Rare Original Tintype of 10th Infantry Union Officer  

Wearing epaulets and Hardee style hat with feather plume, 3/4 length frock coat with a single row of brass buttons that is buttoned to up to the neck. He wears shoulder scale style brass epaulets and a spread wing eagle belt plate. Bugle form hat badge with the number “10” encircled by the bugle (identifying the Officer as a member of a 10th Infantry Regiment). The Soldier is not identified in any other way.
