world consciousness

Space and silence are two aspects of the same thing, the same no-thing. They are an externalization of inner space and inner silence, which is stillness: the infinitely creative womb of all existence. Most humans are completely unconscious of this dimension. There is no inner space, no stillness. They are out of balance. In other words, they know the world, or think they do, but they don’t know God. They identify exclusively with their own physical and psychological form, unconscious of essence. And because every form is highly unstable, they live in fear. This fear causes a deep misperception of themselves and of other humans, a distortion in their vision of the world.
—  Eckhart Tolle
Don’t try to demonstrate your spirituality, keep it your secret. Then you find that it is possible to be in both worlds. You can speak to people normally, you don’t have to ‘be’ spiritual you can speak with them. But something will be moving through your conversations and your contact. Something will change. Especially if they don’t see that you’re trying to do something. But you only speak from your truth, from your way. And initially, although there’s greater peace even in your face, in your countenance, the mind, which is still immersed in conditioning, doesn’t see that at first. It sees more threat.
'You’re not the one I, I have in here of you. You’re not matching up to my picture of you. So something is wrong with you.’
You have to be strong. And you’re growing strong, just by staying still.

Astrology fun facts

I will for some but HOPEFULLY I don’t have to put a ‘normally’, ‘usually’, etc. in front of everything. Also if you like this & idk if I should do more tell me because it’s fun. 💫

-Uranus in the 1st usually makes one tall.

- Sagittarius rising people always have something cute & dorky to them, even those who normally are/seem the complete opposite.

- Cancer is the coldest sign.

- Geminis (moons too) are usually bookworms.

- Scorpio venusians tend to fall for those they can’t reach (e.g. already married, celebrities, already dead, …)

- females with (esp hard) sun/saturn aspect are much more likely to be attracted to those a lot older (NOT an indicator for daddy kink!).

- Pisceans usually have something ethereal to them.

- Aquarius & Sagittarius won’t listen when you tell them not to do something.

- Water venusians & mercurians are likely more poetic.

- Venus in the 9th makes you popular.

- A lot of Virgo & 6th house placements make it more likely for you to have good eating habits & to work out (aka do what’s good for your health).

- Capricorn have to prove themselves to the world/public, whether consciously or subconsciously.

- Libras are social butterflies.

- Sun in the 2nd makes for a good singer.

- Pisces & Sagittarius folks often have something puppy-like to them.

- Leo friends are great both for introverts & extroverts as long as you don’t hold them from having fun.

- The last signs (Pisces, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Capricorn too but not as much) are usually very tolerant & non-judgmental.

- Air signs gossip the most (esp Gemini + Libra).

- Sister-sign sun/moon combos (eg Pisces sun-Virgo moon) can be hard but great if learned to deal with.

- Your draconic chart (+ with it its placements) most likely won’t be apparent & fitting to others.

- The first signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer) are more naïve than the rest.

- A mercury retrograde in your chart makes you witty.

- Gemini, Virgo & Scorpio (esp moon) are best at hiding emotions.

“If I didn’t think I could be a part of a movement that could influence, and be a part of helping and change, if I couldn’t help that through what I’m doing, I wouldn’t do this. But I’m seeing that through this position -in this career, and where I have these magazine interviews- I can be an example, and I think that’s important. In all the interviews I do, I say something about being vegan. I don’t want to come off as if I’m a savior. I’m only a very small part of anything, but I think it’s important to be involved. I’m interested in meditation and finding spiritual fulfillment. But for me to just go off and devote my life to monkhood in the jungle would be ultimately abandoning the world, and the consciousness would be on a selfish level. I think I can do a lot more good for this planet if I am out there."

- River on an interview for Vegetarian Times, March 1988.

FACT: There are more people in the world who desire peace than those who do not.

Humanity is far more loving than it has been made out to be. Don’t let the actions of a few poison your view of the many.

So , if you have control over the thought forms and change them as you want, you are not bound by the outside world. There’s nothing wrong with the world. You can make it a heaven or hell according to your approach. That is why the entire Yoga is based on citta vrtti nirldhah (the restraint of the mind’s distractions). If you control your mind, you have controlled everything. Then there is nothing in this world to bind you.

a personal list of symptoms i have that fall under the fantasy living aspects of avpd (avoidant personality disorder). maybe you’ll resonate with some of these as well.

  • over consuming media. whether its anime, manga, dramas, or video games. an example: i finished s1 of a 24ep show in two days while playing animal crossing the entire time. when i take a break, i insert myself into the world of the media i’m partaking in. this could manifest as a simple self insert, imagining what i’d do in certain situations, to a complete thought out fantasy world that takes my consciousness out of reality. it can be jarring when i’m dragged back into the real world by force (sometimes, i can have conversations with people without knowing it, and come out of it during).
  • creating personas / ideal personalities. i don’t like how i portray myself in the real world most of the time. my personality, as i see it, is basically just a bunch of symptoms from disorders. so when i’m in these fantasies i’ve created, i give myself better traits and make myself look the way i want. these visions of myself are often times carried into dreams and, when i’m not paying attention, sometimes through conversation in real life. i lack a thought to mouth filter when this happens.
  • uncertain reality. because of the dissociating and the constant back and forth between fantasies, reality can seem totally unreal. people and relationships can seem fake, forced, or dishonest. especially when a person you’re close to is sucked into your fantasy. they can say or do something in your made up world, but in the real world — they’d never do or say something like that, which sends mixed signals to your brain. “maybe they would actually do that.”, “maybe they have thought those things before.”, “maybe they do feel that way.”, etc.
  • if i don’t think about it, it doesn’t exist / didn’t happen. have you ever experienced a dream so vivid of every day life that you have to stop and think, did that really happen or was that a dream? it’s the same concept as that but reversed. if i tell myself something didn’t happen, i start to believe it. example: an acquaintance sets off alarms of potential abandonment. i leave them before they can leave me. i tell myself i never knew them. i start forgetting things about them. eventually, i don’t even remember their name. they’ve been cut from my memory. they don’t exist in my reality.

Natasha Romanov was many things: ace assassin, hotshot hacker, super spy.  Pleasant in the morning?  No. Not one of her virtues. You might as well have poked a sleeping bear with a pointy stick; their reactions were generally the same.  Though the bear was more likely to let you live, come to think of it.  But desperate times called for desperate measures.

The red head cradled her mug as she shuffled back towards the bed with eyes half open.  You took that as an invitation, though it probably wouldn’t work on vampires, you’d have to remember that should the time come.  You kicked the door shut and plopped onto the bed where a half-naked Clint was slowly entering the world of consciousness.  You signed “good morning” to him once his confused expression grazed from Natasha and back to you.  He grinned puckishly before speaking aloud, “Is it my birthday?”
