why so many lies

About the ship wars on this fandom (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫・*:.。. .。.:*・

Seriously guys, why don’t you just use your energy and love to create content to your OWN ship(s) and characters you like instead of using it to HATE and talk shit about the others??!!! Please??!! Thank you!!!??

I guess now, I understand why you hide your phone and only use it when you’re all
Alone. It makes you feel at home, more homely than when you’re around me… cause’ of course there’s things you don’t want these wondering eyes to see.

Why so many lies?
Could you count how many times I’ve cried and been deprived from … you? Promising me things that I knew you wouldn’t do. Caressing my heart and penetrating my memories so gently yet so deep, oh I wanted it so badly and you knew I wouldn’t speak. You only see my body, why be such a creep when you lie and say you love me but you only love what’s beneath.

Oh no girl, it’s “not like that” who am I? You’ll never know until I say the final goodbye. You’re cheating on me.. I am not her, I am she and her is nowhere close to being me. Karma will handle you, while I sit back and sip this tea. Please.

Hi! :) Do you know why so many people assume that Sebastian has wings in his true form? Just because there where so much black feathers when he showed it in the final episode of season 1 or is there any evidence in the manga that I overlooked? Greetings from south germany. Just asking in English so that others can read it, too. ;)

Hi! Ohh, auch aus dem heißen sonnigen Süddeutschland? ^^ Liebe Grüße zurück aus der gleichen Gegend! XD

Soo, back to your question. Yes, I think the anime is the reason why some assume that Sebastian has (black) wings. There was this scene where he fought Ash in his true form and all we saw were black feathers. Also, early on Sebastian was associated with a raven or a crow in the anime. I think the first scene of the anime shows him as such a bird.

In the manga, however, there is no evidence of any feathers (not that I remember, anyway). The glimpses we see of his true form there make it rather seem like he has some shadowy tendrils or so.

Notes: Hello! I’m Random and I’ve been lurking in the shadows long enough. Here’s my first foray into the Zestiria fanfic world!
Actually that’s a lie - I’ve been writing sormik fic for months, but I decided to post now since it’s Sormik Week! I’m super excited to share my writing and to see what everyone else has created.
This fic came from an experience I had with trying archery, but that doesn’t mean everything in here is entirely accurate ^^“ I hope it’s still enjoyable anyway!

you wonder why these filthy humans get so many chances. an average human lies 17 times a day, so they all sin at least 119 times a week. you sinned once and got thrown out, wings ripped off by the branches of that wretched, wretched tree. mea culpa.

you tried to go back up once, tried to build a tower, tried to reach beyond the clouds. you forget that the Lord your God is a jealous God, and he will never let you back in. it doesn’t matter that everyone suddenly started speaking different languages. you know what they were saying: usurper, usurper, usurper. you let yourself drop to the dust. mea culpa.

every week, you go to a synagogue, a temple, a mosque, a shrine. you don’t know if you exist in all their stories, but you go anyway. if no one is to believe in you, then you will believe in yourself. the name of God burns in your throat. you think that maybe one day it won’t. you fall to your knees. mea maxima culpa.

#262: “I Never Lied About How I Felt About You...”

Luke:

“But that has changed? Hasn’t it?” You had been silent since he came into the bedroom, you barely flicked a muscle. You didn’t want to look at him, you just wanted to be alone but he didn’t seem to respect that. You didn’t even react when he gently sat on the bed and tucked under the sheets. “No. I’d never lie to you. No matter how much you hate me that’s one thing I can’t. You just have to understand that and let me in.” He explained ever so softly, his hand coming up to touch your arm just to get a little react. But nothing. “I won’t.” You whispered and cuddled the pillow closer to hide the tears. “Not now.”

Calum:

“Past tense. How nice.” You commented lowly from the end of the kitchen counter, eyes lowered to the ground and your lips in a straight line. You didn’t know what else to say but you could feel your temper boil by every second passing by. “Y/N I know this is messed up but please hear me out.” Your head shut up by his words, the plead was in his brown eyes but you didn’t give in. “No Calum, I’m fine.” You threw your jacket over your shoulder and headed towards the door in anger. “And you know what that means so no, don’t try to follow me.” You opened the door, “I want to be alone.”

Michael:

“… And you don’t even believe what I say… Great.” He shook his head in disbelief and ran a hand through his hair in frustration. He couldn’t believe it but yet again, he wasn’t shocked by your lack of trust. “You’ve lied so many times before why I am supposed to trust you now? After everything we’ve been through.” You blinked away the tears in your eyes, you didn’t want to show him the weak side. The thing he easily could wrap his arms around. “Because this is the most real thing I’ve ever tried in my life before.” He leaned down to gently lift up your chin, “And I mean it.”

Ashton:

“You never told me?!” You exclaimed loudly, looking over at him in disbelief. “You might have spoiled something when you were drunk but I always shrugged it behind because I didn’t want to believe that it was real.” He looked down at his feet in shame, his teeth digging onto his bottom lip. “It was real. You have no idea how long I waited for you to realize what was going on.” Your mouth opened but there was nothing to say, at all. Your mind was completely erased, you couldn’t think of anything. “I uh-, I have to leave.” You mumbled under your breath and turned around before he could get the chance to say anything to his defense.

ok I just got through the 4th trial. Ouma backing Gonta into a corner so viciously was... kinda scary. The entire time, he takes the lead, even more prominently than Saihara. At one point he literally says 'so, the culprit is Gonta.' Later on, he meticulously clears everyone of suspicion until only Gonta remains. His aggressive demeanour is scary and also pretty sad, bc the others would never accept the truth otherwise. Idk what I want out of this ask, I just wanted to get that off my chest lol

The Chapter 4 trial hurts so much. Much of the misinformation that was floating around about it at first caused people to feel bad for one character or the other who was involved, but I find myself still feeling pretty miserable for every character involved: Miu, Gonta, and Ouma all got a super shitty hand in that trial, and it’s true that none of it would have happened without the killing game itself prompting this kind of tragedy.

The trial itself is absolutely bone-chilling and features some of the most incredible voice-acting moments in the whole game (in my opinion), and the points at which Ouma starts pressing are…pretty damn terrifying. There were a lot of scenes prior to this where I’d already been thinking of ndrv3 and Ouma both in very Umineko terms, but this was the trial that pretty much cemented it for me, because there was almost nothing more Umineko-like than watching Ouma have to shoot down every single possibility with his own “red truth” in order to force the group to accept that Gonta was the culprit.

Your post... Exactly! This is us had so many lies. I don't understand why people suddenly think this one is all genuine and true like please -.- i mean every single time there are cameras it's not genuine!! It's controlled and to pass certain messages. And he said he had a relaxing time away from everything but then there were cameras... And if people think it was just cal with a small camera... Lmaooo

it’s like the story of the album according to the narrative they chose to sell it. it’s something every single artist does, beyonce did it like 300 times and i doubt everything she said was the holy truth. and they pushed certain things, they sell certain images and yeah it’s annoying as fuck when it’s like ‘everyone but louis, louis is the only one harry doesn’t talk to’ especially because there is a part of this fandom that actually BELIEVES IT , but if you think about it if they didn’t have something to hide, they would have never done it this way. They still do it this way and they have been for the past 7 years so this should tell you something. Also H&L situation is delicate and complicated especially now so I don’t know what people want from themLike Harry pretended to sleep in Ben Winston’s attic during This is Us they even filmed him at his home to convey the message even if we all knew the truth, and people are still here saying that harry’s behind the album documentary is a piece of authentic truth and only truth when it’s just the video version of each interview he has to do to promote the album. nothing less, nothing more.

Forget the myths you have heard about radical feminism, for only some of them are true. Instead, prepare to think about why so many lies are told about this particular brand of feminism, how it acts as a scapegoat for all that is most threatening about our social movement and how any revolutionary movement for change could really ever be anything but threatening. These are the women you were warned about; you can be too.

Alison has lied about the night that Charlotte was killed at least twice already. First she claims that they stayed up late talking, went to bed, everything was fine and dandy. She later admits to Rollins that Charlotte stormed up to bed, angry and hurt, after Ali confessed that she was seeing her doctor. Finally she tells Aria what is apparently the truth - that Charlotte left the house in fury and that Ali followed her, but left when Charlotte told her to.

Why exactly are we supposed to believe this? She’s lied so many times already. We’ve seen flashbacks on this show before that have been falsified. And after all, a lie does sound better than the truth…
