For all you idiots who like to slut shame Taylor for dating too often, I might believe this was really your issue with her… except, why don’t you ever shame men?
If dating a new person every year is so awful, then you must HATE these men, and yet I’ve never seen you write a single post about any of them.
Tonight I actually saw someone say that if you have a list of exes a mile long, then there’s something wrong with you, and thanks for telling me there’s something wrong with me! My number is higher than hers, incidentally, because I’m fucking choosy and will not settle just because it’s expected, but thanks for reinforcing the gender stereotype that I’m a freak.
And you have the gall to call yourself a fucking feminist? NEWSFLASH, unless you’ve condemned any of these people for how frequently they date, you aren’t.
Justin Bieber has dated 36 women since 2007. That’s one woman every 3 months!
In the 35 years until he married, Warren Beatty dated 101 women. That’s a new relationship every 4 months!
Drake has dated 39 women in the last 15 years. That’s a new woman every 4 ½ months
Since 2009 Harry Styles has dated 10 women. That’s a new relationship every 9 months!
Leonardo DiCaprio has had 40 known relationships in the last 22 years. That’s a new woman every 6 ½ months!
Niall Horan has dated 11 women in the past 8 years. That’s a new relationship every 9 months!
Since 2009 Chris Pine has dated 11 women. That’s 1 every 9 months!
Since 2011 Zayn Malik had dated 8 women. Also 1 every 9 months!
Justin Timberlake has dated 21 people in the 17 years until he married. That’s a new relationship every 10 months!
In the last 19 years Tiger Woods has dated 22 women that we know about That’s a new woman every 10 months.
Over the last 36 years Charlie Sheen has dated 43 women. That’s a new relationship every 10 months.
Henry Caville has dated 6 women in the last 6 years. That’s one a year!
In the last 7 years Dylan Sprouse had dated 7 women. Or one every 12 months.
Chris Evans has dated 13 women in the last 14 years. That’s a new woman every 13 months!
Taylor Lautner has dated 10 women since 2006 That’s a new relationship every 13 months.
But Taylor Swift also averages a new relationship every 13 months, and you all crucify her? What’s that about?
That is either a sexist double standard, or you’re just grasping onto any reason to hate her and the easiest reason happens to be a sexist double standard.
Oh but hold up! Rhianna has dated 26 people since 2001 That’s a new relationship every 7 months.
Where’s all your posts crucifying Rhianna for being a slut? Oh, that’s right, you were just desperate for any stick to beat Taylor with and accidentally ended up slut shaming women you didn’t mean to. Silly me.
So unless I see you denigrating some of these men, SHUT THE FUCK UP. WE CAN ALL SEE THE STRAWS YOU ARE SO DESPERATELY GRASPING AT!

A/N: OMG! It’s my baby’s birthday, happy birthday to my angel and cinnamon roll, and I would appreciate it if you talk about MILES in my ask box. I am disappointed and sad too, so Miles would really cheer me up right now. I am so tired and I have some tests and oral tests for tomorrow, that sucks! I hate school so much and I can’t wait for it to end. Honestly. I hope that you like this Zach imagine and I would appreciate it if you send some requests. Thank you so much, I love you all.

Warning: few bad words, I think.
“Zachary Dempsey!” You shouted as you tried to catch your best friend’s attention. You were complaining about some iniquities of your Maths teacher about your surprised long test earlier that day, but you stopped when you noticed that he wasn’t listening to you.
You decided to have a picnic after school as you wanted to study for your Peer Communications exam together. Your final exams were coming soon and school was about to end, finally.
The day seemed so calm and tranquil. The mild and fine weather just came in as the colourful flowers bloomed and the trees suddenly became green. The heat of the sun kissed your skin as the howling gale made your hair sway in different directions and the only noise that could be heard was your fussy voice, together with the chirping of the birds.
“What the hell?” He jumped a little bit, accidentally throwing his pen on the blanket that you were sitting on. “What is your problem?” He asked with his furrowed eyebrows, still having his gaze concentrated in somewhere else.
“Dude, I was blabbering with no one!” You nudged him to catch his attention, but he was lost in his thoughts once again so you followed his lost gaze.
Your heart suddenly ached and your chest tightened as you saw him staring at a familiar and pretty girl from afar.
“Hannah.” You slowly nodded your head as you closed your heavy and thick Communications textbook. You remained in silence as you dealt with the deafening sound of the falling fragments of your heart.
Honestly? You really liked Zach since your Sophomore year. It started with a simple and innocent crush, but you started going out as friends and your feelings for him just grew wider and deeper. You tried to repress every emotion that you felt for him by avoiding him once, but it was useless because you kept on falling in love with him more and more every day, at first slowly, but then all at once.
“What’s up with her?” You curiously asked as you twiddled with the pen in your right hand. You stared at Zach and he suddenly looked at you.
“Just thinking about what happened during Valentine’s Day.” Zach answered and he flashed you a sad smile. You corrugated your forehead as he said that he didn’t have any date that night and he was going out with his friends, but it came out that he was with her, at least, that was what you expected that happened. “Don’t look at me like that, because I know what you’re thinking!” He playfully ruffled your hair and he gave you some loud laughs.
“Why? What am I thinking about?” You asked as you pretended to be innocent, obviously didn’t want to be caught.
“I was with my friends that night, stop being jealous.” He joked and he just laughed even harder when he received a loud slap on his arm, it didn’t have any effects on him as he was strong and muscular.
“I never thought that you weren’t with them!” You rolled your eyes as you lied through your teeth. Zach shook his head happily and you noticed how enthusiastic he was when you acted jealous around him.
“Yeah, right!” He rolled his eyes and he watched Hannah reading a book from afar. You watched her too and, although you could barely see her, you still had the chance to admire her features: long brown wavy hair, pink rosy cheeks and red full lips. She was beautiful and you couldn’t deny that it wasn’t impossible to like her, nevertheless her bad reputation at school. “Her date was Marcus.”
“They hang out together?” You curiously asked. Marcus had a really different behaviour compared to Hannah and it was strange for them to go on a date together.
“The Dollar Valentine of the cheerleaders.” He shortly answered as he finally closed his textbook too. You remembered how your previous Valentine’s Days went in the past few years and you were thankful that you decided to stay with your parents this year. “Marcus was an asshole though.”
“I have always said it.” You proudly stated as you flashed him a convinced wide smile. Zach nodded his head as he was agreeing to what you have just said. “Then what happened?”
“Well, he thought that Hannah was an easy one, just like what those school walls heard from some students about her.” Zach looked at you and he caught your eyes, but quickly looked away. “Long story short: Marcus wanted to have sex with her and, of course, Hannah rejected him.”
“Damn it! Where’s the fucking respect?” You complained and you furrowed your eyebrows as Marcus’ behaviour disgusted you. How can a man do something like that? It wasn’t even a behaviour to consider.
“I know.” Zach shortly answered. “Hannah spent the night crying as I remained with her, trying to make her laugh.”
“And?” You raised your shoulders as you waited for further explanations. “And nothing, I talked and she listened. Nothing more.” Zach honestly answered and a dead silence was created between the two of you.
You knew Zach perfectly and you’ve always noticed it whenever he would lie about things. It didn’t seem that he was lying, so you believed him, although you still thought that he liked her.
“Well, she’s hot. Why don’t you try to date her?” You suddenly blurted out as you were trying to find some interesting topics to talk about. You hated the silence when it came to Zach, you find it annoying when you couldn’t find any topic to discuss about.
“What?” Zach slightly shouted and you could say that he was shocked too. He didn’t expect you to say those things. You couldn’t understand why you chose that topic out of all the possible topics in the world, it was embarrassing and you somehow hinted him that you didn’t find him interesting nor you weren’t interested in him.
“Well,” You knew that you couldn’t take everything back anymore. You were afraid of what he might say about it, but you needed to go with the flow. “she’s beautiful. Isn’t she?”
“She is,” Zach honestly answered and you harshly felt a dart hitting perfectly the bullseye of your heart. “but it doesn’t mean that I want to date her.” He emphasized his words, trying to make you understand his point.
“Why not, Dempsey?” You pushed yourself to the limit and you still continued on teasing Zach, even though you knew that it wouldn’t be a good thing for you.
“Because it’s a no, (Y/N)!” Zach ruffled your hair once again and you just laughed as you noticed that he was starting to be annoyed. He’s never liked it whenever you would take care of his relationships, neither when you talk about your celebrity crushes or your admiration for some people.
“Tell me why!” You insisted and you kept on laughing as Zach gave you a death glare.
You held your stomach as you cried for your happiness. Annoyed Zach was the best Zach and you just loved it. Your laughter, though, was interrupted when Zach wrapped his arms around your neck and pulled you backwards, making you lean your body on his chest.
“What the he-“ You were about to complain for his unexpected actions, but then he suddenly pressed his lips on yours to shut you up. You were obviously shocked, because why would he do such thing?
Your eyes grew wide as the happening still had to sink in your mind, but as soon as Zach moved his lips to deepen the kiss, you flutter shut your eyes and enjoyed the movements of your lips as they locked and fitted perfectly. You started to play with his hair and he caressed your face, slowly drawing some circles on your burning cheeks.
“That’s why, (Y/N)! I’d like to date you, instead of her, because I love you!” Zach whispered in your ear, confessing his feelings as you broke the kiss in need of air. He let your head rest on his chest and you flashed him a wide smile. “Is that clear now?”
“More than clear, Dempsey!” You laughed and you rolled your eyes as you lingered the smell of his perfume on his neck. You loved his scent and you couldn’t deny that he attracted you even more.
“So?” He raised an eyebrow as he held your hand tightly, interlacing his fingers with yours. “Can I try to date you, instead?”
“Try?” You jokingly questioned him. “I thought we are already dating?”
“Well, your thoughts are never wrong.” He winked at you and you both let out some soft giggles, being happy and thankful of the fast, but great moment that happened just a few minutes ago.
Being happy is underestimated, it is stereotypical, but Zach? Zach had that capacity to take you to another world, to make you discover new emotions to feel whenever you were with him. You were beyond happy for sure, because it was you who he wanted to be with and not anyone else. He chose you and, like what he has said, he loved you.
I Thought We Already Weren’t (Peter Parker x Reader)
Request: anonymous asked: Ooh I love angst!! Can you do something where the reader has a huge crush on peter but he likes Liz and he asks her out on date and he asks the reader for help with everything so she basically plans the whole thing for him and he keeps saying things like “wow ur such a good friend” and out of jealousy she asks Flash on a date and they start to go out and Peter says he’s not good enough for her and they get into a huge argument and deicde it’s better if they stop being friends…
Word Count: 2,413 (sorry, got carried away again)
A/N: heyyy more angst! sorry this is quite late, but I finally figured out how I wanted this imagine to go. I did try to shorten it a bit since it is quite long, but I guess this is as short as it’s gonna get 😂 hope you like it, anon! ❤️❤️
“(Y/N)!” your name carried through the halls above the chatter of the student body. Eyebrows furrowed, you jerked your head out from your locker to see who was beckoning. You spotted Peter’s dark curls bobbing amongst the crowd towards you.
“(Y/N),” Peter gasped. He leant against the locker next to yours, breathing heavily.
You raised your brows in amusement. “Yes?” you asked, curious as to what would motivate Peter to run.
Peter swallowed, “I need your help.”
“With what?” you turned back to your locker to shove your math textbook inside and grab your jacket.
“Ummm… well… it’s about…” he lowered his voice to a barely audible whisper and leaned closer. “It’s about Liz.”
You tilted your head away from him slightly to hide the anguish that quickly flashed on your face. “What about Liz?” you tried to keep your voice steady and calm. A difficult feat, as you felt a pit drag your stomach and your breath catch high in your throat.
“I—I uh—well—I have a date with her,” he stammered
“What?!” you exclaimed, shocked. “Wow, Peter!” You tried to shove out any tone of sadness in your voice. You knew how much courage it must’ve taken this nervous but excited and eager romantic buzzing next to you.
“Yeah,” he breathed.
“Did you just ask her?” you guessed.
“Yeah. Yeah I did,” his ecstatic state quickly turned into a more panicked one. “But I need your help. I have no idea what to do!”
“For the date?”
“Yeah!” Shutting your locker, you swung your jacket over your shoulder and headed for the school doors. Peter bounded after you. “Please, (Y/N)!” he pleaded.
You shoved the doors open, “Why aren’t you asking Liz, though? Isn’t the date with her?” You worried that that might’ve been a bit forward in revealing your subtle bitterness.
“Well, yeah but I—I wanted to surprise her. And I can’t ask Ned ‘cause I don’t wanna mess this up, I mean no offense to him, but you know—(Y/N), you’re my only other friend who can help me!” Your stomach twisted at that word. Friend.
“When is it?”
You sighed, conflicted yet sympathetic. Here he was, the best friend you had slowly but undoubtedly fallen for, asking for your help with someone else. Of course you were jealous. Of course you were dejected and feeling a bit betrayed. But of course you were going to help him. Because, dammit, you were proud and happy for him, too.
After two years of daydreaming, confiding, and awkwardly trying, he had finally gotten courage and motivation to dosomething about it. You saw how he lit up when she merely looked his way, how he melted whenever she said something nice to him, how jittery and nervous he got whenever he was within a ten food radius of her. You weren’t about to take that away from him just because of your unrequited feelings; because before he was ever your crush, he was your best friend.
“Okay,” you replied. Hope and relief immediately washed out all desperation on Peter’s face. You couldn’t help but smile a bittersweet smile.
“Really?!” he grinned.
“Yeah, yeah, of course!” you cheerfully affirmed. “Just, uh, come over later tonight so we can think of some ideas.”
“Thank you! Really, (Y/N), thank you so much!” Peter squeezed you in a tight hug that you half heartedly returned. He suddenly pulled away and reached for his phone. You already knew what it most likely meant, so you started past him.
“I’ll see you around seven?” you called back. Peter was already running the opposite direction.
“Uh yeah! Seven’s good!”
Groaning, you got up from your chair and stretched your arms above your head. How could simple chemistry equations somehow make your entire body ache?
You were about to plop back into your chair when a tapping came from your window. Glancing at the clock that read ten minutes past eight, you trudged over, unlocked it, and slid it up.
“Sorry I’m late; some nut job decided tonight was a good night to rob a jewelry shop.”
“Hm,” you nodded as you headed to your desk. Peter stumbled through the window, leaving it open for a quick getaway.
“Your folks home?”
“Nah,” you shrugged. “Both have meetings.”
Peter slipped his backpack off and slumped onto your bed. “So,” he rested his elbows on his knees, “Any ideas?”
You swiveled your chair around. “Not really,” you confessed. “Nothing’s really come to mind.”
Peter hung his head down, groaning, “What am I gonna do?”
“So… okay then. What do you want to do?” you inquired.
“I dunno! I was thinking maybe just dinner and a movie? Chill, not to much fancy expensive stuff…”
“No, no don’t do that. That’s typical, not surprising at all.”
“Ugh,” he muttered. “Has she ever said anything about like what her ideal date would be?”
“Don’t think so…” you racked your brain. You didn’t know Liz too well. Sure you’d shared some classes with her these past two years and had gotten to know her well enough. But you weren’t the best friend she’d confide to about relationships and dating. You also weren’t going to give up your ideal date for Peter to create for someone else.
You both sat in silence, thinking. There was a slight tension in the room that you both could sense, but it was hardly enough to make the setting awkward. You’d also never let it get to that point either.
“I know she likes picnics…” you offered. “Maybe you could get takeout from her favorite place and take her on a picnic somewhere?”
“Oh yeah…” Peter sat up. “That sounds cool!”
“And it’s not super expensive.”
“But do it kind of late-ish,” you added. “And maybe on the roof of a high building. So it’ll be darker and better for star gazing. Liz loves stars.”
“Yeah… yeah, yeah! That’s great; that’s awesome! Oh, okay okay! I got it,” Peter leapt up from your bed and raced over to embrace you once again. “Thank you, so much, (Y/N)! Thanks for being such a great friend and—and helping me and WOOH!” he whooped as he skipped to grab his bag. “I’m gonna go scope out some places…”
As he squeezed through the window you chuckled, “Okay…” That nagging feeling began to creep up on you, and you put your head in your hands. You knew the petty thoughts would begin to fill your mind soon.
You knew you shouldn’t feel jealous. You knew there was nothing you could do to change his mind. But you couldn’t stop it. You were mad at yourself for believing you could ever compete with a girl like Liz Allen. You hated having these feelings of envy and betrayal, because you knew they were futile. It was pointless; this was only going to make you feel even worse.
Okay, you told yourself. Calm down, stop thinking like that. Just be happy that he finally got his chance with Liz. Repeating this over and over didn’t help. Okay… Maybe the date will go bad— NO! No, God, why even think like that?! Okay, maybe the date will be okay but Peter will figure out he doesn’t really like her? Ugh why am I LIKE this?! You felt completely horrible when you realized you actually found solace in that last thought. Deciding you needed to just distract yourself before you could torment yourself any further, you turned back to your notebook with a sigh.
Four weeks and five dates later, wherever you saw Peter, there was Liz. Your one solace, your one hope had fallen through. Peter had begun to hang with you and Ned less and less as the weeks went by. His spontaneous midnight visits had stopped altogether, and sometimes wouldn’t even answer your texts for a good few days.
Distractions were helping less and less as well. No matter how many songs you blasted in your ear, or how many fanfics you poured over each night, or late night calls with Ned about any movie you two could find; the envy kept gnawing away at you. But poor sweet Ned. You finally broke and confided to him; keeping it in was just too much. And try as he might to help you try to get over it and keep you distracted and happy, you both knew nothing was enough.
It also didn’t help that Liz would often come to Peter when he was at his locker. Right next to yours. Even though they tried to keep their voices down to small murmurs, you could hear every sickening and sappy word pouring from their mouths.
“God, I think I love you.”
You froze, gripping the textbook as if it were your composure. That phrase had managed to slip through all the ambient noise and ruckus echoing through the hallway and reach your ears. How many times had you wished to hear those words from him, only for them to be meant for someone else?
Well you certainly didn’t hear much after that. You didn’t hear Liz’s reply, or Ned’s greeting, or your locker slam. The only thing that your ears registered was your booming heartbeat. You felt your whole body heat up, searing with anger and jealousy. You wandered away from your locker, away from them. Meandering through the crowd of students, you couldn’t think of where to go or what to do.
An obnoxious voice broke through the pulsing in your ear.
“Hurry up, move it, (Y/N)!” Flash complained as he breezed past you. “What’re you waiting for? Your imaginary boyfriend to become real?” he jeered.
A sudden drive and confidence took over you, fueled by the anger and jealousy coursing through your veins. You knew what you wanted. You wanted to make Peter hurt. Hurt like you were. And you knew just how to do it.
“Well that’s up to you, Flash!” you called. Flash whipped around, confused. It morphed into amused as you jogged over to him.
“What do you mean?” he crossed his arms.
“Pick me up, my place, Friday at seven,” you challenged. Flash’s face dropped into bewilderment. “Wear something nice,” you added, brushing past. “I expect to be wowed.” As you pushed open the school doors, smirking, you could perfectly hear the shock that rippled through the silence of the hallway. This was certainly one way to get over it.
*tap tap tap*
You startled up from your chair, not sure if you had really heard it. You went over to your window and opened the blinds revealing the red and blue figure. Sliding it open, you leaned out on your elbows, blocking him from coming in but opening yourself to conversation.
“Hey,” Peter breathed.
He shuffled anxiously, tugging at the mask in his hands, “Can I talk to you?”
You shrugged, “I’m listening.”
“Why—” Peter took a deep breath. “Why’d you ask out Flash?” he timidly asked.
You stiffened. “Because.” Guilt started to take the place of resentment in your gut, but you shoved it away. You could tell he was concerned about you doing something so out of character and ridiculous on all accounts. However you refused to sway from your choice. You weren’t going to to back to sitting around moping about how he was with Liz.
“Because why?” he demanded.
“Because I can and I did.”
“But when were you interested in Flash?”
“When was it your business?”
“Since you’re my friend!”
You scoffed, hurt. “Am I?”
Peter squinted at you, “Y-Yeah. Wh—Why do you have to ask?”
“‘Cause it doesn’t feel like I’ve been!” you cried. The rest of your anger was spilling out, but with a different tone this time. This wasn’t a revenge thing or a spur of the moment vent-all-your-feelings session. This was everything that was buried deep, everything that wasn’t revealed to Ned, everything that really hurt.
“You’ve constantly ditched on stuff ‘cause you’d rather go to something else with Liz! You’ve left me and Ned hanging countless times. If it was because of Spiderman stuff, then I’d be more understanding, but it isn’t. You’ve just replaced your true friends with the girl you’ve been oogling for years!” your voice rose several octaves. “You never reply when we text, and you never answer when I need you or even when Ned does! So no, Peter, it doesn’t feel like I’m your friend anymore.”
Neither of you moved, too stunned by the words floating in the thick tension between you.
“So this is a jealousy thing.”
“What?!” you screeched. “That literally has nothing to do with what I just said—”
“No! No no no, it does!” Peter retorted. “You’re jealous because I’m spending more time with her, I get it—”
“No. You don’t.”
“No, I do! Look, I’m sorry if I’m not spending every waking moment with you guys like I used to, but it doesn’t mean we’re not friends anymore.”
“NO!” you cried. “No, Peter! It’s not because we’re not hanging out as much, it’s because we’re not hanging out at all. You’re always so distant with us now and you ignore us and—”
“I don’t ignore you guys!”
“Uh, yeah you do—”
“If I did, then I wouldn’t know that you asked Flash out, and I wouldn’t be here asking why the hell you’d ever do that!”
“Again, what the hell does it matter to you?!”
“He’s a douche!” Peter flailed his arms. “He’s an arrogant, spoiled asshole who’s so insecure that he goes around teasing people. He even teases you, (Y/N)! And you asked himout?!” He howled. Peter took a step towards your window, and you withdrew a little. “He doesn’t deserve you, (Y/N), and you don’t deserve to put up with that piece of shit—”
“You know what?” you glared at Peter, seething, blood boiling for the second time that day. “Yeah, you’re right: he’s a piece of shit who only cares about himself. But I bet he’s still gonna be a better shitty friend than you’ve been this entire month.”
Peter took a step back, appalled at what he was hearing. He pursed his lips and dropped his eyes to the ground. “Maybe we just shouldn’t be friends anymore,” he whispered.
You reached up for your window and numbly slid it shut. Knowing he could still hear you, you muttered as you closed your blinds, “I thought we already weren’t.”
Summary: You have a friend with benefits relationship with the Winter Soldier himself: Bucky Barnes. You two have gotten the routine down: wake up, train, mission, come home, have sex, then act like nothing happened. It’s worked for you for a while now. But now that Bucky’s starting to see someone seriously, you don’t know what to do with yourself.
A/N: Final chapter! Woooooo! I’m glad you all enjoyed this series! Many thanks!
Bucky was watching you again as you slept. Your naked form curled into his side. Was this wrong? Technically, he and Mellie did just break up an hour or two prior this. But he couldn’t help it. Just you being the usual light of his life, with your smile and laugh, Bucky had to have you.
After the deed was done, Bucky came to the final conclusion: he loved you. Sure, he cared for Mellie and he really did like her a lot, but he always found himself mentally comparing her to you. He thought it was just because you were the person to help him become the man he is now. But now he realized it was because he cared for you much deeper than a friend.
You were sound asleep, so Bucky decided to slip away. He needed to tell Mellie what he decision was. He picked up his clothes off the floor and quickly put them on. With a final glance to you, he closed the door behind him. He first wanted to get some water before going to Mellie. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Steve there.
Anon request: Can you do a bts reaction where they are head over heels over you but you are dating some other member who comes and tells them (flustered) that he had sex with you? For example: Jhope comes and tells Namjoon (who loves you) that he had sex with you. Plsssss🙏🙏 Thnx in advance 🙌🙆
The Girl from Around the Block-Lip Gallagher Imagine
Warnings: some sensuality and language (Shameless imagine, don’t be surprised)
Lip didn’t have many strictly platonic friendships with other girls. In fact, he never considered he was capable of having a relationship with a female that didn’t involve them screwing into oblivion. But Y/N Y/L/N was different. For one thing, they’ve known each other since they were two years old, when Fiona and Hailey, Y/N’s older sister, arranged a play date for the two of them. They bonded over a love of Legos and had been friends ever since. He helped her with homework and she helped him get out of trouble when trying to persuade him from getting into it failed. He taught her how to smoke and she taught him how to play the piano. They were perfect for each other but neither of them would admit it.
“Come on, Lip, you’re telling me that you’ve never thought of asking Y/N out?” Ian asked.
They were smoking on their porch in the hot Chicago summer. Ian had the day off from work and Lip was still thinking up his latest scheme to make money fast.
“Y/N’s like a sister to me, you know. You don’t f—k your sister,” Lip said. “We aren’t royalty or anything.”
Ian laughed. “Well, I’m pretty sure Y/N’s thought of f—cking you, you can see it in her eyes.”
“Shut up.” Lip smacked Ian in the chest, making the ginger laugh.
“Oh, that hurt so bad. Can’t you hit harder, pussy?”
And that led to them wrestling jokingly, making Debbie roll her eyes inside and Carl begin cheering them on. Once they stopped (ie: when Ian pinned Lip down in their front yard), Lip sighed.
“For the record, I let you win.”
“Yeah, whatever.” Ian’s smile disappeared and he looked serious. “So, you’d really never consider getting with Y/N?”
Lip rolled his eyes and shoved Ian off of him. “If you’re so into her, why don’t you date her?” “Because I’m gay.”
“Oh yeah, use that excuse.” Lip took another long drag of his cigarette as he stood. “Look, Y/N’s a cool girl and stuff but I can’t see us being serious. I mean, we used to take baths together and I had the pleasure of being the only person with her when she first got her period. There’s too much history.”
As the words left his mouth, Lip knew he was lying to himself. He knew that he was madly in love with his best friend who somehow managed to be sweet but scrappy when it came to defending herself or any of the Gallaghers. Plus, there was the way she threw her head back when she laughed really hard, making her gorgeous y/h/c locks flow around her. Then, there was the way she’d scrunch up her nose whenever she was confused about a homework question. Plus, she was the one who first confronted him about Karen, telling him that he shouldn’t take her kind of bullsh-t anymore. Also, her y/e/c eyes would light up whenever she was staring out at Lake Michigan and she would jump whenever someone/something freaked her out.
Ian glanced behind Lip. “Too much history, huh?”
“Then you wouldn’t be too upset at the view behind you right now.”
Lip turned around and what he saw nearly made him drop his cigarette. Across the street, standing on the corner, was none other than Y/N smiling widely as she kissed Will Brooks.
“What’s she doing with him?” Lip asked.
“Well, Lip, it appears as though they’re making out. It probably has to do with the fact that she’s had a crush on him since second semester,” Ian said.
“How the f–k do you know all that?”
“Because I’m the gay friend she tells all this to,” Ian said. “And I can’t blame her. Will is the star of the basketball team, has muscles for days, and is the literal definition of tall, dark, and handsome.”
“He’s an idiot. He thought that a square should count as a rhombus in geometry,” Lip muttered.
“Someone sounds jealous,” Ian sang.
“Shut up,” he hissed.
But the green monster was making his blood boil as he watched Y/N laugh at something Will said before hitting his arm playfully. Her smile was beautiful and genuine, if only she was smiling that way for Lip. She kissed Will one last time before circling around him and heading down the street. However, Will didn’t let her get by before swatting her butt and making her jump. Lip could’ve strangled him right then and there.
“Lip, Ian, you are not going to believe what just happened!” Y/N said when she got up to them.
“You got syphilis from that idiot?” Lip asked.
Y/N frowned. “No, but Will did just take me out.”
“Where?” Ian smiled widely and crossed his arms just to spite Lip.
“He took me to lunch and then we walked along Navy Pier, just talking. Your advice worked, Ian!” Y/N squealed as she hugged him.
“Wait, you gave her advice on this?” Lip asked.
“It’s what the gay best friend does,” Ian said.
Y/N turned to Lip and frowned. “Why are you getting so upset about this?”
“Because you didn’t tell me about it.”
“I didn’t think you’d care if I went out with Will. It’s nothing serious.”
“But it might be. The Bulls are looking at Will to draft him. I hear he’s going to be Chicago’s Kobe Bryant.”
“This is the Bulls were talking about, Ian,” Lip said. “Besides, Will get a new girl every week, you should probably just forget about him.”
“For your information, Mr. Negative, we’re actually going out again tomorrow night. He got us Bulls tickets!” “Nosebleeds?” Lip asked.
“Nope, near the floor, center court!” Y/N grinned. “I can’t believe this is happening. I never thought that Will would ever notice me.”
“How could he not? You’re gorgeous,” Ian said.
“Just be careful, okay. I don’t like the guy.”
“You don’t like many guys, Lip. Besides, you should be happy for me. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll get you court-side seats to see the Bulls.”
“No thanks, I’m good.” Lip threw his cigarette down and snuffed it out with his boot. “I’m gonna go take care of some business.”
“What business?” Y/N asked as she began following him down the sidewalk.
“My usual business with Kev,” Lip said.
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Lip, you can’t do that. You’re already high up on the cop’s radar, right behind Carl.”
“I’ve been doing this since we were fourteen, Y/N, I know what I’m doing.”
“But you getting arrested could f—k up your chances with MIT or U of Chicago or any other fancy school,” Y/N argued.
“Hey, why don’t you worry about what dress you’re gonna wear to see Will again and I’ll worry about my future, alright?” Lip snapped.
Y/N flinched at his words. They had had arguments before, but he never got this mean with her. “What’s your problem, Lip? Are you on the rag?”
“No, just leave me alone.”
“Fine, come around the block when you decide to stop being such a jackass,” Y/N said.
Though her words were sharp, she sounded hurt and it hurt Lip that he had hurt his best friend. As much as he wanted to admit why he was really angry with Y/N, he was too prideful and scared of her reaction to say anything.
For two weeks, Y/N didn’t come by to see the Gallaghers nor did Lip try to go up around the block to see her. Fiona, Ian, Debbie, Carl, Kev, and V did their best not to mention her name whenever Lip was around. But ever since their fight, Lip had begun drinking and smoking more. He was miserable. However, everything came to a head when Fiona confronted him one day.
“Alright, Lip, go talk to her,” Fiona said.
Lip was sitting in the kitchen, drinking coffee while Fiona and Debbie were making breakfast.
“You heard her, we’re sick of seeing you moping around all the time and drunk you is only so entertaining,” Debbie said.
“I don’t want to talk to her. Besides, the only person she’s interested in talking to is Will.” Lip spat out the boy’s name.
“That’s not true,” Ian said as he walked into the kitchen with Liam in his arms, “she talks to me all the time.”
“If I want to talk to her, I’ll talk to her, alright? Can we stop f—king talking about her?” Lip snapped.
Fiona set a plate of eggs and bacon in front of Lip and bent down to his level. “Lip, I know you’ve been in love with Y/N pretty much since the day you met and it must be killing you that you fought and that she’s with Will—”
“Will Brooks? He’s a babe,” Debbie said.
Fiona, Ian, and Lip collectively shot her a look that made her instantly regret her words.
Fiona sighed. “But you need to man up and talk to her. I know this is gonna be hard comin’ from me but I know love when I see it.”
Lip groaned. “She’s not gonna forgive me.”
“She will, we’ve all had to,” Ian said.
Lip playfully shoved him before taking a long swig of coffee. “I’ll be right back.”
“That’s my boy,” V said as she entered the kitchen from the rear entrance.
“Did you hear all of that?” Ian asked.
“For the most part. Please go talk to that girl, I’m sick of seeing you look more pissed off than usual.”
Lip laughed. “I will, see ya, V.”
As he left the house, Lip began going over everything he could possibly say to make everything up to Y/N.
“Hey, Y/N, I’m sorry for being a dick and getting pissed about you and Will. I’m sure the NBA accepts idiots too—no, can’t say that, she’ll get pissed that I insulted him. Y/N, I’m sorry for being a dick and I’m really happy for you and Will. Maybe the Bulls will start winning if he joins. Yeah, that’s better.” Lip paused. “Y/N, you probably hate me, but we have to talk…”
“I thought that only crazy people talked to themselves,” Mandy said as she strolled up to Lip.
“Oh, hey, Mandy,” he said.
She was wearing a tight black tank top and short denim cut offs. They had a short-lived fling but decided that they were better off as friends. Besides Ian and Lip, Mandy was Y/N’s closest friend.
“I’m guessing that you’re off to talk to Y/N,” Mandy said.
“Yeah, I said some real sh-tty stuff to her and she didn’t deserve it.”
“She never does,” Mandy said. “It’s just too bad about her and Will.”
Lip frowned. “What happened?”
“You didn’t hear? She found out that he’s been cheating on her ever since they got together. I offered to have my brothers beat him up for her, but she said it wasn’t worth it. I haven’t seen her around in a long time.”
“Yeah, so whatever you have to say to her, don’t f-ck up.”
As Lip walked away from Mandy, he was both elated and furious. He could beat Will’s face in for what he did to Y/N but at the same time, he was ecstatic that she was single again. Now he really had to perfect what he was gonna say.
“Y/N, I’m sorry about what happened between us. You didn’t deserve it and I was just being a dick. I’m also sorry about what happened between you and Will. He deserves to get the sh-t beat out of him.” Lip sighed. “And…and I got so mad about the whole Will thing because, you’re like a sister to me and I didn’t want to lose my sister or my friend…the friend I’ve been in love with since we were two.”
At this point, Lip was standing in front of the Y/L/N’s house. Mr. Y/L/N was most likely back at work in the loan office and Mrs. Y/L/N was off being a maid in the W Hotel. Whether or not Hailey was home was a bit of a toss up since she would skip class more than Lip did. The navy, two-story house seemed a lot bigger than it usually did and part of Lip wanted to turn around and run away.
“Don’t be a pussy,” he muttered.
He walked up the front steps and knocked on the door.
Seconds later, a dog was barking and Hailey was yelling at it.
“Geez!” she blew a piece of dark hair out of her eyes and narrowed them once she saw Lip. “Lip.”
The barking Rottweiler stopped when he saw Lip and began licking all over his face.
“Hi, Buster,” Lip said as he scratched the dog. “I’ve missed you.”
“Well, he’s missed you too, I don’t know if I can say the same for Y/N,” Hailey said.
Lip sighed as he straightened up. “Look, I know I f-cked up majorly with Y/N and I’m sorry. I just want to apologize and if she doesn’t want to be friends with me anymore, that’s fine, I’ll understand. Is she okay?”
Hailey’s e/c eyes softened slightly at Lip’s words but she kept a tense body language. “She’d be better off if that idiot hadn’t cheated on her weeks after she lost her best friend. But she’ll get through it, she’s tough.”
“I know, is she here?”
Hailey pursed her lips. “That Will guy might’ve hurt her but you really broke her heart, you know that, Gallagher?”
“I could kill you for how much you made her cry and then Will on top of that—” Hailey breathed.
“And I’ll do my best to never make her cry again. Believe me, the last thing I want is to hurt her.”
Lip hoped his sincerity showed through since Hailey was one of the most stubborn people when it came to protecting her family and doing what she thought was right.
“She went to the Symphony. They let her listen to the music from the entry way as long as she doesn’t disturb anyone.”
“Thanks, Hailey, I really appreciate it.”
The L couldn’t have operated any slower that day, which made Lip even more anxious. He began chain smoking, hoping it would help him think more, but it didn’t. It calmed him down a little, but he still had no idea what he was going to say to her. Fortunately, downtown wasn’t very crowded and it was easy for him to find his way to the Symphony. Sure enough, Y/N was sitting near one of the door, cross-legged, listening intently to the passionate music. She looked gorgeous though she was wearing a simple white summer dress that went off the shoulders. Her hair was twisted up into a pretty bun on top of her head and her back was facing Lip.
He carefully walked up to her, his mind racing with words.
“Mind if I join you?” Y/N gestured for him to sit without turning away from the door. Her eyes were puffy and he could tell that she had been crying.
“Oh, right, sorry.” Lip managed to say quiet for five more seconds before saying, “no, you know what, f-ck the music, you can get this sh–t on YouTube or iTunes. We need to talk.”
“Keep your voice down or we’ll get kicked out,” Y/N said quietly.
“Fine, but at least look at me when I talk?” Y/N hesitated before turning to Lip. “Talk.”
Lip paused. Everything he had rehearsed seem to leave his mind. “You’re beautiful.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “Go away, Lip.”
“No, I’m serious. Even though that a—hole made you cry and did all that to you, you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Always have been.”
There was a long pause between them but Y/N looked stunned.
“Is that all you have to say to me?”
“No, I’m sorry about what happened between us. I shouldn’t have gotten so pissed off about you and that jerk.”
“You were a real jackass,” Y/N muttered.
“I know, and you didn’t deserve that. And I’m sorry about what happened—-no, you know what, f-ck that, I’m not sorry. He didn’t deserve to be with you because you are amazing and sweet and talented and tough and strong. He doesn’t deserve to breathe the same air as you and neither do I.”
Y/N looked stunned but suddenly looked dejected. “If I’m all those things, why did he cheat on me with Ashley Opperman, Jane Henkins, Mariah Little, Penny Gilbert, Vanessa Langley, and Iman Ashton?”
“Because he’s an idiot who’s probably trying to get the clap if he got anywhere near Vanessa Langley,” Lip said.
Y/N smiled. “I think she’s had ever STD under the sun besides AIDs.”
Lip smiled. “I’m so sorry about everything that happened between us, Y/N. Is there any way you could forgive me?” Y/N jokingly tapped her finger against her chin. “If you teach me how make things explode using that fancy technical vocabulary, maybe.”
“And you help me pass my ACT.”
“And you come to my piano concerts.”
“I already do.”
“Then you’ll have to play something less boring.”
They jokingly shook hands before Y/N wrapped her arms around Lip and basically fell into his lap. He immediately pulled her close, inhaling her sweet scent.
“I’ve missed this,” she whispered.
“I love you.”
They both froze. Lip couldn’t have said that any less smoothly if he tried. He couldn’t believe that he had blurted it out like that.
Y/N pulled away slowly and looked at him with wide eyes. “Lip?”
“I’ve loved you since we first met and I fell in love with you around the same time, I think. It drove me crazy seeing you with Will and I’m sorry I was so mean to you. If you don’t feel the same way then—”
Lip was cut off as Y/N pressed her lips against his. He immediately pulled her closer as he kissed back. All those emotions they had for the past sixteen years came out in that exchange. They were so caught up they not only forgot where they were but also that they would need to pull away for air.
“Eh hem.” An elderly security guard looked at them with distaste.
“What’s your problem?” Lip asked.
“Sorry, Ivan, we’ll be leaving now.”
“No, that’s fine, Y/N, just try to ease up on all of that.” Ivan gestured to their current position.
“You got it, Ivan.”
He wandered away and Lip pulled Y/N into him again.
“So, I’m guessing you like me too?”
“No, I love you, I thought as smart as you are, you would’ve caught onto that when we were at least four,” Y/N teased.
“Well, I’m smart enough to never let you go again.”
And that was how after many years, Lip Gallagher ended up with the girl from around the block.

I love how you write my fluff ideas so I have one!! 😂😂 You and Shawn went to the same school and hated each other so much. you two never got along (of course you were into each other) and in a school trip, your were forced to share bedrooms because of a problem. Both always shouting at each other, throwing things but one day you were fighting and Shawn shuts you up with a kiss so rough so hard but so passionate, you literally melt in his arms…❤️😊
Authors note: so there’s going to be 2 parts cos there is so much I have to write- please tell me what you think because I’m legit on the fence and contemplating deleting
“I have to WHAT?” My jaw drops open in surprise. I stare into the room from the door, two single beds taking up most of the room.
“I’m truly sorry about this Y/n, but because you signed up so late for the summer camp, Shawn’s room was the only one left with a spare bed available”. Michelle, the camp leader, tells me, sending a sympathetic smile my way.
“How does this, I can’t.. What?” I don’t understand how I ended up in this situation. I had to spend 2 weeks at a camp that I had no interest in being at. My Mother had signed me up because she didn’t want me- I quote -‘to be on my dang phone the
whole summer’. I took the last spot available, two days before camp began. Because of how late notice it was- I was forced to share a room with a boy. Not just a boy but a boy I hated with my entire being. Shawn Mendes.
“We trust that putting both you and Shawn in a room won’t cause any, uh, hassles…” Michelle fiddles awkwardly, the young camp leader equally uncomfortable at telling two 17 year old’s not to get with each other over the two weeks of sharing a room. The thought made me laugh. Like I would ever want to get with Shawn.
“I didn’t think that this would be allowed- isn’t there camp policies?” I ask, gesturing between Shawn and I. My gaze flicks over to Shawn for the first time since I got here. I can’t help but admit that he did look good in the black nike shorts he was wearing, and the t-shirt adorning his figure enhanced his muscular chest.
I shake my head, I was supposed to be hating this guy- not picturing what he’d look like without a shirt.
“It isn’t.” Michelle giggles- her fair complexion suited the airy laugh she had. “But your Mum was so insistent on having you at camp that we agreed- as long as you both agreed not to do anything inappropriate”.
“Like I’d ever do anything like that with Y/n”. Shawn rolls his eyes and I send him an icy glare.
“Shut up Shawn, like you’d get any if you even tried.” I hiss, walking past him and dumping my bag on the bed yet to be covered with linen.
“Well I’m just going to head off now- check on other campers, lunch is served at 1 in the dining hall!” Michelle cheers, smiling at us before shutting the door quickly. It was like she could sense a fight which of course, was inevitably coming. Shawn and I had been going to school together since we were 15 and over the past 3 years we had never gotten along. Not once.
I grab out my bed sheets from the bag and begin the laborious process of making my bed. I feel Shawn’s eyes on me and I look at him to see him smirking.
“What?” I snap, moving around to the other side of the bed to tuck the sheet in.
“Nothing, well, I just find it funny that you think if I tried anything that you thought you would be able to resist me.”
I scoff, grabbing out my doona. “You’re insane, Shawn.”
“Says you,” he scowls, beginning to unpack his own bag.
“What are you trying to say Shawn?” I glare at him, chucking the quilt over my bed.
“Just that I don’t know how I got stuck with you.” He shrugs his shoulders.
“You think I asked to get put in a room with you? News flash Shawn- I don’t even want to be here!” He stares at me for a moment, the silencing engulfing the room.
I sigh, leaving my bag open on the floor and grabbing my camper’s pass. “I’m leaving, it’s nearly one.”
“I don’t care.” Shawn mutters, his back to me.
“Shut up Shawn,” I call to him over my shoulder before slamming the door shut to our cabin.
Its going to be a long 2 weeks.
The only good thing about camp so far was that my friend Ally had been forced to go along as well by her parents- her parents having the same reason as my Mum, that we needed to get ‘fresh air’.
Now I was sitting on a table with five other girls who we had been making conversation with.
“Hey Y/n, Shawn 2 o’clock,” Ally elbows me and I groan softly, digging my fork into my baked potato angrily.
“Whoa, girl, that baked potato doesn’t deserve your anger,” Naomi, Ally’s room mate, teases me. Even though I had only met her around 20 minutes ago, Naomi and I were developing a fast friendship.
“Its Shawn that’s got her so worked up.” Ally giggles and that one comment catches the whole table’s attention.
“Is Shawn your boyfriend Y/n?” Jordan, a short strawberry blonde sitting across the table, asks me.
“No!” I say quickly and Ally laughs.
“Shawn and Y/n are room mates for camp,” Ally tells the group, a lock of shock across most of their faces.
“Who’s Shawn?” Lacey asks, twirling her brown hair around her fingers- a habit I discovered that she did a lot.
“The one in the black shorts and t-shirt, dark brown hair.” Ally points him out.
“Damn girl, why aren’t you dating him?” Naomi asks, her eyes twinkling with humor.
“Don’t try me right now.” I point my fork at them all, Sarah and Jordan laughing at my reaction.
“They’re sworn enemies.” Ally continue to fill the group in.
“Damn right we are,” I comment, taking a bite of my baked potato.
“They also have insane sexual tension, trust me, you’ll feel it when they’re near each other-”
“Ally!” I yelp, slapping her arm which causes her to jump in surprise.
“Ow! Why would you do that?” She asks, frowning at me.
I ignore her question, looking at the girls who are all trying to hold back laughs.
“We don’t have any sexual tension guys, Ally’s just joking.” I say seriously.
“Don’t deny it Y/n, I mean Shawn is very good looking.” Naomi chuckles, winking at me. The girls nod, agreeing,
“Ugh, stop this is Shawn.” I shiver, my stomach flipping when I thought of Shawn’s curly hair and dark eyes.
“Honey, look at him- actually great time to look at him ‘cos he’s walking this way.” Naomi says. Her short dark curly hair bounces as she laughs at my shocked expression as I quickly turn to look over my shoulder where, of course, Shawn was walking straight towards me. A smirk appears on his face when he catches my gaze.
“Look at the time, got to go.” I rush, trying to get up.
“Nope, sit back down, I want to see this sexual tension live and in action.” Naomi tells me sternly, pulling my arm to sit me back down.
“Aw look at my little room mate, already made some friends,” Shawn ruffles my hair and I scowl at him, turning away from him to face forward, conveniently away from him.
“Don’t you have someone else to bother Shawn.” I growl at him, my body freezing as he leaned forward, one hand on the left side of me to grip onto the table to support his body as his chest pressed against my back. His other arm went over my right shoulder to grab a chunk of potato that I had previously cut off and chucking it into his mouth.
“You know I love to annoy you.” He smirks, licking his bottom lip.
“You know I love to hate you.” I smile sarcastically, tilting my head back to meet his eyes. “Now go away, you’ve had your fun.”
“Aw no please?” Shawn pouts, leaning closer so that his face was a few inches from mine and the familiar glare that Shawn must be so accustomed to returns to my face.
“Shut up Shawn.” I tell him, pushing his face away from mine.
“That’s her favorite thing to tell him.” I hear Ally whisper. I look back to see 6 pairs of eyes glued to Shawn and I. I give them all a warning look and everyone except Naomi and Ally return to their food.
“Ally was right, your sexual tension is crazy.” Naomi states bluntly and I feel my cheeks grow hot, Shawn’s body that was still pressed against my back was creating warning bells in my head.
“Right?” Shawn jokes, and the warning bells get louder. “We should hook up, doesn’t that sound like something we should do?” He teases, leaning closer to me again and the smell of his cologne was intoxicating and something that I shouldn’t be wanting more of.
“In your dreams Shawn.” I shove his hand off my shoulder.
“I know you will be.” He winks and my cheeks feel hotter then the sun, “How about you meet me in my room- around 9?” He grins cheekily and I roll my eyes.
“We’re sharing a room you idiot.” I mutter, resting my elbow on the table and placing my head in my hand.
“That makes everything easier then,” He grins, and a few of the other girls on the table giggle in response. I feel my stomach twist in annoyance.
“Just leave me alone Shawn.” I push my chair back and he moves out of the way to avoid getting hit.
“No can do Sweetheart.” He grins again and I clench my hands into fists.
“I’m not going to say this again. Leave. Me. Alone. I don’t like you, you don’t like me so just can we ignore each other for lets say, the rest of these two weeks? Agreed? Perfect.” I don’t give him a chance to respond before turning away, saying a quick ‘see you later’ to the girls before leaving the dinning hall.
CW: coming out (more or less voluntary), pining, meddling friends, nosy mothers
Jack rushed into the kitchen with wild eyes and uncombed hair. It was Saturday, which Bitty knew was the only day of the week he allowed himself to sleep in. Jack hadn’t even changed out of his pajamas, and he was adorably rumpled as he slammed his palms down on the counter and stared at Bitty.
“My mother is coming into town next week,” he hissed, glaring like Bitty himself were responsible.
“Okay?” Bitty turned the heat off of the stove where he’d been cooking up a mountain of eggs. It was absurd how many eggs a handful of college athletes could eat in one setting. “Your mama seems like a lovely lady. Do we need to clean the Haus? Put Shitty in suspenders so he won’t magically lose his pants while she’s here?”
“I don’t understand why he has to drive me tonight, I can drive myself.”
Jason sighed through the phone, “(Y/N), you’re a terrible driver. Which explains why your license got suspended.” You rolled your eyes as you applied your lipstick. Tonight is Damian’s birthday party and he doesn’t know about the surprise. “Why couldn’t you drive me instead?” You asked.
“Because after you broke up all you two do now is go at each other’s throats, you should talk to him for real this time. You felt your cell phone vibrate and looked at the screen. You growled, Dick texted you saying he’s outside. You placed the phone back on your ear, “I gotta go,” You groaned, “He’s here.”
You both said your goodbyes and hung up. Deep down, you knew Jason was right. But there’s no point in talking to him, he has a new girl now. The same girl you caught him kissing on your bed.
And that same girl was your best friend.
Dick ran his fingers through his hair and looked at himself in the rearview mirror, fixing his tie and checking if there’s anything stuck in his teeth. Dick couldn’t believe Jason made him pick you up, he knew how much you despise him for what he didn’t do.
If only you’d just talked to him, then he could finally explain what happened. After checking himself out, he looked out the passenger window. His eyebrows shot up when he saw you walk down the steps of your apartment building. You looked like a goddess as the wind blew your long blue dress in the perfect angle, showing your beautiful legs.
Dick chuckled, “She just had to wear blue, huh?” He muttered.
He grinned when you opened the car. You quickly slid inside without a word, folding your arms as you looked straight ahead. Dick’s face fell into a frown, he felt a pang in his chest when you didn’t see him smile. He gulped, “Um…hi.”
“Just start the car.” You deadpanned, eyes looking straight out the window.
Dick sighed, “Okay then.” You two sat in uncomfortable silence as he drove by the woods. You wanted so badly to arrive at the manor and get the heck out of his car. You looked through the corner of your eye’s and bit your lip, he looks so good in a tux.
You looked back out the window when he finally spoke, “You’re wearing blue I see.”
“Not for you, that’s for sure.” You said icily, finally turning your head to look at him. That was a complete lie. You did wear blue for him, just to see if it got his attention. Ever since you broke it off with him you had a weird obsession with the color blue.
Dick glanced at you, giving you an are you serious look, “I didn’t say that I just wanted to say you look….beautiful tonight.”
“Ha! Beautiful my ass! You didn’t think so when you kissed my best friend!” You snapped.
You gasped when he swiveled the car into the woods, “What the hell, Dick!” You cried out, back hitting your car seat. You hand automatically gripped his shoulder. Dick drove full speed into the woods just barely crashing into the trees
You quickly snatched you hand off his shoulder when he stopped the car. He put it in park and turned his entire body to face you. “Do you really believe I would do that to you?” He growled, “Why can’t you be smart for once and understand that it’s not what you think!?”
You laughed sarcastically, ignoring your already fast beating heart, “So you think I’m stupid now!?” You took off your seatbelt so you can lean over to him and jab his chest with your finger, “I’m not the one who cheated!” You hissed.
He grabbed your wrist, “I didn’t say you were stupid!” He snarled, “And I didn’t cheat!”
