Busy. You are always so busy. But the Olympic Games are around the corner and you only have something in your mind, practice, practice, practice until your feet fall off. You came in second on the last figure skating World Championship and you are dying to fight for that gold medal. So when your manager told you that you have to spend a whole day recording an ad for a charity event you were far from happy.

There’s a forest at the end of the road where most people don’t dare to venture. Chess pieces are scattered over the ground from some long lost game and the heaviness of magic hangs in the air. “Follow the yellow brick road. Fall down the rabbit hole. Follow the second star,” the voices chant and maybe you do. Of course you do. Because who doesn’t want a magical escape? I know I do. So come on and take a leap of faith. Run away from this world.

anyone else feel different kinds of sad for every season?

in spring, it’s a light sadness that makes your eyelids droopy and makes it hard to get out of bed some days and you just wanna sleep all the time.

in summer, depression takes its toll and holds you down and you feel so broken and blind and you cry a few times every day and you hate it.

in autumn, you’re not blind anymore and you can see how evil the world is and you try so hard to cleanse the world of the dirt but just end up putting all the dirt on yourself and you’re just. so. dirty.

in winter, everything is dead and it makes you feel sad. the trees don’t have leaves and the flowers wilted away and you miss them and the paleness of everything makes you nostalgic, in a way.

and then spring comes again and the cycle is ongoing.

I’ve written my first book in English, which will soon be published in, once I finish editing it.

This beautiful cover was created by the wonderful @thefatedmeeting

Following synopsis:

The lawyer César and the professor Deodorina were a happy couple in the beginning of their marriage.  But suddenly their world ended when bolts of light destroyed their city.  Overwhelmed by their loss and their inexplicable survival, they come to discover that they’re no longer the people they used to be. Perhaps, they weren’t human at all!

They could bring things into existence, but not retrieve what had been lost. Incapable of getting physically hurt, their hearts could still be easily broken. Not able to sleep, they could see glimpses of the future whenever their eyes were closed. However, their eyes couldn’t shed tears over what was to come.

Infinity was displayed before them, with a dreadful destiny in the horizon.

As the couple tries to work things out, a son comes into their lives. Young Diego ages, although slowly, sleeps sparsely and cries when hurt. Unlike his parents, his mortality seemed inevitable. Who would that child grow to become when his whole world consisted of other two people? How well would his parents raise him while striving to keep their humanity?

After centuries of the family attempting to make sense of things, a stranger arrives to disrupt their world.

Not feeling very good today- I feel kinda weak and defeated tbh.

But that’s the point. This workplace never made me feel any different from that. I have felt worse because of it, but it never made me feel really good.

I know something good is going to come out of this. Either a new job or a few months where it’s just about me. Or new interests. I haven’t had time for myself in 6.5 years. Have to get to know myself again.

It’s annoying that I can’t really tell anyone until I have the official talk on friday and I’ll be at work pretty much every day.

This is not the end of the world.

This is a new start.

have you heard about the new movie coming out called 'Downsizing'? It's in December 22nd I think and it's about someone who creates a way to shrink people down to 1;14th their size and they all live in tiny houses. It looks great.

Yep! I kinda… have ranted about it before bc it looks hella cool but also gives me a lot of anxiety for what could happen in the movie bc the commercials have been vague imo,, If all it is is exploring the “smol people = more food = end world hunger” or w/e trope they’re going for, COOL, but… idk i dont see how they can make an entire movie around that without some kinda conflict of “wait this is dangerous” without it turning into a fetish or something uncomfortable happening lol but idk  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i HOPE they stay PG and sfw tho :,0 I’ll be excited once it comes out and some other gt people can go see it and give it a thumbs up lol

Noble Lady Nimue [[the one from Sonic and the Black Knight]], now that Sir Sonic has officially become the true King Arthur, how would he and the Round Table Knights make sure to keep Camelot safe from any new threats and defend the Kingdom? [[If I'd actually address to Nimue, I'd do it with "Milady", "Your Ladyship" and similar, Mayra, the way Italians say "Mia Signora", "Vostra Signoria" and stuff :3 Also, please don't kill me for this, Amy... '^^']]

“With our true king returned to his own world… we shall not fear the inevitable end that will come to our kingdom… but we shall have the courage to keep living and thriving as much as possible. For happiness is within our reach, we know this. We will not give up our hope.”

“Thank you for your good wishes. I’m sure the Knights and I will keep the peace through the noblest code of all- Their Knights vows, and my power of The Lake. Thank you, once more. I’m sure Camelot will thrive all through it’s waning years…”

The end is here

Today is the day guys, my the odds be ever in our favor.

I love all of the teen wolf family forever and always. 💞🐺 I will miss this for years to come. It’s been a wild and emotional ride but I wouldn’t take any of it back for the world. This has changed my life for the better and I’m so blessed and thankful for it.

The tags on her first post today!!! Ohtori being at a fantasy location, essentially a snow globe, the outside world not existing to those inside!! All in the taaggss!! She's killing me Rose!

@thepreciousthing (idk why I can’t tag you??) said: "anthy could come out in a white suit and stab utena in the gut" laughing and crying @ doc tbh

I think that if by the end of this liveblog Doc’s only going to find one thing about the series enjoyable or good, it’ll be the number of times she was RIGHT ALL ALONG but in a way that’s derived from what she wants the series to be versus what she expects it will be. She’s definitely recognized that the show is about bucking traditional genre expectations, but I don’t know that she’s yet feeling like it’ll go as far as she wants it to. We know that it does, though, so I think we just get to enjoy watching her get closer and closer to these realizations!

Why poetry? I mean you have enough material for a novel or screenplay. What draws you into the beautiful world of poetry instead?

It’s what comes naturally to me. It’s easy, if I’m being honest. I always wanted to be a novelist but I have trouble finishing longer works. I start a novel and get a new idea and start another one and end up with a drawer of unfinished books. I’m working on it though. I have a lot of stories to tell.

so Sushie/Susie is number 1? lol

why do MC males who have a harem always panic when it comes to picking a girl he thought dressed the best and always somehow pick the loli…well the loliest of the harem and end up making the rest of his harem question his taste in girls lol

current mood: emotional about a space probe

Cassini is the first spacecraft that was destroyed not from malfunction, or as a necessary end result of its mission… but out of love.

The probe was running out of propulsion fuel, but there’s no reason it couldn’t have been pushed into a stable orbit from where it could collect data and send back pictures for a long while yet.

Except it had detected that one of Saturn’s moons held liquid water and organic compounds: a world that might support life. A world that is, at the least, dreaming of life.

There is no orbit stable enough to be certain that the probe, carrying radioactive batteries and Earth’s bacteria, would never have come into contact with Enceladus. A delicate island of alien life could have been snuffed out or overrun. The sheep could have eaten the rose.

So instead - for the love of this fragile possibility, this potential that might yet never be realized - Cassini was brought into a final, intimate tango with Saturn.

But of course, all space probes are built for the sake of awe, which is nearly love. Science is rational, but scientists are driven to understand the universe just as the religious strive to know the face of God.

The Cassini probe was a 4 billion dollar machine for understanding Saturn. And yesterday, two decades after it launched from our planet, it was destroyed while sending us information about Saturn it never could have gathered from a distant, stable orbit: advancing its purpose, even knowing that it would be consumed.

Hemsworth, Evans, Pratt, and Pine, how many Chris’s get to survive?

When Chris Pine hosted Saturday Night Live last May, he started his monologue by trying to clear up any lingering audience confusion about, well, who he is. It didn’t help my mom any - but then, she could play a game of Memory in which all the cards were Reese Witherspoon and still not make any matches.

As Pine’s lesson demonstrated, differentiating between the Chris’s can get tough very fast. Not only are they all leads in popular big-budget sci-fi/superhero franchises, they’re also all tall, blonde-adjacent strongmen of the sort that probably featured in the scary stories of Ancient Roman kids for centuries (”…and then she realized that the Gallic war cry was coming from inside the house!”).

Pine played Steve Trevor, a hero of World War I, while Evans played Steve Rogers, a hero of World War II. Hemsworth played Captain Kirk the elder, and Pine played Captain Kirk the younger, in the same movie.

It gets even more complicated when you look at their character arcs. If your name is Chris and you’re starring in a recent blockbuster epic, you’ve got a pretty good chance (let’s say a “Sean Bean chance”) of ending up alone in a cockpit making peace with your choices as you barrel toward a certain (or mostly certain) end.

Because that’s what these characters tend to do: They make self-sacrifices.  Grand, tragic, gazing-longingly, sighing, self-sacrifices.

There’s a lot of great analysis to be done on the construction and historical parallels of the visual and narrative replication of this particular character, but for now, here’s a meme:

He’s come a long way. :D (The last time Sakuya tried watching the kiddos….lol)

welp took me awhile…. been working on this one whenever I could cause it’s one of the age au comics that’s necessary for the “plot” to continue. One more comic closer to the Kuro and Mahiru confession. EHEHEHEHEEH I can’t wait too.

Tiny Lily and Sakuya’s friendship comes in handy later I promise. (it’s a part of what helps Kuro and Sakuya get along a little better. Cause trust me they don’t really from what we have seen so far.) Meeting the kiddos a second time he’s figured out how to calm down each one of them, plus they are now used to “Mamahiru’s” weird green friend. ^^ hahaha “Sakkun”….childhood friends like to tease each other. But to be fair Sakuya said “Mahi Mahi” first.

Stayed tuned for the next one~ ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Also some hints for certain characters we’ll see more of in future comics. wink wonk.
