parting line of a breakup (if you break their heart)
  • aries: "I deserve better anyway. You never would have been enough for me and this should've ended a long time ago."
  • taurus: "I'll never forget you, but neither will I love you again."
  • gemini: "I'll admit, you made me feel something for a while. But I will NOT hurt over you."
  • cancer: "I feel so stupid. When did everything go wrong? I thought we were forever."
  • leo: "You can't leave me. I'm the best thing to happen to you. WE CAN WORK THIS OUT."
  • virgo: "Well, what can you do? They didn't deserve me anyway. I'll find someone better, someone who wouldn't deliberately hurt me like you did."
  • libra: "Why do I feel like leaving is the bad option? Shouldn't I give you another chance. You deserve that. WAIT, no. I'm already gone."
  • scorpio: "You'll regret it. I promise you of that."
  • sagittarius: "Were we really even a couple? Couples aren't supposed to drag each other down like that. I was feeling trapped and you were too blind to even see!"
  • capricorn: "Did I do something wrong? No, it couldn't have been me... But was it?"
  • aquarius: "You changed me. I didn't want to be changed. We're better off as friends anyway... right?"
  • pisces: "You hurt me, you hurt me so fucking bad and yet I'm still in love with you. How is that?"
  • Next time you hear someone slutshaming Izzy think about this: she has self respect. If the guy she is with doesn't treat her right, she's out. She doesn't take any BS and halfhearted apologies and kiss and make up just to be hurt again. She is not just out for sex-how many times were she and Simon in the mood and alone-and yet how many times did they end up sleeping together? When she found out Simon was cheating what did she do? She left. She put her foot down. Until her best friend convinced her that she should try to just talk to him and then she did so very unhappily.
  • Same with Jace. The go-to Player and cheater in fanfics: okay, he admits to having a past. But when he is with Clary does he ever show a single sign of unfaithfulness? All those girls hitting on him hard enough to leave bruises don't get a second glance. He doesn't try to push Clary farther than she's ready. In fact, he pushes her AWAY when he knows they aren't ready multiple times. There is only one exception to this, is COLS when he is under Sebastian's influence and he gets ahead of himself. But when she pushes him away what did he do? Go away. And then come back with a deep, from the heart apology because he knew way he had pounced on her was unacceptable and he wanted to make it up to her in any way you can-which happened to be reading to her because she couldn't sleep.
  • Magnus: why anyone is a hater of his love life I don't understand. The guy is four hundred years old. Don't tell me you think he should be single all that time. It's not like he knew Alec would come around and flip his world upside down one day. He's a good, loyal boyfriend who just has a complicated history.
  • Alec: I get it. He shouldn't have gone to talk to Camille. He should have talked to Magnus. But honestly, who out there who is in a reasonably new relationship would be okay just asking you SO about all 400 years of their past partners? And if you think you could, put yourself in the shoes of a kinda shy, often overlooked, unsure guys shoes.
  • Clary: has been through Hell-no pun intended. She has her first Kiss on her fifteenth birthday with a guy who has saved her life countless times and has this enchanting charm that she actually has feelings for. Obviously there's that whole issue with Jace a few weeks later so she goes out with her friend out of obligation. Simon had always been there for her and he loved her so he felt like she was SUPPOSED to like him and be a weird bestfriend/girlfriend. She kissed Sebastian, she, a single attractive girl went out on a walk with a guy who is nice to her who seems like he could be a good friend. And they end up kissing woop-te-do. After he reveals his true identity there is not a single moment between them that she wants to have and doesn't try to avoid.

I'm sad for the lack of good "Invader Falls" stuff in the world. Please describe a meeting between Dib Membrane and the Pines family.

After his encounter with the security droid at the UFO landing site, Ford got worried about the unwary travelers or explorers who might potentially stumble into those ruins and find themselves bound for a distant star, never to return. So he set a careful series of traps which would capture intruders before they tripped the extraterrestrial alarm system, and he set up an alarm of his own which would alert him if any of the traps were sprung. One evening in the summer of 2013, while Ford, Stan and the kids were visiting the Mystery Shack, one of those alarms suddenly went off. Ford left before Stan had finished making dinner to investigate, was gone long enough that his great-niece and nephew began breathlessly to wonder if he’d found an alien, and returned hauling (by the collar) a long black jacket which contained a disappointing specimen; a pale, bespectacled kid no taller than Dipper, who looked (as Dipper would later write in his journal) as though he hailed from some alternate universe where the only retailer was Edgy On Purpose. He was out of breath and insisted that somebody named “ZIM” had gone ahead of him to raid the crash site for parts, which he would undoubtedly use in some nefarious scheme to take over the Earth. After much cajoling and repeated insistences that he was not himself an alien but an ordinary human with a genetic deformity, Ford got the kid to sit down, take a breather, and eat a pancake (the Pines family having mutually decided on Breakfast for Dinner).

The kid was nearly stunned into silence by the realization that these people not only believed, but took it for granted that there had once been aliens in Gravity Falls, and that they were entirely open to the possibility that his classmate “ZIM” (“That’s no human name!”) was not a human being but an invader from the distant planet Irk. Dipper in particular was eager to hear every detail of Dib’s case, and every item on his list of evidence, and every suspicious thing that ZIM had ever done and said (Mabel giggling about how adorable they were, these two nerds, and occasionally interpolating a relevant question such as whether ZIM had abs), so that it wasn’t until some time had passed that it came out that Dib himself was an extraterrestrial of sorts, having followed ZIM through a space-time portal which he had devised in order to access the landing site. Ford, it turned out, had known Professor Membrane personally at one time during the years he spent between dimensions and was very surprised to find that he had had a son (and a daughter, Dib hastened to add). He had had a great respect for the man’s intellect but had failed to comprehend his compartmentalization of paranormal science and “real science,” holding that all science was a part of the greater whole. At this point Dib had to remove his glasses to get something out of his eye.

They managed to get it out of Dib that ZIM had run away from the crash site, potentially in the direction of the town, but at this point Soos had already gotten in the car to drive Melody (his best employee) home to her apartment and Stan said they could go and look for little green men in the morning, the cops had been pretty free with the tasers since last summer’s Incident and he couldn’t afford a lawyer. Every cell of Dib’s obsessive intelligence was begging him to lodge a protest (“But what if he takes over during the night? If I go to sleep now I’ll leave the world vulnerable!”), but he was full of pancakes, and Stan had called him “kid” in a not-unkindly fashion, and the twins had offered to settle him down in their room, and something which he might have called “contentment” if he had ever felt such a thing before was settling imperceptibly into his bones. So he took the risk, and bedded down in a mountain of pillows which Mabel had assembled as a bed for Waddles but it was okay, Waddles could sleep with her tonight (“what is it with girls and pigs?” he asked Dipper, who didn’t know), and Dipper left the lantern on and they lay awake long after they should have gone to sleep, trading stories of gnome attacks and presidential conspiracies and seeing Bigfoot in the garage.

[hospital meme] Sam sat at his sister's bedside. He couldn't look at her; every time he did, a confusing mix of anger and fear nearly choked him. Why hadn't she taken him with her? He knew why, but if she had known that they were going to overpower her like this--and Dee had known, Deanna always knew. He rubbed a hand down his face and repositioned in the hard plastic chair. He was thankful she was alive, but they needed to have a serious come to Jesus meeting.

my character is in the hospital after being gone for days they have serious injuries and are lucky to be alive. how does your muse react when they find out?

Deanna groaned a little as she came to, more out of confusion than in pain, as the IV in her arm was giving her a steady amount of pain killers every few minutes. Her green eyes blinked as she glanced around the room, trying to recall where she was.

Her eyes fell on Sam, and she felt even more confused, he wasn’t supposed to be there. “Sammy?” she croaked, voice hoarse, “What happened?”

Prince Fluff stared up at the clear blue sky above Grass Land as he relaxed upon the soft grass. As had happened in previous years, he was reminiscing about Kirby. It had been over six years now since he had last seen the puffball following the end of their grand adventure. Since then, he had heard nothing from his old friend. Kirby couldn't have forgotten about him, could he? He was sure the other still had the magic sock he had given him. So then why hadn't he come back to visit yet?

Kirby had just finished digging though every single drawer, cupboard and box in his small home as he sat down in disappointment.

Where in the world was that sock? He had been searching for about two weeks now, but to no avail.

Did it just disappear? Was it gone forever?

Did he ruin any chance and connection to one of his dear friends by losing a sock? Jeez, this was difficult. He checked for any areas he hadn’t looked, and flopped onto his bed. The living balloon had been pulling the blanket over himself, when he felt something soft lightly brush against him. Lifting the blankets, he realized he had finally found it! It was the sock! He was relieved- but now that he found it, what can he do? Well, he decided to put the sock to good use, as he ventured to Patch Land, awaiting the reunion with his long lost friend.

Martyn struggled with the bindings that firmly held him down. He couldn't even remember why he and Toby had come to try and hurt Yoglabs then, or even why they'd come so under-prepared. At least, he thought wistfully, Toby had probably managed to make him out. At least Toby didn't have to face an ex-friend standing there as he was bound down to a... table? rack? He didn't even know. He refused to speak, refused to give Xephos the satisfaction of that.

Xephos could hear Martyn struggling behind him - it was amusing. They’d tested those bindings on Lalnable, whent he clone-gone-wrong had been at his worst. If he couldn’t get out, then Martyn definitely wouldn’t be able to. He tapped the needle in his hand with one finger, forcing the air out, and turned around, his face carefully kept expressionless. Martyn was looking at him furiously, annoyance and fear present in equal measures. That was okay - he could work with fear. “Not talking, hm? Don’t worry, that won’t last.”

She Keeps Me Warm [10/?]

Chapter 10

Hannah checked in a motel when she arrived on Sunday afternoon, not ready to go back to the apartment. She took out the phone’s charger, finally bringing it back to life. She looked outside at the pink and orange sky and decided to go for a walk since she was near the sea. Leaving the apartment and the charging phone, she went straight to the docks. The sky turned from warm orange to a dark blue as Hannah watched people walk or run around while she thought of Elizabeth and Grace once again. After an hour, she went back to the motel and finally opened her phone.

Nineteen messages.

Ten missed calls.

Hannah took a deep breath and indulged herself on the missed calls first. There were five from Grace to which Hannah’s heart did a jump - two from Mamrie, one from Terry and even one from Robert, and lastly one from Elizabeth which was dated yesterday. She then moved to the messages. Again, most of her messages from Grace, there were nine of them then five from Mamrie, three from Maggie and two from Elizabeth.

Grace 11:07 6/7/11
Hey, thank you for bringing me home last night. I don’t remember half of the night so it was a good night. Poop.

Mamrie 12:16 6/7/11
Hey mini me! Thanks for bringing me safely home last night.

One missed call from Grace.

One missed call from Mamrie.
