who isn't real

It’s so bizarre to try and explain your love for a celebrity and why something horrendous happening to them (like losing a parent) affects you so much. But like, this person, without question /is part of my life/. They’re in my car with me when I drive to work, they’re in my living room when I’m watching an interview. A piece of them that they spent time and effort to create is with me, it’s making me react, it’s making me feel things. When they talk about the song I drive to work to, I relate to it, I understand it, it connects me to them. When they joke in an interview it makes me laugh, when they tweet about about a feeling I /get/ it.

This love you might have for a celebrity, it’s hard to describe. It’s not the kind of love you’ll have for your family, it’s not the kind of love you’ll have for your best friend. It’s not the kind of love someone in /their/ family or friend circle will feel for them. It’s very different, but it’s still love. It’s there, I can feel it, I know what it is. Love is abstract, you can’t stick a thermometer in my heart and go “nope it’s not love”. It just is.

In a way, all these little pieces that they’re sharing with the world become part of your life, they’re things you know and feel familiarity towards. Sometimes, when you’re having a bad day this person, without even knowing, might be the only reason you smile. When you’re so anxious the thought of just seeing another person makes your throat close up, they might be the reason you laugh. It’s bizarre because they aren’t consciously aware of it, they don’t know how these things they share are affecting other people.

So it’s like, Louis, I don’t know you, we’ve never spoken, you wouldn’t recognize me in the street. There’s a whole, huge part of your life I don’t have a clue about, But you’ve been apart of my life for 4 years, you’ve been with me through moments I didn’t want anyone else around. There’s a warmth in my chest because of songs you’ve created and words you’ve said, things you’ve done and faces you’ve made. There’s familiarity, there’s happiness, there’s laughter and /emotion/ in my life because of you.

And because of the way you’re a part of my life, in a rather unconventional way, you’re a friend. There’s a relationship that can’t be explained because you have to experience it to understand it, but it’s there, it’s real. And in the same way you make me happy when you laugh or when you sing, I feel sad when you’re sad, my heart aches when you’re hurting. And part of that might just be a symptom of humanity, a reaction we all might have when we hear bad news.

Most of it though, most of it is that because of the person you are, the way you’ve chosen to be, I felt something that drew me to you. That feeling has expanded beyond just a love of what you create, but it’s grown into a love for who you are as a person. most people can’t grasp that, and it’s very challenging to articulate, but it’s there. And so, I want the world for you, I wish I could lessen your pain because without even knowing, you’ve done it for me.

  • 707: If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together ;)
  • Yoosung: Why would you do that? That makes no sense. Why are you changing the alphabet for two letters??
  • 707: No, Yoosung, god, I mean you and me.
  • Yoosung: ...??? What?? Do you mean our initials? It's L for Luciel and K for Kim, and they're already next to each other.
  • 707: ...I'm trying so hard here, Yoosung.

When some fanfic writers put curses (like f*ck) in (literally) each of kanda’s sentences, and show him only being angry and pissed to everything and everyone around him, and purposely starts fighting or being mean to others..

I think Hodgins’ paralysis storyline will always be like in my top 5 list of Bones storylines. I have no direct experience with this in real life, so I don’t know if what they have done is realistic (even though TJ said he tried to be as accurate as possible), but I think it was very human. They did a wonderful job with Hodgins’ character. They showed us his journey through different stages and emotions and that’s wonderful. But anyway, it was never too dramatic or too light or too over the top. It was just there and you saw it unfold without changing the structure or without alterning the tone of the show. You had the chance to see this character struggle - just like everyone around him - being hopeful, then being sad, then being angry. Thanks to TJ’s talent but thanks to the writers too, I felt everything that this character was feeling and it was perfect. I particularly loved the conclusion of it in the season premiere. It was painful to see, because we love these characters too much, but it was right. Handicaps are okay. Injuries are okay. I wouldn’t have liked to see a miracle recovery, because that’s not what Bones is about. And it amazes me that one of the best storylines belongs to supporting characters. I mean, it’s perfectly okay, but we are too used to shows that don’t value their supporting casts. You would expect something like this to happen to main characters  and last for like a couple of episodes for the sake’s of drama and that’s the difference between Bones and other shows (to me at least.) This group of people works perfectly both on screen and in real life that you enjoy watching them there. You feel for them, you root for them and you don’t even think that you are not watching the leads on something, because after all, on Bones, they are all leads. Every character is a lead in their own way.

yoongi is a professional photographer. he meets jungkook because the kid accidentally apprehends the guy trying to get away with yoongi’s camera. by which we mean jungkook is coming out of a convenience store with his arms chockfull of instant ramen buckets and happens to open the door right into the face of the failed thief. in slow motion yoongi sees this: ramen packs going absolutely everywhere, his camera flying out of the thief’s hands, jungkook flying after said camera and leaping higher than ordinary people should be able to…catching it. gently. he has enough awareness to clothesline the thief when he tries to scramble up and get away, which is apparently enough time for jungkook to walk over, toeing ramen carnage out of the way as he offers the camera back with both hands.

cue yoongi offering to thank him with dinner or something and jungkook asking to see yoongi’s work and yoongi asking what jungkook is up to jungkook explaining he would love to pursue photography but his parents don’t think it’s stable enough and yoongi agreeing but then telling jungkook that’s no reason to not pursue it because hey look at him. and then jungkook Looks at him. you know, the Look you give someone when they’ve given you advice that should be obvious but is so obvious you never thought of it or never heard it and it’s everything.

so jungkook starts taking pictures. mostly of yoongi since he somehow slips more fully into his life because this is a story where for once the people you want to see win, win. and winning doesn’t even mean someone else has to lose in this case: it just means you recognize what you have.

you hold on.

You know, given everyone’s backstory in this game, “Dragon Age: Origins” really should be called “Dragon Age: Orphans”.

(I’m doing it) on my own?” Keith, the temperamental rebel loner, says with a soft whimper like a little puppy scared of being left at home.

Reasons why Hannibal/Bedelia makes perfect sense:

  • he feels protective of her.
  • of all the psychiatrists he could have chosen, it was her. There’s something about her that intrigues him.
  • she has the capacity to do Very Bad Things, which is something Hannibal knew before she did.
  • he refused to accept her resignation and she chose to accept his refusal.
  • he covered up her murder as she covered up his involvement.
  • she’s the only person besides Will Graham who knows and understands him.
  • he opens up to her about his innermost thoughts and feelings to a degree he hasn’t even done with Will.
  • she’s suspected that he’s dangerous for a while but continued his therapy regardless because her professional curiosity in him was too great to resist.
  • she’s one of very few people who saw him for what he is and survived it (in part through her own intelligence, in part because he cares about her to a degree).
  • she made the conscious choice not to kill him and instead chose to join him because again, her curiosity in him is too great to resist.
  • he allowed her to go with him instead of killing her right there, when he had already left everyone else to die (Hannibal is a social creature who enjoys company and Bedelia is a familiar force in his life he feels trusting of).
  • she’s drawn to the criminal mind, Hannibal’s in particular.
  • she’s no innocent bystander; she’s complicit in his crimes and while terrified also fascinated and participating in them to a degree she hasn’t anticipated but is undeniable.
  • they have very similar tastes; Bedelia’s house closely resembles Hannibal’s and they listen to the same kind of music. It wouldn’t be a stretch to assume Bedelia enjoys the environment and life they have in Italy as much as he does (apart from the crimes).
  • she’s an unconventional psychiatrist, like him, which doubtlessly drew him to her and makes her therapy with him about as unhealthy as his with Will’s.
  • she’s intelligent and capable enough to see through him and manipulate him to a degree, making her more an equal than a victim.
  • she never sugarcoats things and is always extremely frank with him, despite knowing what he is, and he reacts to those moments with almost childish petulancy, not anger. She’s much more of a guiding force in his life than he would probably like to admit.
  • he wanted to be her friend and she shot him down, stating that they’re colleagues but not that – because he doesn’t show his true face and hides behind a veil. The veil is now lifted and they share an openness and honesty Hannibal has never had with anyone else except to a degree Will Graham.
  • from what we’ve seen, her life is somewhat depressing; he’s her only patient, she’s alone in the house, and apparently nobody missed her when she disappeared. Hannibal can offer her excitement and intrigue, which she seems to be interested in, judging by her continuous involvement with someone who she knows to be dangerous.
  • them posing as a married couple is no coincidence; it’s Hannibal’s way of enforcing commitment, ensuring her loyalty. If she truly wished to betray him, a ring on her finger wouldn’t stop her, but somehow Hannibal seems to think it would – marriage clearly means something to him, and he chose her to do it with.
