Drake Parties At Stingaree In San Diego

On Sunday night Drake was in San Diego for ‘Would You Like A Tour?’. After the show he headed to Stingaree where he was the host for the evening.

Drake showed San Diego a good time both at his show and after party. At the after party he hopped on the mic to talk to the crowd and let them know he was ready to party. Drake Sinatra was in the building. Check the photos and Instavids here.

Drake Plans To Release Multiple New Songs Before The Year Is Over

In June Drake shut the internet down when he released 4 new songs (“Versace (Remix)”, “Over Here”, “Jodeci Freestyle”, and “The Motion”). We’ve heard about a few more tracks that are still in the vault, and it now looks like we’ll be hearing them sooner than later.

Sampha Calls Working With Drake “A Great Experience”

This year we’ve been lucky enough to receive 2 collaborations between Drake and Sampha, ”The Motion” and “Too Much”. Sampha recently sat down with Spin where he talked about meeting and collaborating with Drake.

Back in 2011, Drake released a remix to SBTRKT‘s ”Wildfire” and came out in Toronto to perform with them. Sampha tells Spin that after Drake heard some of his unreleased music, “he said that he really liked it [my music] and where I was going, and that’s kind of how the relationship started.” While Nothing Was The Same was in the works Sampha flew to Toronto for a few studio sessions and what he called “a great experience because he [Drake] gave me so much confidence.” Hopefully we’ll be getting some more collaborations between the two of them in the future! Check out what else he said about working with Drake as well as the video of Drake performing Wildfire back in 2011 here

Drake Brings Out Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, And Birdman In LA (Video)

Last night was a great night as Drake performed a sold-out show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. On top of the show being sold out, he managed to surprise the crowd by bringing out a few special guests.

The Staples center was packed from top to bottom with celebrities and fans patiently waiting to see Drake perform. Celebrities in attendance included Kevin Hart, Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, The Jenners/Kardashians, Diddy, and many more. During his set Drake brought out Birdman to perform “Still Fly”, Snoop Dogg to perform “D.O. Double G”, “Nuthin But A G Thing” and “Drop It Like Its Hot”, as well as Nicki Minaj to perform their hit “Make Me Proud”. It was definitely an epic show that will go down in the books! You can catch videos of the performances here.

Drake’s Dad Talks “Worst Behaviour” Video And Drake Growing Up In Memphis

There were several standout moments in the ”Worst Behaviour” music video, but possibly the best one was seeing Drake‘s dad, Dennis Graham, as the focal point. XXL caught up with him where he talked about how he prepared for the video and the summers Drake spent in Memphis.

In the past Drake has talked about the summers he spent in Memphis with his father, and in these last couple of weeks we’ve really gotten a chance to see how much its influenced him. In his interview with XXL, Dennis talked about shooting the “Worst Behavior” video, Drake’s summers in Memphis, and knowing Drake would be a star. Check out the interview here.

The Superbowl was last night and the Seahawks took the win over the Broncos. To celebrate, Drake headed out to Marquee where they have their version of ‘Liv On Sunday’.

Drake of course couldn’t resist and hopped on the decks for an impromptu DJ set. Many attendees to the club said Drake turned it into a Jamaican house party. According to DJ Steph Floss, Drake even played 8 bars of a new song. Check out some photos and video from Drake at Marquee here.

Drakespent yet another night in New York City and headed out to Griffin with French Montana among others last night. While on the 1′s and 2′s Drake previewed a couple of his own new unheard songs.

In one of the songs we hear both Aaliyah’s angelic voice as well as Drake’s and the song seems to be called“Talk Is Cheap”. In the other song, Drake raps such lines as“All white like I move thangs”. Drake partied at Marquee on Sunday where DJ Steph Floss stated he previewed another new song, but only a couple of bars from it. From the looks of it, Drake definitely has some good music in the stash.

Drake was previously working on an Aaliyah album, but stopped due to the negative press it was receiving. Back while he was on tour, Drake previewed a new song from her while on the tour bus. The songs sound very similar so it very well could be the same song. Hopefully, he releases some of these songs in the near future! Check the videos here.
