6 with taakitz, mayhaps, if you like that pairing?
6. Character B keeps calling Character A pet names, giving them hope.
“Which do you want, baby?”
The endearment makes Kravitz jump from surprise more than anything, and he swings around to face Taako who is currently observing a bottle of wine from one of his shelves. “Oh, uh, you’re the chef, I trust your judgement.”
“Good, because I wasn’t really gonna let you pick.” Content with his choice, Taako yanks the cork from the bottle with his teeth and gets to pouring two glasses for them. “Though I could easily pick something shitty just to see if you’ll react.”
Kravitz chuckles. “I can only hope you won’t betray my trust.”
Do you ever see someone else playing your main in your game and you’re just absolutely appalled because they’re doing it so wrong and they should just hand it over to you so you can show ‘em how it’s done.
you’re not a nice person and i’m better off without you. i’ve come to realize that you weren’t the sun i thought you were, i never realized how cold i was until you were gone and i could finally feel the actual warmth of the sun against my skin. you called me the moon but honey, i’m an entire universe. you never cherished me and you somehow always found a way to make me feel small. you learned ways to hurt me and you used them for your own advantage because you knew how fragile i could be. you may have won my trust once while you had me in the palm of your hands but darling you’ve shattered it to the point where i don’t think i can believe a single thing you’ve said to me. but keep on saying shit, cus your opinion means dick to me. ~
I fell down, in the woods, when I was running. I fell down, and I looked at the ground, and I saw my hand, and my sleeve, and the little button on my sleeve, and some dirt, and an old acorn. And I said to myself, “Okay if this is the last thing that you ever see, I can handle that. I’m done. I’ve had enough.” But it wasn’t the last thing that I saw. I just kept going. How do you keep going when the worst thing has happened? What do you have to change inside to survive? Who do you have to become?
A/N: so many of you requested this! I’m so glad you liked it! I’m definitely gonna do part three as well, and we’ll see what will happen next, but let me know if you do like it and if you want me to make part three! :) picture creds to the owner.
When they got up to the deck everyone, except the captain, was sitting behind a long table, laughing and singing.
“I’ve been drunk now for over two weeks, I passed out and I rallied and I sprung a few leaks, But I’ve got to stop wishin’, Got to go fishin’, I’m down to rock bottom again. Just a few friends, just a few friends.”
Luke hummed along. “If you didn’t get it yet, then I should tell you, that pirates love to sing. They’re horrible, but if you’re drunk all the time, then who cares?”
Luke guided Y/N to the table. Everyone went silent as they eyed Y/N. Luke sat her down in the middle of the table, next to, who she thinks was the chef. He sat next to her. She felt everyone’s eyes on her and tried not to think about what Luke had said earlier. You’re here to please them. She looked at the pirate next to her and saw him smiling at her. sincerely smiling, not smirking. You have to get out of here. Everyone started slowly talking again and their attention drifted away again.
Some waves hit the ship and Y/N realized that they were really moving. We spend weeks out on the sea. She started to panic. Her breathing became irregular and Luke noticed it. He grabbed her hand under the table.
“Don’t worry, I got you, I’m not gonna let anything happen to you,” he whispered in her ear.
“Why? Why do you even care?”
Luke didn’t answer. Instead, his eyes went behind her and once again, everyone froze. Y/N already knew what was going on and she didn’t bother looking behind her. She could hear his breathing.
“Everyone, please continue,” he said and bent down to whisper in Y/N’s ear, “and you, sweetheart, are coming to have dinner with me.”
She could smell the alcohol and that made her shiver. She squeezed Luke’s hand, signaling that she didn’t want to go.
“Sir, I think it’s best for all of us, if she stays here tonight.” Luke said.
Finally Y/N looked behind her, but to her surprise, the captain wasn’t looking at her or Luke, he was looking under the table and saw them holding hands. She expected him to get mad or something, but instead, a smirk grew on his face.
“Luke, can I talk to you for a minute,” the captain asked.
Luke nodded and started to stand up, but Y/N didn’t let go of his hand.
“Luke…” she whispered.
“I’ll be back soon, okay?” he squeezed her hand reassuringly and left.
Y/N wanted to look behind her, but she couldn’t, she could feel the captains eyes on her as they walked away. Much to her surprise though, they didn’t go far and if she really tried, she could hear what they were saying.
“So, you put a hand on her huh?” the captain asked.
“W-what?” Luke stuttered.
The captain laughed. “You have her trust now and you wanna have her first, right?”
“Y-yeah… I want to have her first.”
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She felt stupid for really believing a pirate would care about her. Her eyes started to sting as they filled with tears, but she couldn’t let them fall. Not in front of all these men.
“Y'know, usually I wouldn’t let anyone use her before myself, but this is the first time you’ve stepped up, so I’m gonna let you have her. But just for tonight, tomorrow she’s mine.”
Y/N felt a shiver run through her body and she didn’t want to listen to them anymore. She’d heard enough. Instead, she looked at the food, trying to figure out what to take first. As much as this situation made her want to puke, she was also starving.
"The potatoes are really good with the pig,“ the pirate sitting next to her said.
“But…there are no forks or knives…” she said, noticing that everyone was eating with their dirty hands.
The pirate laughed. “You’re having dinner with pirates, not with the queen of England. I’m Eric, the chef,” he said and stretched his hand out.
Y/N looked at his hand, hesitant whether she wanted to touch his hands or not. “Don’t worry, I wash my hands regularly. The food’s also clean, or as clean as it can be.” he reassured her.
They shook hands. Y/N filled her plate with potatoes and pork, adding some beans.
"I see that Eric told you what’s good around here,” she heard Luke chuckle as he sat down next to her.
She looked at him, thinking whether she would confront him now or later. She cocked her head and smiled sarcastically, “Yeah."
They dug in. They were right, the food was good. Y/N reached for a bottle, but Luke stopped her. "Trust me, you don’t want that, it’s rum."
"Don’t you have drinking water?"
Both of the men laughed. "Sweetie, you’re on a pirate ship, the only thing you drink around here is rum.” Eric said.
"Well, then I’m gonna drink some rum, because I’m thirsty.“ Y/N answered stubbornly.
Luke sighed. "Okay, here’s an apple, take a sip and then bite the apple. It isn’t as bad that way, trust me."
Trust me. Like I’m ever gonna trust you again. She still took the apple and the rum and suddenly all eyes were on her.
She gulped. Sure she’d drank alcohol before, but not rum, she had no idea what’s it gonna taste like.
She looked around before bringing the bottle to her mouth and taking a big sip. As soon as the alcohol went down her throat she started to cough.
Everyone laughed at her.
"Bite the apple, bite the apple,” Luke hissed in her ear.
She did as told, taking a big bite, barely even chewing it before swallowing. The men were still laughing and making rude comments about her and that was pissing her off.
She took the bottle again and made sure everyone was looking at her, before taking two big sips.
Everyone shut up and looked amazed.
"Looks like we’ve got a tough cookie over here!“ someone yelled and everyone started cheering again.
After the attention had drifted away from her, Luke angrily whispered in her ear. “What was that? Do you wanna get drunk?”
She looked at him, anger evident in her eyes. “People were laughing at me, do you really think I’m gonna let them think I’m weak?”
Before Luke had the chance to answer, the captain appeared on the deck. “Gentleman! And the lady,” he said, gesturing towards Y/N with the bottle in his hand. “Please, clean up the deck, we have some big waves coming up. Luke, you and the lady may leave.”
“But sir, isn’t cleaning up actually Lucas’s job?” someone asked.
The captain moved towards him and whispered, “You see, Pops, Luke there, is gonna take good care of our guest.”
“But he’s not even a real pirate, sir,” the boy argued.
The captain tilted his head, looking him in the eye. He moved his bottle to point at him, but ended up spilling his drink all over him.
He looked at the drink for a while before slowly raising his head and saying, “You made me spill my drink.”
Luke nudged Y/N to stand up. “Go, go, go, go,” he urged.
“What?” she hissed.
The captain raised his bottle to his mouth and drank what was still left in there. Then he brought the bottle down to smack it against Pops’ head.
“Oh god,” Y/N gasped, her hands flying to her mouth.
Everyone started to pace around, some going to work and others helping Pops.
“GO!” Luke yelled at Y/N.
She still didn’t listen, watching the scene in front of her.
Luke stood up and pulled Y/N up after him. He dragged her to the cabin.
After the door shut, he pushed Y/N against it, put his hands on either side of her head and looked her dead in the eye.
“Lets make some things clear,” he hissed.
Y/N was terrified.
“You do as I say, or you will get killed, understand?” She nodded.
“Don’t try to act tough in front of them, they will be tough with you, and you don’t want that, understand?” She nodded.
“I’m the only one you can trust. I’m gonna find someone to help us, but til’ then you can only trust me, understand?” She nodded, tears making their way into her eyes and down her cheeks.
Luke backed away. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you, it’s just…if you keep acting the way you are now, you’ll be dead before we make it to the next stop.”
She didn’t look at him. “S-so what now? What are you gonna do to me? Because I won’t let you get to me easily.”
“Don’t act dumb,” she looked at him. “I heard what you said to the captain. You won my trust, telling me they’re the bad guys, but you’re just like them, if not worse. Now you’re gonna use me to please you.”
Luke looked hurt. Which confused her. He was the bad guy. “You made me believe that there was one man on this goddamn ship who wasn’t an asshole, trying to use me, but the truth is that you’re the most horrible man I have ever met! The others made it clear that I’m here for one reason only, but you…is this like a game to you? Like, I don’t know, a foreplay? Because if it is, then it’s the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen!”
She was hyperventilating by the time she was done and Luke looked more angry with every word she said.
“I’m not gonna use you…” he said calmly, clenching his fists.
“Oh yeah? Then what are you gonna do? Make me fall in love with you and then show me how horrible you really are? You’re gonna let me think that I have a shot making it out of here alive? That I have a shot of making it out of here healthy and whole? That I’m not gonna be raped-”
Luke took one big step forward and crashed his lips to her.
So there’s this guy i’ve been talking to for around 5 months and
he won my trust with a lot of things (what is very hard) and we both had feelings for each other. We
started off as ‘friends with benefits’ but then developed into more than just
friends but we never made it into a relationship. Anyway, my feelings kept
getting stronger but he turned around and said he’s lost feelings and just
wants to be nothing but friends now. We never talk anymore because i feel like
i’m just a burden to him as he never makes the effort to talk first again and
i’m pretty sure it wont be long until hes talking to someone else because he’s
already been mentioning this girls name to my friends. He’s just walked away
like what we had was nothing and it really sucks to have to see him everyday
and pretend that were just strangers with a big past…
Found this fun AU prompt on one of alchemistc’s reblogs and had to write it.
“is that REALLY what you want us to write on your custom-order cake?” AU
A/N: I intended this to be a one-shot, but I loved writing these two so much that there will be at least one more chapter. This one’s a bit lengthy, 2100 words/ FF.NET)
“Mr. Jones. This is Emma from Swan Bakery. I have a few questions about the custom cake you ordered. Can you please give me a call as soon as possible? Thanks.”
Killian looked down at his phone in confusion. Cake? He hadn’t ordered a bloody cake? This woman must be confused. Plus, she didn’t leave her phone number for him to return her call. Leaning forward to his laptop, he searched “Swan Bakery” and found one listing in Boston. Clicking on the website, he was pleasantly surprised with the understated elegance of the cakes on display. The Contact Us page opened to large photo of a striking blonde woman decorating a wedding cake, with a bio to the right for Emma Swan, Owner and Pastry Chef. Killian was suddenly saying an internal thank you for whatever mix-up caused this beautiful woman to call him this morning. Dialing the number listed, he waited for the mystery to be solved.
“Swan Bakery, how can I help you?”
“Ah, hi, I’m returning a call from Emma?”
“This is Emma, is this Mr. Jones?”
Gods, even her voice was gorgeous. “Aye, you said something about a custom cake? Sorry to disappoint you, lass, but I haven’t ordered a cake from you.”
“Uh….hang on.” Killian can hear the muffled sigh and ruffling of papers through the phone and he couldn’t help but feel somewhat sorry for the woman on the other end of the line. She was not starting her day off on the right foot and he felt an unexplainable need to somehow turn her day around.
“Sorry about that. Ok, I have the order right here. I have a custom cake that was ordered last night on our website from Mr. Jones, billing address on file is 32 Market Street. That’s not you?”
Our school held this contest and the theme was “How To Be Happy” (anti-bullying) and there were many different projects like
posters, songs, some made "how-to” videos, but I made a movie with my
friends and the title was “I Did It” and my message was: “To be happy
is to follow your dream.” Our group won the contest, I won the
trust of my parents because they didn’t think I could do it, and this short film got
me my scholarship to college.
