who is this actor

I can say a lot of that [Cophine] magic also comes from the chance I had to play opposite Tatiana Maslany, who I think is the greatest actor of our generation. She’s so inspiring to watch and it’s so easy to connect with her on a truthful level and to let the scene happen. She’s so spontaneous and instinctual and so it sort of makes you feel free to be in the zone too. It’s a very safe zone but sort of a very ‘anything can happen’ place as well. So, I mean, I feel blessed I got the chance. So lucky. Both to be able to be those two characters but to be those two women working together as well.

Remember that we almost got Matthew daddario playing jace instead of alec

Sometimes I just get chills thinking that we almost didn’t have the wonderful Matthew daddario who has such great chemistry with harry shum jr when playing Alec and Magnus and is just the perfect Alec salty lightwood we could have ever dreamed of and instead could have had him play jace. Not saying that Matthew wouldn’t nail the performance it’s just he personifies Alec and almost not having him as that is scary af Just imagine…. (shivers)

a concept

Ghosts have the capability to change the sound of their voice. Most don’t use this ability to ensure that newly rezzed Guardians have a constant to hold on to whilst they adjust to their new life.

Of course, there are some that don the voices of others. Some imitate famous Crucible players; others imitate actresses. There’s been a few Ghosts who’s able to emulate the voice of a pre-Golden Age actor named Morgan Freeman. Voices of Vanguard members are a huge no-no: but that doesn’t stop Ghosts from imitating them for the pleasure of their Guardians.

Some say that this ability is dangerous- that others can use Ghosts to disrupt City peace and incite conflict. That they can spread false information and start riots. That an entire group of them can imitate the voice of the Speaker and spread blasphemy.

But I mean, no Ghost would do that, right?

We watch CPD because we love the actors playing the characters. When said actors are visibly disappointed and upset over scenes being cut, you can pretty much guarantee that the audience is too. Without those actors the show wouldn’t be what it is, so why do they keep writing good content only to cut it out? Who is making these bad decisions and why are the actors being ripped off? They study their characters, bring them off the pages and yet you cut their hard work and give the audience a product that is half decent, lacking important storylines that aren’t being developed properly, and continue to let this show have so many forgotten and rushed stories and unnecessary deaths and break ups for drama? We don’t want drama free storylines, we just want storylines that respect the characters, actors and audience. Give us drama without dicking everybody around. Write and edit better!

If it’s true that Eliza wasn’t invited to the reunion, I think that’s total BS. Who cares how many episodes she was in or if she was a regular? There are no rules here, they can invite whoever they want. Kristine Sutherland wasn’t a regular and she was there. Faith was at least as important of a character as most of the people there, she had a huge impact on the show and on many fans. And Eliza has always been one of the actors who supports the Buffyverse and her fans the most. There’s literally no reason she shouldn’t have been there. It feels quite rude and weird imo.

That rebranding post you reblogged has really made me think about just what all the boys are trying to achieve & how unusual it will be & how proud I am & will continue to be. They are all coming out with new music & what is already out is doing well! Most of the members of N Sync & Backstreet boys didn't put any music out! I think JC really should have been given a chance. Robbie Williams, George Michael & Ricky Martin had pretty successful solo careers but that is 3 people in like 4 decades.

Joe and Nick Jonas both have done well post “boy band” so that’s 5 :)

Plus you’ve got the ones that went another direction, like Donnie Wahlberg who is a respected actor (Mark wasn’t in a boyband, but he overcame Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch), Joe McIntyre was on Broadway, Danny Wood is a jazz producer, and NKOTB are still touring (as are the Backstreet Boys).

But to your point, I think all of them will make major marks on the world doing what they love doing in their own individual ways, so when they do come back together, it’ll be nothing short of amazing and they WILL be treated with the respect they’ve all deserved all along :)

I dont understand the hate?? This isn't a "Mon-El is perfect and I'm 12 inches up his asshole" blog. It's a Chris Wood blog for people who like him as an actor and ya know, like is aesthetic haha.

Exactly! I haven’t even given my opinion on Mon-El, I just love Chris Wood and reblog/create his content - like I have been doing for two years. Some people just don’t have anyone to channel their hate to, so they go for the actor, or people who support the actor. Quite sad.

If you could ever make your own Beauty and the Beast movie, how would you do it? Who would star in it?

Honestly, the main three (Belle, Beast, Gaston) would NEED to be unknown actors who can sing well, because these parts suffered really badly from having well known actors who didn’t do much to distance their celebrity persona from the characters themselves.

Honestly asides from Audra McDonald being Mrs Potts (who has sung big ballads as the mentor character to the main character before like in 1999 Annie or Climb Every Mountain), Ewan McGregor as Lumiere (who had a sucky french accent but he had fun with it) and Kevin Kline as Maurice, I feel like we needed more broadway talent in general for this movie.

Am I the only one who headcanons that Hammy is a minor or is it just me?

Yes I know her actor’s age is around 18, but I’m wondering if she’s acting as a person younger than her age, since it’s common some times for shows to have actors play as someone who is 15 when they are 18.

It’s just that the whole “She has a wide range of emotions due to young age” detail makes me feel like they’re saying “Hammy is actually a teenager”

With Trini they probably don't give her a surname in this film because it's never mentioned in the script. You're right that Kwan was probably just a placeholder for when they cast the parents, but we might find out her real surname in the next film if it happens

She’s the only character who isn’t credited with a last name and who’s actor claims it’s not the original. No one else’s last name is necessarily important to the script either, so it’s not like that’s the REASON. I just think it’s lazy that if they said “let’s not use that name” that they didn’t at the same time pick a new name.

Vin Diesel's son made him choose Groot in 'Guardians Of The Galaxy'

Los Angeles, March 30 (IANS) In “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, Vin Diesel returns to voice Groot, an extremely humanoid tree with a limited vocabulary. The actor says it was his son who made him choose the character.

Groot is one of the most popular characters in the Guardians universe, thanks to his iconic “I Am Groot”.

Talking about what attracted him to pick Groot’s part, Diesel said in a statement: “I went to meet with Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios President) for a couple hours to talk. A couple of weeks later, Marvel sent over a book of concept art and they had this crazy idea that kind of played to the Iron Giant character I played in the beginning of my career.”

“And what sealed the deal for me was when I opened up the giant book of concept art and fell in love with the character Groot. I asked my son which character he thought Daddy should play, and my son, Vincent, who was three at the time, pointed to the tree. And something about that made me feel like it was going to be the perfect match.”

Diesel finds the character lovable.

“I loved the gentle giant aspect of Groot. I loved how enigmatic the character is. He’s been labelled the most interesting character in the Marvel universe because he’s so unique and so different,” Diesel said.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is written and directed by James Gunn, and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Tommy Flanagan, Laura Haddock, with Sylvester Stallone, and Kurt Russell.

It is releasing on May 5.

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.
