without autotune

Rihanna - Best Vocal Performances

anonymous asked:

Tbh if I was given that kind of power the presentation would go on for 84 years 😂 And that's another major point??? There are barely any artists out there, within the kpop industry or outside of it, that haven't dabbled with autotune at some point throughout their careers; some artists wouldn't have careers at all without autotune there to edit their voices, because without it they sound awful, so I don't see why people give EXO trouble for Lotto just because of the autotune - Lotto anon

Dreams Come True // magicaldelights

Cordelia Foxx got out of her office with her head down, letting out a soft sigh as she walked through the streets of the city. The air was cold, and not even the cup of coffee she held in her hands could help her warm up. She put a strand of blonde hair out of her face and headed towards the subway.

It had been a long day of auditions in the studio, but none of the singers and bands she had listened to had convinced her. In fact, there were teenage singers and boybands everywhere, and Cordelia had honestly hated them. She didn’t want to be the manager of the next One Direction, and didn’t want to be apologizing for some kind of Justin Bieber that actually couldn’t sing without autotune.

Still, she didn’t lose hope and had chosen to do another round of aditions the next week, this time writing down the requirement of being more than eighteen years old. A young man handed her a flyier to a concert of an unknown artist in a bar near there, that same night. She took it and smiled at the guy, looking down to see who was playing. Sounds good.

One Direction Without Auto Tune.

meet k-pop’s newest obsession: Kwon Hyuk, also known as DΞΔN

Let me tell y’all about this kid right here.

Dean / DΞΔN TRBL / Deanfluenza has been making music since the age of 16. At just 23 years old, Dean has already produced and made music and lyrics for many popular k-pop songs, such as EXO’s “Black Pearl” and VIXX’s “Chained Up.”

Dean has just started making his own music, and not going to lie, it’s probably one of the best things that I have ever come across in regards to k-pop and kr&b. I was immediately drawn in by the smooth, electronic vibes and entrancing music videos. His music is so different from what is typically known as k-pop or kr&b, but oddly enough, it’s something that I never knew I was looking for.

With the help of his work in the past, Dean has quickly made his way to the top as an artist, and his popularity is constantly growing. He recently released his first mini album, 130 Mood : TRBL, earlier this month, so if you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend you check it out. ;)

Here’s some links to indulge yourself in, so enjoy :)

Listen to what the boys would sound like without autotune.

Clearly this is a joke, so no need to hate. Just listen and have a good laugh.
