I can feel it from here and it’s terrifying. Actually Sarah did it to me on your behalf last week and she’s not quite as intimidating as you but it was still effective.
Also I had some spaghetti when I got home.
Also also I forgot to reply to your message last night how rude and now I’m going to sleep I’m a terrible friend.
Also also also love you you are wonderful.
By the Goddess! IT’S FINALLY DOOOOONE! Like seriously, this owlie cushion has been a WIP (work in progress) for MONTHS and I literally spent the entire day sewing this bi…er…lovely thing together today, LOTS of swearing and unpicking etc. because I did not have a pattern, because I’m a poor postgrad student yada yada yada. But next time I try to make this I’m buying the freaking pattern and YOU CAN TOO! At http://www.etsy.com/nz/listing/153654228/maggie-the-african-flower-owl-pillow?ref=shop_home_feat
I was totally inspired by the original done by JOsCrocheteria (again, see link above).
I have a ridiculously talented friend by the name of Wendy (wigglesgurumi), who makes ridiculously cute shit. I keep telling her she should open an Etsy store. Look how adorable I am right now! You could be adorable too!
My moms Christmas present :)
I used a weird sized wool for the white edges and the whole owl not only turned out smaller, but landed up with little “wings” on the sides! Strange! I think she turned out well though :)
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but if the doctor’s cute, stuff the fruit! Yay now I can take apples to uni with me in my bag and they won’t get all bruised! Got the pattern for free from craftsy, it turned out a bit too small (see the one on the pear) so I made another bigger one…maybe the apples in NZ are bigger than where the pattern maker comes from!
Anyway, I have a cold at the moment, so maybe I should eat lots of apples? Crochet keeps my mind off the sniffles and sore throat at least :)
