Kingsman prompt in which…

…Eggsy realizes that after the Kingsman quarters get bombed and Roxy killed, he felt more for her than he first thought he would be. Therefore, he decides to dump Tilde and travels the world as a self–improving trip.

In the US, Eggsy stumbles upon Statesman and Harry Hart, deciding to bring Merlin on their trip to South America. There they find Poppy‘s Land and Roxy being held prisoner at Poppy‘s, fully resurrected and just as confused as Harry was at the beginning.

Each one of us has gotta do our work in healing ourselves, in stopping the cycle of being broken and breaking others. We can blame the people who broke us, and they can blame the people who broke them, and so on, ad infinitum, but at some point it has to stop. Someone has to chose to break the chain. It’s the only way our world will improve.

Negativity, bitterness, resentment, hostility, these are all contagious, all easily spread. We all have to work on curing ourselves. The only other option is perpetually passing this pain onto one another. A rolling epidemic of suffering.

If healing is gonna happen, it’s gotta be on an individual level. This world is made of people, not abstract concepts, not political policies, but living, breathing people. Human beings. Individuals. We are what makes this world what it is. So we can’t sit and wait for the world to fix itself. That makes no sense. We are the world. Each one of us has to play our part in our collective healing. It’s the only way.

You deserve to light up the world with your light.

Yes, you. The one who sits here, reading this sentence. The one who secretly believes that they are not good enough, capable enough, or worthy enough of achieving great things. The one who wakes up in the morning, unsure of how they could possibly make a noticeable difference in this world.

But you can.

Why? Because you have a light, and that light is meant to burn bright. That light within you is so powerful, so beautiful, and so dazzling to all that see it.

You do make a difference in this world.

You do.

There’s all these stories of famous mathematicians, physicists, and other scientists, who were poor but by chance got lucky and found, and vastly improved the world of science and mathematics, because they got lucky.

This doesn’t mean that other poor people didn’t just rise up for the community because they weren’t smart enough. No. Capitalist has hindered our scientific and mathematical advancements, everyone poor who vastly contributed to our world all acknowledge how lucky they got, and so many are not afforded this luck.

There are just as many people passionated, dedicated, and clever enough to make further advancements in our society who will never be given the chance to add to our society. That’s what capitalism has done to us. It has made education a thing for the rich and lucky, not for all. If education was for all and failure wasn’t penalized we would move so much further as a society.

Potential By Polarity

In the context of astrology, the term “Masculine” refers to a sign whose energy is naturally projected outwards. “Feminine” means a sign’s energy is naturally tuned to receiving and turned inwards.

“Masculine” (+) signs express their energy positively when projecting it outwards, onto the world and other people. “Feminine” (-) signs express their energy positively when turning their focus inward.

Aries (+) : you are at your best when leading/initiating projects with others instead of just going off and doing things on your own

Taurus (-) : you are at your best when you work on being self-possessed, instead of trying to possess things and people outside of yourself

Gemini (+) : you are at your best when you communicate clearly and directly with others, instead of hoarding/manipulating information for yourself to meet your own ends

Cancer (-) : you are at your best when you nurture your own insecurities and take care of your own emotional needs, instead of expecting others to nurture you or taking care of others’ needs in hopes of creating dependency

Leo (+) : you are at your best when you shine the spotlight on other talented people and make everyone around you feel special, instead of trying to get attention and recognition for yourself (note- if you make someone feel special, you automatically become special/beautiful in their eyes; you get love by being generous with your own love, so this is a good way to go about it, and leos are all about getting love; just be genuine)

Virgo (-) : you are at your best when you are self-critical and strive to improve your own perceived flaws, instead of pointing out others’ shortcomings

Libra (+) : you are at your best when you bring/match other people together, instead of trying to attract them to yourself to meet your need for attention, admiration, and partnership

Scorpio (-) : you are at your best when you practice self-control and deal with conflict quietly, instead of trying to control others and bringing hidden issues out into the open (it’s best to let people figure out and resolve their problems on their own, as hard as that might be to watch)

Sagittarius (+) : you are at your best when you escape and find freedom in the external world, with other people, instead of by withdrawing into yourself or using drugs/alcohol/addiction as a means of escape

Capricorn (-) : you are at your best when you isolate yourself to get work done and depend on yourself, instead of trying to isolate others and getting them to depend on you to assuage your fear of abandonment (each sign carries traits of the preceding sign; sags actually have the mother of all abandonment issues, and it is passed on to capricorns; the difference is in how these two signs deal with it- sags avoid dependence of any kind, while caps try to force it from others)

Aquarius (+) : you are at your best when you use your image/status to help others and improve the world at large, instead of using external things/people to improve your own reputation

Pisces (-) : you are at your best when you keep your internal fantasies separate from external reality, instead of projecting them onto other people/the world at large, creating delusions

For two years I worked as an island clearer.  You know those small, fancy, artificial islands off the coast of the Dubai?  Well, every once in a while someone rich would order a customized island in the shape of their choosing.  Maybe it’s a rose for their wife or a face or a turtle.  So the other guys go in with their sand, make the island to the shape required, and then the client is called and told that their custom island is completed.  But sometimes the client says they don’t want the island any more.  That’s where I came in.  Our company was never mad - I mean, in this high-profile island generating industry, you have to be customer-centric.  Just because someone doesn’t want a custom island now doesn’t mean they don’t want one later.

Anyway, my job was to go in with this ship that basically looked like it was half-bulldozer half-barge and clear all the sand off the top until it sunk back beneath the waves and disappeared forever.  I was the only person in the company who knew how to do this job correctly, and I presume the only person in the world as well.  Sure, the island builders could make the island, but they were absolutely pathetic at clearing them. So I guess you could say I had job security.  Anyway, that wasn’t important.  What was important was that I had fun doing it and helped improve the world. Follow your passions!  You never know what great treasures life has in store for you.

I’d love to see a Classic Fantasy Thing where the stereotypical personalities are mixed up.

The halfling thief is stoic and serious.  The barbarian is bubbly and cheerful.

The lady magician likes ale and headbutting things.  The dwarf sings gentle lullabyes and walks softly.

The thinly-veiled-fantasyworld-version-of-a-Native-American has a wicked sense of humor.  Constantly plays pranks on the rest.

The Normal Farmboy Of Destiny plans to join up with the villain at the first chance he gets; world domination sounds excellent.

The villain treats his underlings with respect and compassion.  His hot daughter gets both medals of honor and surprise birthday parties, and she wouldn’t dream of siding with his enemies no matter how nice and/or handsome their leader is.  She and Dad want to take over the world so they can improve it.

Unicorns stab people.  A lot.

  • drone makers: hey yall ... we could use these bad boys to save lives
  • drone makers: drones could revolutionize the way we distribute goods, food deserts could be no more
  • drone makers: we could make leaps and bounds on environmental research
  • drone makers: theres just so much we can do with them to improve the world for all
  • The United States Government: okay, or we could only give research grants to the drones that do the opposite of all that
  • The United States Government: how about we instead use them to kill shitloads of people and cut funding to all that helpful nonsense

everyone keeps mentioning wonder woman crossovers with thor and cap but have you considered diana and t’challa meeting at a UN convention with diana admiring and respecting t’challa for being such a kind and caring king who loves his people and will protect them no matter what (because that’s a leader ww1 douchebag), and t’challa respecting her both for her strength and will to do what’s right (and of course because he knows about the no man’s land thing)

they get along so well seeing as both come from secluded kingdoms where everyone in their society is cared for and respected (both tend to complain about the rest of the white male dominated world) then he introduces her to a fellow princess and she swoons

and diana won’t stop gushing about her to bruce, “bruce she’s so amazing, she’s infinitely smarter than you” and shuri proceeds to convince t’challa to let her go with diana to themyscira, because “t’challa it’s an island full of women

and t’challa enjoys how diana can’t get enough of listening to shuri speaking so passionately about her scientific developments and methods for improving the world itself, and he adores how in love and happy shuri looks (especially when diana picks her up ever so gently and flies her just about anywhere because shuri enjoys it so much)

long story short diana the princess of themyscira begins courting shuri the princess of wakanda and this hc got a lot gayer than i initially planned

As exciting as life can get, and how amazing it feels to get things done, its important to stop and notice the beauty that’s around you every now again. Stop and listen to the chirping of the birds. Feel the breeze against your face. Take moments every now and again.

You’re a rich, kindhearted, well meaning philanthropist with grand plans that will genuinely improve the world. However, you have all the mannerisms of a super villain. The costume, the monologues, the henchmen, the lair, etc.

There will be bumps and breaks in your life.

There will be challenges and obstacles.

There will moments when you feel like you cannot possibly take on any more.

These are the moments when you must be there for yourself.
Truly and undoubtedly.
Have faith, stay strong, and continuously remind yourself that, although the world seems to be upside down;

It won’t be like this forever.

You are good enough for your gods.

This is your gentle reminder that the work you do for the gods, goddesses, spirits, and fair folk is good enough and valuable.

The offerings you make are gifts appreciated.

The prayers you give voice to are heard and loved.

The spare change you donate at a park or sacred space adds up.

The trash you grab out of the river or gutter in a rainstorm for later recycling improves the world.

When you give of yourself, small things matter. When you gift unto others, no one cares what it cost, only that you cared enough to give.

Let the cosmos be brightened by your work, as you already know it is.
