The signs + their seasons

(This is only for the Northern Hemisphere)

Spring: Aries, Taurus, Gemini. The season of restoration. After the cold winter comes the pleasant and vibrant Spring. This season symbolizes love, hope, youth, and growth. These signs in particular have a certain youthful quality to them and love for life that represents this season well. You can say that these are the “child at hearts.”

Summer: Cancer, Leo, Virgo. The season of restlessness and warmth. After the restoration of Spring comes the joy (and heat) of Summer. This season symbolizes friendship, freedom, growth, and joy. These signs exude warmth in their own special ways and always want others to feel that same warmth.

Autumn: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius. The season of peace. After Summer comes the change from excitement to tranquility. This season represents change, maturity, beauty, and ending. These profound signs represent this season perfectly. They always try their best to keep the peace, and they are constantly going through internal changes of their own.

Winter: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. The season of loneliness. After Autumn comes the despair of Winter. This season symbolizes death, old age, and bitterness. But it also represents rebirth and hope. These signs may seem unresponsive and lonely at times which reflects their cold and bitter season, but they are very much capable of bringing hope of the greatness that’s still to come.
The Winter Solstice 2017 will be the worst day of the year
The 2017 Winter Solstice is predicted by astrologers to be the worst day of the entire year due to a rare cosmic incident that hasn't occurred in over 350 years. The sun and Saturn will actually line up.

So apparently the Sun and Saturn are going to move into Capricorn and be aligned for the first time since 1664 on the Winter Solstice.

we are practicing an ancient occult ritual and sacrament when we celebrate christmas in honour of our birthday, solar life, and astrology. our ancestors also practiced this great ceremony in reverence of the winter solstice and the return of light. this is the birthday of the sun which is you, the golden capricorn, the internal archetypal child saviour who our ancient ancestors ascribed as jesus, krishna, indra, and eros amongst many others following nine months of gestation beginning in the aries arise spring.

part of this ritual begins on christmas eve when we celebrate the second re-birth of dionysus. this is a 12 day event where we make offerings, sing hymn’s, and rejoice with intoxication, fruit, consume wine instead of water, and relish in a banquet. dionysus is known as the spirit of the christmas present who was recipient of 7 toys known as the toys of dionysus. he is often depicted riding a chariot pulled by exotic beasts that transform into the sleigh and the reindeer. happy birthday to you. the ‘3 wise men’ followed a ‘star’ or ‘horoscope’ to find the child saviour. this is the ‘way’ in which your astrological chart can direct you through to your ultimate potential, so it may be a reaffirming gift to read and reflect on your own

This is a painting of infant Diónysos, created by contemporary Hellenic artist Lykeia

“The Faeries moved closer to the three Ladies seated on the altar stone. The Mother held a bundle close in Her arms, smiling down at it. The Maiden reached down and took the Faeries gently in her Hands. She held them close to the Mother so they could see what She held.“A Baby!” the Faeries cried. “ A new little Baby! Look how he glows!”“He is the newborn Sun King,” said the Maiden smiling.

“But the wind blew cold. The Sun King looked tired and old. We thought The Sun King was dead,” the Faeries answered her. “How can this little baby be the Sun King?”“That is the great secret of the Winter Solstice.” The Old Wise One touched the baby’s cheek with her wrinkled hand. “Every year the Sun King must come to the sacred grove during the darkest days of winter where he dies. I take his spirit to the Mother who gives him new life again. This is the way for all creatures, not just the Sun King.”

A Pan Flute Melody in Honour of Capricorn’s Birthday

Hark now hear the angels sing
A new king (Sun) born today
And man will live for evermore (the nourishment of sunlight)
Because of Christmas Day
Them hear a choir sing –
the music seemed to come from afar (the sun climbing up, the sun returning to the mountain top)
Them see a bright a new shining star (the sun returning from the winter solstice standstill)
Them find no place to born her child
Not a single room was in sight (Saturn/Capricorn opposes home, comfort, shelter of moon/cancer)
And in a manger cold and dark (winter solstice darkness and chill)
Mary’s little boy was born (Capricorn, the sun in the centre of the horoscope is born)

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn, and The Saturnalia Festival was held at this time of year. The ceremony was to honour of the death of a Sun and rebirth of an ‘Unconquerable Sun’ as the sun returns from the paralysis that is seen in the winter solstice sky to radiate once more. The ancients celebrated the tremendous regeneration and restoration of energy that the warmth of sunlight provided. Darkness reconciles with light as the day. The goodness is taken with the bad. Life meets death, and the wisdom of the darkness is harvested and respected by the light. The Tibetan mantra for Capricorn is “Lost am I in Light Supernal, yet on that Light, I turn my back.” The elder finds the child. The young are given gifts from the old, the gift is the ultimate gift of life, the sun. Masters (Capricorn/Saturn) served and made abundant offerings to children, the poor, and oppressed (Cancer/Moon) equal in the balance of light and dark. This is why the sun is the centre of your horoscope, you are the newborn Sun/Son. Capricorn undertakes this internal realignment of light and dark on a consistent basis. The perceived lack of external safety, recognition, and support internalises Capricorn and directs focus into developing the inner light, returning the light inside of themselves.

Capricorn is the astrological sea goat. The goat climbs up the mountain to symbolise the rise of the sun. The mermaid tail is residual of the water that fell as rain in dark winter. The day is now longer to accomplish the task. But the memories and reminders of the darkness are never forgotten. The birthday of Jesus was thus associated with the birth of Capricorn and the birth of our highest selves. The myth of Pan describes a dual deity of spiritual light and spiritual darkness who transitioned from human form into a fish tail as he entered the ocean. His birth was said to be a heralded event that delighted the immortals.   IXИYУ is the Greek word for fish and acronym of “Jesus Christ’s Son is Saviour”.The Christian faith denoted the fish as its occult symbol. The stories of Jesus are inherent to this symbol as it is said that his disciples were fisherman, he vowed to make ‘fishers of men’, the miracle of feeding five thousand listeners when he multiplied a child’s “five small loaves and two fishes.” The fish is the symbol that conveys ‘all things are possible with Jesus Christ, and the Capricorn sign has been antiquely ascribed as the archetype of the mythical incarnate and master potential with its midheaven reflecting our ultimate possibility. Pan was also denoted as the God of Shepards and Flocks and fertility.

The sweet pan flute the is played by Capricorn. She channels her sacred god pan for the secrets of the universe and the music of the spheres. She plays the tune that aligns with the cosmic sound of planetary orbit that has long been revered by indigenous cultures. She inhales the breath of god through the flute, and this was a great source of amusement for pan. Before the Catholics prayed with ‘our father’, the ancients chanted ‘oh breath’ for they knew that God’s love was accessible through our immediate conception. Pan preferred the fresh mountain air to the static of civilisation, and at their core the Capricorn longs to return to nature, find a tree of wisdom, to conquer that mountain, and just breathe. It’s easy for her to feel suffocated. Through pan’s flute she exchanges the flow of god into sounds of space. Pan was abandoned by his mother, and it relates to the theme of parents in the Capricorns life where in some form abandonment occurs, largely with the father. Doesn’t this sound familiar to Peter Pan? Who also played a pan flute, was orphaned, and resisted the mortality of Saturn and the everlasting return of light of life. She frees the musical talents of pan through the flute she plays that tunes a song heard only by the cosmos. This is why they hold her in such high and prestigious regard, Capricorn is adored by heaven because all symbolic forces united in loving vibration and preparation for her winter solstice birth
