My scholars have learned about gender identity, Black women’s ideology, Afrofuturism, enslaved African people, classism, sexism/misogyny/misogynoir, colorism, food deserts, racism, intersectionality, pan- Africanism and gender as a means to understand Latinx (instead of saying Latino/a) and Afro Latinx.
