U-20: 24 Goals 35 Caps

In her stint as a principal forward for the U-20 and U-23 USWNTs from 2006-2009, KO scored more goals than Alex, A-Rod and Press combined, and is tied with Syd (24 goals in 39 caps).

Jersey numbers 10, 19, 17 & 21. Pics from 2007 U-20 World Cup, Concacaf Cup, 2008 Pan-American Games qualifiers etc…

Technically not a statistical tie with Syd if you include the formula. Hate to quibble cuz I love Syd way too much, but if you add Syd’s caps for CANWNT, she has 24 goals in 41 caps as a U-20 to KO’s 24 goals in 35 caps. Add that to KO’s parallel achievements at the Stanford Cardinal, where she led the team in scoring in 3 out of her 4 years there, and led the the nation in goals (26) and points (65) as a senior in 2009. As a pure offensive starter, the case for her being the dominant collegiate and USWNT youth-development player of the late ‘aughts, is pretty good. And all without a NCAA D1—nor a U-20 championship—especially when you consider that UNC won three titles in the same period. As Bruins, Syd and Lauren Cheney come the closest…and if they played Press more as a U-20/23.

1. Yours is the Earth (Hold On, Hold On) by @chickenlivesinpumpkin [E, 127.1k]

When they first meet after the end of the war, Draco doesn’t want anything to do with Harry. But as time goes by, Draco’s growing love may be the only thing that can save them both, because after a serious accident in the Forbidden Forest, Draco’s personality begins to undergo subtle changes. At first, Harry credits this to a new enthusiasm for life. But as the days pass and Draco’s behavior becomes more and more mysterious, Harry begins to suspect that something bigger–and darker–is at work.

2. Dragon Kissed by Zakaira [E, 100.8k]

Draco Malfoy, after losing most of his family, has retreated to a cave in the middle of a dragon reserve, in the hopes of receiving the kiss of the dragon spirits. He succeeds, but when a terrorist organization takes over the reserve putting his life in danger, Harry Potter comes to his rescue. Only Draco doesn’t want to go and is clearly hiding something. Matters are complicated when Draco is kissed a second time. Can Harry discover what is really going on with Draco and the dragon spiritualism that everyone in the reserve seems to believe in?

3. Choices of the Heart by Naadi [T, 78.6k]

Immediately after defeating Voldemort, Harry begins to have strange dreams, dreams that pull him once more into the realm of the newly dead. At first, the dreams are only a curious mystery, and Harry sets about putting his life back in order after the war. But when Harry dreams of Narcissa Malfoy, his life suddenly goes in a much different direction than the one he’d always imagined.

4. The Art of Our Necessities by dcfg21 [E, 52.6k]

After being Turned by a vampire, Harry descends into reckless and dangerous behavior. The Ministry and the Vampire Council devise a way to keep the former Savior on a leash, and his fangs to himself, by forcing him to take a Consort.

5. The Auror Method by Lomonaaeren [M, 43k]

Draco has constructed the perfect cover for his activities as a con-man specializing in thefts from a distance: Draco Malfoy, the redeemed Death Eater and Recluse of Malfoy Manor. But now there’s evidence that some people are onto him, and as a consequence of the death threats issued to him, he gets an assigned Auror guard. Maybe Harry Potter, their leader, could be a problem when it comes to Draco’s latest con. Although how could he, when he’s getting all distracted by Draco’s fluttering eyelashes?

6. John MacNab Didn’t Have a Wand by StacPolly [M, 42.5k]

It’s Silly Season and Kingsley’s tired of life, Hermione’s living vicariously, Harry’s had enough and Malfoy turns out to have a sense of humour. Ron’s just in it for the laugh.
When the Minister for Magic and Head Auror start to suffer from post-war ennui Hermione decides to liven them up with a re-enactment of John MacNab, infamous poacher from Highland estates. Lucius Malfoy’s albino peacocks had better watch out…

7. The Magician’s Gifts by RurouniHime | @thegertie [M, 32.7k]

8. Love Is Indispensable by Rice-Ball247 (Koibito247) [T, 22.1k]

Draco Malfoy didn’t know anything about love, Harry concluded. The reason as to why he was giving him a chance was beyond his own understanding, but now it seems that Draco is the one teaching Harry how to love.

9. The Other Side to Draco Malfoy by makingitwork [E, 20.5k]

Draco Malfoy’s best friend is Theodore Nott, the only person he trusts. So The Golden Trio decide to make Harry use Polyjuice Potion to see what Draco knows about the war. The only problem is, while pretending to be Theodore Nott, Harry discovers another side to Draco. A better, lonelier side. And the plan falls to pieces. As plans often do.

10. The Curse of the Little Mermaid by @darkravenwrote [E, 18.5k]

It starts with an itch, which rapidly devolves into Potter asking what ‘in the name of McGonagall’s pantaloons’ he is doing in a pond. Things can only get better from there, right?

i know that there existing more about 1000000 pictures of sergio and iker, but these are my favorites. it’s not, because sese is crying;and i’m sure there are enough pictures with iker in which sergio is happy and smiling. no, i love these pictures so much because it shows how deep their friendship really is. and how..emotional it is, although without description. they know each other about 9 years now, had so many ups and downs together. euro 2008, world cup 2010, lost clasicos, winning copa del rey and la liga, euro 2012. and then this emotional cl semi final happend, they all fighted with all they had but it wasn’t enough. sese was captain and he believed so much that they could make it; that they would win la decima in 2013 like he promised. but they didn’t made it and he broke down after the game. iker was there for him, even if he didn’t played; comforting him because he knew that sergio would need him now. i’m sure that he was proud, that sese was the captain today. because he did everything what was possible, fighted so hard. they may have lost, but it showed us this perfect friendship and how close they are - despite of all the drama who may were and is going on at real madrid. of course you can say that this is just a speculation, but i think, these pictures speak more then 1000 words.

Darren Fletcher is set to leave Manchester United, a club he’s played In since 1995, and join West Ham in the next couple of days. Before his illness, he was one of the best box to box midfielders. I will truly miss him, a red through and through! A legend for this club!

Here are his biggest honors :

Premier league(5)
07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13
FA Cup (1): 2003–04

FA Community Shield (4): 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010

UEFA Champions League (1): 2007–08

FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2008

anonymous asked:

A friend of mine doesn't like ronaldo... can you give me some good arguments

Oh, there are plenty, dear. So many that I can’t even mention all right now. Here are a few:

  • He’s the first player in the world to win the CL, the League, the Golden Boot, the Ballon d’Or, the UEFA Player of the Year, the Cup, the Supercup and the Topscorer of the League with two different teams in two different leagues. (Manchester United | Premier League & Real Madrid | Spanish La Liga)
  • He’s already the all-time top-scorer of his country Portugal, at only 29 years of age.
  • He broke every possible CL-record last season. (most UCL-goals in a season, most group-stage-goals ever, most UCL-goals in a single calender-year, etc.)
  • He has more goals than games for Real Madrid. He has scored 255 goals for Real Madrid, after having played only 250 (!) games!
  • He has proved himself to be any team’s outstanding star-player, no matter under which coach. (with Portugal, ManU and RM coaches)
  • He’s the ONLY player who has been compared to the world’s best players ever since 2007! (with Ronaldinho, with Kaká, and now with Messi)
  • He’s the ONLY player in the World to have scored in EURO 2004, World Cup 2006, EURO 2008, World Cup 2010, EURO 2012 and World Cup 2014!!!
  • After only 5 (!) seasons at Real Madrid he’s already their 4th all-time top-goalscorer and he only needs 68 goals more to become number 1 of this list.
  • He’s undoubtly the most complete player in today’s game. He scores with his left foot, right foot, head, can score free-kicks, penalties, tap-ins, solo-goals, counter-attacks and long range goals!
  • He’s one of THE MOST PROFESSIONAL athletes you will find in today’s sports. Despite the level and achievements he has already reached, he always arrives to training 1 hour earlier than his teammates and is also the last one to leave. He takes care of what he eats and trains his body and skills in his free-time in order to always be fit and ready.
  • He’s honest and directly says what he thinks. Therefore he’s sincere and doesn’t pretend to be someone he’s not.
  • He has A VERY big heart and always makes sure he helps those in need, whenever he can. He also doesn’t brag about it in the media, because he doesn’t do that for publicity.
  • He’s proud of his origins and never forgot where he came from.
  • He’s a very likable and easy-going person who likes to laugh and joke around a lot and he is (contrary to the shit the press writes) a very humble and down-to-earth guy ;)
  • He doesn’t care what haters think, he only tries to evolve and develop with every game and challenge.
  • He always gives his 100% in a game, no matter for which team or competition.
  • He accepts people’s opinions about him and knows he can’t be loved by every one. He doesn’t have a problem with that.

As you see the list is very long and I could go on for hours, so here are just a few reasons why he’s the BEST. Hope they’ll help you ;)
