why-do-ghouls-fall-in-love

Anyone else kind of annoyed with the treatment of villains in Monster High? I understand it’s a children’s show and there are a lot of themes of acceptance, but villains like Valentine/Whisp who have done legitimately terrible things seem to just have their wrongs brushed away as soon as they say “oh hey I’m good now”. Or the way the ghouls wanted Cleo to forgive Amanita for abandoning her family? It’s a bit disturbing to me.

okay so i’m watching ‘why do ghouls fall in love’ and

shitty monster high movie summaries
  • New Ghoul At School: Frankie has already fucked everything up and she’s literally 16 days old
  • Fright On: Monsters are racist but only because of normies making them racist?
  • Why Do Ghouls Fall In Love: Vampire steals souls for literally no reason. He doesn’t even get energy from them or anything he’s just a dick
  • Escape From Skull Shores: Creepy old guy kidnaps monster children to put on display at a freak show. Also some more pointless fish drama again because Gil and Lagoona have short term memory
  • Ghouls Rule: Holt and Jackson almost die cause once again, normies are being dicks, but everything’s cool again at the end guys
  • Friday Night Frights: All the guys have apparently forgotten about all the times the girls have kicked ass before
  • Scaris: Woman kidnaps children and makes them do all her work while they’re trapped in a dungeon. Meanwhile, the guys literally cannot function without the girls around
  • 13 Wishes: Howleen forms a cult
  • Frights, Camera, Action: Draculaura apparently can’t recognize her childhood best friend’s face. Bonus: Heterosexuality
  • Freaky Fusion: What
  • Haunted: Convict decides to carry out a complicated plan to get teenagers to work her debts to society off for her instead of just doing it herself (which would probably take just as much effort to be honest)
  • Boo York, Boo York: Soap opera but with singing
