wool ease

Finished! Fornicating deer chart from Ravelry. Cast on 96 stitches on size 4.5mm needles. Probably should have used 4mm or maybe 3.75mm but I always get nervous about stranded work.

It ended up being adult size, not too big. I added random ‘snowflakes’ instead of the star and stripss at the top of the chart.

Lion brand Wool Ease worsted and Navy and Fisherman for our cussing, drinking, Kentucky fan of a friend.

Hey there, I was wondering where you got the pattern for the Katniss cowl. It's gorgeous and you did an AMAZING job. Have a great day!! :D :D

Thank you so much!! For mine, I want it to look as close as possible to the original but still be wearable for everyday use, but i can’t find a pattern online that exactly matched what I wanted. After some research and observing how others did it, I mixed and matched instructions from different patterns and tutorials when I did mine. I will list under read more the free patterns and tutorials I found online that I referred to, as well as instructions on how i did mine, hope it helps!

You’d think it would be easy after all these years. That the fear would disappear, leaving confidence and trust in its place. It never did. It was always like the first time. Katniss remembered being on stage, for her first gala at the dance school, when she was a rose in the Queen of Heart’s garden after barely a few months of ballet classes. Ever since that day, she could feel the tendrils of fear climbing up from her belly before every performance.

Of course, with time, she had perfected her pre-show routine. Hairdresser, makeup, costumes, warm up, until that stressful last moment of wearing the pointes, stuffed with cotton wool, to ease the pain the shoes gave every dancer, just before the show.

I have 3 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease in “196 Zinnia” dye lot #36683 and I decided to use it to knit Hannah a My Honey cardigan.  The only problem?  I need *ONE* more skein!

The 2nd only problem?! It’s a discontinued colorway and I can’t find it anywhere!!  I’ve found THREE skeins that are stashed on Ravelry and none of them are for sale or trade.

What am I going to do?
I could alter the sleeves of the pattern so they don’t flair, and shorten the length of the cardi a little…

If you're still doing prompts, how about some omc flirting with Josh and Josh is into it bc he figures he'll never have Chris bc he's straight, but then Chris get jealous and kinda shows Josh who he really belongs with? Points if Chris is kinda mad

Anon, I had so much fun writing this. I hope you have even half as much reading it!

(Trigger warning for references of past suicide attempts)

(Also on AO3)

He probably shouldn’t, but Josh can’t help but flirt with the barista at the Starbucks nearest his apartment.
