Want to get to know Japanese cooking? Japanese basic 1 class is a great start! teriyaki, tempura, miso soup… you can learn all your favorite Japanese meal in one day!
Japanese Basics I offers an introduction into the fundamentals of Japanese home-style cooking. Upon completion of this class you will gain knowledge of the essential Japanese seasonings and basic cooking techniques. I also make the menu more flexible, for example, you will get to know two ways of cooking tofu teriyaki and goma ae. so you can choose the cooking method you prefer at home.
Some examples include:
- Understand Japanese basic seasonings - you will be suprised to see why even seasoining are so healthy in Japanese cuisine
- How to balance the meal
- How to cook authentic rice
- How to make vegetarian dashi stock
- Miso soup ( using home made dashi / powdered dashi) 2 ways
- Cooking Teriyaki tofu in 2 ways
- Making Goma ae (2 ways) – Japanese style traditional salad
- Cooking “ no fail” crispy egg free vegetable Tempura served with dipping sauce and condiments to balance the oily food in our body

Even though it’s winter here in Melbourne, I enjoy my smoothies and smoothie bowls all year around. To make this you will need to blend @vitamix_aunz @vitamix the following:
1 cup coconut water @naturalrawc
1 cup frozen organic mango
1 organic banana fresh or frozen
1 tbsp fresh organic tumeric
1 tsp fresh organic ginger
Top with slices of organic strawberries, organic golden kiwi, passion fruit, organic chia seeds, organic quinoa puffs, organic coconut and a few leaves off my new little organic mint plants - p.s. It was so yummy ⭐️⭐️⭐️
