I know everyone remembers Alix as the reckless angry one who’s always ready to fight, and she is, but like… she’s also, in canon, really dorky and sweet?? Like how excited she is to get the pocket watch as her birthday present after seeing how cool it is, and reassuring her dad that she’s not gonna ditch him, and waving at Marinette’s parents, and just… look at this sweet happy child

And at the end of the episode when she thanks Ladybug for fixing her watch and says she’ll take better care of it next time and will try not to be irresponsible, it’s so Pure and Humble, she’s just such a Good

And Christmas episode??? Where she’s so happy to get sweets??? And happy to see Adrien’s okay??? And just generally so adorable and happy??? I’m love this child so much???

AND THE FREAKING PILLOW FIGHT IN PIXELATOR, WHICH SHE LOSES

In conclusion: Alix is an adorable precious bean in addition to being a terrifying little monster, this has been a PSA

i love every single one of lotor’s generals so much like they’re so badass and cool and i’m so gay wtf hasta la later fuckers catch me on the dark side

I often think about the first out of two times my gay ass got “rejected”. it was back in high school, she was a straight girl, a friend, who heard from someone else that I “liked” her (which I did, she was very pretty and interesting) and she came to me telling me very gently “um so I heard you liked me and well i’m not gay so, i’m sorry but no” and I was standing there chuckling like.. “I literally didn’t ask and I knew all that but okay whatever imma go get a smoothie” and left her there; and then she spent the whole day coming back to me asking why I “wasn’t bothered” or “wasn’t even upset” smdkgsfkhfd straight girls are wild

uhhhh anyways mary’s the only character i can draw and i love her

wasn’t it great how no one mentioned pulse?? and how no prominent lgbt actors won awards and neither did falsettos?? so there was really very little opportunity for it to be brought up almost exactly one year later?? and how lin manuel miranda ended up being the ONLY person on that stage to directly acknowledge pride??

the walking dead meme — scenes [ 2 / 8 ] — (episode one, chapter ten: later that night)

“This man found me and took care of me, we met up with other survivors and we all tried to make it… but it didn’t work.”

“what?”

I like the idea of ???% signing even more than originally planned, i think i’m going to do more!

嬉しい 大丈夫 | ごめんなさい

heres a cool idea: how about dont send hate to abuse victims who are afraid of women because of their female abuser(s). not every woman is a goddamn saint or angel. there are terrible shitty abusive sisters, mothers, girlfriends, wives ect just like theres terrible shitty abusive brothers, fathers, boyfriends, and husbands. how much of a thick fucking skull do you have to have to make a victim of an abusive woman feel like shit for being traumatized??

and i just want to make it clear go ahead and keep posting girl positive posts thats fine im not shaming that what im saying here is:

DONT SEND HATE TO OR SHAME ABUSE VICTIMS LITERALLY FOR BEING TRAUMATIZED

I’ve always pictured Lily Evans as someone centered and down-to-earth, quite chill and to herself. Someone who makes you want to talk about everything and nothing, because she would listen to you and worry about what’s worrying you. At the same time she can be intimidating, especially if she’s not in a good mood. If you’re not sure if you can approach her, then don’t. There are more things I imagine about her, but that would take me days so here some designs of her style during her 7th year at Hogwarts.

I would never have admitted it, or thought to say it, but looking back, I know that deep in my consciousness I thought that America was at the end of some evolutionary spectrum of civilisation, and everyone else was trying to catch up.

Suzy Hansen, Notes on a Foreign Country: An American Abroad in a Post-American World

American exceptionalism did not only define the US as a special nation among lesser nations; it also demanded that all Americans believe they, too, were somehow superior to others. How could I, as an American, understand a foreign people, when unconsciously I did not extend the most basic faith to other people that I extended to myself? This was a limitation that was beyond racism, beyond prejudice and beyond ignorance. This was a kind of nationalism so insidious that I had not known to call it nationalism; this was a self-delusion so complete that I could not see where it began and ended, could not root it out, could not destroy it.

American exceptionalism had declared my country unique in the world, the one truly free and modern country, and instead of ever considering that that exceptionalism was no different from any other country’s nationalistic propaganda, I had internalised this belief. Wasn’t that indeed what successful propaganda was supposed to do?

“It is different in the United States,” I once said, not entirely realising what I was saying until the words came out. I had never been called upon to explain this. “We are told it is the greatest country on earth. The thing is, we will never reconsider that narrative the way you are doing just now, because to us, that isn’t propaganda, that is truth. And to us, that isn’t nationalism, it’s patriotism. And the thing is, we will never question any of it because at the same time, all we are being told is how free-thinking we are, that we are free. So we don’t know there is anything wrong in believing our country is the greatest on earth. The whole thing sort of convinces you that a collective consciousness in the world came to that very conclusion.”

“Wow,” a friend once replied. “How strange. That is a very quiet kind of fascism, isn’t it?”
