Do you not understand that because of Zude and their use of the word stupid, I will be calling my lover (if I had one) that as much as I possibly can. In my mind, “stupid” is now the equivalent of “babe” or “love.”
Snow was honestly rather thankful when she heard a bid come in. As much as she didn’t want to be a slave, she had even less interest in going to wherever the man who sold her took his rejected sales. She didn’t notice who had purchased her at first, her attention was on the man who had just knocked her to the ground. She was only made aware of whoever it was when they made their comment about not being a man who shares or he’d let him pay her back to the hit. Her eyes flew to the man. It was just similar enough to a prince she met once in the woods…. but something was off about it. Either way, she didn’t want Charming to see her like this.
Snow was rather thankful that he got her out of there. “Other than being cold and feeling violated, I’m fine.” She was a princess, whether or not she was a bandit. She was use to modesty. Even her bandit attire, despite having been a pants suit, gave her a large amount of modesty. These… rags… didn’t. And she didn’t even want to know when they changed her.
He nodded a bit, gently pulling her in closer and hugging her. “I’m sorry… We’ll get you cleaned up once we get back to the castle. I’ll sneak you in, nobody will have to see you until you’re ready. You can take a dress.” David had given up everything for this strange girl, so James was curious as to why. She was pretty, but he wasn’t seeing why she was worth losing everything over. But, he guessed that true love was just as stupid as it sounded. James helped her into the carriage, putting his jacket over her to help keep her warm. How did his brother manage to be this irritatingly pure all the time? Snow was gorgeous and he just wanted to skip right to the interesting part, but he wanted to keep this ruse going and that meant holding it back to be a gentleman.
