I could explode right here, right now, without her doing any more than this.

“Three, please. My pussy n e e d s it.” I practically beg, my voice coming out in a low whine. Bella’s teeth sink into her bottom lip, slipping in two other fingers. It stretches me, pain and pleasure in a beautiful mix as I let out a low moan without meaning to. Bella’s hand slams over my mouth to silence me, and I see a glint in her eyes.

It’s mischievous.

Without giving me time to adjust, she begins to pound into me, and I can see my juices sliding everywhere. Down my thighs, onto her hand, the bus seat. I’m fighting to throw my head back in pleasure. To know that Bella of all people was showing my poor little cunt no mercy, curling up into my sweetest spot and ramming into it without a second thought was enough to get me off, and to have the actual feeling of that occurring added onto it left me on the verge of tears the the pleasure, every inch of my body shaking with excitement.

“Yes, yes, yes.” I whimper out, my hips jerking against her hand sloppily.

“It feels so good.”

“Oh, right there!”

“Oh, just like that Bella!”

I can’t seem to shut up. Every part of my brain is telling me to scream out as I approach my climax, as Bella pounds into my little pussy. I’m so close I can taste it. I’m so close, my chest heaving up and down rapidly in pleasure as I bounce against Bella’s fingers, my gaze never leaving hers.

Her thumb kneads my clit encouragingly, clockwise circles creating stars in my vision as it throbs with each round she makes.

“Cum for me, baby.” She purrs, so sweet and seductive simultaneously; and I do.

I let it all go, a silent scream escaping. My mouth wide open, my back arched off the seat, my nails so deep in Bella’s shoulder it draws blood. All while she continues to fuck me through it, never seeming to let loose.

My toes curl and my eyes squeeze shot, entire body shaking with the overwhelming pleasure. It feels like a lifetime.

Only once I come down from it all does she slip out of me, though my legs stay spread as she brings up her fingers to her lips, sucking it in and licking up every last inch of my cum.

“So sweet.” She moaned, popping her fingers out.

“I wonder what it would taste like directly from the source.”

༺ Hi, guys! It’s been way too long since I’ve written, but I got so much inspiration to write this, and I thought of no one better to restart my blog with than my baby Bella. I hope you all continue to support me as I start fresh, and that you enjoyed this smut. Much love, Julietta.

1,900 Years Steve. Years.

@breyito not what you asked for so I’m keeping that prompt in my ask box for now, but this is pretty fluffy.

Inspired slightly by @not-close-to-straight and her Long Distance series, (getting me back into Stuckony) Based on this prompt with Tony as Neil DeGrasse Tyson

Tony noticed the hot blonde, staring lovingly into the beefy brunette’s eyes the moment he walked in. It was cheesy as heck, but damn they were good eye candy. No one could blame him for looking, and listening in a little, he was hungry and his phone was dead it’s not like he had anything else to do.

“If I could reach up and give you a star for every time you made me smile there would be none left.” Hot Blonde said, Tony frowned.

“That is completely unrealistic.” He blurted, apparently just loud enough to be heard by the romantic couple.

“What?” Beefy brunette looks a little angry at him, but Tony is honestly too tired to care. He levels both of them with an unimpressed look.

“There are 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone, if you made him smile one hundred times every single minute it would take over 1,900 years for him to even take all the stars in our galaxy. Then there are the other 50 galaxies just in our local group, and then the nearly 200 billion in the known universe. It’s a completely erroneous statement.” Tony prattles off, doing the math in his head. The Blonde looks slightly hurt.

“That was kind of hot, I’m Bucky, but you can call me whatever you want to doll.” The brunette, Bucky holds out his hand to Tony.

“Your bad-at-math boyfriend is literally right there.” Tony points out, jerking his thumb towards the hot blonde. Bucky laughs.

“That’s Steve, he’ll probably think you’re hot too, once his pride recovers.” Bucky waves off his concern. Hot Blonde, Steve, shrugs agreeably.

“I’m Tony.”  Tony offers. A waitress appears at their table, dropping a huge burger in front of Bucky, Tony’s mouth waters. “I’ll give you one hundred dollars if you give me that burger right now.”

“Tempting.” Bucky teases, making eye contact as he takes a bite out of it. “Steve, I’ll give you- is that a salad? Never mind. Bucky, I will give you two hundred dollars if you give me the rest of that burger please. I’m starving.” Bucky takes another bite, chewing slowly.

“I appreciate the offer Doll.” He says, flashing a smile at Tony.

“Your boyfriend is mean.” Tony informs Steve. “Really mean.” Steve nods, taking a bite of his salad and holding his fork out to Tony. “You’re just cruel.”

“Aw, c’mon Doll, we don’t mean any harm.” Bucky pulls out the chair next to him. “I’ll give you a bite if you come sit with us.” He’s laying on the Brooklyn charm strong, and offering food, how could Tony possibly resist.

“Fine.” He drops into the seat, snatching the burger out of Bucky’s hands and taking the biggest bite he can manage.

“So, what do you do Tony?” Steve asks. Bucky looks a little shocked, sending Tony a can-you-believe-this-guy look.

“Well, Steve I think I’ve seen him on enough Magazine covers to know he’s a model.” Bucky teases. Tony snorts a laugh.

“I’m not surprised, pretty face like that.” Steve grins at him, and Tony tries to pretend he’s not blushing. “Should have known you’d be a model.” Bucky is trying to suppress his giggles and a waitress shows up at Tony’s table, he waves her over.

“Sorry, I moved. Thank you so much though. This looks delicious.” He beams at her, and she set’s down all three of the entrée’s he ordered in front of him. Bucky and Steve look shocked. “I haven’t eaten since, when was I kidnapped? Yesterday, yeah since yesterday morning.”

“What the hell Doll, I would have given you my whole burger immediately if you had told me that.” Bucky says, looking down at his half-eaten burger. Tony waves him off, humming around a mouthful of fries.

“I’m not a model by the way.” He informs Steve when he comes up for air. “I’m Tony Stark, owner of Stark Industries.” Steve’s eyes go wide.

“You saved my life.” He whispers. Tony looks up confused. “Your body armor did anyways.”

“Um, no problem dude. I try my best.” Tony shrugs, turning back to his burger.

“We’re keeping him.” Bucky whispers, loudly. Tony’s ears turn pink.

“I’m not a lost puppy.” He grumbles, crossing his arms over his chest. “You can’t just keep me.”

“We’re totally keeping him.” Steve agrees, reaching over to ruffle Tony’s hair.

“Ugh, fine. Only because you’re both cute.”

The photoshoot

Inspired by these beautiful and hot hot pictures ;)

Draco had no idea what had possessed him to say yes to the photoshoot. The editor of Witch Weekly had practically begged him. She had been over the moon that famous Harry Potter had agreed to a very personal photo series and the editor wanted the best photographer for this. So naturally, she had come to Draco.

“I want the Chosen One as we’ve never seen him before. I want sultry, I want sassy, I want steamy, I want sex!” she had practically screamed at him.
He had been reluctant at first. He had no desire to be anywhere near his former arch-nemesis. But this was a great opportunity.

So here they were, in Draco’s studio, Potter in his old Gryffindor uniform. It clung to his body more tightly than Draco remembered. The prat had filled out quite a bit.

Role Models

Marinette is sent to the Principal’s office.

This piece is apart of a gift exchange with the loveliest group of people! Not only did I have this beautiful piece of art gifted to me by the awesome @yunyin, but it felt like each and every piece of art and fic that came out of this exchange was a gift for us all! So a big thank you to the amazing @baneismydragon for this wonderful idea that really helped spread some much needed cheer!

And on that note! I was assigned to create something for the sweetest of the sweets, @sweet-childhood-dreams! We recently were discussing some ideas and this fanfic is based on one of Lisa’s hilarious ramblings! I hope you don’t mind me using it as a prompt Lisa! (But I just couldn’t resist! :3)

(ao3 link)

Marinette wondered how it had come to this.

There she sat, her back rigid straight, while before her the Principal continued on with her lecture.

She didn’t know what to do with her hands, and it was bothering her to no end. Placing them on the Principal’s desk seemed inappropriate. She tried crossing her arms against her chest but that seemed too rebellious and defensive. Resting them on her lap, one on top of the other, didn’t seem to work either as the sudden weight of them and the feeling of her sweaty palms made her squirm. Eventually she gave up, propping an elbow on her armrest, while her left hand swung idly by her side over the side of her chair.

Once she had finally settled, she was better able to focus on the situation at hand, listening in intently in shock and frustration as the Principal continued with their slightly judgemental speech…

Marinette could feel her body stiffening as with each remark she became more and more defensive and she tried to control her anger as the chiding continued. Her hands locked into fists—

—Until she felt a sudden nudge against her wrist. Out of view from the Principal’s eyes and under the table, a hand reached for hers. Marinette turned to her partner in crime, meeting his bright green eyes as he offered her a small smile. She relaxed, her hand unwinding as their fingers tangled. Her ring knocked against his as they held onto each other.

They found comfort at one another’s touch and while their nerves still plagued them. But as always, they were more than willing to face their next challenge as a team. He gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, to which she easily returned.

Emma had gotten into a fight.

“…So you can see why we have called you here today,” the Principal continued, to which the couple nodded. “Emma’s behaviour today was quite alarming—”

“She’s never done anything like this before!” Marinette interrupted before turning to look at Adrien who frowned, bringing his free hand up to the back of his neck. “Well…not like this at least.”

“Well, that being said, I thought it best to have the two of you join me today.” said the Principal, even in her soft reassuring voice, the underlying impression she gave was vast disappointment, bordering on condescension. Marinette’s hand tightened around Adrien’s. “It seems that the catalyst for this incident is that Emma has been telling lies at school and when confronted about it, things became physical.”

Marinette gasped. If she had taught her children anything, besides how loved they were, she had hoped it would been that truthfulness was always the better path than lying.

“I’m sorry,” Adrien asked, interrupting her thoughts. She turned to look as his brows furrowed in confusion, “But what do you mean by ‘confronted’?”

“Well,” the Principal said, “she’s been telling the other students that her parents are Ladybug and Chat Noir.”

Immediately, the pair froze, dropping their hands, before looking at one another, mouths agape.

A single beat of silence past.

“I…well—ummm…” Adrien tried his best to form a response, but like Marinette, who had slowly brought a hand up to cover her mouth, he had no way of properly forming a reply.

“You can see how preposterous this whole thing is,” the Principal went on, misinterpreting their shock, “which is why I think it’s important we have this discu—”

“WE WERE ROLEPLAYING!”

Marinette stared at her husband, hand falling back to her armrest as her cheeks burst into flame. She gazed back at the Principal who had paused mid-speech.

Trying to find a way to make Adrien’s sudden outburst in anyway appropriate, Marinette tried in vain to find her voice. “Um, well, you see…” she squeaked, hoping with all her might to dig themselves out of this awkward hole Adrien had thrown them headfirst into.

However in her flustered state, her mind was blank. “We were…” she brought a hand up to her forehead, brushing back her bangs and instinctively reaching to pull on a pigtail that was no longer there. Instead she ran a hand through her short hair, and tried once more, “We, uh…we were…”

“…roleplaying?” Adrien finished for her with a shrug and she turned to glare at him. He grimaced.

The Principal remained silent, her own mouth open in shock and Marinette brought a hand up to her face in complete mortification.

“Right…” Adrien continued, and Marinette peeked out from behind her hand to see him visibly sweating, staring at the ground, “errr, we were roleplaying… ” emphasizing the word in such a way that if Marinette thought she could pass this off as a cosplaying endeavour, she was sadly mistaken. In her head she screamed, begging for him to just stop talking.

But he didn’t.

“And we had just started—thankfully—” and he balked at the implication, “I mean! We had just gotten into our costumes! We hadn’t done anything like that yet.”

Marinette kicked him under the table. He flinched.

“W-well,” he continued, bending down to rub his shin, “we were just about to—well, I mean, we were dressed up and the children came in—”

Marinette couldn’t watch. She held her head in her hand in embarrassment as she cut him off.  There was nothing left to do now then roll with it.“—and they thought we were the real Ladybug and Chat Noir!” she said through bared teeth.

“Right!” Adrien agreed, straightening in his chair as if suddenly happy to see some reinforcement on Marinette’s part on their unbelievable tale. “…So,” he continued, “from that day…we’ve, uh, we’ve been doing it more often!”

Silence engulfed the office once more as Adrien’s face turned redder and redder, matching Marinette’s own blushing complexion.

“I MEAN!” and his voice rose in pitch, reminding Marinette of a flustered Chat Noir from their younger years—something she would have looked back on fondly if not for their current situation. “I mean the dressing up part!”

Marinette turned to him, slowly allowing for him to see the darkest glare she could muster. A glare that demanded him to stop talking. “Dressing up for the kids,” she clarified.

“Yes, yes! We dress up as the heroes for the kids!” said Adrien. And Marinette nodded, until he continued, “…not for the other thing.” Marinette immediately stopped nodding along. But even then Adrien continued, “You know the rolepl—”

“You know what!” the Principal cut him off, clasping her hands together on top of her desk, “I think we’ve covered the matter!” And she continued on, awkwardly trying to divert the conversation back to how this whole debacle was merely rooted in an odd misunderstanding. She went on with a new lecture, this one with a recommendation that the couple have a long talk with their children about the difference between playtime and reality.

Marinette tried to focus, to be the good, proper parent and look as if she were taking this whole matter very seriously. If anything, she was hoping that they could move past this whole situation and burn the last five minutes of conversation from their memories. If only she could Lucky Charm their way out of this. Instead she felt as if Adrien had done a rather effective job of Cataclysm-ing the entire meeting.

She could feel his eyes on her, and she stubbornly tried to ignore him, even as he moved his chair closer to her side. That familiar touch on her hand returned once more and while she initially flinched away from him, she quickly acquiesced, letting out a sigh.

Eventually, she peeked up at him from the corners of her eyes, feeling the blush rise back up to her cheeks—this time not of embarrassment. It was a blush that reminded her of her younger self and a younger version of the man beside her.

She watched as a corner of his mouth tweaked upwards. And she could tell he was holding back a grin as his eyes twinkled in the victory of catching her gaze. She returned his stare with a fluttering feeling in her chest and he had the gall to wink at her. The action knocked her from her swooning as she remembered herself, remembered him, and worst of all remembered what he had done. She glared at him once more, hoping to silently communicate to him that they were not done with this discussion.

He pressed his lips together to suppress his smile and whereas before such an action might’ve caused her knees to buckle and heart to flip, now it just added to the fire in her eyes and the scowl on her face.

It wasn’t until later on that that look came back to haunt Chat Noir as he leapt through the City, laughing in a mixture of delight and fear as his Lady followed him, hot on his tail.

The Topmodel AU I hadn’t realised I need

Kicking this AU Weekend (more infos here) off early because I’ll go on a trip later today and won’t be back until Saturday evening, so most of my posts will have to wait until Sunday&Monday (yes, I’m counting Easter Monday as part of the weekend, sue me). So let’s just talk about my Topmodel!AU headcanon for a sec, shall we?

Not gonna lie, I came up with this ten minutes ago, so expect lots of incoherent rambling.

Alright, so. Tony is nineteen, just finished his master degree and determined to piss his father off as much as possible–a dangerous combination that ends with him signing up for the next topmodel casting instead of starting to work for SI like Howard wants. He didn’t really expect to make it through, he’s too short to be a model, damn it, and he really doesn’t appreciate Rhodey howling with laughter. But his father’s expression when he learns of it is so worth it.

And well, Tony is good with cameras, alright? He’s confident, knows how to put on a show, and suddenly those abilities aren’t just a necessity, they’re actually really helpful. He moves into a house with the other models (though having to give up his phone and being cut off from the internet is hell, seriously, how do regular people survive this?).

He makes friends with some of the other models, a pretty redhead named Pepper who walks in heels like she was born to be on the catwalk, the sharp-tongued Maria who doesn’t appear to be interested by anything–she doesn’t even blink when they get to shoot a short clip with famous actor Steve Rogers, Tony is convinced she’s secretly a cyborg–and Clint who, by virtue of being the only boy, immediately becomes Tony’s new best friend.

The judges can be harsh in their critic, but their trainer Bruce is an absolute sweetheart. Also the first time Natasha Romanov compliments Tony on the expressiveness in his photo shot is a world-altering experience.

Sometimes being locked into a house with so many people can be a bit much though. That’s when Tony sneaks into the kitchen at two AM, just to get some time for himself. Which is how he meets Bucky. Well, he doesn’t meet him that way, Bucky is a camera man on the crew after all, and he’s always around. But sharing a sandwich in the middle of the night is a different kind of knowing, okay?

There’s also the fact that Tony may or may not have a tiny little crush on the guy–Bucky is attractive and witty and has this super secret ability of stalking them all day with a camera and not making it weird, and also his abs, really, Tony’s never had a chance. So. There may be a bit of flirting involved in their midnight meets.

Which is not a problem, Tony flirts with everyone, it’s his thing. His bisexuality isn’t a secret either, in fact the fans are shipping ‘Clony’ very insistently. And though that’s just a terrible ship name–Tony tells the interviewer as much–he and Clint do like to play it up a little, just for fun. The problem is, Bucky isn’t shy about flirting back, and as it turns out, that’s something Tony’s brilliant brain can’t handle.

What also turns into a bit of a problem is that Tony isn’t exactly subtle, no matter how hard he tries to hide his crush. There’s a lot of blushing and stuttering involved for one, and that’s just plain awkward. Tony doesn’t blush, alright, especially not when someone calls him cute. He’s not cute. He’s hot. He’s handsome. But not cute. And the way Bucky smiles and nods at him indulgently isn’t fair at all.

Then, there’s the week eight incident. The sexy shoot. Yeah. Let’s just not talk about that. [Everyone is talking about it. Clint and Pepper refuse to shut up about it. And Tony knows he did well, that his photo was the best of that week, but it’s still embarrassing because he knows he was throwing that smoldering look straight at Bucky–and who had placed him behind their photographer, damn it–and it’s just weird.]

Maria leaves them at the end of week nine and Tony resolutely refuses to cry. It’s part of the show, he’s known that from the start, and it’s not like he’ll never see her again. Which is what he very insistently tells Bucky who just as insistently convinces Tony to drink the hot comfort chocolate he’s smuggled in from Starbucks.

“I can’t do this,” Tony tells him, stares sadly into his half-empty cup. “I’m not supposed to be a model, I can’t be a model, what am I even doing here?”

“Tony,“ Bucky interrupts the beginnings of his panic attack, voice serious. “I’ve seen you out there, you love being a model. You love being on that stage, you own it. Look, take it from someone who’s been filming at this show for three seasons, you’ve got talent. You’re improving every week. And it’s true that that’s not the only thing it takes, model business is tough. Not everyone can handle that, but I don’t have any doubts that you could.”

“You think so?” Tony asks and hates how hopeful he sounds. Because this was supposed to be joke, a way to annoy his father, he wasn’t supposed to care about this.

“I do,” Bucky nods, then smirks. “You’ve got the ‘bitch please’ attitude down already too.” To which Tony sniffs derisively. Somehow the night ends with both of them laughing, and when Tony returns to his room, Clint sends him a knowing look.

“What?”

“You know what.”

“No I don’t.”

“Yes you really do.”

“Fuck you.”

“Love you too.”

“You’re in love with him, aren’t you?” Rhodey asks two minutes after his arrival. Tony is too overwhelmed by his surprise visit to even bother denying it.

“Oh, Tony,” Rhodey sighs, pulls him into a hug, and Tony melts. He’s missed this, missed it so much. Clint is a great guy, but he refuses to cuddle Tony the way Rhodey does. To be fair, nobody cuddles Tony like Rhodey does but that shouldn’t stop his friends from trying. “Now, tell me about that almost-porno-photo shooting I keep hearing so much about.”

Tony squeaks in mortification.

Clint leaves them at the end of that week, and this time Tony does cry. He’d deny it but the bastard took pictures. Actually, who are we kidding, he still denies it.

Paradoxically, with the house becoming more and more empty, Tony ends up spending more and more time with Bucky. It felt crowded and overwhelming in the beginning, but now the silence is bothering him. He’s already dreading going back to his tiny little flat or worse, his parents’ mansion.

By now Tony’s crush on Bucky is common knowledge, basically. Pepper keeps making not at all subtle comments, the rest of the filming crew constantly hang around in hopes of catching the first kiss, there are jokes and knowing smirks–and Tony is getting sick of it all.

He gets it, alright? Bucky has shown no interest in him–isn’t even allowed to have interest in him–and really the man can’t be that obvious. Clearly is kindly sparing Tony the embarrassment of being rejected in front of an audience. Tony appreciates that. And he’s trying hard not to make things awkward, but he can’t help his feelings, so if everyone else could just cut it out, he’d really appreciate it.

In the end, Tony makes it into the top five. He’s got talent, Natasha and Fury of all people assure him off that, but he’s also had a bad week and his picture just wasn’t as good as those of the other participants. So, Tony packs his bags, says goodbye to everyone, resists the urge to kiss Bucky just for the fuck of it, and flies back home. He doesn’t cry. He’s too numb.

Not until he’s in the privacy of his own home at least, where the stress, the excitement, the weight of those last few incredible weeks finally catches up with him. It seems like such a waste suddenly, such an embarrassment, and god, he’s a failure, he’s never going to leave his apartment ever again.

He does. Rhodey makes sure of it. Makes sure to remind him that this is not in fact the end of the world because Rhodey is sadly a very rational person who’s far too used to Tony’s dramatics.

“You’re not gonna give up on something you want, Tony,” Rhodey tells him one night. “It’s not your style.”

He turns out to be right.

Tony doesn’t want to work for SI, not right now at least. Because he genuinely liked modelling, and he doesn’t- he wants to give this a shot. He’s young, he’s got lots of time to argue with boring, old board members later. He starts looking for shootings instead, takes a job here and there. Looks up a couple of offers he gets because of his surprising popularity on the show too. (He honestly didn’t expect so many people to follow him on Instagram, what the hell?)

By the time the live finals roll around, Tony is excited again. Excited to see the other models one last time, excited to walk on that stage one last time, just excited. There are a lot of hugs and tears at their reunion, lots of things to catch up on.

When Tony walks down the catwalk on the night of the finals, with all the other models who’ve been part of the show, he wears a beautiful, glittering, evening gown, murderously high heels and the worlds most brilliant smile–because Tony Stark never does things half-way. (Tony Stark never passes up an opportunity to give Howard an aneurysm.)

He asks Bucky out that night. Bucky gapes at him, blurts out, “Don’t you already have a boyfriend? That Rhodey guy?”, causes everyone in their vincity to groan in annoyance and disbelief.

“Seriously?” Pepper glares–and wow, that’s a terrifying sight. “I’ve watched the two of you pining after each other for three months, if you don’t kiss and make up right now I’m gonna stab you with my heels!”

And that is the story of how Clint got to twitter a picture of Tony’s and Bucky’s first kiss, hashtagged #IdbeheartbrokenifIdidntshipit #Sorryclonyfans.

They don’t like arguments and prefer to have a quiet discussion.

Libra Mercury is friendly and broad minded, but they can stick to their principles when need be. They don’t like conflict or when people act in a crude manner. Quickly changing situations can be difficult for Mercury in Libra because they don’t adapt very fast. They prefer to study an issue and slowly come to a decision.

Mercury in Libra likes the arts and they enjoy literature. Culture is important to them. If they are not expressive in the arts themselves, they enjoy supporting others. They may not like seeing the darker side of life, and may appear to be rather shallow.

Libra Mercury is fun at parties. They are easy going, warm and charming. They may have talents as a speaker or performer of some kind. They need to learn that it is okay to disagree. Once that lesson has been understood, life becomes much easier for them. Writing comes naturally to them, and they are good at merging ideas. Overall, they work well with almost anyone.

MERCURY IN SCORPIO:

Mercury in Scorpio likes to get to the heart of things… and they are very good at it. They are talented at seeing the truth and they are fearless about going where others fear to tread. A human surveillance camera, Scorpio Mercury can see through almost subterfuge. They hate superficiality. They may come across as suspicious and negative.

Mercury in Scorpio is passionate, and this comes through when they communicate. They usually want to help others, and may even share some of the insights they have… as long as they are about other people, not themselves. Their observation skills are beyond the pale, and more often than not have seen something others have missed.

Mercury in Scorpio is all about strategy. They are smart and work by instinct. While they may think they are helping in a constructive manner, their criticism may come across as negative instead. Don’t try to win an argument with Scorpio Mercury… it is very hard to do. They have a need to win, intellectually and literally.

They are loyal to the bone, and will defend anyone they care about to their last breath. They are also good motivators. They are good at keeping secrets, especially their own. They are also good at digging out the secrets of others. They make excellent detectives, investigators or researchers. They love mystery and intrigue. Science is intriguing to them. Anything that challenges their brain will keep them occupied. Mercury in Scorpio likes to figure out what makes people tick.

They are not very tactful, and will often say what they are thinking. They can have a very sharp tongue. Stubborn and tenacious, Scorpio Mercury will hang onto a subject until they are satisfied. They have a very emotional approach that may prejudice them. This makes it difficult for them to be objective.

If they have no interest in a subject, they will do all they can to avoid it. This can be difficult in school and other times when some subjects must be addressed.

Mercury in Scorpio has a keen understanding of human nature. What may seem obvious to them may make others puzzled. This sign brings out an intensity that others can’t help but notice. It is not uncommon for people to either love Scorpio Mercury or hate them. Psychic talents may appear with this sign. They are often interested in mystical and paranormal subjects. They may be drawn to the arts, showing the darker side of human nature through their work. They can be manipulative and controlling at times, and they like to possess those around them that they care about. They feel it is a way to protect those they love. While they do not hesitate to explore the dark secrets of others, they tend to avoid it with themselves. It may be that they seek answers in others as a way to face what is deep within themselves.

MERCURY IN SAGITTARIUS:

Mercury in Sagittarius espouses freedom of thought; at least, they try. They are optimistic and look to the future. They have big ideas and mean well. Vision is their strong point. Details are not.

They have a great thirst for knowledge, but have little time for facts and dry texts. They learn best when given the freedom to think and choose for themselves. They also prefer topics they are truly interested in, and when they are having fun.

Mercury in Sagittarius defends justice and freedom, even though their personal definition of justice may be a bit confusing. They have several principles they promote, and are always happy to discuss them. Their optimism shines through no matter what. It is both their strength and their weak point. They are good at invigorating people with their sunny outlook, but they can be a little blind to the facts.

Sagittarius Mercury is also not too well organized. Piling or trashing is their preferred method to deal with clutter. They like the illusion of space if they can’t get the real thing.

Their enthusiasm is admirable, and they love a good debate. Sagittarius Mercury imagines themselves as very open minded. While this may be true to a certain degree, they can also be very judgmental. They can quickly pick out prejudices in others, but are rather blind to their own. They are good at bending your ear, but not so good at listening or picking up subtle signals.

Mercury in Sagittarius is blunt and to the point. When someone is hemming and hawing, they get impatient. They don’t understand it. They despise mind games. They do love to laugh and have fun. They are independent and adaptable. They love being social and will talk with anyone who will listen. It may be difficult for them to focus on any single subject for very long. They prefer theories to concrete evidence.

Mercury in Sagittarius enjoys philosophy, religion, foreign cultures and psychology. They may study any of these their entire lives, trying to grasp a deep understanding. They are restless, intellectual and crave intellectual stimulation. They make good teachers; they like sports and they love to travel.

The downside of Mercury in Sagittarius may be laced with sarcasm, bragging and rudeness. On the other hand, they really want to see the big picture, and will do what they can to get all the pieces. They describe things broadly, leaving out the small details. They have an artistic side that puts vitality in the everyday. They are also good politicians, activists and adventurers.

MERCURY IN CAPRICORN:

Mercury in Capricorn tries to understand the world by putting everything into its own little compartment. They may be slow and methodical, and they appreciate structure and organization in their life. They are resourceful, but they can easily get overwhelmed if too much information comes at them at once. They need to break the information down into manageable pieces before it is useful.

They are very productive and active mentally, and prefer tasks that end with a tangible result. They can be quite authoritative, and don’t like surprises. Mercury in Capricorn does not like people who don’t keep promises. They can appear rather judgmental and strict, and they are short on patience with those who don’t understand things that seem obvious to them.

They are not frivolous, and they don’t like frivolity in others. They are practical in all aspects. They are often skeptical when confronted with something new. They may appear more conservative than they really are. They don’t like to waste time or anything else. Planning, however, is important to them. They will take as much time as needed to make sure the plan is foolproof.

Words are chosen carefully by Capricorn Mercury. They don’t want to appear foolish, so they may be a bit stiff. Those that appear very natural when making a presentation have probably worried themselves sick over how they would appear.

They are clear thinkers, and may appear rather rigid or narrow minded. They are cautious before committing to anything. They very seldom have anything to regret. While they don’t learn too quickly, they retain the knowledge for a long time. They often feel a need to prove themselves.

Capricorn Mercury may appear moody or sulky, and it may take some effort to show enthusiasm. They have a great capacity for concentration and earnestness that makes them appear very serious. They are reliable and responsible, and in bad situations may end up depressed or pessimistic.

Mercury in Capricorn is definitely someone that you can trust to live their beliefs. They often become experts in their field because they are dedicated to learn all they can about their chosen topic. They favor self control, and may have difficulty mingling with others.

Mercury in Capricorn finds history and traditions fascinating. They have a way of melding the old and new into something practical and useful. They really want to leave their mark on the world and stand the test of time. They make good administrators, engineers and excel at anything that is practical and detail oriented.

MERCURY IN AQUARIUS:

Mercury in Aquarius likes to break the rules when expressing themselves. While not really flamboyant, they do have a knack for stirring things up. They take great delight in exposing the biases of others. They are the first to contradict someone and give their own, very different perspective. They love intellectual debates. Quick and alert, they are very observant.

They are often detached and seem to have their own agenda. They can be intimidating to others because of their innate superiority complex. At the same time, Aquarius Mercury can be absolutely delightful to be around. They are interesting, quirky and insightful.

When it comes to learning, they have unusual study habits. They don’t like schedules, but can be surprisingly organized, although their system may make no sense to anyone else. They like science and metaphysics, as well as anything that deals with mankind’s progress or advancement. They have a well developed sense of humor and love practical jokes.

Mercury in Aquarius is often labeled eccentric. They love controversy and chaos, and have little respect for tradition. They are intuitive and can judge a person’s character very accurately. They are fair minded and believe in equality and fair play. They are humanitarians and love to help those who are less fortunate than themselves. They are often involved in social reform.

Mercury in Aquarius is witty and open minded at times, but they can also be very stubborn. They often make good speakers or writers. They are often very original and their ideas may be ahead of their time. Ideas often just appear to them out of thin air. They are more loyal to concepts than they are to people. They may play the devil’s advocate just to have a debate.

They can see the big picture, and will lay out the facts as needed. They prefer to explore the more outlandish and far reaching ideas. Science fiction isn’t much of a leap for Mercury in Aquarius. Resourceful, they can use their powers for good or to drive others to distraction. They are usually well disciplined when it comes to intellectual pursuits. They are versatile, practical and somewhat revolutionary.

MERCURY IN PISCES:

Gentle in their communications, Mercury in Pisces has a pleasing, soft touch. They are almost poetic. They are not detail oriented… instead they are caught up with feelings, emotions and moods around them. They can get a very clear picture from their surroundings.

Mercury in Pisces is a great listener and makes a great conversationalist. They can be moody and this can extend into their writing as well. They are unpredictable and it is difficult to determine what their mood will be at any given time. They may tell you what they think you want to hear. They do this to make you as comfortable as possible.

Indirect and dreamy, Pisces Mercury can be hard to pin down. They take in so much information that they can’t remain with a single opinion for long. They don’t like cold hard facts or making hard decisions. They prefer to follow their intuition, which gives them some pretty accurate insights. They may appear disorganized to others. They don’t like details, and they may tend to drift mentally.

Mercury in Pisces picks up every subtle sign in their environment. While often indirect in their communications, they can improve if they work at it. They are often artistically inclined, and may have talents in the theatre, music or films. They may be psychic or have other talents in the paranormal range. Spirituality, meditation and prayer are things that come naturally to Mercury in Pisces.

They are rather naïve, and they are trusting. This can result in them being taken advantage of or being misled. They can be very vulnerable. Their natural idealism doesn’t let them become pessimistic. They are often very shy, and may lack self confidence. They may get lost in fantasy. When they can express themselves creatively, they gain in confidence and are able to find themselves.

Mercury in Pisces is compassionate and visionary. They can also be lazy, oversensitive and impractical. When they get overwhelmed, it is important that they have a safe place to retreat to so they can regroup and calm down. They are very imaginative, and it may be difficult for them to translate their thoughts into concrete ideas. They believe that anything is possible, and their open mindedness makes it hard for them to make a decision at times.

EXY’S NEXT TOP MODEL AU

italicized headcanons are provided by the amazing @rreneewalker

neil josten is a homeless teen who is pursuing a career in modeling

he gets signed with palmetto inc. because of his background.  (palmetto is known for recruiting troubled models and are in need of getting their life back on track, and furthering their modeling careers. they’re seen as a disgrace to the modeling world, and thus are shunned.) he is a NaTuRaL and absolutely KILLS the modeling game by normalizing modeling with scars

their arch-rival modeling agency is the edgar allen elite, and riko moriyama is the extremely bitchy, yet extremely talented model that gets alllllll the attention and praise of fashion designers, even though his off-camera personality is as tolerable as olive garden attempting to pass off their cuisine as palatable and italian

andrew minyard is a model that PI signed when they saw him off the street (holy shit this kid is gorgeous), and he was like “sure, fuck it. it pays more than my current job”, and even though he has drug problems their manager david wymack gets him help so he can be weaned off of them

he also signs on andrew’s twin brother aaron and the twins have a blast messing with wymack by confusing him in a fred-and-george-esque way (“aaron! move your damn head, you look like an owl with a broken neck.” “this is andrew.” “wait wh— YOU MEAN WE’VE BEEN SHOOTING WITH THE WRONG TWIN. DAMMIT—” “chill, wymack, i’m just fucking with you. it’s aaron.” “—i’m gonna fucking murder you after this shoot is over.”)

palmetto managed to nab kevin day, former edgar allan model, but he had to quit after an accident that left him scarred (a nono on the EA contract, so he’s let go), and wymack brings him in, but kevin is too unfamiliar with modeling alone, since he had a joint contract with riko, whom he did all his shoots with, but until neil shows up, his photoshoots with anyone else in palmetto is sadly stilted and lacks any chemistry

and then neil comes along and manages to piss kevin off somehow, so their first shoot together included muttered threats through clenched teeth and glaring at each other, but that somehow translates to an extremely intriguing photoshoot that had photographers around the globe admiring their supposed chemistry and energy

the modeling team has veteran danielle wilds as their mentor and fellow model, who is romantically involved with the photographer, matt boyd, of the agency

nicky hemmick, one of the older models, loves to flirt with matt while he shoots, much to dan’s amusement and matt’s chagrin (“nicky, i need you to stop looking like you’re eyefucking the camera” “it’s not the camera that eye want to f—” “OH FOR GOD’S SAKE”)

renee walker and allison reynolds are a two-for-one deal, and they are glued to the hip, so wymack had to sign both of them. they’re formidable models, and their different personalities surprisingly complement each other, on- and off-camera.

all the modeling agencies meet once a year at model expo, where they model for up-and-coming designers at the catwalk on every night of the expo, attend workshops, and scope out the competition,

and of course they run into the edgar allan elite, who always walk in v-formation (seriously, what the fuck is up with that) and pose once they stop walking like a bunch of c-list hollywood tweens; the last part nicky purposely inadvertently said out loud

andrew would be the KING of snarky, totally cheesy, off the chain quips in answer to riko’s shitty remarks

“oh look, it’s the palghetto mannequins.”

“hey riko! y’all, it’s edgar allan poe with his edgar allan hoes.”

every year 20 agencies are chosen to participate in ENTM, which is a modeling competition sponsored by EXY, Extraordinary Youth, an organization looking for top models to recruit for top-end designers

the models are sponsored by designers: edgar allan would get the best sponsors, since they’ve won the past 12 cycles and designers are always thirsty for their work to be worn by the EA to get recognition, while palmetto had to barely scrape by with clothes they salvage from donations, and the clothes they make with the team’s tailor, abby

it’s the 20th cycle, and the 20th anniversary, of ENTM; in honor of the anniversary, the grand prize is $200,000 instead of the normal $100,000, so it’s a pretty big fucking deal

with neil filling in the spot in the required 10-man team, they can audition for ENTM and come back for the 20th cycle

so with neil as a rookie model, palmetto has a bit of a disadvantage which is made up for with his natural talent, and the media goes crazy in covering the continuing rivalry between palmetto and edgar allan during the whole 20th season of ENTM

A/N: This is a re-write of  Dean fic series I never finished. Here’s hoping that I will have motivation to finish this storyline with Buckaroo. Hope you all enjoy! Also, I don’t claim to know how the photography/fashion world works, I’m just… Sorry if there are mistakes.

“Alright, children, enough chattering!” A large woman with bushy blonde hair and overdone makeup stared down at her sixth-grade Earth and Space science class. She was frowning and it was only the first day of classes. She was already feeling the headache that was sure to make itself known by the end of the week. “Settle down!” she bellowed.

At her shrill voice, silence overcame the room and everyone found empty seats to call their own. She gave them all a wide, forced smile in gratitude. “Welcome to Earth and Space Science! I am Mrs. Paulson and I will not tolerate any unruly conduct in my class. You will be wise to be on your best behavior while you’re in my class. If you aren’t, a detention slip with your name on it will be waiting for you by the end of class. Do I make myself clear?”

A drone of agreements reached her ears and she gave a grin of satisfaction. Some kids thought her wolf-like. She clapped her hands once before picking up a stack of papers, licking her forefinger to separate the sheets. Oblivious to the grimaces of her students as she handed them their syllabus, her voice thundered through the room. “Learn it, live it, love it. I will always abide by the schedule you find there and everything that will be required of you is written on that very sheet. Is that understood? There are no excuses!”
