why can't i read comics about you

3

Alright then. In this masterpost, I tried to offer the most complete selection of Jason appearances possible, which, btw, means a lot of things where his importance isn’t exactly… major. I left out one panel appearances tho, because those are really for when you’re waaaay past the point of no return. But, if anyone’s interested.. I have several of them. I’m also not passing any judgement. No matter how bad the story, I tried to include it.

Any broken links, any continuation doubts, just want to talk about the comics, send me a message!

How much will you be selling the comic at? I love your work so much i would like to get it when its done! If you don't know yet its ok

Hey there!

I don’t know yet because I’m not 100% sure I will actually selling it. There are way more chances that I’ll be using it as a reward in my upcoming patreon (still to set up) or making a free-to-read web comic of it, sooooo I’m really sorry for this mess. I’ll decide once it’s done.

I just finished reading the new spirk comic update so sarek looking up netflix and chill was fresh in my mind. And then my creative writing teacher decided to bring up star trek and have the whole class talk about sarek of all characters. Now I can't keep a straight face and no one knows why, so thank you for that and for the gay

You’re very welcome

Wait wait, I read your tags, is Cherik canon in the comics? 😱

some of them. (in my opinion, I mean some dimwits are still reading around it and claim they’re just “good friends”) but in Ultimate X-Men Charles explains to David (Legion) why he left him and Moira when he was still a kid by telling him about Erik:

I don’t know about you, but the first time I met another adult mutant was like being hit by a thunderbolt. Far, far more powerful than being in love and our human wives knew it. Our eyes were brighter, our minds were faster. Sometimes we could spend seventy two straight hours on the telephone just talking about our ideas for the world.

Far more powerful than being in love!! Now the Ultimate Universe is an AU but in X-Men: Deadly Genesis Moira says to Charles that she hasn’t seen him this upset since he and Erik “fell out” Not to mention all the times they died crying in each others arms (House of M: Civil War, X-Men Gold, etc).

Now there are still a LOT of comics I need to read and they are written by a lot of different writers and I guess it really depends on the writer and the time it was written in how canon they actually are. But you can’t deny that in every single one of them Charles and Erik have a special connection and none of Charles’ or Eriks other relationships have lasted very long.

I can really make a very long post about it haha xD but I still need to read some more comics and collect all the panels which are cherik related :D

1. won't you give us a clue about what you're writing? Omg I just can't wait! 2. Do you have oc's and stories about them? I'd really like to read something created 100% by you. (I mean, not based in comic characters) 💕

I have loads of original stories and characters but they’re all sad and lonely people with dreary lives. maybe one day I’ll let y'all see. as for the other thing, well, what the heck why not. here’s a snippet of some eruri I’ve been working on and will hopefully be finished in the next month or so? we’ll see. anyway:

Isn't it also about taste? Like, if someone wants his/her story with no big breasts and pocs, shouldn't he/she be able to read it? On the other hand: Why should anyone who doesn't want stuff like that be able to not read it? There are so many FUCKING COMIC BOOKS out there. Why all that hate? Why not just ignoring each other and consuming what yourself like? I mean, a few comic books about women with smaller breasts and some pocs can't spoil the comics you like. Can they?

Let’s see a variant comic cover featuring the Joker and Batgirl was pulled down because a bunch of feminists and progressives whined about it on Twitter.

Erik Larsen one of the founders of Image Comics got shit on by Gail Simone for daring to have an opinion that differed from hers, causing him to leave Twitter for a while.

Gail Simone and Kelly Sue DeConnick tried to get Erik Larsen blacklisted from the comics industry because he disagreed with their narrative.

Wonder Woman used “mansplaining” in a honest to fuck sentence.

An artist who works for DC admitted on Twitter that Raven’s costume from the 1980′s would not fly in today’s censor happy industry.

Comics Alliance a progressive site defends Chris Sims a women harassing piece of shit because he works for them.

And let’s not forget game developers being denied coverage of their games because they don’t subscribe to the feminist/progressive ideology.

But hey if you wanna lie to yourself and think that this is all just a personal taste issue then by all means go ahead.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

My mum won't let me buy marvel merchandise or read comic books. She thinks I'm "turning into a boy" and that marvel is boy stuff :/ I absolutely love x men and it makes me so sad. I read the comics on my phone so I guess she can't really stop me but it just upsets me that she disapproves so much.

Reading comic books isn’t an activity exclusively for males. In reality its for any gender identity to enjoy and love. I would maybe try explaining this to her if possible?

Also how there are lots of new female leads in marvel now a days. Maybe if you tell her this she will be more understanding. Or even try explaining why exactly you are so passionate about them.

My mother was the same way when I started liking comic books when I was really young, but when I showed her why I liked them so much she started to back off a bit. Now I have an extensive collection and they are still to this day a huge part of my life.

Hope all goes well xoxo
