This little woodlouse spider (pretty certain a male) ran across the floor at work on Saturday, along with about 400 other spiders and insects I took out that day. But I really really like woodlouse hunters so I stopped to take pictures and contemplate keeping him, tbh.
Just about killed myself climbing on my couch trying to reach this guy! I thought it was a broad-face sac spider, but now I’m thinking it’s a woodlouse hunter, the first time I’ve seen one at my house.
Woodlouse hunters have impressive fangs and I wish he wasn’t being so shy so I could see them.
Dysdera crocata, aka woodlouse hunter! I never knew their common name before today. I see them in our garden all the time. She was so shy she kept trying to hide between my fingers! My heart melted. She was so gentle.
