witch's tower

“Ask the Dragon Witch, she knows the drill…”

I couldn’t help myself…It was just asking to be drawn. Plus, I’m living for all these headcanons of fighting Prince Roman and his battles with dragons. Enjoy the doodle~

THE TOWER - Tarot Card Curse Jar

Hey y'all !
I made this because some people love to be absolute douche bags!!! So if your local douche bag is being extra douchey then this just might be for you

This curse is meant to fuck up five different aspects of someone’s life (depending on the cards) which can be changed accordingly

This is the first Curse/Spell I’ve ever written so go easy on me, yeah? If you do actually do this- tag me. I’d love to see it
;0;

You Will Need:

* The Tower
* Chariot
* The Wheel of fortune
* Ten of Pentacles
* Three of Cups
* Knight of Pentacles
* A Mason Jar
* Taglock (preferably a picture)
* Curse powder (optional)

1. Print out the Tarot cards mentioned above (you can even use a scanner and scan your own cards) and cut them out. These are the cards you’ll be using for the curse
2. Take your mason jar and your taglock. Tape the taglock on the inside of the jar’s lid.
3. Now you’re ready to start. Find a place where you won’t be interrupted and lay out all the cards in front of you

THE CARDS

* Pick up the chariot first. Hold it above the taglock and say: “The Chariot, for determination and will power” now reverse the card and say “may you lose your focus and motivation, especially in study” now tear up the card and place it in the jar

* The wheel of fortune is next. Hold the card above the taglock again and say “the wheel of fortune for good luck” reverse and say “may your luck run dry and your path be strewn with mischances” tear and add to the jar.

* Third is the ten of Pentacles. Again, holding the card over the taglock say “Ten of Pentacles for Finance” reverse “may you experience personal financial failure” rip and toss it in the jar

* Now move on to the three of cups. Say: “three of cups for friendship and joy” next,you guessed it, reverse the card. “May your bridges burn and your heart fill with sadness” tear up that baby and toss it in the damn jar

* Lastly (thank the lord) is the knight of pentacles. Say: “knight of pentacles for efficiency and hard work” turn it upside down and continue. “ May your efforts and hard work prove fruitless” throw the shreds in the jar

————————————

Now that all the shredded cards are in the jar, throw in some curse powder or red pepper flakes to give the curse an extra kick. You can add other things like rusted nails or a tiny bit of war water etc, etc..
Close the lid of the jar. Shake the shit out of it. Let your anger bubble up and envision the target suffering the above mentioned misfortunes.

Open the jar back up and place the tower, upright, into the jar.
Close the lid again. Say: “may the tower bring the destruction you deserve”
Hide the jar in a dark place and shake it when you feel the curse needs an extra kick.

————————
To undo this curse open the jar and remove the tower. Reverse and rip it then throw it into the jar. Declare that the curse is lifted and dispose of the taglock and contents of the jar outside. Sweep the contents off of your property and dust off your hands. Now you can cleanse your jar for later use.

Again, this is my first spell and curse I’ve ever written. If you decide to try it show me your results!!

👁‍🗨Cheers!

Captain America paced in the small conference room, pinching the bridge of his nose. “This is going to tear us apart.” He sighed.

 “Maybe,” Natasha said plainly. “But it has to be done.” She pulled back the hammer on her gun and held it in front of her as she headed out of the glass doors cautiously. “They chose their sides and they knew what it meant.”

 Cap picked up his weapon and huffed. He pressed a hand to his ear to use the coms to speak to the rest of the team. “Alright, everyone, keep your eyes out and watch your six.”

 “Cap,” Sam replied from under a desk in Tony’s lab. “I’ve got movement up stairs near the bar. I think someone is in the vents.”

 “That’s gotta be Clint.” Natasha chimed in as she ran towards the common room. “I’ll take him out.”

I was looking through SJM’s ToG Pinterest board and I saw that she captioned this picture as Antica. Now that I think about it, what the hell do we even really know about freaking Antica?

Okay, so we all know that it’s the Southern continent’s stronghold. Chaol and Nesryn are going there to Torre Cesme to have his legs healed because of what happened in Queen of Shadows. Looking back at Assassin’s Blade, Celaena left money for Yrene Towers so she could go South to study and become a healer. THEY’RE PROBABLY GONNA MEET THAT IS GONNA BE SO EFFING AWESOME.

And since Torre Cesme is where healers study and Crochans live in hiding as healers, could they possibly be hiding in Antica? Dorian, Manon and the Thirteen are looking for the Crochans and the third wyrdkey, what if they all finally get together? SJM did say that characters from EoS will appear in ToD

BUT SERIOUSY WE KNOW SO LITTLE ABOUT THE SOUTHERN CONTINENT SO WE HAVE VERY LITTLE CONTENT TO WORK WITH

SJM did say that she loved writing and exploring this new place and its culture in ToD so that’s why the Chaol novella became an actual installment in the ToG Series. I guess we’ll learn much more about Antica soon enough, let’s theorize in the meantime and lemme just throw this shit out there.

Either way we’re all screwed anyway

Elemental Ritual of Self Blessing

Day 1 of @chaosundone‘s 31 Days of Pop Culture Spells Challenge - Write a spell inspired by the first character/fandom that made you interested in Pop Culture Witchcraft.

I was drawn to witchcraft initially by Kate Forsyth’s The Witches of Eileanan series, which are a fantastic series of books. The titular witches work in a Wiccan-esque style of magic, worshipping a nature goddess, casting circles, working with the five spiritual elements. It is what got me interested in Wicca, and though I now practice a secular craft, it is still very much influenced by those early readings of Forsyth’s witches. (If you haven’t checked them out, you really should. I cannot recommend them highly enough.)

This ritual is designed to take place in the hours before dawn, so that the completion of the rite happens as the sun rises. A period of fasting should take place before the ritual commences. Draw on the floor (or trace in the dirt if you are outside, ideally) a five pointed star inside a circle, large enough for you to move and work in, with the top point pointing in a north-east direction. At this top point place seeds of a plant that represents you, or that you identify with. This is to represent your Spirit. Working clockwise, place incense or a feather at the next point for Air, a candle or cauldron fire at the next point for Fire, a large bowl of water for Water at the next point, and a pot of soil at the next point for Earth. Gather any other ritual items that you usually use to cast a Circle.

Cast a Circle in your usual manner.

Sit at the top point of the star and meditate on the ritual, on what you wish to achieve, on what the purpose of the ritual is. You are blessing, cleansing, and empowering yourself with the power of the five spiritual Elements. Breathe deeply and slowly, allow yourself to slip into a trance-like state. When you are ready, say:

“I come to a sacred junction of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, to bless myself with the powers of the Elements. I bring the Spirit. May my heart be kind, may my mind be fierce, may my spirit be brave.”

Go to the eastern point of the star and circle, and waft the incense about you, or wave the feather around your body.

“I bless and cleanse myself with the Element of Air.” Breathe deeply of the air, feel the oxygen fill your lungs and flood your cells through your blood. Think of the life giving power of air, and acknowledge it’s destructive power; in your mind, find the balance between the two. “I breathe deep and give thanks, for without Air we would surely die.”

Go to the southern point of the star and circle, and hold your hands out over the flames.

“I bless and cleanse myself with the Element of Fire.” Feel the warmth of the fire spread through your body. Think of all the ways in which fire gives us life by keeping us warm, giving us life, and even being able to cook food with it. Acknowledge as well the dangerous elements of fire, of how easily it can turn from a tool to a weapon. Find the balance in your mind. “I warm myself and give thanks, for without Fire we would surely die.”

Go to the western point of the star and circle, and anoint your forehead with the water.

“I bless and cleanse myself with the Element of Water.” Take a drink of the water, feel the coolness flow down your throat. Think of the life giving powers of water, that it makes up the majority of our planet and of our own bodies. Think also of the destructive power of water, of floods and tsunamis. Find the balance. “I drink deeply and give thanks, for without Water we would surely die.”

Go to the northern point of the star and circle, and immerse your hands in the soil.

“I bless and cleanse myself with the Element of Earth.” Feel and absorb the earth’s nourishment though your hands. Think of our planet, which sustains all life. Think too of the danger of earth, of earthquakes and landslides. Find the balance. “I take nourishment and give thanks, for without Earth we would surely die.”

Return to the top point of the star and circle, and take your seeds, the source of life and growth, and consecrate them and name them for yourself. As you do this, reflect on why you selected this particular plant, on what it means to you, on how it relates to you as a person. As the sun rises over the horizon, plant the seeds in the pot, and water it deeply with the water.

“I plant myself in the womb of the earth, nourished by the water of life, to grow strong by the fire of the sun, to breathe back the air of the world. As this [name of plant] grows, so do I grow. As this [name of plant] is strengthened by the Elements, so am I strengthened. May my heart by kind, may my mind be fierce, may my spirit be brave.”

Close the Circle in your usual way. Care for your plant, for it is a representation now of yourself and your connection to the Elements and to the world.

  • Chariot, pointing to a roomba with speakers attached to it: What is that?
  • Croix: Oh, I strapped a MP3 player to one of my mechanical brooms. I call him DJ Broomba. Little guy cruises around and plays music.
  • Croix, pressing an app on her tablet: What's hot, DJ Broomba!
  • DJ Broomba: //STARTS FLYING AROUND AND BLASTING MUSIC//
  • Croix: DJ BROOMBA, TEARING IT UP
