THIRD EYE PICKS OF THE WEEK: CURSE WORDS #3 – CURSE WORDS has definitely risen to the top as one of our favorite IMAGE reads, and every month, we find ourselves looking forward to the next issue even more! In this week’s issue #3, the wacky mayhem continues, as Wizord, the world’s most popular wizard (also its only wizard), has undergone a serious setback. So he does what many of us do in such situations-heads for a local watering hole, accompanied by his magical familiar, Margaret the koala. But while Wizord is drowning his sorrows, his enemies back in the Hole World are preparing to strike! What’s CURSE WORDS all about? In this brand new ongoing series from Charles Soule (Inhumans vs. X-Men, Letter 44, Poe Dameron) and Ryan Browne (God Hates Astronauts), we’re introduced to a cast of characters that may be the most endearing since that first issue of SAGA! A wizard has appeared in New York City, and he’s casting wonderful spells, getting famous, getting rich — and it’s all good, right? Well, not quite. See, that wizard that everyone loves and worships? He’s actually not the altruistic good guy with a cool haircut that he seems. He’s actually a pretty evil wizard, and some pretty evil things are on the way. Curse Words is a gonzo modern fantasy, full of darkness, light, and.. magic! If Harry Potter went horribly wrong, and grew up to fool the world that he didn’t — he’d be Curse Words’s lead, Wizord! Wanna jump on board? We’ve got issues 1 & 2 in stock to get you current!
Homestuck fandom I thought we had already established that the dream bubble swirl was the yellow brick road, back before the Gigapause, literally years ago
Hell we had a yellow brick road way back in Act 5 Act 2 when Hussie first set up the Yellow Yard, the yellow brick road is nothing new, we already knew that wizord of oz was what the refrance
also we should be thankful that Calliope didn’t wake Jane and Jade up, because Arquiusprite is still working on deactivating Jane’s tiaratop and Jade is still susceptible to the Condesce’s mind control powers. Really, the only thing that would make Jane and Jade prematurely waking up a good thing would be if the alternative was LE destroying the bubble they’re in
and no, Calli can’t wake herself up. Because she is dead. She’s been dead since the end of Act 6 Act 3.
