Guys..I’m gonna say it…yoi was really overhyped..

Wow, if you guys thought I was angry and too critical of racist white authors before. You have no idea what’s coming. If you can believe it, I did try to hold back before. And where it’s not my place to speak, I will do my darnest to elevate the voices of those who usually get yelled over Now there will be no mercy, no forgiveness, no free passes.

This is what passivity does. This is what happens when we (white people) don’t speak up about micro-aggression, YES INCLUDING in our own community. You can deny the fact that you can separate fiction from reality all you want, but we do allow books to influence our thinking and perceptions. Knowing something is problematic is not enough anymore. And the fact is, barely any of my fellow white bloggers are ever actually willing to discuss anything without being pressed for it.

So yeah, if you like racist authors like Rainbow Rowell, Sarah J Maas, Jay Krisstoff, Cassandra Clare, Keira Drake you should probably unfollow me now. BYE!

This episode completely lacked any stakes at all honestly, rendering all the conflict meaningless.

Kate is bleeding to death after massive bloodloss? Just give her an instant blood transfusion–blood transfusions don’t work that way and she shouldn’t be able to walk after that and Seth should be faint if he gave someone enough blood to revive them from death but who cares.

Richie gets captured by Amaru but all she does is chain him up and keep him out of commission, despite the build up about Richie and Amaru’s connection, Richie’s Xibalba radio, shadow Richie being a part of Richie now, and Amaru wanting Richie on her team because he’s so dangerous? AHAHA. Like Richie would ever really be in danger. Like there would be any follow through on his storyline.

Richie is trapped in Xibalba? Nah he can just walk out. It’s fine.

Kate needs to go to hell to take away Amaru’s power in order for the others to defeat her? No, it’s totally fine if she comes right back. That won’t affect anything negatively.

Kisa being nearly defeated by Amaru was the only time anything felt remotely dangerous for the characters. Everything else felt incredibly cheap, like the writers couldn’t be fucked to let anything have real lasting consequences, to let sacrifices be made, to have any of the danger mean anything because everything needs to be wrapped up and a-okay.

She knew that he didn’t deserve her. She knew that he always chose the girl that would drive him crazy for a couple months until he called a quits. She knew that he’d always answer her calls even if it was two in the morning. She knew he’d always meet her in the same spot at three in the afternoon and smoke cigarettes with her even though he stopped smoking months ago. She knew he’d listen to her talk about boys stepping all over her and kiss her to make her forget it. She knew she didn’t need that in her life, but in his eyes she knew that there was a love that he covered with a pillow until it stopped moving. She swears they can get it back. She keeps fighting because she doesn’t deserve him either, but she wants to. How can you blame her for wanting him so bad if she smiles uncontrollably just from hearing his voice?

Imagine barista!Mingyu trying to impress you because he thought you were cute but he clumsily added too much water into the cup so now your drink is very bland.

this one’s sorta based on my personal experience playing pyro. sometimes you get called useless, other times you get thanked by the engineer for helping them defend the last point.
