why is he reminiscing the past now

oooo jemima so much is happening

Mark is acting unusually suspicous and clearly planning something, dammit he told us about it himself. Also the random livestreams, weird voices talking in his videos, the whole van situation, something’s brewing alright

Thankfully Jack is acting normal! He looks so great back in his brown hair, just like the old times lmao. And he’s playing forest again? Dude, what a throwback! Just like two years ago!

I mean I’ve read about this whole back in time theory, but that’s just silly, right? Why would he want to remind us of the past and go back in time? Nah, that ain’t Anti’s style, to reminisce of the old days, right? Especially at the same time when Mark is planning on fucking us up in some way.

Fallen for you

Request: Jeff x reader have been best friends since they were 10 and Jeff confesses his feelings. ***fluff and cuteness overload🙌🏼 —————————————————–——————– You and Jeff have been best friends for about eight years now. Eight fucking years. Seems long but it never felt like it. It feels like yesterday, when some rude boys who you now know as Marcus, Zach and Justin( your low-key lovely friends) kicked a ball straight at your head, and a cute little kid with his big blue eyes came to help you. You never thought that kid would turn out to be your best friend, but it did. Gosh, sometimes you feel that why couldn’t you both be more than just best friends. Well, right now wasn’t the time to think of all this. You could reminisce the past later. Today, your best friend Jeff was taking you to a Los Angeles Dodgers base ball game. That was the second thing that connected both of you. Since he age of 11, you both supported the same team. Loyal fans you know. You picked up your phone to call Jeff when you got a text. Jeff Rider : {I’m outside Rupanzel ,hurry up😊} He called you Rupanzel because he said that the first time he saw you, you reminded him off her. Even though your hair was brown but still. So when the actual Disney Rupanzel came out, you saved him as Jeff Rider (Flynn Rider) just to take the piss. You both were goals. (Jeff’s POV) “Ready for the game, Rupanzel” I said and (Y/N) just nodded your head in excitement. God she looks so beautiful. “We are going to have so much fun” she said and I couldn’t agree more. I was about to do something special today. Something that even I didn’t think I would do. (30 mins later) “OMG Jeff, you better get catch today” (Y/N) and I just stared at her. Everything about her was so perfect. She was so balanced, girly yet like a lad at the same time. “ Don’t worry Rupanzel, I’ll defo catch one for you” I said as she laughed and cheered the team. I’m nervous but it’s now or never. Everyone’s been telling us that we’re goals, we look cute together and that we’re meant to be. I couldn’t help it. Everyone constantly saying all of this and (Y/N) amazing self made me fall for her. Fall for her so damn hard. It’s been like three years since I’ve realised that I really like her. She’s always been special but something just clicked which made me realise that she’s the one. (Your POV) He’s so cute. Taking care of everything. Got me food, cold water, a cap to protect me from the sun. Heck, he even got me sunscreen. Can he get any better? But there’s something weird about him. He seems to quite for a baseball game you thought. You didn’t want to ask him but you were getting worried, you thought something was wrong. “What’s up Jeff?” You said as Jeff looked up form that gray, dusty ground. “Nothing (Y/N)” he said and started looking at the game, acting like he’s worried wether the team will make a home run or not. “Atkins, you just called me by my first name and not Rupanzel! Wtf is up with you? I’m worried” you said. He started going red, mumbling and fidgeting. It took him a good five minutes before he could say anything. “I..um… I need t…to say something.” Jeff said and you just nodded letting him know that you’re there to listen. “ but promise me you won’t punch me cause I don’t know how you’ll react” he said chuckling and you just lightly punched him in the shoulder. In your head you had thought that he has done something stupid like got a girl friend and you were ready to cry. “I like someone” he blurted out. You just stared at him waiting for him to tell you who it is. You were boiling form the inside. You don’t know if it was the anxiety, anticipation or just your heart breaking. “I’ve liked her for a long time now. She’s this perfect girl and I know she understands me and I understand her. We’ll be perfect for each other” he said with a grin on his face. My days you were so angry and upset. You were thinking of all the girls he spoke to. Sheri, Jess, Bonnie, Betty, Amanda or even worse Jenny. But you were his best friend too, so keeping your feelings aside all you said was “ Go for it Atkins, get her” but your heart break was visible on your face. “ It’s a HOME RUN” said the commentator and you were about to turn around to cheer acting like nothing happened. It was then Jeff grabbed your wrist, turned you towards him and locked his lips with yours. You were surprised but then kissed him back. The kiss was soft, sweet and everything else you ever imagined. “ God I’ve waited for this day for so long” said Jeff as he backed off. You were still in your la la land thinking this is one of your day dreams. “ So that means I’m the girl-” before you could finish Jeff gave you an other peck. “Who else idiot?” He said. “You’re the only one who understands me and I understand you” said Jeff which made you blush. “So will you be my girlfriend?” said Jeff and this time you kissed him letting him know that it was always a YES from your side. —————————————————–

62 for todomomo?

62 | “It’s only one night. We’ll just share the bed.”

Pairing: Todoroki Shouto/Yaoyorozu Momo

What was she doing.

Just earlier that same morning, Momo had received a message from none other than the Endeavor Hero Agency, telling her that she was needed on a job.

She was to be partnered with her ex-classmate, Todoroki Shouto, as they needed to gather information on a villain that was currently on the loose. She and Todoroki hadn’t talked to each other for a little over a year. The last time she saw him was the day they had graduated from U.A.

So now, as she read through multiple papers about the villain, sitting on the edge of the light brown couch in the middle of the living room of the hilariously tiny apartment, she wondered if he felt just as awkward as she did.

Todoroki sat just a little away from her, his eyes on his phone as he scrolled through a digital copy of the files.

“H-how have you been, Todoroki-san?” she asked timidly in an attempt to break the ice. He had just arrived to their safehouse about fifteen minutes ago, and had used the time to get himself settled.

Now, he looked up from his cellular device, his eyes cold and distant. “I’ve been well. What about you, Yaoyorozu?”

“I’m doing okay.”

They were set to stay in this apartment for two days. Two days in which they had to constantly work and gather information using the multiple files set out for them by the Endeavor Hero Agency. Momo wasn’t completely sure why Todoroki had even taken the assignment from his father’s agency, since he was currently working as an independent. To be honest, she had only taken the job once she heard about Todoroki being her partner.

She shook her head. There was no need to go reminiscing about her stupid past crush on the boy. They were adults now. Adults who had a job to do.

“Did you find anything?” he asked, startling her. She looked up from the papers, shaking her head.

“No,” she muttered. “The villain has a dirt throwing quirk, but that’s all I’ve found so far.” She paused, considering her own words. “That probably means they have good eyesight, too, right? To be able to see through that much dust is no regular feat.”

He hummed, nodding in agreement. “That’s a good point,” he said, turning back to his phone. “I didn’t think of that. Well done.”

She blushed, but of course he couldn’t see her. Momo stole a glance at the large clock in the middle of the room, almost gasping at the time.

“It’s getting late,” she said, sliding the papers off of her lap and stretching her arms up into the air. Todoroki stared at her for a minute, making her shyly look away. “We should… we should go to sleep. We have a long day of research ahead of us.”

He nodded again, clicking his phone shut and beginning to stand up. Momo reached down for the spare comforters and sheets near the foot of the couch, picking them up and cradling them in her arms and spraying them out over the sofa.

“What do you think you’re doing?” he asked, lifting an eyebrow.

She faltered. “I’m… making my bed?”

He shook his head. “No you’re not. I’ll take the couch. You can take the real bed inside the bedroom.”

Of course he would want to be the gentleman. “It’s okay,” she insisted, curling her legs into herself. “Go ahead and take the bed. I’ll be perfectly fine out here.”

He didn’t say anything for a few seconds, instead averting his gaze to her face. She looked back at him, searching for any sign of resistance. When she found it, she sighed, knowing he wasn’t going to let up.

“Well… it’s just one night,” she started, fiddling with the sleeves of her top, “we can just… we’ll just share the bed.”

It spilled out of her before she could even think about it. Todoroki’s eyes went wide and his jaw went a little slack as he gawked at her, seemingly lost for words. Oh no. Why did she say that? Now Todoroki was going to think she was a complete and utter fool. She wouldn’t have even blamed him if he just packed up his bags and left right at that-

His words almost knocked her out cold. Her head snapped in his direction, her mouth falling open to gape at him.

“I mean,” he started again, “it’s better than the couch.” He leaned forwards to lightly flick his finger on the hard surface of the sofa. “Full offense, but my father didn’t really pick out the best place for this.”

Momo gulped. She hated to admit it, but he was right.

So when she climbed into the left side of the large queen-sized bed later that night, her phone peacefully charging on the nightstand next to her head and her pajamas warm against the freshly made sheets, Todoroki laid besides her, his hands folded neatly behind his neck as he stared up at the ceiling. He looked like he was in deep thought, and Momo didn’t blame him.

“Are you comfortable?” he asked her, his voice softer than it was before. “I can move if you’d like.”

“No. N-no I’m fine,” Momo whispered in return, rolling onto her back and clutching the blankets to her chest.

He nodded, and closed his eyes. Momo stole a heavy glance at him, still not sure exactly what to say.

“You know,” he started, making her jump in surprise. “It was my choice for who was going to be assigned on this mission.”

Her blood ran cold. “What?” she questioned, tilting her head to meet his gaze evenly. “What do you mean?”

Todoroki sighed, scooching into the bed so his entire body, save for his head, was underneath. “I mean. My father gave me a list of pro heroes he wanted me to work with. I saw your name, and asked for you.”

“Why?” She had to know. It was too surreal for her to even properly digest.

“I’ve always admired you,” Todoroki said, his eyes not wavering away from the ceiling. “I thought working with you would be a good choice for me.” He paused. “Plus, I wanted to see you again.” He turned to look at her bright red face and parted lips. “It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”

Oh she was so screwed. She was so screwed.

“I-it really has,” she forced out, eyes darting away from him.

They didn’t exchange any other words that evening, and Momo was grateful for that. Instead, they continued to look up at the roof of the apartment, lost in their own thoughts, the gentle hum of the outside world quietly lulling them to sleep.

Discussions of a soft Clyde Logan au with @kyloholic pt 1?

a/n: this isn’t even all of it I just got so tired editing it’s very time consuming, so here’s a good chunk of it

You were the girl he always had a crush on in high school, maybe even loved you but you had a crush on his brother so he always felt like he had no chance with you. He was awkward and gangly, while you were beautiful and smart. You were always nice to him, and it meant you were the only one that he had ever fallen in love with

When high school ends you move away but one day you come back just around after the heist. You end up going to the bar and you don’t even recognize Clyde, he’s changed so much since you left this small town to go to college in NY. Gone are the gangly limbs, he’s filled out a lot and his shoulders are impossibly broad. He’s grown out his hair too, to cover his ears that stick out.

When he first sees you his heart flutters, he knows who you are instantly but since you don’t recognize him he doesn’t know how to talk to you. He’s always felt shy when it came to you.

Eventually you do recognize him and oh my god he’s grown up from the kid you knew in high school, so much that he’s even more handsome than his brother at this point. He’s so much more of a man than you remember and it makes you blush.

Pennywise x Female Reader | the lamb who runs with tigers | part ½

Warnings: none for this part rlly

Notes: This has been sitting on my hard drive for more than a month, and I’m really struggling with writer’s block right now but I wanted to be able to offer you guys something new so hopefully this is the kick in the pants I need. If you requested something from me, it is being worked on, I’m just having a rough go of completing it. I’m working on a request for a chubby!reader x Pennywise and I’m stuck, but it’ll be the next thing I post once I actually fucking finish it.

Anyway, here’s the first part of my little origin story for Pennywise/Derry?

You die on a brisk October evening in 1801 at the age of 44, half a continent away from Derry, and exactly 27 years after your fateful encounter with him. You’re in the parlour with your feet on the hearth, sipping an aged brandy when a peculiar aroma impregnates the air. It’s a sickening combination of burning sugar and rot; a smell reminding you of restless nights in the dank darkness, and a haunting fulvous gaze.

His presence electrifies your nerves and you sense him behind you. Remaining focused on the flames, you absently take a hearty nip of alcohol before placing it on the table. Dread settles deep in your bones, and you face forward as the monster who’s frequented your austere nightmares in recent years lurks in the yawning shadows. The closer his awakening drew, the worse the phantasms became. These days you barely sleep a few hours a night, too busy worrying and preparing.

It’s strange to be with him again after all this time. You’ve changed, no longer that scared little girl tossed into the belly of the beast, and so has he. You feel it in your blood. He’s more dangerous now than ever before.

“Hello, Pennywise. I was wondering when you’d show up. I read the articles, you’ve improved.”

The spectral presence shifts, filling the empty spaces. Cotton fills your ears and an unpleasant chill creeps across your body. It spreads through your veins and hollows out a home deep inside the fibre of your being. He can play his games and use his tricks but you know better. No illusion, no matter how crafty, will make you forget the tiger prowling the room. Its sight fixes on you, the sacrificial lamb.

A long finger emerges and twines around a wayward curl atop your head. His geniality is brief. Before long a harsh hand dives into the wreath of dark hair and yanks back. The brutality isn’t surprising, though expecting pain and experiencing it are two separate things. Knowing the ending of this story doesn’t soften the blow. If anything it intensifies the ache in your chest.

“Someone’s been a naughty girl,” says a discordant voice, filled with an empty joviality. Teeth close around the shell of your ear and pain burns a path through the side of your face. “Very naughty indeed.”

Gripping the armrests, you bare your teeth. “I couldn’t stay, not after everything that happened. I needed to move on with my life, to get away and start again.”

Hmm, I’m really trying to get Heartlines ch5 done soon - I’m not sure it’ll be up for next Sunday, but maybe the following Wednesday? That said, here’s a little peek at the next part of The First Breath. It’s the start of the story (I’ll probably clean this up a little and expand upon it):

Eh… very brief mention of an abusive mother? Think that’s the only trigger here.

It still amazed Andrew that he not only had his own apartment to call ‘home’, a large loft with a freezer stocked with multiple pints of ice cream and a cabinet with liquor and the entire place warded to keep out almost everyone, but that he shared the place with Neil. That when he returned to a space that wasn’t just a building where he was staying for a certain amount of time but where he felt safe and content and had made it his own, there was a gorgeous idiot waiting for him with a bright smile.

A gorgeous idiot waiting for him with a bright smile while stretched out on their bed with two cats, with more cats curled up all through their home.

Iron Bars // Warren Worthington

Guess who’s back, back again, Els is back, tell a friend

anyway I thought you might like this one and I was feeling really emo over Warren today so this happened lol:))

-Els x

Iron bars. Twelve of them. Perfectly aligned, reaching from the floor to the ceiling and covering the small perimeter of the cell. The metal was cold against Warren’s pale fingers as he gripped the bars tight as if his life depended on it, he had memorised every detail in the confined space he was forced into only hours ago. A plain white ceiling and a plain white floor, covered in dust and a large brown stain in the corner of the room that he had yet to discover what it was, but he was pretty sure it was blood. There wasn’t even a stool for Warren to rest his fatigued limbs. He wasn’t supposed to be there.

The deafening echoes of his cellmates yelling, screaming and fighting had now become white noise to him and the smell of sweat that clouded his senses every so often almost made him gag. Warren couldn’t imagine what he must look like now, his hair was a tangled, curly blonde mess on his head, with pieces if broken glass still digging into his scalp and his arms littered with fresh scrapes and angry red bruises. His wings that were once white were now crippled, with dried blood that was not long ago seeping from the skin on his back. He was sure he would never fly again. Not that they’d let him anyway, as far as he knew, Warren would be looking these iron bars for the next few years.

This wasn’t supposed to happen. Warren had gotten into one of his moods, as you liked to call them. They usually occurred when you two would have a fight or late at night after a bad nightmare when he would reminisce his past, the iron cage in Berlin that he believed somehow looked the same as the cell he was locked in now had forever haunted his dreams and kept him awake at night. Some days were worse than others, but this time, he knew he had taken it too far.

It was a small fight that he had blown out of proportion, his insecurities getting in the way as they always had when it came to you. A small remark that Peter had made about your relationship suddenly had him questioning why on earth you were with someone as wrecked as him. He was the one with wings, but you were the Angel.

He had left you, just like that, and he did what he always did when he was angry or upset. He drank. It was a crowded bar, the memories of what happened were still vague when he tried to recall them. Warren didn’t even remember the face of the man that he had gotten into a fight outside the bar with or even why he had thrown the first punch, but he knew that the man had come off much worse than he did.

He hated himself for this, he hated himself for being this fucked up and insecure. Warren always tried to believe it was because of his past and the horrific images that would flash through his head very time he closed his eyes but now he was wondering if it really was his fault. You had always told him to open up, that maybe if he told someone about his past that it would help, you had even suggested a therapist, but being the asshole that he is, he always declined and shrugged it off before continuing to suck you into the shitshow that he called his life. It was always his fault.

Warren knew he had to get out of there. He knew that he had to find you and apologise for everything. He couldn’t imagine how you must be feeling now. He wondered if you knew where he was, he could practically see the look on your face when Charles would tell you, that they had found him. That he was in a bad state and was thrown in a cell without a choice. Warren imagined your face changing from hope to disappointment. He couldn’t even begin to count how many times he had disappointed you.

Suddenly, Warren was awoken from his trance when he heard loud footsteps coming from down the hall. His initial thought was to grab whoever it was that was about to pass him and strangle them until they let him out. But that was then he heard it.

The soft angelic voice that had soothed Warren since the moment he first heard it, he only had to hear a few words to recognise the voice immediately. Once the figure came into full view he straightened himself out, removing his hands from the bar and dropping them by his sides in shock.

You always seemed to look flawless, even with your tired eyes and stressed expression that was most likely caused by the man stood behind bars in front of you. Your hair was a mess, still in the same messy ponytail since he last saw you, the image of tears streaming down you face as he left you at the mansion’s front door still fresh in his mind. You studied each other’s faces for a moment, taking in both of your dishevelled features once again as if you were old friends before Warren broke the ear-piercing silence.

‘I know.’ You said softly, ‘Charles is outside, he’s gonna get you out of here, okay?’ You stepped closer and put your shaking hand on the railings of the bar, flinching slightly when he placed his bruised ones on top of yours and leaned his forehead against it, sighing quietly.

‘I probably should have listened to you when you said about the therapist,’ Warren whispered with a soft laugh.

‘Yeah, probably,’ You smiled ‘I’m just glad you’re okay. I really thought I lost you this time, Warren,’ You sighed and looked down, the pieces of hair that had fallen out of your ponytail covering your face, making Warren’s heart sink even more.

‘Baby, I’m- ‘

‘I know,’ You said reassuringly ‘But not now. Let’s go home first, I need a hot bath and some pizza,’ you smiled, and so did he.

‘Okay. Let’s go home.’

The title of the book Sanji is reading is <Norland, the King of Liars>. The thick book beside him is <the Encyclopedia of the Devil’s Fruit>.

Goda’s foreshadowing ability strikes again…!

That aside, it makes my heart ache to think that one probable reason why Sanji was so into reading books when he was a child was because he had no one to ‘play’ with… and he made food for mice also because he had no one else to cook for… *crying my eyes out*

Going back to chapter 227 where Sanji first revealed that he was from North Blue and that he had heard of Norland before… I understand Sanji’s smile here as he talks about Norland from a new light now that we know more about his past. That fairy tale must’ve been a true source of comfort in his terribly painful and lonely childhood, judging by the way he smiles reminiscently at the mention of it and doesn’t even shy away from telling everyone that he’s from North Blue.

And what about Sanji’s wish to eat the Suke Suke No Mi? I’ve written about this theory here, and now I’m quite certain that the original reason why he wanted that fruit was because he wanted to hide from his abusive family. His reason for wanting it might’ve changed… uh, to a more perverted thing as he grew up, but I don’t think peeping on naked women was his most earnest desire when he was a kid at least.

Miyong pov

She looked at Jonging, who was curled up on her lounge chair with her run down copy of Twilight in his lap. “You look really engrossed in that.”

“Shh.” He mumbled, flipping the page, it made her snicker lightly as she stirred through the sauce in the pan. He’d been here with her for about a week now, she’d gotten so used to it. His presences, his groggy voice in the morning, his soft laughter in the afternoon, and hushed whispers in the night. Jongin was such a calm person, and living with him like this was easy. He helped her out around the house, cuddled with her on the couch, or sat in the chair quietly reading a book.

summary: reminiscing with calum and how much he adored his past lover.

word count: 629

warnings: mentions of death

“What was she like?” You weren’t sure why you brought the topic of her up, but the question was blurted out of your mouth before you could even think about it. Though, you had thought of it for a while, now was just the time you actually asked him the question.

Calum looked down at you, raising his brows in confusion. “What was who like, baby?” He continued playing with your hair, twirling the strands in his rough fingers absentmindedly. Your head was slightly getting heavier in his lap, but he didn’t mind since he could have all the time in the world to admire you.

“Her. Emilie,” You said cautiously, your words causing Calum’s hands to stop their actions.

I'm kinda interested in what you think , newt would be like under the influence of alcohol. Like I don't see him being a person to really drink but just IF he would get drunk? Would you consider writing about that?

I do consider! And you know what, I did!
Warning: Little long…I ramble (oops)

Newt was never much of the partying type. In all honesty, he was a bit intimidated by the ones who were. At Hogwarts, the other wizards went to the Yule ball or went on expeditions to Hogsmeade, while he would stay behind and spend time with his creatures.
He didn’t mind, of course. He always found himself more at home with creatures than humans, so a Friday night at home with Pickett was better than any night out at a pub.
But he knew he couldn’t stay that way forever, and he realized he had to step out of his comfort zone when you asked him to your favorite muggle pub in the city.
He had fancied you ever since your first day at the ministry, and he admired everything about you. He admired how gentle you were with his creatures and how naturally they seemed to act around you as well. He admired how you would actively speak out for the rights of magical beasts, and although they often went unheard to the public, he took every single speech of yours to heart.
But you never seemed to notice how hopelessly in love with you he was, and it broke him a little more every day.

That was until last night, when you finally asked him out, and Newt, being the hopeful little fellow he is, was sure this would be the night when everything took off between you two. Your first date.

Just…why did it have to be around alcohol?
He was never a fan of drinking, honestly, he never really saw the appeal.
However, he didn’t want to come off as a prude on your first date, so he thought, why not? It’s only one night.
He suddenly found himself at the steps of the “Mayflower”, a few minutes tardy thanks to the raging snowstorm. He knew you would be on the other side of that door, probably dressed so beautifully it would make him weak in the knees. He prepared himself and took a deep breath.
He then pushed open the wooden doors, and immediately found you at the bar, laughing and talking to another man. What little confidence he had left him as he realized, this was, in fact, not a date.
His heart sank a little bit, but he approached you anyway.
“(Y/N)” he tried to pull your attention from Nick, waving a little bit, and collecting his hands in his lap.
Your eyes flickered over to him, and they immediately lit up.
“Newt! Hey, you made it!” The enthusiasm in your voice made his heart skip a beat.
“O-of course I did” he chuckled. “I’m sorry, who is this?”

Your attention flashed back to the man you were talking to, then smiled.
“Oh, this is Nick! We use to go to school together. We were all in the same year at Hogwarts, yet never knew each other. Isn’t that fascinating?” she pointed to the frighteningly muscular man, who in Newt’s opinion, had a rather silly haircut and poor taste in fashion.
“Yes that’s very fascinating” he muttered, then took a seat next you, opposite of ‘Nick.’
“Oh, we already ordered,” He stated, and Newt breathed a sigh of relief.
“Oh, that’s very ok, I-”
“It’s alright, I’ll wave him back over here!”

“…don’t like to drink” Newt finished, so quietly no one could hear him.
He shifted in his seat uncomfortably, not even knowing how to order at a pub.

Maybe he should just go home, he thought, he needed to check on the Occamies.

He shoved a hand into his pocket, and was about to stand from his seat when he met your eyes, and suddenly, he forgot why he ever wanted to leave in the first place.
“Sounds great”
Four shots of some strange brown liquor later, Newt wasn’t feeling so good. The waiter kept bringing them out, and he kept drinking purely out of peer pressure. He didn’t feel anything at first, which is why he agreed to so many.
You and this ‘Nick’ guy were reminiscing over your past Gryffindor days, exchanging ‘hilarious’ stories about your classes and adventures, ones that he obviously couldn’t empathize with.
So he took two more shots.
Now he was starting to feel dizzy, and with that, rather not himself. Any anxiety or crippling fear of rejection he previously held onto suddenly vanished into thin air.

It felt good, he thought.
“And with that, I’ve got to run.” Nick said, glancing at the wall clock behind the bar. Newt felt himself looking up at the man, a smile creeping onto his lips.

“Yes, yes very nice of you to join us! I very much look forward to our next excursion together, just you, me, and the lovely (Y/N). Godspeed my good man!” Newt shoved his empty shot glass from his hand, and shook Nick’s rather roughly.
“Oh…alright” Nick was giving him a very peculiar expression, but turned his attention to you instead. Newt felt a pang in his chest, and his face twisted into a scowl.

“I truly look forward to seeing you again” he leaned down to kiss your hand, and lingered a bit too long for Newt’s liking.

Who is this woman, the Queen? Move along!

“Newt…good seeing you” he made sure to keep his distance from the drunken Brit, then exited the pub in a haste, leaving you and Newt alone at the bar.

Once Nick was out the doors, your expression hardened, and you looked at Newt in concern.

“Newt, how much did you drink?” your voice was low.

“I’m not so pip-poppity sure…but there was this-” he paused for a hiccup.

“Pardon me! Anywho, there were these tiny glasses with this strong, brown liquid in them! Did you know these small glasses could hold so much pleasantry?”

“Alright that’s enough of an answer for me. I’m bringing you home.” You take a couple bills from your wallet and place it on the counter under your coaster.

Newt, sensing the change in atmosphere, frowned deeply and pouted.

“B-but I don’t want to leave! We’ve been having such a lovely evening, I would hhhhate for it to come to an end over something so s-s-silly.” you laugh as Newt slurred out a string of wordy dialogue.

“Our night isn’t ending, we’re just taking it to the next location! I know that you’ll find your flat far more enjoyable than this sweaty little pub.” You smile as you place a hand on his shoulder. Newt was staring back at you, then pressed his cheek against your hand, nuzzling into it like a cat.

“Y-yes…I do like that idea”

You helped him out of his chair and stagger through the doors, into the freezing London night.

“Is there anyone around?” you ask pointlessly to the wasted man beside you.

You take out your wand, and apparate the two of you to his flat.

“Here we are” you breathe, and you remove your arm from under Newt’s shoulder.

Newt, suddenly feeling the lack of your presence, slumped on the couch and lied down.

“Will you stay with me?” he asked, voice full in sensitivity.

You looked back at him, surprised from the sudden call of affection.

“Will you stay here tonight? I’ll even make us some tea, we’ll have a lovely evening!” he began to stand, but immediately crashed back down onto the sofa.

“A-actually, can you make it? I’ll assist you by sending good thoughts and positive anecdotes!”

You chuckle at the wizard, practically blacked out on his sofa and spitting nonsense.

“Of course I’ll stay here. Wouldn’t want you getting into any trouble, would we?” you turn your back to him to inspect the cupboard, finding more exotic herbs rather than food for humans.

“You know, a wise man by the name of Gandhi once said-” you cut him off with your own question.

“That’s great Newt, but do you mind telling me why there’s more creature than human food in your cupboard?”

He lifted his head slightly, but plopped it right back down again, gazing at the ceiling.

“I don’t have many guests around, my creatures are the most important things to me…well besides you of course.” you freeze, completely forgetting about your search for the tea bags. You turn, a confused look on you face.

“You think I’m important to you?” Newt giggled in response, as if it was the silliest question he’d ever heard. He then sat up, and hugged a cushion under his chin.

“Of course you are. You are the prettiest, smartest, kindest, and prettiest girl I’ve ever known.” you felt your face flush a deep shade of red.

“You already said pretty”

“That’s because it’s extra true”

“You need to go to bed Newt” you press, closing the cupboards and going to help him again, but he put his arm out, refusing.

“Don’t deny it! You’re one of the brightest, and most talented witches anyone’s ever known, and anyone who has the fortune to work with you knows it. Especially me” you listened to him ramble on and on, obviously not recognizing the severity of his veracity.

But you couldn’t stop a smile from forming.

“You really feel that way?” His glossy eyes met yours, then smiled warmly.

“I really do” then he yawned, and turned his head away from the harsh ceiling light.

He almost immediately fell into slumber, and you watched him happily as his chest rose and fell with every breath.

You weren’t sure if he was speaking the truth, or if it was the alcohol, but you did know one thing.

Newt was going to have one hell of a hangover tomorrow.

A Dream

Darkness was inviting to a being who craved the shadow. A Keeper to the very core, it was the shade of night where thoughts left to roam. Embraced by it save for the trickle of fire light, he laid on the bed and gazed towards the ceiling. Within the confines of his loft, he was free. Free to let his thoughts carry him off and dwell on distant memories. The sofa was often his choice place to fritter away, but the bed provided security and comfort he sorely lacked these days.

On the nightstand burned a cigar lit for the purpose to enjoy, but his interest to consume the tobacco was only a few puffs and a roll. The glass of whiskey was also left discarded where only a swallow remained at the bottom. Simple pursuits he often turned to for release failed to do their duty in giving him relief. The spiral of smoke that twisted and turned towards the ceiling was the only thing that provided some semblance of entertainment. Circles formed along with strange words, a twisting mist dance crafted by a cigar burn.  His imagination did what he willed the smoke to do in the passing minutes that turned into an hour. When that last wisp of smoke spiraled up, thoughts turned to dreams that carried him to slumber.

And the woods hid them all as they traversed through the shade of evening. Hush was the skittering of feet that traversed through leaves and wisped through the shadows. Quick and undetectable, they blended to their surroundings. Together they defended their domain with the piercing of arrows and the song of battle. Dusk and Midnight blue as the embodiment of twilight, yet the light of silver to their eyes was the homage of Menphina. Unbreakable was the code of their clan and woe to the trespasser that challenged that pact. Child of Her Eminence, bring forth a new era. Their bonding of hands joined in union a praise to Her glory until…

… until there was nothing.

A knock, that was all. It stirred him from his slumber. Why now of all times? Then again, perhaps it was needed. For nothing could come from reminiscing of times gone. The past was that and where it would stay, but the future was ever changing and so he was to move on. His tail, thick and feathery in midnight blues, twitched as the knock turned demanding. No matter how much he might have wanted that night off, there was no hiding from the demands of his life and the syndicate’s order.

The Keeper drained in a single swig and the cigar collected to be relit and enjoyed later. He rolled from the bed and quickly gathered his belongings; hat, coat, and a few trinkets for the voyage. He knew who lied waiting for him, that style of knock known by only one. Coat tossed over and hat now set, the door swung open as he gazed to his First Mate with a countenance that mirrored his partner. The two so alike that neither said a word. An exchange of dark looks and a swish of tails was their only form of greeting. With a nod done in unison and a slam of a door, they were off through the halls to pursue this evening’s ‘work’.

Some chapters ended on dreary notes and with little opportunity to change it. Not this time, he decided. This story was his for the claiming.

91 Days Novel (First) Translation - Prologue

The prologue is kind to fans of pretty much all characters and ships! :) At times, it was difficult to resist using certain viable yet easily misinterpreted translation options, but I’m pretty sure this novel has enough homoerotic undertones without me adding more. Yell out if you have any questions/corrections!

I think this is all I’m going to translate from the first novel - I’m happy to summarise ‘The Melancholy of Barbero’ if anyone wants, but I probably won’t have the time or motivation to translate it in full, at least in the near future.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Rewatching Natsume Yuujinchou made me understand the extent of what Natsume was feeling. Season 3 episode 4 is so important.

To have that dusty coat given to him so he wouldn’t say anything against the foster parents even though we damn sure saw this was covering up the abuse, it meant the world to him. If he is so enlightened by receiving that, and a hug from a cat to have him just smile again, it really does show how sad and devoid of care he really was to the point he didn’t even want to return home til the sun went down. To the point others didn’t provide consolation, only solitude.

And this, this really rips my heart out because he finally got this smile back again. He finally gets the care he was missing in childhood. He’s finally getting something he can reminisce about that he never could have before and he finally could open up without being shunned. It tells so much about healing from abuse and understanding that this show really has left a huge impact on me, hence why I’m in so many tears right now. It hurts, because Reiko could’ve had it the same or even worse. She very well was abused the same way if both of them hated them all and wanted to live by themselves far far away.

But Natsume is managing himself so well now. He’s trying to set both his and Reiko’s past right. He had a rock thrown at him again by Kai’s gang and called a liar, and despite all the shit people have done to him in the past, he still tries to go out of his way to help others so they wouldn’t suffer? This is such strong development because he has a reason to smile. I love this show. I love it so so much. Because it’s so special, you can’t help but feel healed too.

“I loved five other people before you.”

“What were their names?”

“Who, what, when, where, and why.”

Warnings: Fluff. Just fluff. Tooth-rotting, high blood sugar inducing fluff.

~Full transparency, this is heavily based on an old Wong Fu Productions sketch from back in the day before any of you older phans come for me in my inbox lmao.

It was early morning. The soft rustle of the sheets played in tandem with the fall and rise of their breathing and the first beams of light coming in through the window they had left open the night before, because they had fallen asleep to the stars.

Phil laid in bed pensively, having woken up a while before. He felt the weight and warmth of the body next to him and wrapped an arm over Dan’s torso as he placed a kiss to the man’s temple. “I love you.” He breathed. And it was to this that Dan stirred as well, returning the kiss against Phil’s cheek with a smile.

Episode 13 Goblin Review: My life must have been a reward because I met you

All the good feels and happy moments from the previous 12 episodes were completely swept away with episode 13 - I don’t even remember how it feels to laugh and smile anymore. This review is long (it was a 1 hr 25 min episode)

Shin was shocked how he didn’t realize that Wang Yeo was right in front of him all this time. GR was conflicted because 1) he was still trying to figure out who he really is and 2) it’s kinda harsh news to suddenly learn you’re the person who sent your friend and his family to their deaths 900 years ago. Hence, GR kept asking the same question over and over, “Was that young and foolish face mine, in the end?” Shin was tearful as he told GR that the heavens have and are still on his side because his memories were erased; therefore, GR doesn’t remember what he did, while Shin relives his memories everyday. Some people are saying that it’s immature of Shin to put the blame on Wang Yeo, but remember, Shin was human too and he was put into this situation because of Wang Yeo. When we’re angry, we do unimaginable things even if they are our loved one and, at this moment, Shin was lashing out all his locked up emotions for 900 years. Eun-tak was worried for both Shin and GR as she checked their rooms. When Shin returned home, he told her to pack because they are staying at DH’s house, but he noticed how she didn’t argue nor ask questions. Therefore, he realized that Eun-tak already knew the truth about GR (this probably hurt his feelings because his sister already hid the truth from him). But she gave a very thoughtful and considerate answer because she genuinely was thinking about his feelings and left it up to fate if it was truly meant for Shin to find out the truth himself, “But if you two had been fated to pass each other by, you would’ve done so. And if you two had been fated to meet, you would’ve met anyway.”

Poor DH was the only one who didn’t know what was going on. Eun-tak, being the considerate person she is, offered to stay with Sunny because 1) to give Shin a peace of mind about his sister (Shin can’t face Sunny at the moment with his current state) and 2) probably to give him time and space to think about the situation. It’s quite true what DH said about Shin just kicking out GR from the house, but like Eun-tak said, “Mr. Reaper has nowhere else to go,” and Shin wouldn’t kick out GR because 1) he’s his friend and 2) he’s Wang Yeo. The transition from Sunny to GR was beautiful as GR returned home to an empty house - just the same as he returned to an empty palace after killing Shin and his family. Sunny and Eun-tak talked about how her memories returned, but what’s important to notice is that even though her memories of being the queen are back - she is still the Sunny we know with her witty remarks. What Samshin said about lives is very significant to note in regards to reincarnation/rebirth, “Whether it be the first or forth, every single time is important.” Sunny said it was her fourth life because she knows of her previous lives and met her brother and lover again; Eun-tak said it was her first because she wants her second, third, and fourth lives to be with Shin. However, we really don’t know whether it is our first, second, third, or fourth life, therefore we should always treasure each life we have because who knows if we’ll be granted a second chance - that’s why Wang Yeo’s greatest sin wasn’t killing Shin and his family, but taking his own life

Shin was conflicted as he was trying to drink his worries away, but images of Wang Yeo and GR popped up in his mind because he could’t distinguish whether they are different or the same (Wang Yeo who wanted his death or GR who wants him to live). Joong Won and GR finally meet again; we learn that Joong Won is an evil spirit/demon who feeds on people’s dark emotions and he was the reason behind Eun-tak’s mysterious deaths (I was so mind-blown over this because it makes sense why death was “literally” hunting her in an abnormal way). This drama emphasizes the importance of names such as when GR demands Joong Won’s, but he refused while questioning GR if he even knows his own name. Personally, I think the reason why Joong Won survived this long was because his name wasn’t transcribed when he died, “That’s how I’ve managed to survive for nine hundred years now.” This second time, Shin reminisced the happy moments with GR. This is important because these were Shin’s true thoughts about GR, despite him being Wang Yeo, and I believe it was at this moment that Shin made a decision - that’s why he picked up GR’s call. If he was still angry, Shin wouldn’t have picked up. GR decided to face his past and confront Eun-tak about the sword, as well as, he asked her to give the ring back to Sunny since he has no excuse to see her because he “erased” her memories. Eun-tak didn’t give the ring right away to Sunny because Sunny was also trying to figure out, for herself, if the feelings she has are her’s or the queen’s

Sunny tried to convince Shin to move forwards from the past, though, Sunny’s answer to Shin remained the same about his decision in regards to Wang Yeo, “Go, Big Brother.” Shin replied that it will not be forgiveness for Yeo if he moves forwards and I think it’s because Shin already decided to forgive Wang Yeo - instead he wants Wang Yeo to understand that he is loved, he must fight, he must protect his loved ones, and he must live on in this lifetime. GR got punished for abusing his powers by the Investigative Agency of the Reaper department (about time this was addressed, I was beginning to wonder how he got away with breaking the rules). His punishment was the return of his erased memories after being tortured in hell for 600 years. After Shin’s and Kim Sun’s deaths, Wang Yeo’s “mental health” deteriorated as he grew up and was given a tonic by Joong Won to improve his health (obviously it was poison). In adulthood, Wang Yeo was seen improperly dressed, his hair messy, pale-yellow complexion (indicating sickness due to poisoning), and he was depressed. I think another reason why Yeo did not wear his complete royal robe was because white (in Asian cultures) symbolize mourning and perhaps he was in a state of forever mourning for Kim Sun; that’s why he drew her portrait. We finally discover how Samshin got the ring in her possession by asking Wang Yeo to give it to her - she probably knew that they will eventually meet again because Kim Sun will be reborn. Wang Yeo then burned the robes as an offering to Kim Sun and took his own life by drinking the remaining tonic, which was served by the maidservant (aka. lady grim reaper). The ironic thing is that Wang Yeo killed himself with his own ‘royal decree’ just as he killed Shin and his family with his ‘royal decree.’

Also, if you didn’t notice, one particular cup was shaking (it was a brown cup?) and I believe it might be the one Wang Yeo drank from when he erased his memories.

Finally, Shin and Wang Yeo truly meet after 900 years. In a fit of anger, Shin pushed Wang Yeo against the wall and grabbed him by the cuff to express 1) how Yeo failed to protect his people, his country, his woman, and himself2) how his sister died to protect him because she was his weakness, and 3) how he won’t kill Yeo because Yeo already atoned for it by taking his own life. Despite Shin holding this 900 yo grudge, none of his reasons were about being killed for “false treason,” but instead were about Wang Yeo’s life. Even though Shin is a goblin, he’s not perfect and is still susceptible to the “weak things” of humans that we call emotions. Shin’s mind was a chaos trying to distinguish between GR and Wang Yeo: are they different or the same? Now that GR’s memories returned, Shin was most angry at him for saying that he wanted to die, again, - this is selfish and inconsiderate of of Wang Yeo/GR. But we can’t entirely blame GR because he’s troubled about what he did and who he really is. Eun-tak returned the ring to Sunny and Sunny remarked how the regrets, sins, and loneliness of the ring were hers all along. When Sunny asked Eun-tak how she is related to her brother, I lost it when I read Eun-tak’s answer, “Because that’s my fate… I can make it rain a bit less. So that the citizens don’t have a hard time. And I can make the first snow of the season come by faster, too… to make the people of the world happier.” This represents Eun-tak and Shin’s relationship: how she makes him happy and he makes her happy. It also shows how she focuses on the positive aspects of their relationship and how she’s always thinking about others - especially when she told Sunny why they became the goblin and grim reaper, “Because the world needs miracles. Beautiful and strange miracles… Because life is a bit lonely since death exists.” Notice how these two descriptions of life and death compliment the roles by Shin and Wang Yeo. Shin, being the goblin, represents the miraculous things that makes life special, while Wang Yeo, being the grim reaper, represents the truth of death that makes life precious

I admire Eun-tak’s genuine selflessness - she immediately jumped in front of Sunny to protect her from Joong Won even though she was scared and was equally in danger. Joong Won hates Kim Sun because she was the reason why Wang Yeo changed. Her birthmark activated to protect her from Joong Won, but this confirmed to Joong Won that her birthmark was disappearing. I admire how Eun-tak continued to put up a strong face in front of Sunny, until she summoned Shin - she immediately rushed to hug him because he’s the only person that she can show weak emotions in front of (Eun-tak always puts a strong face in front of others because of her childhood, but he’s the only one who sees her weakness just as she’s the only one who sees him in his times of weakness). Shin noticed that her birthmark was faint and warned her to worry about herself - that someone else will protect his sister (referring to Wang Yeo/GR). Shin told her to wait two more days because God has asked him and GR a question of “fate” and they must find the answer themselves.

That’s why GR wrote the special case report for Park Joong Won; this being the first step for Wang Yeo to move forwards from his past and take an initiative against Joong Won who was a father figure to him. In front of Grandpa’s grave, GR warned Shin about Eun-tak’s death and Shin told him to protect Sunny from Joong Won. GR questioned why Shin stepped forwards that day despite knowing that it was going to be his grave and Shin finally told Wang Yeo the words he couldn’t say, “You’d received love from the former king, who’d been your half-brother, from my sister, who’d been your lover, and from me, who protected your Goryeo.” The reason why Shin kept walking forwards that day was because 1) he was going to die anyways, 2) if he didn’t step forwards then it would make the King look bad for accusing false treason on an innocent/loyal general, and 3) it was the only opportunity for Shin to “defy” his king after following all of his orders so that he can finally meet Wang Yeo face to face. All his life, Shin was and still is loyal to Wang Yeo. After telling GR his true feelings about the sword in his chest, Shin finally realized the true purpose of the sword: to kill Park Joong Won

I truly admire Yoo In Na for her performance of portraying a person split between her past and present. Throughout her day, GR followed her while watching her from a distance until they finally talk at the bridge - their iconic spot of their relationship. Bridges have symbolically represented two things in literature and mythology: 1) the transition between life and death and 2) overcoming a challenge/obstacle. Their relationship is truly a challenge, but they both took a step forwards: GR not forcing her to choose and Sunny breaking up with him. Sunny revealed to GR that her memories were never erased because all the sad memories were happy - showing that in both Kim Sun and Sunny love Wang Yeo & GR for who they are. When Sunny called him “Kim Woo Bin,” this confirmed how Sunny loves GR not because he’s Wang Yeo, but because he is his own person. The differences this time around are 1) GR didn’t force the ring on Sunny’s finger unlike when Wang Yeo forced on Kim Sun and 2) Sunny chose to live happily unlike when Kim Sun chose to die happily. Shin, knowing that he’s going to die, took Eun-tak on one last trip to enjoy time together. Eun-tak hugging Shin’s back, his head on her lap while she caressed his face, him presenting the contracts, and her jumping on him and kissing him to get the original one while they both laugh… But the final blow to my heart was when Shin broke down crying while reading the contract, thinking about Eun-tak, and how there is such a thing as forever sad love because he wants to live. T.T

Shin visited DH and Sunny and wished them only happiness - I cried when he wished for Sunny to have a great life as HERSELF! Thus him acknowledging that she is not only Kim Sun, but also Sunny too. And lastly, he went to wait for Eun-tak in front of the stairs. As she walked towards him, all he could do was gaze at her while engrossed with her smile; he then tells her his plan concerning Joong Won. But the next scene!! IT’S THE SCENE WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR BUT I CAN’T TRULY INDULGE IN IT KNOWING WHAT’S HAPPENING NEXT. Shin instructed her to summon him right away once he calls her, but right as Eun-tak thought he already left… HE CAME BACK AND KISSED HER SO PASSIONATELY, INTENSELY, AND DEEPLY! OMFG… LOOK AT THIS KISS! This kiss was 900 years worth of loneliness and longing… all of his locked up emotions for Eun-tak… the emotions that he will no longer be able to express… he literally devoured her as she could only respond back and became worried because of the intensity of kiss. Despite that wonderfully hot and sexy kiss, it had an aura of desperation and unquenched hunger as he gazed and cradled Eun-tak’s face - trying so hard to engrave her image, every curvature of her face, and the feel of her body into his memory knowing that it was the last time he promised her, “I’ll be back.”

“So, shall we have our final battle now?” Of course, Joong Won teleported to where Eun-tak was and, at that moment, the buckwheat flowers in the book flew away like dust, foreshadowing how her lover will disappear. Unfortunately, she could not see him because of her fading powers. At the same time, GR sensed the change in Eun-tak’s death card announcement set to tonight. Eun-tak finally realized why Joong won waited all this time - for her birthmark to fade so that he could control her to pull out Shin’s sword. Joong Won attacked Eun-tak while she received Shin’s call and fumbled to start the lighter… luckily she managed to light a flame and summon Shin. However, the tables turn and Eun-tak grabbed Shin’s blade pleading him to kill her instead, “He’s trying to use me to remove your blade! I was fated to die. If not for you, anyway.” Too late, Joong Won possessed Eun-tak’s body and proceeded to remove the blade while Shin stood there as if this is what he’s been waiting for. Right then, GR appeared, commanded (like a king) that the deceased soul answer to the grim reaper, and called out Park Joong Won’s name three times. I KNEW THEY HAD TO TEAM UP! Joong Won was forced out of Eun-tak’s body and Shin caught her while also proceeding to pull out the sword holding onto her hands on the hilt!! OMFG!! SHIN PULLED OUT THE SWORD TOGETHER WITH EUN-TAK! Despite being shocked, Shin wasted no time and swung one last mighty slash at Joong Won with the blade blazing with fire. However, he wasn’t so depressed with the price of his death with the package of Shin’s death too, “But what I did was not in vain, because I’ve killed you once more. It’s the end for you now.”

Shin fell to one knee as he propped himself up with his sword, barely able to stand, while formally addressing the king one last time, “Forgive me. I will now send word to you that I’ve died a heroic death.” The sword, which was given to Shin by Wang Yeo and was the object of his immortal curse, finally disappeared and Eun-tak rushed to Shin’s side to support him with her own body and pleading the one word that she could only think of, “No! No! No!” She hugged Shin so tightly as if trying to keep him from disappearing while Shin caressed her face, “My life must have been a reward because I met you.” She reminded Shin that he told her he would never let go of her hand and Shin said that he would ask God to let him come back with the first snowfall of the season… the promise in which Shin had signed his life to keep with Eun-tak. The final blow to the remaining life inside me - when Eun-tak desperately confessed, “I love you, Mister. I love you!” and Shin replied, “Me too. I love you. Until the end. I already have.” In the end, their last moments together was them finally genuinely confessing their love for each other, as compared to the first time when Shin silently & indirectly confessed his first love and Eun-tak jokingly and not seriously meaning “I love you.” Shin closed his eyes and disappeared into red sparks as the flame from his heart spread to his body and blowing away in the wind… leaving Eun-tak alone as she collapsed in tears. But one thing to notice is that Eun-tak didn’t bawl into tears in front of Shin until after he disappeared because the actual reality of Shin disappearing into dust was the most painful experience for her… she was probably still holding onto a glimpse of hope that Shin would stay, but the moment he actually disappeared before her eyes was probably traumatizing as all she could do was helplessly watch her love turn to dust.

So in conclusion, I’m a mess right now. There are 3 more episodes left and that’s a lot of time that still remains to cover the ending of this drama, therefore anything can happen at this point since the sword pulling is done. Since GR is already on probation, he most likely might erase Eun-tak’s memories for her sake and won’t mess up like how he did with Sunny (he’ll probably say - forget everything about being the goblin’s bride and that he existed - return to living a normal life like a human). As for Sunny, she’s moving on with her life by making it meaningful, happy, and successful without it being related to her past life. As for GR, he’s trying to come to terms with his past and 1) he’ll stop being a grim reaper, or 2) he’ll return to being a grim reaper. As for Eun-tak, my poor baby, she’s in so much pain but I think she will most likely lose her memories and we’re going to get a time skip, but she has grown so much to become the wonderful woman she is now. Lastly, for Shin, I still hold strongly onto my reborn theory that he will be back! This can’t be the end for him because in episode 12, the letter by grandpa said he’ll disappear with a “blue spark.” However, in this episode he disappeared with “red sparks.” Red fire symbolizes destruction, transformation, and creation; therefore, perhaps Shin disappearing into red sparks might mean the end of his goblin life but he will be created as a different entity (as a human, angel, or even a grim reaper (theory courtesy of @azhaneeothman)). Of course, he probably is going to have a talk with God.. probably give his answer to the question of “fate” and I believe Shin already gave us a piece of that answer, “My life must have been a reward because I met you.”

Lastly, did you watch/listen to the ending song? There is a scene of a man standing in the desert and perhaps this is Shin? The desert has two famous symbolisms: 1) loneliness and isolation (death), but it can also 2) represent purification, eternity/endless possibilities, and awareness of oneself (humility). Perhaps this is what Shin is experiencing at the moment… either death or a new beginning from realizing that his immortal life was not a punishment after all. At the very last second of this episode, it was when Shin saw Eun-tak’s future… but this time a new line was added with Shin answering about his choice, “I understand now.” WHAT DOES HE UNDERSTAND!? Perhaps he is either answering himself why he chose to do what he did, OR he’s answering God about the answer to “fate.” :O

Welp… I’m still pulling for a happy ending because… I WANT TO SEE ALL OF MY BABIES HAPPY WITH THEIR LOVED ONES!! (PS: thanks for reading if you’ve read up to this point… I’m so sorry I had so much to talk about).

Summary:  Min Yoongi once loved this caring, squishy, lovely orange hair-colored modern dance major named Park Jimin. Park Jimin used to make Yoongi happy like puppies would make Taehyung happy. Now, Park Jimin was nothing but a sweet reminiscence to Min Yoongi. And he hated it. Yet, he liked the concept of Park Jimin being his sweet reminiscence as well, because in this way, Jimin would always have a special spot in his heart.

If Min Yoongi would choose one word to describe himself, he’d choose the word grumpy.

Yes, grumpy he was. Whenever he was a producer at night, working on a song that he had to finish the next morning, or whenever he was at home, all alone ofcourse, lying in bed, doing nothing else than fucking sleeping, the guy was always in a grumpy mood. Oh, and he disliked people as well. He never liked talking to these creatures and when he did, he only did it for work purposes.

Perhaps, the only person he occasionally talked to was Kim Namjoon, who was a fellow music producer at his company, also an aspiring rapper (Yoongi admired the guy’s motivation, really). However, he would even act grumpy towards his younger friend, and sadly, Namjoon couldn’t do anything but accept his grumpy behavior, with an irritated look plastered on his, somewhat adorable face.

A/N: For @inuparents-day!!! Come celebrate with us! There’s about 40000 different perceptions of how these two first met, so here’s mine. A lot more mundane than the rest lol. 2000 words.

If Izayoi had ever wondered whether or not demons entertained themselves by playing games, the answer would have been solved right then and there as she stared transfixed into the open field, eyeing the way a group of men- demons- frolicked around a ball the size of her head.

If they had noticed her, they made no mention of it, keeping to themselves with open smiles and focused looks- shirtless and beautiful. Rippling rocks of muscle and fire.

Izayoi hadn’t even kept track of how long she was out there, hiding behind the tall shrubs, her gaze locked on the tall dark one that unlike the rest of his mates, didn’t laugh, or follow along with whatever they were cheering at- simply stared mesmerized on the ball and it’s route. So attentive and concentrated, his thick brow scrunched in a deep sense of fortitude.

And Izayoi’s consideration had stayed spellbound on him, until a wild kick knocked the ball right into her face.

A blinding spiral of pain that only swung upwards with every breath she pulled, rocketed her backwards with a yelp. There was blood everywhere, and Izayoi had instantly assumed it would never stop as she gave into a listless black with welcoming arms.

Thoughts on TW 407 “weaponized”

We start with the “chemist” in his lab testing out the effectiveness of his weaponized virus and drinking tea.

We go to the tape, it’s all very clear, someone has set up a darknet and an untraceable bank and to be part of the “game” you need to give your details to receive the transfer, with visual confirmation, foreshadowing.

We end at Scott and stiles listening to the tape. Scott is confused about the why someone would pay so much money to kill them.

Scott puts the money back in the bag, now we have a good scene.

Scott is putting the money away and Stiles ask if he’s going to slide them under his mattress (to keep, Stiles is not too happy about this) Scott says he’ll give the money back to Derek because it is his.

Now I think we get into something people may be confused about.

Then we have Stiles go, his and Peters, Scott is confused, what does that mean?
Stiles is conflicted, they should maybe proceed with caution, now remember Stiles knows something Scott does not! Stiles knows Derek is currently top of the list to die according to the resident banshee.

Scott asks; you don’t think we should tell Derek? Stiles say that’s not what he’s saying they have to tell Derek, but some of the money is Peter’s, now what Stiles is thinking is, if/when Derek dies all the money is Peter’s.
He even tells in not so many words just that to Scott: Half the money is Peter’s homicidal killer, you want to give half a million dollars to Peter?

Scott asks, we should give Derek his money back but not Peter? Stiles explains that was not what he said. Scott wants him to clarify; Stiles can’t seem to tell him that Derek may die and all the money would eventually end up with Peter, then they are interrupted by Malia.

A couple of things which jumped out at me, Stiles is still beneath the MYPET poster, Scott has a theme of covering the light and Stiles is framed by the rainy window. Any theories on this are welcome!

Malia bursts in, they found the Satomi pack poisoned, Stiles asks where is Derek? Immediately after that, which with my shipper goggles implies he thinks first of Derek before his questions what poison and how.

Clip to Derek bringing in Braeden from the rain, She’s been shot, she might be dying. Nothing to add really, well rain so she wasn’t dying, it seems to be a theme that running water means safe and stagnant means death is likely.

Flash to Deaton in the rain full on combat with a hooded figure! Deaton is suspiciously well trained in combat, I think this may be a good indication that there is a hidden war going on, one much deeper hidden away than the hunter/werewolf war.

Satomi Ito is the one who was hooded, she looks remarkably young.

werewolf age
I have some ideas about this any one of them can be true.

  • Werewolves all stop aging earlier than humans and thus have a longer life span. Clearly they can’t have extended lifespans starting from childhood because that doesn’t really jive with them being integrated somewhat with society.
  • Perhaps a werewolf who has achieved great harmony with themselves has the ability to extend their life by using the healing that werewolves can do. Perhaps Satomi did this in order to lead her pack because she could find no suitable replacement for her as alpha.
  • Alphas who like Satomi and Talia have inner calm have superior healing and that healing slows aging as they wish it.

This is what I have right now, I’m leaning to the Alpha thing, because they have that extra sparks that could heal Peter from his near catatonic state to full out hunk in just a short while. But please feel free to add anything.

Interlude, PSAT’s where is Lydia? She took the freshman year don’t you know she’s a genius. Then we have Stiles as the grammar nazi correcting Malia, who is not happy, Stiles shrinks again, it’s a disturbing pattern.

Scott delivers his line about living while also surviving, which sounds like something Derek is just starting to grasp tbh.

A quick interjection about clothing colours,

Those who wear red are: Scott (pinkish but I’ll allow it) Malia, Mrs Martin, Sydney (patient zero), assassin girl.

Stiles wears a black and turquoise hooded shirt, black often represents secrets and control, turquoise often clear thinking and self-reliance… any how moving on.

The CDC is called for the freakish rash that seems to be spreading, they respond very quickly, maybe they’ve had similar instances?

Then we have a reiteration of the money issue which is a theme this season, the girl Sydney brings it up to Scott, she needs to do well on the PSAT, because scholarships, which Scott needs too.

We have a little discussion about the eradicated diseases in the world, small pox and rinderpest, first kills humans second cows. Is this foreshadowing? I don’t know.

Satomi brings an infected wolf to Deaton… Question I have, where is her emissary? Or are Emissaries only tied to families? So no packs made up of bitten wolves have emissaries? I’m suspicious.

Enter Melissa Mccall! She walks past out assassin in red.

Derek is sitting with Braeden, he seems to be gazing at her, notice no romantic lighting which we still haven’t had around Derek and Braeden, we had a lot of romantic lighting around other couples, including Jennifer and Derek. Anyhow from his look I’d say worried is the right emotion to place on him, troubled about his own situation, the fact that he is losing his abilities, he sees Braeden lying there and he imagines it may soon be him. He is sort of paralysed about how to proceed now, because his hopes of getting to Kate rested in this woman’s shoulders, he is unable to find her himself and not willing to let Peter know his limitations.

There is also the trouble that someone just killed a whole pack by poisoning them and the person who knows is currently unconscious.

Melissa comes in, she doses Braeden with a drug which makes her wake up, she’s clearly less injured than we thought, I’m getting even more suspicious of her, she was conveniently with the pack and She survived whatever happened, and she’s more well off than would be expected from a gunshot wound, she also survived getting her face nearly ripped off.

She also immediately knows that the Pack was not poisoned but infected with a designer virus that targets werewolves, where did she get this kind of information?

Lets go to Lydia, she’s in the white room at the lake house with Meredith’s possessions, she is still trying to learn about her powers and she’s very frustrated because “they have to work some of the time!” Also this scene is so clearly not just about Meredith it hurts, this scene is steeped in Allison, she’s lamenting the fact that even though she has this power it never comes in a way that could help people, “I wish I could have helped you” This was clearly much deeper than Meredith, this was about how she failed to save her best friend, and I dare anyone to say otherwise.

Lydia starts to pack the things away but spots a picture of Meredith in the white room, and she realises something, it is right in her face. I think this may be the game changer (it’s really subtle but this is Lydia’s show at the moment)

Kira and Malia have a discussion about if the guys are keeping something secret, which they are. Kira says if they are it’s probably for good reason. Kira proceeds to zap the poor CDC woman with her fantastic foxfire lightning, to prevent her blood from being taken? There was a zoom in on a blood filled tube and then a close up of the empty one that led to the zapping, preventing any supernaturals from giving blood.

We have a locker room scene where they decide to try to find another way into the Hale vault because obviously! Claws are the key to the vault, Stiles and Scott think they must be Hale claws but there has been no actual confirmation that this is the case, however they cover up by lying to Malia, who catches them, demands they tell her cause she can handler being on the list, she’s 4, she’s happy they’ll go after Scott and Kira first… We have Stiles going Progress, progress.

Stiles is suddenly very physically affectionate, my reading was he is overcompensating because he’s lying to Malia about something which concerns her, I’m still not sold on her being a hale, Peter was too uninterested in her or having lived in the woods for 8 years.

The money problems are brought again, I’m still uncertain that these problems are as big as they appear to the teens, they may be exaggerating what problems exist, making them over-dramatic and more immediate. I could see that being the case.

We’re back to Derek, he’s looking wistfully down again in Braedens direction, still not romantic lighting, the lighting is actually more blue tinted which I’ve tied to secrets and that which is hidden, so his wistful gaze is likely him reminiscing about the past, especially since he has to be prompted to move, he’s caught in memories, maybe about Cora, how he managed to save her, and now he has saved another person. Derek is also a very caring person which explains in part why he is at the hospital, he covers up with a joke that he’s looking out for his investment (but he hasn’t paid her anything yet) What there is in this scene though is Derek feeling guilty he almost got her killed, Derek doesn’t like being the cause of someone’s death, and his weakness has put a person at risk for a reason that he should have been able to handle himself, but he had to hire Braeden to keep from Peter that he’s losing his abilities. Why is he at the hospital with Braeden!? Well what is he supposed to do? He knows he can’t do anything at the school, because CDC is there and there is a werewolf killing infection going around, he would do no good running around.

To reiterate I don’t see much in the way of romance between these two.

Lydia knows someone is going to die, which is a positive thing, that she knows and can say so with confidence.

Deaton reveals that it’s a virus which kills wolves which has been modified (why it kills coyotes and Kitsune I can’t say) Satomi seems to be immune, she comments as the second person how much Derek reminds her of his mother, she used to visit her quite a bit and did he remember, he remembers the smelly tea, which is the solution to the problem of the virus.

I’ve talked about the gunshot before so I won’t do it here.

Agent Mccall tells Stiles about the tea in the vault and he runs to save Scott, but he is blocked by a wall, a wall which prevents him from reaching Scott, I would say it’s a bit foreshadowing about Stiles not being the one to save Scott from whatever path he will go down.

Scott uses his werewolf vision to see like Deucalion and apparently the wolf vision can see the magic abilities of the mushrooms in the jar on the shelf. Interesting to know that.

So we end with Malia finding out that on the list her name is Hale, Stiles touches her right shoulder with his left hand, I think Cupidsbower calls that the anchor position and she grips his wrist and rejects it.
