Another few hours spent down at the allotment. My mum helped me out today. We had quite a bit of weeding to do and harvested some crops. The black currents are nearly ready and we picked the last of the strawberries. I tasted the pea pods and they are so sweet - another week and they will be perfect. My onions are huge and the beetroot is getting there. The purple clematis is stunning and the wild flowers are great home for all the bees buzzing around. I’m looking forward to seeing my squash plant grow (I’ve never grown squash before) We also potted up the runners on the strawberry plants so that all we have to do is cut them off the main plant once they have taken. We’re going back tomorrow to carry on weeding and tidying up. All in all a great productive day.
Back to work, with remnants of birthday love filling the room with beautiful aromas! So thankful for those who celebrate me because they were first celebrated by the Father; who love me because they were first loved by Him; who seek to challenge and inspire me because they were first inspired by Him. #feelin22
