When I still had an eating disorder I would literally drink a bottle of wine for dinner, pass out, and work out in the morning still buzzed like it is insane to me how many meals I replaced with alcohol because it gave me the same full feeling
Muffin never makes dinner, and when he does it’s normally a dead mouse on the doormat. But lo and behold, I come home to this delicious display waiting for me. I think I’m getting proposed to tonight, you guys!!
Duo of Chicken: Roast Breast and Braised Thigh bridged in Red Wine Sauce, Sauteed Spinach, Cacciovallo Savory Bread Pudding
Went to St. Andrew’s (one of my assignments for restaurant row) today and had our Wine Lunch. Rather interesting because this is the first time I’m actually doing this whole thing, so it was kind of hard for me.
If anything though, I really want the recipe for the bread pudding because I would die happy eating it all day.
(Something to learn: The concept of bridging is pairing a wine with the same grape that it was made out of. For example, if you made a Chardonnay Beurre Blanc, you would pair it with a Chardonnay wine. In this case, Rosso di Montalcino made out of Sangiovese, a red grape from Italy. The wine we drank it with was of course, Rosso di Montalcino).
