Winter is coming

Thanksgiving Weekend seemed a good excuse to find a gorgeous picture of a snow-covered peak described as being near Aspen, CO, shrouded in clouds. Time to break out the heavier jackets.

Early season snow flurries at 12000 feet in the Maroon Bells wilderness, Colorado 

Last week, Glacier National Park in Montana received its first snow of the season. While it closed Going-to-the-Sun Road from St. Mary to Logan Pass for a short time, that section of the road has reopened, offering visitors as chance to enjoy a beautiful, wintery world.
