I don’t know why I was shaking so badly, your my best friend thats always there for me, and part of the family I have needed for so long in my life. I hope I didn’t embarrass myself, but I am so glad to finally get to meet you and get a hug! It meant so much more than you will ever realize, and I am forever grateful that you exist. Who knows maybe we will meet again someday!

Celaena Sardothien in ToG7

We keep saying Celaena Sardothien is gone. That she is dead and with Sam.
But even so, Celaena shows up time and time again.

When she talked with Arobynn
When she talked with Rolfe
When she “learned” about Arobynn’s death
Even a little bit when she fought the Valg in the Pits

So really, Celaena isn’t dead, she just is dormant.
And because of this, I don’t think it will be Aelin who Rowan finds when he goes to save her from Maeve. Instead, he will find Celaena.
Now, this distinction is key, because Celaena is the person who endured Endovier, who could survive the darkness and the whipping. She is the one who has endured the pain that Maeve will make her go through. Not Aelin.

Aelin became Celaena to save herself and her Kingdom and to survive. So I think, to save her kingdom as she has done before. And to survive, I think Aelin will become Celaena. I think that is who will emerge from the iron coffin and who we will meet when ToG7 comes.

im not a fan of Matt/Allura but seeing people erase his attraction to her in favor of literally editing her out of her own scenes is again, the same racist fandom bs I sit through in pretty much any show involving a black girl/woman.

yall cant stand it. Seeing someone fawn over a black person boils your blood. It irritates the shit out of yall.

Its literally been one day and i have already seen post where it was either shiro or lance he was actually looking at or pissing and raging over the fact that Matt dared to be sexually attracted to Allura while Shiro and Lance stood right there.

Allura is a beautiful and I hope the show continues to recognize that and that it continues to allow little black kids to seem themselves as the beautiful princess/it girl that I never got to see when I was a kid.

What if instead of one soulmate, there is a select group of people who we meet at various points in our lives, and these people ALL have the capability of becoming our soulmate, it just depends on timings and circumstance. That guy in the grocery store, or the girl in the back of class. All of them.

Season 7.

The scene opens on the Swan-Jones house. We go into the house. It looks different than before – actually well-lived in now. Books and toys are scattered about and pictures hang on the walls. The camera pans past some of these pictures. There are obvious ones hanging like Emma and Killian’s wedding photos, Emma and David by the Sheriff’s car, but there are new ones, as well. Emma and Hook in the hospital room cradling a small bundle, happy and exhausted grins on their faces. There’s Henry in a graduation robe, flanked by both Emma and Regina. There’s a shot of Regina with a mystery character we haven’t seen together, clearly at their own wedding. There’s even Belle with Gideon, smiling happily. Basically, a few years have passed, and it’s been a good few years.

We hear a squeal, and the scene turns to Emma and Hook preparing a child for bed. Emma’s phone rings, and she learns that there’s a crisis on the docks. Looks like it’s a job for the Sheriff.

“Sure you don’t need backup, love?”

“Please, after the demagorgon last month, this is gonna be a cakewalk. Sure you can handle bedtime?”

“It’ll be a cake walk.”

They kiss, and Emma goes off to save the day. Because she’s Emma Swan, ass-kicker extraordinaire.

We stick with Killian and little Swan-Jones. It’s story time, and the kid holds up a “Once Upon a Time” book. They begin to flip through it, and we realize that this book is different. There are new stories than what we’ve seen.

“Your brother’s been busy, but how about I tell you about a story that isn’t in your brother’s book.”

The kid’s eyes go wide. It’s interested.

“You see, Once Upon a Time, your Aunt Regina…”

And there we go. It’s a new season. The season is literally this story featuring everyone who is coming back. There can be flashbacks within flashbacks. Emma doesn’t die. She’s off kicking ass. We learn that most everyone gets their HEA/HB. If there’s a season after that, it’s another story. The series ends with Hook telling the kid to go to sleep, tomorrow is a big day, after all.

“It’s your Mum’s birthday.”

If we get JMo to come back, the scene cuts to her party at Granny’s. Everyone is there. Henry is wearing a college sweatshirt. Snow and Charming are there. Regina is being her fabulous self with her love interest, who we meet in the story, by her side. Emma, surrounded by her family and friends, blows out the candle. We go full circle.

Mcgonagall doesn't abuse her children in class, but she abuses them outside of it. She lets the weasleys boo and heckle first years. She let the marauders reign terror on the entire school on general, edcalating to sexual assault and attempted murder in particular. She punished a neuroatypical child for having memory problems by locking him out at night with a mass murderer on the loose. Am i the only one she scares, the only one who has flashbacks from such a biased teacher??

McGonagall is strict, but I would not say that she’s biased or abusive toward her students. And I say this as someone who is not neurotypical.

When we meet McGonagall, she breaks down into tears over Harry’s parents’ deaths and is extremely concerned for his well-being at the Dursleys.

And yet, she maintains an outward expression of complete neutrality.

There’s evidence to suggest that she has a soft spot for Harry, but she’s also not afraid to bawl him out when she believes he deserves it. She punishes him harshly for being out of bed after hours in PS, is “white-lipped and furious” over the troll incident, threatens to take additional points if they go anywhere near the Philosopher’s stone, rebukes them for the flying car incident, calls him out in Transfiguration class, and gives him detention for getting himself into trouble with Umbridge. This isn’t to say that she doesn’t stand up for Harry at times, but I believe she toes the line very well.

Was McGonagall’s punishment of Neville harsh? Perhaps. But from her perspective, Neville had foolishly written down the passwords and then lost the paper, making it almost laughably easy for a murderer to attack her students in their beds. Neither she nor Neville knew that Crookshanks had stolen the password list.

It’s worth mentioning that McGonagall is never described as targeting Neville. She’s quick to intervene when when Malfoy takes his Remembrall, is angry at Harry for getting Neville into trouble over the dragon (“I suppose you think it’s funny that Longbottom here heard the story and believed it, too?“), and doesn’t draw attention to his mistakes in the classroom. Which certainly can’t be said for several of Neville’s other professors, most notably Snape.

To cast McGonagall’s relationship with Neville in such a negative light seems to almost willfully ignore the HBP scene in which McGonagall defends Neville in no uncertain terms:

“Why do you want to continue with Transfiguration, anyway? I’ve never had the impression that you particularly enjoyed it."

Neville looked miserable and muttered something about "my grandmother wants."

"Hmph,” snorted Professor McGonagall. “It’s high time your grandmother learned to be proud of the grandson she’s got, rather than the one she thinks she ought to have - particularly after what happened at the Ministry."

Neville turned very pink and blinked confusedly; Professor McGonagall had never paid him a compliment before.

"I’m sorry, Longbottom, but I cannot let you into my N.E.W.T. class. I see that you have an ‘Exceeds Expectations’ in Charm however - why not try for a N.E.W.T. in Charms?"

"My grandmother thinks Charms is a soft option,” mumbled Neville.

“Take Charms,” said Professor McGonagall, “and I shall drop Augusta a line reminding her that just because she failed her Charms O.W.L., the subject is not necessarily worthless.”

As for McGonagall letting the Weasleys harass first years or the marauders “reign terror,” I would take issue with both the characterizations of the marauders/Weasleys general behavior as well as McGonagall’s ability to control it. For whatever else she is, McGonagall is human, and cannot be everywhere at once.

we think one of the greatest legacies in life is friendship. because sometimes life swirls you all up and knots people together for a reason. is that what you were feeling?

people change people. girl meets world. 2014-2017.

Unpopular Voltron opinion

Low key, even though I multiship like CRAZY, a part of me feels like it would be totally cool if none of them became canon at the end and everyone remains friends. Because that’s what Voltron is all about… the power of friendship… And low key (high key) we as beings are taught to over value romantic love like “ OMG!! you’re gonna be unhappy, unsuccessful or just straight miserable without it”, and… I just don’t buy into that. One of the best parts of life is who we meet and grow close as, who we value as people, who we get to experience in this short time we have, and I firmly believe that my friends have been the brightest shining forces in my life, and that’s the vibe I get from Team Voltron. That’s my unpopular opinion… blam, and I’m sticking to it!!

If you wouldn’t tell a complete stranger something, don’t tell Jensen and Jared.

Even more than that: if you wouldn’t be okay with a complete stranger coming up to you and telling you what you’re about to tell them???? DO. NOT. TELL. JENSEN. AND. JARED.

They are not your therapists.

They are not your friends.

Just because Jared has been somewhat open about his depression doesn’t mean he wants or needs to hear everyone’s life story.

Even something so seemingly small, something like “you’ve saved my life,” can weigh a thousand pounds. “I thought he would feel good about himself.” “I wanted to show him how important he is to me.” “Wouldn’t everyone want to hear that they’ve saved a life?”

How would you feel if a complete stranger walked up to you and told you that? How would you feel, thinking that you’re responsible for someone else’s life? Even if my absolute best friend told me “you’re the reason I haven’t killed myself,” I would NOT feel good. I would feel awful. I would feel like every single thing I say or do could possibly lead to someone else’s death. I’m not a perfect person, I don’t even consider myself a “good” person. I don’t want something that heavy resting on my shoulders.

And Jared (and Jensen) hear(s) this at pretty much every single con they go to, from multiple people. Who knows how many - we only know about the ones that make Jared physically have to take a break after hearing. (And considering none of us knew he struggled with depression until he told us? I’m guessing he’s good at not letting things like this show.)

Jared and Jensen are so fucking good to their fans. Please stop taking advantage of that for the sake of having a “moment” with them. You may want to show them how important they are to you, but there are ways to do that that don’t involve putting extra weight on their shoulders. They don’t deserve to walk away from cons with their hearts heavier than they arrived.
