Manifesto is more than just a showcase. Coming together, sharing knowledge and having a space for dialogue is a major facet of what we aim to create. We are very happy to be bringing this new component to the festival, a conference which features keynote speaker Dream Hampton, panel discussions focusing on Community and Career in hip hop, and concludes with the Forgiveness Project (aka F-You) where artists will give an intimate account of their trials and tribulations throughout their lives.
Saturday, September 24 AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) 317 Dundas St. West Doors open at 12pm for in-person registration and check-in Time: 1-8:30pm All-ages FREE

“WHO YOU CALLIN’ A B?! U.N.I.T.Y.” - FEMINISM IN HIP HOP (a discussion continued from the Wombmanifesto) We discuss the word “feminism” and how it relates to hip hop and the hip hop community.
