Your fics are amazing!!! If you're still accepting then; "I can explain." Harry said finally and Sirius raised an eyebrow, wondering if he was talking about the cigarette in his hand or the blonde man in his bed.

“I can explain,” Harry said finally, and Sirius raised an eyebrow, wondering if he was talking about the cigarette in his hand or the blonde man in his bed.

“Alright,” Sirius said, hiding the way his chest was shaking with laughter by crossing his arms and leaning against the doorframe. “Start explaining, then.”

Harry’s mouth opened and closed twice like a fish gasping for air and he almost let ashes fall from the cigarette to the sheets. The expression mimicked the one James would get whenever someone other than Lily had tried to flirt with him at Hogwarts: confusion and a smidge of desperation.

Draco Malfoy reached over to put the cigarette out in the tray next to the bed, leaning over Harry in the process, which made his godson turn bright red (another James trait). The blonde pulled a fresh light from a box nearby, ignited it, and said, “Why don’t you let us get dressed first, cousin?”

“Hey Malfoy what- hey would you quite eye fucking yourself in the mirror and listen to me?”

Draco let out a frustrated sigh as he reluctantly tore his eyes away from his reflection and turned to his friend as they walked side by side down the crowded hallways of Hogwarts. “What *yln*?” Draco drawled.

“What day is it today?”

“It’s Tuesday and if you didn’t spend every night working your way into every non-straight girls pants in our year you’d know that.” However, as Draco continued to rant to her about how she was a total wreck *yn* had tuned out almost instantly.

“Brilliant.” *yn* muttered under her breath when she realised what Tuesday meant.

“Brilliant? It’s most definitely not bloody brilliant, we still have four full days of torture before the weekend.”

“It may not be brilliant for you, you git. But it is for me.” *yn* grinned as they turned a corner to make their way down a long spiralling staircase.

“And why is it brilliant for you exactly?” Draco huffed.

“We have double potions.” *yn* smirked smugly. There were a few moments between the two and *yn* could practically hear the cogs in Draco’s head whirring as he tried to figure out why having double potions with the Gryffindors would be a good thing. Then it clicked.

“You’re not still fantasising about bloody Granger are you?” He groaned.

“You say ‘fantasising’ like I don’t have a shot with her.” *yn* shot back hotly.

“All I’m saying is that you’ve been her potions partner all year and the closest you’ve got to snogging her is that time you ‘accidentally’ glued your hand to her arse. Plus she’s totally wrapped around Potter’s finger, there’s no way she’d go for you.” Draco replied as the two neared the dungeon that Snape held his lessons.

“All part of my master plan Malfoy. Granger isn’t like the others, it was always going to take time to slither my way in. Pun intended.” *yn* replied.

“Good luck with that *yln*, that’s all I’m gonna say.”

“Oh and Malfoy, I finished making my way through the non-straight girls months ago. Turns out when you’re well, me, even the heteros aren’t out of my reach.” *yn* spoke as he opened the dungeon door. “See you after class.” She continued before he could answer, shooting him a grin before stepping past him and into Snape’s classroom.

Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8 / Part 9

It all had started after the night Yoongi and you had sex for the first time.

The thoughts of that night were consuming, if you closed your eyes, or even with your eyes wide open the memories of it were as vivid as if it had just happened, as you brushed your hair and saw your reflection in the mirror you had to admit your attention was no longer on getting ready to go out as the way Yoongi had held you occupied every single spot on your mind; the way his hands had caressed every single part of your skin setting every nerve on fire, the feeling of him inside of you, the sounds you had made, what you provoked in him and of course, his eyes on you, a dark and exquisite delight that had you yearning for it more than you should.

You knew sex with him would be different from any other experience that you previously had, Yoongi was a demon, and for demons sex alluded a whole new level of sensations; sensations that he had let you feel.

You shuddered at the thought, trying to fight back the wave of heat that ran through your whole body. Because now you were aware that at that night Yoongi had done something that let him sense, if he wished, whatever happened to you, what you were feeling.

It was a black mark that you had only noticed two days ago when you felt something itching at the back of your neck; but that he had done to you a week ago at his place. Yoongi had thought he could get away with you having it and not seeing it. You had confronted him about it the same day you found out, and when you learned what the mark could do you were baffled, he had stepped over a limit for you. Yoongi had blatantly answered that he was a demon and had no limits nor morals. It was a furious battle that unfortunately you hadn’t won, yet.

Caressing your nape, you felt the spot where the mark was, an intricate circle that swirled in beautiful arabesques. The mark, that looked like a well made tattoo, was placed on your nape just below your hair line, where Yoongi had bit you that time but you had thought it was just out of the heat of the moment, you remembered the whimper you had let out at that precise moment, followed by Yoongi’s husky groans. Your cheeks flushed and you shook your head once more.
Through it Yoongi could know if you were happy or afraid, if you were in danger or even if you felt… aroused.
So you tried to stay calm and not give him any more reasons to be smug. Because he’d know.

You wanted the mark out, because as much as you liked how he could make you feel everything magnified during sex through it, you absolutely hated that your privacy was diminished to nothing. Yoongi had been rather elusive about the mark, telling it was only for your protection, which you believed, but it still made you feel uncomfortable, you wanted it gone.

You continued brushing your hair, now looking at your reflection, but instead of only seeing yourself your eyes caught a shadow, it moved behind you hiding when you focused on it. You were no longer alone in your apartment.

Jumping to your feet you looked around for something to use as a weapon, you knew it couldn’t be Yoongi, he wouldn’t bother scaring you like this. Your heart beat faster as you felt the creeping sensation of fear start. The only weapon you had in hand was your hair dryer, so you grabbed that.

The shadow, that had previously disappeared, got into the light, revealing to be a young guy, more or less your age that you could have confused with a college student, but there was something off about him, he exuded the same aura that you had seen in Yoongi’s companions. Albeit him looking kind of angelic with fluffy honey hair and soft features you knew better. He was also a demon.

The knock on the door interrupts you from your rampant search around your little townhouse for your missing left shoe. You hobble to the door, swinging it open probably too eagerly, to find a sweet, smiling Shawn in black jeans and a speckled short-sleeved dress shirt holding a bouquet of daisies and tulips. Your cheeks rosy up as you notice his eyes travel down your body, and he lets out a small laugh when he notices your bare feet.

“Hey, Y/n,” Shawn greets you by pulling you into a side hug as to not mush the flowers. “You look absolutely beautiful.”

“Thank you,” You say as you pull away, looking at the flowers. “Are these for me?”

“Yeah, I didn’t know what kind of flowers you liked, so I asked my sister, and she said these were a safe bet.” He explains, handing you the bouquet. You bring the flowers up to your nose and take in the sweet smell before stepping aside to let Shawn in.

Royals pt1

Reader x Jimin

Genre: Fluff, maybe some angst?

Anonymous said: “Could you write a Jimin x reader story where Jimin is royalty?”

Short synopsis: All you want is to protect him, all he wants is freedom. After disguising yourself as a boy to join the royal guard, the prince might be more of a handful than you could have ever imagined.

Disclaimer: This takes place in a land far, far away. You know, like Shrek, but I promise Jimin isn’t going to turn into an ogre. Nothing that happens is remotely historically accurate, because it does not take place in the past.

You would never forget the first time you saw him. He was standing on a balcony that overlooked the courtyard with his father, the king. Even then, he held his head high, the way a prince should.

It was his eyes that first struck you. The way he looked out at the crowds of people, his people, without fear or hesitation.

He had just recovered after being at deaths door for over a month, and he still looked slightly ill. His cheeks were hollow and his lips pale, and you thought how miserable he must be standing in the cold winter air after such an ordeal.

Your family, along with hundreds of others, was there to show your respect. Not even a week ago, there were rumors that he wouldn’t make it through the night. The kingdom had gathered together, hoping for a miracle but expecting to hear the worst.

“Poor boy.” An elderly women said to your mother as the people cheered, the miraculous recovery of the prince a relief to all. “They say it was poison. Which means it must have been someone close, to get past the food tasters and all…”

“Must be such a lonely life.” Your mother had sighed. “Never knowing who to trust, or who’s close because they care and who just wants your power.”

You felt a pang of sympathy for the young prince as the two spoke. It sounded like a lonely life indeed.

“I heard they’re investigating the royal guard. Such a shame when even the people who are supposed to protect you may not be loyal.”

“I’ll protect him.” You chimed in. In your mind, everyone deserved to be surrounded by people who would look out for them, and if no one else could be trusted to, you would do it yourself. “I’ll join the royal guard and keep him safe.”

“What a sweet girl.” The elderly women said with a smile, patting your head. “Maybe one day they’ll change the laws and you can.”

You were only vaguely aware of light trickling in through the thinly veiled window when you woke up, your mind still groggy from sleep. It was the same dream you had increasingly often. It was funny, you thought, how a memory from the age of 7 could shape someone’s life as drastically as it had yours.

it was later than you had meant to get going, but it only took you a few minutes to slip on your boots and comb your hair. You had slept in your clothes the night before, too tired to change after the long ride. All you could do was hope your shirt wasn’t too terribly wrinkled.

Your sword swung slightly from your hip as you made your way down the inn’s stairs, having no time for breakfast.

“Good luck, boy.” The innkeeper called after you as you made your way toward the door.

“Thanks. I’ll need it.” You called over your shoulder.

You still couldn’t believe how close you were to achieving what you had been working towards for years. With any luck, you would pass the final test the next day and become part of the royal guard. You had the skill, you knew you did; as long as no one guessed that you weren’t actually a boy, everything would be fine.

“No, Rebekah stop asking please.” I begged

“Come on y/n, just admit to me who you like and I won’t have to ask. To think we have been friends for hundreds of centuries and you won’t tell me”.

I plopped myself down on the couch and looked at her. “ I want to Rebekah but, problem is I don’t like anymore-”.

“What did I miss” Kol said sitting down next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. Which maybe my cheeks turn red, I could feel it.

Rebekah glared at Kol for interrupting me. “Y/n was just about to explain why-”

“About to explain why I can’t stay for movie night” I cut her off.

Kol looked at me shocked that I would miss a movie night with him and Bekah. While Bekah was looking at me skeptically, looking at my cheeks and kol and me.

“And why not” she asked crossing her arms across her chest, giving me a smug look.

“I-I” I looked at her and looking at her and I knew she figured it out. I hate the fact that she knows, because now she’s gonna want to talk to me about it.

“You have to stay! You can’t miss out on this, we have been doing it since movies came out on film rolls!” Kol said

I turned to Kol  I couldn’t lie to Kol. Even if I wanted to.

I love him, not just did I like someone I loved someone and that was Kol Mikaelson. I have since Klaus un-daggered him A century after I met Rebekah, Klaus, and Elijah.

I turned my head to look at Kol and he looked between disappointed, sad, and shocked.

“Please, darling” he said. While stroking my hair.

“You know what, it’s nothing I can’t do tomorrow”

Kol’s face lit up. His arm was starting to get a little warm around my shoulders, I had to get up or I would start to get extra comfortable.

“Well then, now that that’s settled. Who’s gonna make popcorn-” Kol started to say but I cut him off, this was my chance.

“I-I will. I mean, I should go make the popcorn, uh yeah.” I got up quickly and headed to the kitchen.

%%%%%%%%%%

After the first movie I volunteered to make more popcorn and get more drinks, although as I got up Kol linked our hands and started to drag me out of the room.

 “Wha-”

“I’m gonna help you, come on” he said cutting me off. I looked back at Bekah, she just shrugged clueless as me as to his behavior.

As Kol dragged me into the kitchen and looked at me.

“Ok look I know when you lie I can hear your undead heartbeat skip. You didn’t have anything to do instead of this, that was a lie. I want to know why you were so nervous before I walked in darling”

I pulled my hand from his. I can’t tell him, if I tell him it will ruin everything. Plus how can he like or even love me the same way. I can’t let him know, then the last 800 years of friendship would be for nothing.

“I don’t know what your talking about, come on let’s just make more popcorn “ I said turning around to get more popcorn out of the cabinet.

“Sweetheart don’t make me have to compel it out of you” he said grabbing both my wrist, turning me around. “Please …  darling don’t make me.”

“Kol nothing was said, even if something was said Kol it would be between me and Rebekah. I know this is hard for you to understand but not everything is your business.” I said trying to turn around.

“Fine darling you give me no choice.” He grabbed my chin and looked me in the eyes “what were you and my sister talking about before I walked in?”

We were talking about crushes. She wanted to know who I liked” I said almost like  robot.

“And what did you tell her?” He compelled me again. I have a feeling he’s gonna do that a lot in the next few minutes.

“I told her that I didn’t like anyone”

“Is that the truth?” He asked.

“No” I swallowed hoping he won’t ask what I think he will.

“Then tell me darling, who do you like so much that you were gonna skip out on movie night for? Hmm”

“You. The person I like, love and have a crush on is you. I stopped talking so you wouldn’t ask. I can’t lie to you, that’s why I go around avoiding saying who I like.” As I finished my last statement I didn’t know how to feel angry that he actually compelled me, shocked about it to. But I was for certain embarrassed to hell and back. I can’t believe he did that, that he knows how much I like him, that he knows at all.

“Y/n-” he started but I cut him off I pulled my wrist out of his grip. I jerked my chin out of his grip to.

“I-I  have to go.” I said in a hurry to get out of the kitchen. I walked over into the room we set up the movies in. I grabbed my jacket, and started to put it on.

“Where are you going, I thought you were gonna stay?” Bekah asked.

“I have to go, I’m sorry Bekah” I said walking out of the room and Rebekah following me.

“Y/n, you don’t have to go …” Kol said he looked sad when he saw I had I had put my jacket on.

“I’ll see you guys later, I’m-m s-sorry” I stuttered, and with that I left.

Kol’s p.o.v

“Ok Kol what did you do to make her leave?!” Rebekah yelled.

“I-I compelled her to tell me what you guys were talking about before I walked in. I … made her tell me who her crush was, who she liked.” I said still in shock.

“Who, come on Kol tell me, who?!” Rebekah yelled excitedly.

“Me. She likes me, has a crush on me.” We looked at each other I couldn’t believe it.

%%%%%%%%( 2 hours later )%%%%%%%%

I sat in my room holding my head in my hands. “She likes me. She has a crush on me. How could I not see it. How could I not for 800 years see it! I didn’t think that would be her answer, or that her and Rebekah were talking about that. I would have been disappointed if it wasn’t me, to be honest. I have had a crush on her since Klaus has un-daggered me, since the first time I met her. The only reason I was so shocked and just stood there after she said it was me because I didn’t think she would ever like me back. Let alone love me back. I thought ya know if she said someones elses name (besides mine) I could tease her about it and then kill the guy later. But the fact that she said my name shocked me so much that I was to shocked to stop her from leaving.  Now she’s gone.” I was brought out of my rant to myself, when Rebekah knocked on my my door entering.

“Come on Kol, it can’t be that much of a shock. You two have always been super close and flirty, did you really think that there weren’t any real feelings behind it at all.” she said more as a statement then a question.

“That’s the thing, to me it was never just just playful flirting … I have liked, no loved her since the moment we met. I just never said anything because of Klaus and he daggers. I couldn’t put her in that situation.” I told her.

“Then go tell her how you feel. She ran out of here in pure embarrassment. You shouldn’t have compelled her!” she yelled the last part.

“I know, I know  … it was wrong I just had to know. I hate that I compelled her I shouldn’t have done it” I said shaking my head and burying it in between my knees.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder I looked up to my side at Rebekah.

“Then go talk to her before it’s too late.” she said with sympathy.

 “Bekah-” I started.

She cut me off “Try! … at least try” she said the last part softer.

I started to pack clothes into my duffel bag as soon as I got back. I spent almost an hour crying and walking around the square.

Y/F/N: Hey, I booked your flight.

Y/N: thxks for buying the ticket.

Y/F/N: Tell me again why you transferred money to my account to buy you a plane ticket?

Y/N: Because I need to get out of here for awhile and if I bought it then the Mikaelsons would be able to track where I went and that would defeat the purpose of being alone.

Y/F/N: Ok, I understand that. But why what happened exactly?

Y/N: Kol compelled me to tell him who I ike. He found out it was him and well you know he doesn’t like me that way so he just stood there, I left and now I need to get away for awhile.

Y/F/N: He could like you the same maybe he was just in shock. But I agree you need a little VK and he had no right to do what he did.

Y/N: thank you again for doing this.

Y/F/N: No problem

I put my phone in my pocket, grabbed my bag and turned off the lights with that I locked the door and left.

As I got in the cab I said “Airport please” looking out the window at the night sky.

I know some people would consider this running from my problems. But I’m not, I just need sometime to recover from being so embarrassed and possibly just lose one of the best friendships I’ve ever had. I just need to cool down from everything.

So Greece  here I come …

Once I got to her place I noticed the lights were off in her place, and I didn’t hear anything so I went around to the side and jumped up to the balcony and wedged open the window. I walked into the kitchen then the living room, I noticed that her closer was left open and half her clothes were gone and some jewelry is gone to.

Great she left to god knows where I’m too late.

“Did you talk to her?” Rebekah asked.

 “No, I didn’t. Because she wasn’t there, she’s gone I didn’t know where … but she’s gone”

 “All her stuff-”

“No … not all of it” I said

“Well she probably needs space. Just give her time and space she’ll come back” she said, then left to her room for the night.

I nodded, god I missed up.

“She’s back you know” Rebekah said leaning against the door frame to my room.

I looked up at her “I have to go talk to her” I said, as I grabbed my jacket and left.

“ you better come back with her as your girlfriend!” Rebekah yelled as I headed out of the compound.

I was unpacking from my 2 weeks in Greece. It was nice getting away for awhile. I suddenly heard a knock on my door. When I opened it I was shocked to see Kol.I mean I knew he would come over but I didn’t think this soon.

 “Ummm, hi” I said shyly.

“Hi … can I come in, I know that’s asking a lot but I want to explain everything” he said in one breath.

I nodded, and opened the door more and moved to the side.

“Sooo  … where’d you go?” he asked

“Greece. I needed space for a bit.” I answered.

“You always liked it there. I checked your bank account it didn’t say anything about a plane ticket being bought.”

“ yeah i had y/f/n but it so you couldn’t track me. I have known you for a very long time Kol, I know how you think.” I said with a smirk.

He smiled “ yeah you do … better than anyone.”

After some time awkward silence you decided to break it “ you said you wanted to explain” I stated.

“Ah yes, look I imagine that you left to take some time because of what you said and what I did. The reason I didn’t stop you from leaving the kitchen is because I was shocked, darling-”

 “I could tell” you interrupted

“I was shocked you could like me, love me like I love you.” he rushed out.

I looked at him shocked. He has liked even loved me back!.

“You love me back? Why did you not say anything to stop me from leaving the compound?!” I wanted to yell at him louder but I do have neighbors.

“I was scared darling. Happy I was scared” he said

“I love you Kol.” I said walking up to him and cupping his cheeks “and that, is never going to change.”

“I’m all in darling. All in, be mine let’s spend the rest of eternity  together” he said smiling.

 “Absobloodylutely” I said smirking.

“Good cause  I have wanted you to be mine since we met … and Bekah told me not to come back unless I make you my girlfriend.” we both laughed.

After that me and Kol never kept anything from each other again and Rebekah was happy to say the least when we came back to the compound together.

Why Do You Care? (1/?)

Why Do You Care?

Draco MalfoyxFemGryffindor!Reader - 6th Year A/U

Summary: You’re not feeling well and after practicing non-verbal spells in Defense you realize that magic has drained you completely.

Word Count: 4384

~

You came running out of the Gryffindor Commons at a full sprint, which wasn’t helping your upset stomach much at all, but you didn’t have a choice. You were already late from spending the morning trying to gather enough strength to shower and dress, and here you were five minutes to Defense with Slytherin’s and Snape and you really didn’t want to be late.

At all.

You knew it was inevitable but you were trying at least, that much could be said. With your bag thrown over your shoulder, robes halfway off your body and your hair still sopping wet, you were trying. Tearing through the doors resulted in your running into a few classmates that were crowding the area and you knew the moment they gasped out in shock who it was.

Her perfume was literally everywhere. Oh no.

“Get off, Y/L/N!” Parkinson screeched shoving you  back into the door with a sneer that could curdle milk.

“Sorry,” you mutter flushed from the running and out of breath as you pressed your palm to your mouth to keep whatever little of contents you had left down as you retched forward dry heaving, nothing coming out and you took that as a small victory.

“Ew!” She whined backing away, “she’s infected.”

You wanted to roll your eyes and looked up to smart off something before your words caught in your throat as blonde, tall, pale and handsome stepped forward staring at you. “I think infected is a rather strong word Pansy,” he started, smirking then turned away crossing his arms.

You hurry to correct yourself and make move to push your hands against your hair, trying not to groan as you realize it is still wet. The attention of the other students are gathered by now and most are staring at you when you grab your bag, “Y/L/N,” Snape’s voice starts, “have better things to do this morning than interrupting my class?”

Imagine your boyfriend Sonny and your brother Jamie protecting you from a handsy Detective

(A/N: For Anon, I hope you enjoy and that it meets your expectations. This is probably bad. I’m half asleep writing this because it’s like 2:00 am and I’ve been working all day and I was too stupid to check my plan and was writing the wrong imagine up for the whole of my writing time. So I hope you’ll forgive me for being late. Even though it’s still Tuesday in some places!)

Imagine your boyfriend Sonny and your brother Jamie protecting you from a handsy Detective

“Jameson!” You shouted sternly right behind Jamie’s back, intending to scare him.

You were successful. Obviously, that police academy training did nothing to help with how easy Jamie was to scare. You watched in delight as he jumped up slightly and spilling the coffee he was holding slightly down himself before realising and saving the majority from spilling. He turned to look at you and glared.

“Y/N,” He hissed, looking down at himself and assessing the caffeinated damage.

“You’re still so easy, Jamie.” You giggled profusely, bending over and clutching your stomach.

“Do you not having better to do than to annoy me, Detective?” He asked, sighing and shaking his head at you.

“I’m only doing my job,” You shrugged with a grin.

“It’s your job to annoy me?” He questioned sceptically.

Oh, Bite Me

Masterlist

Pairing: Derek x Reader

Summary: Can you write a Derek image off these lines: “Shut up, would ya?” “Oh bite me.”  If you can’t, it’s okay. Or if you feel like they are better with another character, go ahead. Love your images.

Side Note: I hope you don’t mind that I changed “Shut up, would ya?” to “Could you please be quiet”. I think it just works better for Derek. Also, sorry that it’s short. x

It had been go, go, go recently. But that wasn’t out of the normal in a town like Beacon Hills, especially if you knew about the supernatural. Once you got thrusted into the mysteries it was hard to lead any normal life whatsoever.

You currently lived with Derek Hale, your boyfriend of 2 years. You were a very observant person, and first started to notice the little things. Like how Scott McCall didn’t need an inhaler anymore. Then came the big things. Which included digging into the newcomers, Argent’s, history. There, among all the research you discovered a lot of interesting things. Wanting nothing but answers, you confronted Derek. He wasn’t pleased, in fact he was pissed. But eventually his walls begun to subside and he let you in.

2 years later and you still weren’t use to all the extra-curricular activities Beacon Hills had to offer. But slowly you were learning to adapt.

Lounging on the couch, Derek asked for silence as he concentrated on some supernatural matters. You didn’t mind though, you had assessments to complete. And if he didn’t ask for quiet, you were certainly going too.

Things started off wonderfully. The assessments were pretty straight forward and the first few you finished in no time. However, the last one decided to be a pain in your backside. It was for English and you absolutely despised the subject. Groaning, the concrete walls magnified the groan making it seem louder than it actually was. Derek kept mute, so you assumed he wasn’t bothered by the tiny outburst.

20 minutes went pass and you hadn’t gotten any further. Throwing the pen onto the book, it ricocheted and landed on the floor. “For goodness sake”, muttering to yourself.

Derek looked up from the file he was examining. “Could you please be quiet?”. Over the headache this assignment was giving, you retorted back. "Oh, bite me”.

"You do realize you’re saying bite me to a werewolf?’. Giving an amused expression your way.

Poking your tongue out. “You’re such a smart-ass”. Derek made his way over, sat down and scanned the school work that was giving you grief. “Say the word and I’ll shred up this assignment for you”.

Running a hand over his beard, which you got Derek to promise to not shave off due to you finding it utterly arousing. “The offer is tempting. But it would be extremely difficult trying to explain to my English teacher that my werewolf boyfriend ripped it into tiny pieces”.

“Then tell me what I can do to help? I don’t like seeing you all stressed”.

Sitting cross-legged, you pushed the books out of the way and just laid on Derek’s chest. “This helps”. His arms secured themselves tightly around you. Breathing in and then out, you allowed your body to relax in Derek’s safe embrace.

Your P.O.V.

Being in the Batmobile was always special. I was working with Batman, yes, the Batman. He knew my real name, my age, pretty much everything. I knew nothing about him. Well, at least not much. He could be a pain in the ass but I kinda liked him anyway.

‘‘You know what would make this easier?’‘ I asked him while leaning against my seat. His hands were firmly on the steering wheel and his eyes were on the road. ‘‘What?’‘ He murmured shortly. I sighed and tried to figure out who the hell he really was. It wasn’t easy. ‘‘If I could know who you are’‘ I let him know. It made me chuckle but that was it. He wasn’t going to tell me.

‘‘Fine, be that way’‘ I crossed my arms and stared out of the window. Gotham was quiet tonight which was odd. It was Wednesday so maybe that could explain it. ‘‘You know Y/N, I’m not sure whether you run off as I tell you’‘ He said, making me roll my eyes and anyone could see it through the black mask I had. I was wearing black tights made out of spandex, a shirt with the same material, white gloves, a black mask that covered the upper half of my face and a cape that Batsy gave me. It came in handy. I also had one of those belts with cool stuff like Batarangs.

‘‘So you don’t trust me yet I can wear your stuff?’‘ I raised my eyebrow. He stayed silent. The silence was bothering us for a few minutes. I didn’t even think about where we were until he drove into a dark tunnel. My eyes got used to the dark as he slowed down. We were in some sort of a cave. Batman parked the car and that’s when I realised where we were.

The Batcave!

I got out of the car and stared around me. I didn’t expect it to be so big! There were stairs all around, making this place appear even larger. I saw lights here and there, costumes, computers and strange gadgets I couldn’t name. ‘’I was wondering if you would like to join our side, not just temporarily’’ Batman broke the silence. He was really giving me a hard time to breathe. This was a lot from him!

‘‘Are you kidding me?’‘ I gasped and looked at him. Suddenly he grabbed his mask, pushing it off his face. As he moved his hands out of the way, I saw his face. Batman, the man I had been working with and developed feelings for was Bruce fucking Wayne!

‘‘Jesus Christ’‘ I spat and then smiled, feeling extremely happy. ‘‘You’re Bruce Wayne!’‘ I stated the obvious. Knowing who he was made me relieved. ‘‘So is that a yes or no?’‘ He wanted to know. Becoming a part of the Bat family would be a huge step in my life.

‘‘Yes, Bruce. Why would I say no?’‘ I answered his question. He smiled at me which was a rare sight. ‘‘I’m glad to hear that. Do you want me to show you around?’‘ Bruce asked me, then glancing around us. I jumped beside him and locked our arms in a playful manner. ‘‘Yes sir’‘ I replied a bit childishly. I was just really glad at the moment that I couldn’t help myself. By the look of it, Bruce didn’t mind it.

‘This here is brother eye…’‘

Please continue the Agricorps AU. Does Obi-wan get a respite with Qui-gon before having to go before the Senate?

“Force I needed that.” Obi-Wan sighed happily, stretching slowly as he surfaced from their shared meditation, Qui-Gon chuckling quietly as the redhead popped his back and shoulders in one move.

He stood and offered his hand to the other. “It sounded like you did.” He teased, smiling gently when Obi-Wan laughed and allowed the other to help him up. “You sound more like you need a massage or a hot shower honestly.”

“After food and the Senate meeting.” Obi-Wan chuckled. “Perhaps I’ll even take a bath, a long warm one.” He sighed hopefully.

“Do you feel ready for it?” Qui-Gon questioned as they bundled into the kitchen together to make something.

“I think so, as far as Senator Amidala explained, its going to be her, the Supreme Chancellor and four other Senators along with the press that’s going to be there to question me.” Obi-Wan peered at the things Qui-Gon was bringing out of the fridge before perking up. “Pasta cabonara?”

“Mhmm, would you fill a pot with water?”

The redhead jumped to it, wiggling ever so slightly with a warm smile.

The two cooked together, Qui-Gon enjoying the moment of being away from the front to actually do it and Obi-Wan just soaking in the calm after the sudden storm that seemed to uproot him.

“…You know, I didn’t mention it earlier but I like your plants.” He murmured, leaning against the counter as Qui-Gon cooked the bacon and the pasta bubbled away. “They’re very healthy.”

The older man chuckled and glanced at him. “I’m sure you can tell I’m part of the living Force. The plants are a comfort to me and I’ve always been a sucker for those weaker then me.” He explained as he nudged at Obi-Wan and pointed to the grater and cheese.

Obi-Wan hummed and set to grating it up for the sauce. “I see.” They settled into the quiet together, Qui-Gon marveling at how easily they seemed to slot together, it made him wonder…

“Don’t mourn for lost chances Qui-Gon.” Obi-Wan whispered, reaching out and brushing his fingers against the others wrist. “Think of the future instead.” He smiled, the harsh light of the kitchen catching in his beard and hair.

“…You’re right, live in the moment.” Qui-Gon murmured. “…Perhaps… if we’re living in the moment… may I ask if this could be considered a date?”

“I’d like that.” Obi-Wan smiled and traced his fingers against the others wrist some more. “I’d really like that.” He leaned up on his toes and pressed a kiss to Qui-Gon’s bearded cheek, feeling the whiskers tickle his lips.

“I…I wasn’t aware there would be so many reporters.” Obi-Wan slowly said, glancing at them then at the Senators, leaning back in his chair. The Jedi Order had decided that it was best not to let Obi-Wan go alone and Mace Windu had opted to go with him as support.

Originally Obi-Wan had wanted Qui-Gon but Mace, as the former Head of the Order before the war made a bigger impact and offered more protection for the core member. The Korun crossed his arms over his chest, standing beside Obi-Wan’s chair though he had been offered a seat too which he had declined.

“I apologize Master Kenobi.” Amidala offered sincerely. “But it was…insisted that all news stations that wanted to come would be allowed.” Her eyes flickered to Palpatine then back to Obi-Wan and he nodded slowly, still feeling overwhelmed.

It was hard to say a word against the Chancellor.

Haltingly, Obi-Wan started to explain the night the core had been attacked, explaining how he had been worried about the seedlings and had gone to check on it, how the first explosion had been targeted at the living quarters before everything had become a carpet bombing.

A clear intent to not leave any survivors behind.

“Then how did you survive?” One of the Senators asked, a Zabrak.

Obi-Wan shrugged. “Mostly luck. I was injured by a few of the initial blasts but I could still run. I…I took refuge in some of the larger tree roots, it was far enough away at the intial start to help me survive and then I started to grow whatever seeds I had on me and the natural flora for protection.”

“Grow?” Senator Organa leaned forward, frowning a bit.

Obi-Wan stared back before reaching into his pouch, pulling something from his utility belt. When he opened his hand, a little nut like seed rested in it.

Mace knew what was about to happen and made no move to interfere even as several Senators frowned in confusion.

And then Obi-Wan rested his other hand above the seed.

Slowly, in front of their eyes, the seed started to spout in his hand, the little brown nut turning green as it reached up towards Obi-Wan’s hand as if it was the sun.

One of the reporters dropped the microphone he was holding and a camera man shifted its eye off the lens to look with their eyes as if they couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

“…Agricore members job is to grow, we grow the majority yield of Coruscant’s food supply, at least its vegetable and grains.” Obi-Wan offered quietly. “Surplus is used for relief and famine stricken worlds. Before the war we were branching out into some of the fruits too but with the current demand we had to focus on growing the grains, vegetables and medical herbs that goes into daily living.”

He looked up from the seed to the people in the room. “This is what we do. We encourage the growth of the plants, we ship it to Coruscant and the temple, we’re just…slightly fancy farmers trying to do our part.” He smiled meekly.

“Just…farmers.”

Mace felt his heart ping a bit at the broken tone, resting a hand on Obi-Wan’s shoulder before he leveled a look at the Senators. “I believe you have your answers. The CIS attacked a peaceful farming moon full of none-combatants and the only survivor did so by luck. And he is STILL recovering.” He said strongly. “He needs his rest. I’m taking him back to the temple.”

His tone brokered no argument

Stiles- I’d Call It Cheating

A/N- So I FINALLY did a part 2 to this Stiles imagine. Sorry for the 8 month delay. Enjoy guys!

“Excuse me?” Derek demanded.
“She’s your daughter,” Stiles repeated.
Derek fixed a green-eyed glare on him, his head whipping toward the younger boy. “I heard what she said, you idiot.”
“He’s only trying to help me,” you cut in, stepping  closer to Stiles. “And I know this sounds crazy, and you have a right not to trust me, but I can prove it. I came here looking for you last night, but I found Stiles and his friends instead.”
“In my loft?” Derek demanded, glancing around the open space. Luckily you and the others had cleaned up after the pizza party, and the evidence of last night was pretty much gone.
“They were coming to see if you made it back yet,” you told him, your eyes flicking to Stiles. “We were both looking for you. That’s how we started talking.”
Derek stared at you, taking in your features. You were young, but not too young for what you were saying to be completely inconceivable. After a few seconds, he finally spoke.
“You didn’t have many werewolves around growing up, did you?” he asked.
You swallowed. “How’d you know?”
“Fatherly instincts,” Stiles joked, nudging your arm.
You and Derek both shot a glare at him, but then the older man smirked. “No one taught you the right way to lie, Y/n.”
Your throat seemed to dry up completely. “I-I swear, I’m-”
“I don’t care what you did in my loft,” Derek immediately snapped as his gaze whipped over to Stiles. “Whatever it was, don’t do it again, or-”
“I know, I know,” Stiles said with a roll of his eyes. “You’ll rip my throat out with your teeth. I got it.”
“Good. Now get out.”
Your shoulders slumped  in relief after you realized he was calling you out for lying about Stiles and not trying to reject you, but when he told him to beat it, you tensed up again. The awkward brunette had been your only comfort through this whole situation, and you thought that maybe you had brought him some too.
The thought of him not being by your side for this scared you, and it apparently scared him too, because he grabbed your hand and glared at Derek. “No way!”
Derek glanced at your clasped hands and raised his eyebrows. You blushed and pulled your hand out of Stiles’, and then took a deep breath.
“It’s fine, Stiles. I’ll be fine.”
He frowned, but then looked back at Derek. “I’ll be right outside the door.”
He stalked over to the heavy metal door, glaring back at Derek the whole time, until he finally opened it and slipped through. It shut with a slam, and Derek looked over at you with that smirk still on his face. “He likes you.”
You felt your lips twitch upward, but all you said was “Yeah.”
“So you think you’re my kid?”
You nodded. “Yeah. My mom, Y/m/n Y/l/n, she was with you at a party when you were, like, sixteen.”
Derek’s green eyes grew stormy. “Y/m/n? But…no. No, that makes sense actually…a lot of sense. How is she?”
“Uh, actually, she died a few years ago, but I didn’t even know who she was,” you explained. “Your uncle was the one who helped with the adoption.”
“Peter?” Derek growled.
You nodded carefully. “Malia’s dad, apparently.”
“Yeah,” Derek confirmed, looking at the floor. “I would say I’m surprised he kept this from me, but…I’m not.”
“Malia mentioned he was…”
“Crazy?”
“…not the best,” you finished. “Which kind of scared me, but I still wanted to come meet you.”
“Why?” he asked, crossing his arms over his chest. “Why now?”
“I only found out about this recently,” you admitted. “I wanted to know about my family, my blood family. It’s easy to get forgotten and left out with my adopted family. There’s just so many of us, and I’ve always wondered what it would be like to know my real parents. When I found out my mom was dead, the only thing left was…”
“Me,” Derek finished softly.
“Yeah,” you whispered. “But you seem like you’ve got a good thing going here. I mean, Scott and Stiles really seem to trust you. I just don’t want to get in the way.”
Derek stood there for a few moments, probably still trying to come to terms with the fact that he had a child. You knew that wasn’t an easy thing to dump on someone, and if he completely turned you away, you weren’t going to blame him.
“Of course not,” he finally said.
“What?” you asked.
“Of course I’m not going to turn you away. I don’t know what Stiles told you, but I’m not a monster.”
You blinked. “Actually, he told me you were alright.”
Derek raised his eyebrows. “Really?”
“Yep.”
“I don’t know how much they told you about me, Y/n, but my family-your family-used to be pretty big. A lot of them died in a fire. For a while it was only me and Peter, and then Cora and Malia showed up out of the blue…what I’m trying to say is that I don’t have a lot of family anymore, but I’d love a chance to get some back.”
You swallowed, and felt tears pricking your eyes. “You mean, like…like you want me to stay?”
“If you want to,” he offered. “If you’re not comfortable, we can get to know each other and then see how you feel about it. I could tell you about our family, and you could get to know the others better. You do need a pack, right?”
You nodded, and Derek smiled. “Scott has a soft spot for strays, so if you wanted to stay, I think you’d be happy here.”
You nodded vigorously, unable to speak for fear you might start crying. You had come to Derek’s with no idea of what to expect, and you were met with more than you had ever dreamed. He barely even knew you, yet he was offering to take you into his pack, to give you a home. Even after you were adopted, the sense of belonging was hard to grasp, but here, you had the strange feeling that it wouldn’t be.
“Here,” he said, gesturing toward the couch you and Stiles had fallen asleep on the night before. “Sit. We can talk.”
Derek went up the twisting staircase for a box of tissues, and you sank down into the soft cushions. You wanted so desperately to share this with Stiles, but you figured he was probably outside with his ear up against the door anyway. You could practically see him, slumped against the doorway with his tongue sticking out of his mouth in concentration.
Not like you had ever seen him do it, and you had by no means thought anything about Stiles’ tongue before (okay, maybe you had), but you imagined it was something he would do.
Derek’s footsteps started to echo back down the steps, and you took a deep breath. You were finally getting to learn about your family, and maybe even learn about your mom. Maybe Derek could shed some light on her, and himself, and maybe, like he said, you could be comfortable in Beacon Hills.

When the door screeched open, Stiles stumbled back to avoid getting side-swiped by it. He had been leaning up against it, “not” trying to listen in for about an hour, and every minute you were alone with Derek made him more and more hopeful.
He had connected with you last night, and he knew how much you wanted to get to know Derek. Maybe you would never get to know your mom, but Stiles knew that if the werewolf could drop the gruff act, Derek could be the connection you never got to make.
The minute the door opened, Stiles knew you and Derek had made that connection. There was none of the rigid awkwardness that had been there when you first came eye to eye with Derek. The two of you were laughing as you came outside, and Stiles straightened up.
Derek stood in the doorway as you stopped by Stiles, but you both stared at each other hesitantly, as if you weren’t sure how to say goodbye. You lifted up your arms slightly as he began to do the same, but you both stopped halfway, like you had forgotten how to hug.
“You guys are definitely related,” Stiles said with a grin.
“Shut up, Stiles,” you and Derek told him in unison.
This only caused him to grin wider, and wink at you. You rolled your eyes and turned back to Derek, who was smiling softly. “Thank you for everything.”
“You don’t have to leave,” he reminded you. “I don’t mind you staying for another night.”
“I know. But I have to check in with my adoptive parents. Besides, I’ll be back. I still need a pack, right?”
Derek nodded and stepped forward, and this time there was no awkwardness between you. He brought you into his arms in a firm but gentle squeeze, and you wrapped your arms around him. “Thank you.”
You had already said it, but you didn’t think you would ever be able to stop. Coming to Beacon Hills had given you more than you ever expected, and Derek’s kindness still felt like a dream to you.
He patted your back in response, and then you pulled away and headed down the hall, slinging your duffle bag over your shoulder.
“See you soon,” he called.
You turned around and nodded, and then turned your back on him a final time.
“So,” Stiles said as you headed down the steps. “How’d it go?”
“How do you think it went?” you asked, raising your eyebrows at him.
“Well, Derek was hugging you, which is something I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him do to anyone, so I’m guessing it went well.”
“You’re a genius, Stilinski.”
“Hey. No need to be so sarcastic.”
You laughed. “It was amazing. He told me about his sister Laura, about my grandma Talia…I even have an aunt who’s still alive.”
“Cora.”
“Yeah. And she’s only a few years older than me.”
“Yeah and she’s got the same attitude.”
You grinned and met Stiles’ bright brown eyes. “Thank you so much.”
“For acknowledging your attitude?”
“You know what I mean…for staying with me, for talking to me…making me feel understood.”
He shrugged. “You made me feel understood.”
“You had to my back,” you continued, running your hand along the rail of the staircase. “Even when Derek looked like he wanted to kill us. You could have just left me there, but you didn’t.”
He shook his head. “I don’t like leaving people behind…and I especially wouldn’t leave you.”
You raised your eyebrows as you came to the bottom of the stairs. “Is that right?”
“Yeah,” he said, gulping. “Cause you’re cool.”
Your lips twitched. “I’m cool?”
“Yeah,” he continued hoarsely. “And you’re funny, and we obviously have a lot in common.”
“Is that the only reason?” you prompted.
He narrows his eyes at you. “This so isn’t fair. You already know don’t you? You can tell with your werewolf superpowers.”
You rolled your eyes. “I wouldn’t call them powers.”
“Actually, neither would I. I’d call it cheating.”
“So why don’t you just spit it out, Stiles?”
He pressed his lips together in a tight line, then glanced up the steps, probably to make sure Derek wasn’t anywhere close. “Fine. I’m crushing on you. Is it that obvious?”
You grinned. “I’d be able to tell even if I wasn’t a werewolf.”
Stiles sighed. “Damn.”
“Hey,” you said softly, reaching out to touch his cheek. “I’m flattered.”
“Y-you are?”
“Mmhm,” you murmured, leaning closer.
“I-I-”
You silenced his stuttering with a kiss, and he let out a shocked groan. You grinned against his lips and nipped at his bottom lip, and he tangled his fingers into your hair. They slowly moved down to wrap around your waist, and you sighed into his mouth. Your duffle bag hit the floor with thump, and you felt happier than you had all day.
“You sure you’re not leaving?” he croaked when you separated.
“Positive.”
“Good, because after that, I’m gonna need a signed contract promising you’ll stay.”
You laughed and hitched your bag back onto your shoulder. You opened the door of the lobby and headed out into the daylight with Stiles following behind you, thinking that you couldn’t wait to be in Beacon Hills for good.

Sweet Gestures

Title: Sweet Gestures

Pairing: College AU - Dean Winchester x Reader

Words: 1908

Warnings: one little curse word, mention of (fake) murder

A/N: This was written for @thing-you-do-with-that-thing‘s Favorite Things Challenge. My prompt was strawberry/apple pie. I have been binge-watching Criminal Minds lately, so here’s a super fluffy college AU with a little bit of fake profiling involved. :)

Dean sat in the bustling coffee shop, sipping on the to-go cup and hurrying to finish his assignment before his first class started. Completely submersed in his textbooks, he was lost in his own little world of mock case files and write-ups. He paid no mind to the people around him–that is until a screaming match commenced at the cash register.

“What do you mean you’re out of apple pie? You opened not even an hour ago!”

“Miss, I’m sorry, but we only made enough for our usual morning rush. We just so happened to be busier than usual. And besides that, apple is our most popular flavor, so I’m not surprised we ran out,” the man at the register calmly explained, straining a smile at his flustered client.

“How long is it gonna be till you make more?”

“Uh, maybe another hour or so? I don’t know; I’m not the guy who makes all the food. I’m just the cashier.”

The woman didn’t respond. She simply crossed her arms tightly across her chest and looked up at the menu hanging above.

“Listen, lady. You’re holding up the line. Either pick something or leave.”

Summary: After a confrontation with Bruce, Damian is left to make a decision. One that would change everyone’s lives.

Slowly, Damian made his way down to the cave. He was in need of his Father’s assistance with a school assignment. He only had problems with history, since the way they taught it at school was the Americanized version of events. They never seemed to teach the children how everything really happened. He stopped as he heard Grayson and his father arguing.

“No, you don’t understand Bruce! Since Timmy died you’ve just been focusing on being Batman. The family doesn’t need Batman. It needs Bruce!” Damian heard his voice echoing through the cave.

“I need to bring his killer to justice, Dick. You know that the League needs me as well. I don’t have time for your nonsense.” Damian flinched over the cold tone of his voice.

“This isn’t nonsense Bruce! I don’t care if you ignore me! Jason’s on a mission right now, but what about Damian? You haven’t been with him at all! I had to learn from the Titans that not only did you miss his birthday, but were completely ignorant to Ra’s Al Ghul’s threat to Damian.” Dick snarled at the end of his sentence.

Bruce stalked towards Dick, he was so close Dick could feel his breath on his face. His hands shook by his side as they slowly formed into fists. It was so tight Damian could hear the squelching of the leather. “He never informed me of this.” Bruce said, his voice shifting from defensive to enraged.

Damian looked at the floor not knowing what to do. He wanted to tell them that they were foolish to believe he couldn’t handle himself, but at the same time he was really hurt when his father missed his birthday.

“He was about to give himself to Ra’s! He was willing to sacrifice himself again and become the monster he so desperately tried to escape! And you were nowhere to be found! Goddamn it, Bruce! We already lost Tim. Are you really okay with losing Damian? Are you okay with him dying AGAIN? ARE YOU GOING TO LET HIM DOWN AGAIN?” Dick scream at Bruce.

Suddenly, Damian heard a smack. He let out a gasp and ran downstairs. He stared at Grayson, on the floor holding his now bruised cheek.

“Grayson!” He yelled as he went to him and helped him sit up.

“Father! That was unnecessary! Apologize now!” He said glaring at his father.

“Don’t worry Lil’ D everything’s fine. We just had a misunderstanding.” He said ruffling his hair.

“Father had no right to hit you.” Damian said looking at him.

“He should not have yelled at you for simply caring about me…” He trailed off feeling overwhelmed, thinking that maybe his father did not care for him as much as he hoped.

Bruce look at him as he sighed and rubbed his face.

“This was so much easier with Tim…” he muttered under his breath.

Damian heard him and his eyes widened as he took a step back unconsciously.

“No, wait Damian that…that wasn’t what I meant” Bruce said realizing his mistake.

“Tt, well I am sorry Father but I am not Drake.” He pulled away from his father and ran upstairs.

Dick went after him, hot on his heels. “Wait Lil’ D! Dami! Damian!” He yelled as he was able to catch to him and pull him into a hug.

He rubbed his hair and Damian struggled a bit, but ended up leaning into his embrace.

“Hey, how about you stay with me for a few days? Jaybird’s coming and we would very much like your company. I think I can convince him to give back the Red Hood doll.” Damian was only able to nod against his chest. Not trusting his voice to betray him and display his weakness.

He already had clothes in Grayson’s house so he didn’t need to pack any clothes.

He let Dick manhandle him onto his back. He leaned in and enjoyed listening to his brother’s heart and breath. Dick felt reassured by the weight on his back and feeling his little brother’s heartbeat echo. Because his little brother was here and alive. He almost lost him again because he didn’t want to burden his family again. He had to tell him that sacrificing himself wasn’t the answer. He had to stop trying to take on everything himself, to let them take some of his burden because they care about him. But that was a conversation for another day.

Eventually he heard small snores coming from his back. He took out his phone and called Jason.

“Hey Dickie Bird I got us two extra meat lovers pizza.” Dick smiled at his brother.

“Hey Jaybird, could you ask for a vegetarian one? Lil’ D is joining us.” He heard Jason grunt.

“Baby Bat’s coming? Ha! I should just get another meat lovers!” He said teasingly.

“He’s had a rough night, Jay.” Dick sighed out. Jason’s voice turned to concern.

“Did the brat get hurt on patrol? I thought he wasn’t supposed to go on patrol today.”

“No, he didn’t go on patrol today, and he isn’t hurt…well not physically at least. He had a rough couple days to be honest. And Bruce didn’t help.” Jason started cursing up a storm.

“B and his emotional constipation. I know my dying didn’t mean shit to him-”

“Now, Jason you know that’s not true. Bruce was heartbroken with your death.” Dick interrupted softly.

“-but Damian, he’s just a kid for fuck’s sake! Bruce should care more dammit. After everything we went through to get him back. I would think he would actually jump at the opportunity to be a good father. Hell after what happened to Timmy…” he trailed off feeling his anger fading to sadness.

“Yeah, that’s also part of the problem…he compared him with Tim.” He heard Jason start cursing again.

“Real smooth B real smooth.” He snarled.

“Hell I’ll get a vegetarian pizza and some strawberry Ice cream for the demon spawn.” He said with a snort. Dick chuckled sadly.

“I know he misses Tim…we all do, but he’s letting that get in the way of taking care of Damian.” He said softly as he approached the safe house.

“I’m here. I’ll talk to you inside.”

During that moment, Dick forgot that Damian was a light sleeper and he managed to hear the entire conversation. Damian had to admit that he also missed Drake. They were finally able to get past their differences and could have been brothers…but now he doesn’t have a chance to.

Dick made his way inside the safe house with Damian still on his back. Jason looked up and just felt a little pang in his heart. Because Damian actually looked like a kid on Dickie Bird’s back. Something that the both of them never really had the chance to be. Maybe they could work on that with Damian. Dick smiled at him softly.

“I guess he hasn’t gotten much sleep these last few days.” He said as he gently tried to wake him up.

“Hey Lil D we’re here wake up.” Damian decided it was time to stop pretending, so he woke up and slowly rubbed his eyes.

“Todd.” He said in acknowledgement. Jason rolled his eyes and picked him up from Dick’s back and threw him to the couch. Damian let out a small “Tt” but said nothing about it. They all got comfortable and settled into a nice atmosphere, laughing and joking around.

“So Babybat I heard you had a couple rough days. What happened?” Jason asked, but Damian just sighed and shrugged.

“The usual.” He said simply not going into details.

“Come one Demon Spawn. Don’t give me that bull. Just tell your Big brother what’s wrong.”

Damian looked at him and gave him a half hearted shrug. As he stared anywhere but at his brother.

“I received a ‘gift’ from my grandfather on my birthday. It was a dead robin. In the gift he specifically told me that if I do not reclaim my position in the league he will kill me. Since Father was occupied, I decided to gather and form a team. They were targets as well, but we managed to defeat Grandfather and that’s all there is to it.” Damian said like he was explaining a stroll in the park instead a murder attempt by his grandfather. Dick actually glared at Damian.

“From what Starfire told me, there’s a lot that you’re leaving out. Now why don’t you tell us what’s missing.” Damian glared at him and crossed his arms over his chest.

“I decided that statistically, it would be a better plan for me to surrender to my grandfather. That way he would spare the lives of the Titans and no one had to die. Which was one of the more preferable outcomes” Damian said like he wasn’t talking about destroying his life.

“Damian…why didn’t you call me? Or Jason or Bruce! We would’ve helped you! You can’t keep doing this! ” Grayson exploded saying the last part. Damian stood up roughly from the table.

“Yes Grayson, tell me how exactly? You weren’t exactly taking phone calls! Todd was in a undercover mission and was unavailable. Father was on League business. I did not want to be a burden so I handled it myself.” Damian snarled and Dick and Jason just stared at their little brother not sure what to respond to the truth.

The silence was suffocating as everyone tried to figure out what to say next.

“Is it true?” Damian voice rang out and echoed through the room. Jason and Dick look at each other not sure what he meant.

“What do you mean Lil D?” Dick asked as he watched Damian sit back down.

“Is what Father said true? Was it easier with Drake?” He spoke in a low voice.

Dick eyes widened in horror as he felt like he was stabbed by a knife ten times. Because he heard the underlying meaning to what his little brother just asked. Was it easier to trust Drake? Was it easier to confide in him? Was he easier to love? If the room silence was suffocating before, now it was deadly and one false move will hurt Damian. Jason’s jaw was on the floor as he was stunned for what he just heard. He just couldn’t believe anything, that Bruce could be such an ass.

“Damian…that isn’t what Bruc- you know what let’s forget about Bruce for a while. They are many different things between you both and they’re not so easy to understand or to explain. But no, it wasn’t easier to be Tim’s brother. It was equally easy to love both of you. It was equally as hard to lose both of you as well.” Dick admitted softly as he took his little brother in his arms and gave him a hug.

Damian didn’t respond just let himself be held. Jason nodded in agreement and threw his arm over his brother’s shoulder. They stood there in a comfortable silence. Until Damian spoke once again.

“Do you miss him?” Dick nodded quickly and simply said “very much.”

Jason huffed softly “it isn’t the same without babybird around.” Damian had a contemplating look and gave a court nod.

“Would you be happy if Drake was here?” Dick sigh deeply.

“I would be extremely happy to have Tim back.” Jason just grunted in agreement. Damian nodded and got out of Dick’s embrace.

“I am heading to bed, thank you for your hospitality.” He said and just headed to his room Jason patted Dick’s shoulder, trying to bring his brother a sense of peace.

Damian went to bed for the night, but Jason was going to talk to him make sure he understood that it’s because they cared about the little brat and wanted him safe. He also was going to have a talk with Bruce with his fist on his face. Jason never expected him to win father of the year award, but the least he could do was keep the damn kid alive after just getting him back.

Meanwhile, Damian went to one of the bedrooms in the safe house. He was extremely confused and hurt about what happened today. Not that he will ever admit it aloud.

He did what his father and Grayson had taught him he protected the innocence no matter the cause. Instead of being praised for his behaviour, he was reprimanded and compared to Drake. He had mixed feelings about his brother. He may have never been close but he learned to cared for him.

The only reason for their initial mistrust was his heritage and the way he was raised. In his case, Drake represented his father’s perfect son and partner, one that he chose and wasn’t stuck with. He was the son his father wanted.

Drake to him, represented an obstacle that he had to overcome so that he could win his father’s trust…his father’s love. He tried, he truly did and it took him so long to prove to his father he could be good.

He was beginning to get along with Drake, but he still saw him as a competitor for his father’s trust. He came to realize that maybe he didn’t need to see him as an enemy. That yes, Drake had a hard time believing he could be good, but he was. Then he died and he could finally see proof that what Drake said was true… that he was evil, so evil he went to hell.

He was brought back by his family, yes, including Drake and so he thought ‘if Drake can give me another chance, then the universe can too.’ He went and decided to atone for his sins…but many bad things happened.

In the end he died once again saving the world, thankfully it was just a momentarily endeavor. After many other things he was back to being his father’s Robin, trying to do good. They started to become distant but Robin wanted to believe it was because Gotham and the Justice League needed him more than he did.

Then Drake died saving the world and the legacy became so much heavier. Bruce almost became completely nonexistent in his life. He tried to make him proud, he even went as far to rebuild the Teen Titans. He knows his father did everything in his power to bring him back…but now he wonders if given the option, would he choose Drake over him. And that kind of thinking destroyed him, because he wanted Drake to be alive. He felt guilty thinking that he came back, the unwanted child who had to earn his father’s trust. Instead of Drake, the prodigal son who his father chose to love. A part of him just wanted them to accept him and to love him. The other part, the bigger part of him just wanted to make him happy but he had no idea how. He went to bed trying to think of different ways of making his family happy. After a while, he fell asleep. In that moment he didn’t realize he had a choice to make. One that would change everything forever, one that could grant his wish and make his greatest nightmares come true.

It started as a dream, that’s what he believed. One that he did not understand. The only way he could explain it was a void that went out for miles and miles. He could only see darkness and had no sense of direction.

Damian tried to move around but he had no control over his body as gravity did not exist in this dream. Even though Damian had a hard time admitting it, he was worried and scared. His mind was telling him that it was just a dream but his body knew that it wasn’t, that something wasn’t right.

His suspicions were confirmed when he felt another presence. He could feel his heart speeding up as he tried to get into a fighting stance just to end up floating around. He let an annoyed “Tt” as he tried to regain control.

“You must calm down, little one.” A voice echoed through the void bouncing off the non-existent wall.

“You intolerable fool, I am not little!” Damian snapped, not being able to help himself. He let out a gasp as he actually saw the creature who had spoken to him.

There was no simple way to explain this creature. Damian believed there was no word to describe the magnitude of this creature’s height. He was simply even more than colossal. In a way he created an illusion that he was even taller than the heavens in the sky. He had the shape of a human body, but he had no face. It look like he absorbed every single star and light source from the universe, cursing us to eternal darkness. But in a way the creature wasn’t blinding. You could stare at it in awe for centuries and not be tired. The creature was simply breathtaking.

Damian, for once, was speechless and the creature just tilted his head to the side in a gesture of curiosity.

“You must understand, little one. I mean no harm. I only seek understanding.” The voice rang around the void and Damian had no clue as to where the voice was coming from.

He could see the creature right in front of him but he could not pinpoint the voice location or even tell if it was the creature speaking to him.

“Understanding?” Damian huffed.

“I am the one confused here! Where am I? Why am I here? What the hell are you?” Damian screeched and the creature just observed. Or that is what Damian believed as he could not see that it had eyes.

“Those are very good questions, little one. Ones that I can answer, some that I can not. You are in a safe place, one that cannot be tainted by evil. I…do not know how to explain my existence to you. I am known by many names by the humans. You are here, little one. To make a choice.”

Damian was unsatisfied by the answer he got. It was so vague it just created even more questions. Damian looked up at the creature not sure what it all meant, but he was going to make sure he found out.

“So what am I supposed to call you? Because from what I can tell so far, you just respond to ‘fool’.” Damian hissed at the creature to which made no difference to it.

“There is no need to be rude little one. I have many names. None of which I am incredibly fond of. Names are just ways to address a person. I see no use of having one. If you are so inclined of me needing one. You may call me as you wish, little one.” Damian raised an eyebrow at the creature’s roundabout way of thinking.

Names were important to Damian, they represent who he is, who he was. Wayne, Robin, Al Ghul they were not only names, but titles that defined a person. Damian ‘Tt’ once again annoyed with the lack of understanding of the creature

“I shall address you as Sirius then.” Damian concluded and he could feel the atmosphere lighten a bit

“So tell me Sirius, what is that you wish to understand and what is that choice I need to make? And how did I get here?” Damian lash out one question after another not even taking time time to breathe.

“I seek to understand you, little one. You came here of your own volition. You wish for happiness, not for you, but for your love ones. I have no understanding as to why you wish for others’ happiness above your own.” The voice echoed through the void and replayed itself in Damian’s head again and again trying to understand what he meant.

“I did not come here of my own free will!” Damian protested. Sirius actually inclined his head forward in the form of a nod.

“Your desire to make your family happy no matter the cost brought you here, little one. If you wish to leave, you can do so. If you do, that will be your choice.” Damian stared up at Sirius as goosebumps started to paint his body.

“You keep talking about a choice…what do you mean?” Damian asked as he gulped down his nerves.

Sirius hand stretched out and stopped in front of Damian. He stared at Sirius confused and eventually he went and stood up on his hand. Sirius slowly lifted his hand and what felt like an eternity later Damian was finally face to head with the creature. Damian body shivered as he look at the creature with no face.

“Little one, you are here because you wish for something that I have the power to give you.” Sirius explained.

Damian looked up at him shyly.

“You…can make them happy? All of them?” Damian ask hopefully.

Sirius just nodded.

“I do have the power to do that, little one.” The creature’s voice resonated inside of Damian giving him a new hope.

“Even Drake…?” He asked with innocent and hopeful eyes.

“Yes little one, Timothy is included in the deal.” Damian looked at the creature dubiously.

“How can you promise so much? You are even offering bringing back Timothy. What are you?” Damian exclaimed feeling concerned with the possibilities.

“I am the guardian of this reality, Little one.” Sirius admitted.

“This…isn’t a dream that I created to indulge in my delusions?” Damian stated more than asked.

“Little one, this is very much real. I can grant your family the happiness that you wish for them. There is a way I can do that for you.” Damian looked down at his hand and sighed.

“What is the catch? It is a choice isn’t it?” Damian said getting straight to business.

“I am the guardian of this reality, but I do not have the power to change reality and keep it the way I wish to permanently.” Sirius explain and Damian scowled at him.

“Why have you offered me something that you cannot give me?” Damian snarled wanting to punch the creature for giving him a glimmer of hope.

“But you have the power to change reality, little one. It does come with a price. It is your choice, I do not gain or lose anything because of it.” The creature said as he lowered Damian just a bit.

“Then why offer me a choice? Why help me when you have nothing to gain from it?” Damian said as he tried not to cry.

“I felt your deep conflict inside. You desperately wish for your family’s happiness and never thought of your own, little one. I heard your wishes and I believe if anyone is worthy of this opportunity it would be you.” Damian wiped away the stray tears that managed to escape.

“What is the price I must pay?” Damian finally asked after a while. The creature just 'stared’ at Damian until the voice started echoing again through the void.

“I can change the current reality and make it into one where your loved ones are happy. Little one, in this reality you can not exist.” Damian gasped and stumbled backward falling on his rear. He sat in the creature’s hand contemplating the situation.

“Are you saying…that in a world where I exist, my family won’t be happy?” Damian said feeling overwhelmed by the situation.

“No, little one. There are realities where everyone can be happy, but in this scenario, that is the only one that’s possible.” Damian looked up at Sirius.

“I have to die for my family’s happiness.”

“Little one, you are not going to die. You are going to become one with the reality. Your soul will act as the cement that will hold the new reality and make it permanent. You will not die, but cease to exist.” Sirius explained softly.

Damian looked at him and just thought over his options. With everything that has happened over the last few weeks, his family deserved to be happy. He even offered to bring Timothy back. Everyone missed Timothy, his father hadn’t been the same since…He could make them all happy.

He died once already, Damian thought to himself, he actually died more than once. Maybe… maybe it would be better that way. Damian looked up at Sirius as he felt himself cave into the pressure of making his father happy.

“Are you sure? That you can bring Timothy back? Make them all happy?” Damian asked desperately as he swallowed down his fear.

“Yes, little one. I give you my word.” Sirius said nodding to him.

“Will it hurt?” He questioned shyly and he shook his head “at the end only.”

“Deal,” Damian said finally and Sirius nodded.

“Little one, there is something that you must remember. This is your choice.” Damian nodded and just stared blankly ahead not really focusing on anything.

He had no way to explain what just happened. He just agreed to give up his existence for his brothers…for his father. His gaze snapped back to Sirius.

“I want to make sure that you keep your word and bring Timothy back…I would also like to say goodbye as well.” Damian said but trailed off in the end.

“Of course little one. At dusk, Timothy will appear before you in your favorite part of woods. And by the end of nightfall you will disappear from their lives. There is something you must know little one…because you are giving up your existence for this…it would mean that you would have never been born. There is a very large possibility that they will not remember you at all.” Sirius warned, to which Damian just scoffed.

“Good, that way they won’t let my efforts go in vain.” Damian was left alone.

He woke up with a jolt back in his own room. He was sweating buckets and breathing harshly. He stared at his hand waiting for something, anything to believe what he just witnessed.

He had no proof that he really made the deal with Sirius but he felt it in his gut that it was true. He looked at his cellphone and he slept most of the day. It was already around two and he had a lot of preparations to do.

He stood and and dressed himself quickly. He went to the kitchen where he saw Jason and Dick. Dick’s smile brightened as soon as he saw him.

“Hey Lil D! You finally got some sleep huh? Here! Jason made breakfast and I helped!” Dick said cheerfully while Jason snorted.

“You mean I made breakfast and made sure you didn’t burn anything?” Damian raised an amused eyebrow at that.

Which only made Dick laugh some more and shake his head. Damian took a piece a paper and wrote down some coordinates and a time.

“I am heading to the manor. I need you to be here at this time. It is important.” Jason looked at the paper and back at Damian.

“Sure squirt, if you say it’s important I be there right on the dot.” Damian nodded satisfied and loomed at Dick hopefully.

“Hey Dami…maybe I should go with you to the manor. I can help you get the stuff you need and then we can head to the meeting place. You-” Dick was interrupted by Jason’s hand softly landing on his shoulder.

“Nah, don’t worry Dickie Bird. Look at his face, he knows what he’s doing.” Damian gave him a small smile and left.

Steadily Damian made his way to the Manor. He could see his hands trembling as he could feel sweat drops run down his face. He was having trouble thinking exactly what to tell his father.

They had fought, he had stormed out and now he had no idea how to fix it. He took one of his trembling hands and lifted it up to his face. His breath shook as he tried to gain control of it. The tremors became stronger and his breathing became erratic.

Eventually it turned into gasps as he tried to get a lungful of air. He stopped walking a long time ago and his mind kept racing. Before he knew tears started rolling down his face and small sobs overtook him. As he had no idea what he was supposed to tell his father. Or if he even should. Damian started to scold himself as he knew he couldn’t be weak, not now, not after accepting the opportunity for his loved ones’ happiness. He couldn’t be selfish, not now.

He harshly rubbed his eyes as he tried to regain control. In his mind, he already wasted too much time. When Damian was finally able to calm himself he arrived at the Manor. He walked in where he saw Pennyworth.

He approached him and straightened his spine as he held his head up. At that movement, he faltered, as it ended up looking stiff and uncomfortable. Alfred raised his eyebrow in a knowing way.

“Hello Master Damian, it is a pleasure to see you again.” Damian’s spine relaxed at the gentle tone and Damian manage a tiny smile.

“Likewise Pennyworth. I wish to speak to my father.“ Damian’s hands started trembling softly again.

“I am sorry to inform you, Master Damian. Master Bruce was called up for League business. He will not be back for at least two days.” Alfred informed him matter-of-factly.

Damian’s heart deflated as huge disappointment crushed his soul.

“Two days? Is there any way he can make an early return?” His voice cracked a bit on the end of his question.

“Master Damian, it seems it was an emergency. There is no possible way for him to return earlier than that.” Damian let out a miserable “oh.”

Damian scoffed as he rubbed his puffy eyes. He looked at Alfred as he open his mouth and close it once again.

Damian was not sure how to act without arising any suspicion from what he was planning to do. Damian felt his body shaking as he abruptly turned around, making sure to keep his expression hidden from the butler, that he saw more like a grandfather.

“I wish to see my pets Pennyworth.” He started walking towards the cave as he felt himself slow down his steps.

He took a deep breath and turned around. He made his way and saw himself in front of Pennyworth. Without thinking about it too much, scared that he would change his mind. He hugged Pennyworth. He pulled his arms around him and hugged him tightly. He put his head on his chest as felt the warmth of the butler spread through him.

“Oh my word! Young Master.” Alfred said startled, but did not hesitate to return the hug.

“Thank you Pennyworth. For everything.” Before Alfred could react, Damian let go and went to see his pets.

He made his way down the cave where all his pets were. One by one he hugged and kissed them muttering how proud he was of each and single one.

“You guys are my family too. Sirius said he will make my family happy. I am confident that you guys will have a glorious life such as you deserve.” He said to Alfred the cat, Titus and Batcow.

He made his way towards Goliath and hugged him as Goliath nuzzle against him.

“Don’t worry, I am certain that you will be with your family again because of this. I am sorry for taking them away, but you’ll be happy now.” He hiccuped the last part. He was aware that he did not have enough time to wander anymore.

“I must go. Thank you for taking care of me.” He said and left.

He made his way to the forest arriving ten minutes before the meeting time, his hands having not stopped trembling since he left the manor. His chest felt heavy as many different emotions swirled inside his head. Fear and worry were the emotions he felt most.

Time seemed to slow down as Damian could only hear his own heartbeat. He looked at the sun nervously as it would soon start to set. He started fidgeting as he realized that maybe it was all a dream, that maybe his desire overtook his mind and it was just playing a cruel joke in his mind. But he felt in his soul that Sirius was not a dream, but a being that had the power to make his family happy.

He took deep breath as he close his eyes as he force himself to calm down. His heart picked up its pace with every second that went by and he could not see either of his brothers.

His back slowly started to tense up and soon became as tight as a rod. He looked around desperately as he tried to locate any of his brothers.

In reality they weren’t late they still had five minutes before the sun started to set. He realize he should have asked them to come sooner as he had no idea on how this would play out. Not a second, later he saw both Jason and Dick making their way towards him.

In that moment his body relaxed a little as he saw Grayson smile and Jason smirk.

“Hey Babybat sorry we’re late but Dickiebird here decided to bring the entire apartment with us!” Jason said playfully as he rolled his eyes and showed Damian a picnic basket.

“Well of course! You only wanted to bring meat! And you know Damian’s vegetarian. Lil’ D don’t worry, big brother’s got you covered.” Dick said as he started pulling out some of Damian’s favorite snacks.

The only ones Grayson knew he like. A knot got stuck in his throat as he saw his brothers chatting happily, playfully setting up a picnic. Just because he asked them to come. No other reason than that. He tried to swallow down that knot but nothing, he didn’t feel any better. As he stared at the sun and noticed it descend.

“Richard, Jason.” Both their head snap towards Damian as their jaws dropped hearing their full names coming out of Damian’s mouth.

“Lil D…?” Dick’s voice went up slightly.

“I-” Damian started and then cut himself off as he struggled to figure out what to say. He hadn’t thought this through. He turned around and looked as the sky started changing into a curtains of oranges, reds and purples. Slowly dancing together, bringing out hope and the promise of a new tomorrow, a new future and most importantly, happiness for his family.

Damian was mesmerized by the sunset for a minute thinking that he was glad that he shared this place with his brothers.

When he turned around his brothers also looked mesmerized as they observed at the scene in front of them. Damian stared at the way Dick smiled and his eyes sparkled with the juvenile joy that he like to tease him about. Then he turned to Jason as his mouth curved into a small smile and his body was in a relaxed stance. In that moment, Damian decided that he actually prefered that view much better than the sunset.

Slowly his eyes widened as he unconsciously took a step back as behind his brothers, Timothy suddenly appeared. Alive…breathing. He actually was able to bring him back. He gasped and that broke his brothers trance as their eyes snapped towards him .

Dick’s eyebrow furrowed as he stared at Damian, whose whole demeanor changed in disbelief, wonder and…fear? Dick thought to himself in confusion.

“Dick…Jason…how?” A voice behind them asked.

Dick and Jason breath got stuck in their lungs as they slowly turned around. Dick hand went to his mouth as tears ran down his face in utter amazement.

“Babybird?” Jason asked as he took a hesitant step forward.

Happiness, relief and most of all surprise could be seen on Tim’s face as he nodded desperately. He tried to walk towards his brothers but he stumbled as his strength started to leave him. In an instant, both brothers were broken from their trances as they went to help thim. Dick ran towards Tim and he grabbed his face in his hands as he sobbed happily.

“How…? I thought…Tim you were dead….you were dead.” Dick said between hiccups as he touched Tim forehead with his own.

In the meantime, Jason helped both his brothers stay standing. Tim shook his head desperately.

“No…no they took me…and you guys…how?” Tim said confusion heavy in his voice.

“How were you guys able to save me? Where are we? Why are we here?” Tim ask question after question rapidly without even taking a second to breathe. As he tried to understand what was happening.

Dick was to focused on making sure that his little brother was actually there. That he was safe, that he was real, that it was really their Timmy. Jason was the one who answered his questions.

“I don’t know Timmy…we thought you were dead….we came here because Damian invited us here. We thought it was just for a picnic…Damian?” The moment Jason look up he was shocked.

Damian stood there with the saddest smile he had ever seen. He looked content, but at the same time, resign to the scene in front of him. He didn’t move to join his brothers and just stared at the scene before him as he felt at peace with what was happening. He, at the moment, had all his brothers’ attention.

“What did you do?” Tim ask quietly as his eyes widened in horror. Damian…he was disappearing slowly. The scene was heartbreakingly beautiful.

Damian stood there as the sky started to fade from orange to dark violets and blue. In the dark of the sky Damian was the only source of light that they had. As little fireflies started appearing where Damian started to fade. Starting with his legs and steadily working its way up. The fireflies adorned the night as they mixed with the darkness and the sky making it seen as they were surrounded by stars dancing in the night. Damian stared down at himself as he let out a wet laugh.

“What did you do?” Dick yelled scared as he saw as his little brother slowly disappear before him.

Damian looked up at them and gave them a watery smile. Tears ran down his face leaving a glowing trace.

“I fixed it.” He said hiccuping at then end. He lifted his hand as he slowly saw it start to glow and fade into hundreds of fireflies.

“Now you can be happy…finally happy.” Damian eyes begged for them to understand him.

“I made a deal…and they promised me your happiness. They said they could bring Timothy back…your happiness means the world to me.” Damian admitted as he stared at his brother, love resonating with every single one of his words.

“Damian…what was the deal?…no….break it..don’t do it! You can’t! You can’t die! Not because of me! Not again!” Timothy was the one to yell this time and Damian shook his head softly.

“No…Timothy I can’t I made my decision. I-” Jason cut him off with a snarl.

“No! You listen here Damian. We went to hell to bring you back! I won’t let you throw that away with your sacrificial bullshit! What makes you think this is what we want? Dammit Damian! We care about you! Don’t do this to us…not again-…” Jason finished the last part begging. Dick took a hesitant step forward as his body shook with uncontrollable sobs.

“Lil D what are you doing? We need you! I NEED YOU! Please think of what your doing we can find another way. Please don’t go…Damian you can’t die on me again. I love you…I love you…you’re my son please…Don’t make me lose my son again. I love you I love you I love you.” Dick repeated over and over and over.

Damian stared at him as he smiled at them sadly.

“I also love you…I love all of you…You deserve better…this is why I am doing this. You all deserve to be happy. I have the power to do it…so why not?” He stared at them and even Jason was crying at the moment.

“Shit kid…no, I’ll give you the Red Hood doll if you don’t go.” Jason tried to reason as his brother started to disappear more and more.

Damian let out a wet chuckle and shook his head.

“Don’t go, please, not again. What makes you think that you not being here would make us happy? You can’t do this Damian. I FORBID IT!!” Dick’s voice broke as he yelled and started walking towards Damian.

He simply smiled at Dick and open his arms. Dick sprinted towards his little brother, his son. He jumped toward Damian trying to hold him, to keep him here, to save him.

“I love you Dick…please be happy.” Damian said so softly, so tenderly that Dick felt every ounce of truth in it.

Dick put his arms out to catch Damian to hug him, but the moment he touched him. Damian’s body disappeared completely. Dick fell to the ground as he open up his hand and a lone firefly flew out and disappeared. Taking with it their little brother.

“NO!” A broken sob was the only thing heard through the quiet, dark echoes of the forest.

Stuck In The Middle With You

Imagine catching Dwalin staring at your breasts.

Dark waves shone in the lamplight as you dragged the thick bristles through your loose locks delicately. You admired the ripple of your hair as you sat hypnotized by the motion reflected in the mirror before you. It was a calming habit you had fallen into since the Mountain had been reclaimed. Upon the journey to Erebor, your hair had been left unkempt in favour of your axe as you tended to it every night with your whet stone. Now that there were no foe to swing your blade at, you needed less dangerous hobbies…and not just for your own sake.

Request: May I please request a scenario where dick and Jason start to fall for batgirl!reader who has been at the job longer than they have and who helped train them. Thank you :)
Summary: The boys are catching feelings, and you need to talk to them about it.
Word count: 560
Warning(s): Plot twist ?

You were Bruce’s first batgirl, but not long after you were given the okay to patrol, a new child showed up, his name was Richard, or Dick for short. Bruce told you to train him, in hopes of having his first Robin and train him you did. He was very flexible and had good stamina for long drawn out fights. You knew he had it in him, soon after Bruce presented him with the Robin costume and you were often partners on patrol.

Soon after, another boy was brought in, apparently stealing Batman’s tires. He’s so tiny, how is that even possible. You and Dick took him under your wing, getting him acquainted with everything, while training him to the best of both of your abilities.

Bruce thought Jason was ready, and thus he was given a Robin costume.
But now, years later, after Jason’s death and reincarnation, you three were as close as ever. Jason found comfort in you, and Dick was always ready to come kick ass with you two, but there was also an unspoken tension between the two men, that you weren’t aware of.

“Do you think y/n would actually date either of us?” Jason asks his older brother, arms crossed over his chest. “Well we won’t find out unless one of us makes a move.” He smirked supporting his hands on Jason’s kitchen counter. “Hey boys, I’m here!” You yell at the door.

“What did you want me here for,” you kindly smile. “Well me and Jason here have been having a small dispute,” Dick explains, to which you nod your head “What’s this dispute about?” You ask, sitting on the couch.

“You,” Jason sighs. “Me?” You ask back, baffled. “Me and Jason here, have both been catching feelings for you. So we need to know who you’d be happier with,” Dick continues, as both of the men’s heart clenches in fear.

Your mouth nearly falls open. “Well there is a tiny issue with it….” You say before Jason interrupts you, “is there someone else?”
“No,” You violently shake your head, “Is it us, are we too problematic?” Dick asks in concern, scrunching his brow.

No, boys stop let me talk.” You sigh in frustration, before the intenseness of the moment kicks in, two sets of eyes on you. “Look it wouldn’t work, because….” You say doubtfully, “Because I’m gay, I don’t like men in that way” You tell them, searching for any inkling of a reaction. The boys give each other a look, before smiling. “Why didn’t you tell us?” Dick asks, sitting next to you, Jason sitting on the other side.

“I was scared, of what you would think, what the family would think,” you confess, as Dick pulls you into a tight hug. “We wouldn’t judge you,” Jason smiles.

A moment of affection later Dick pulls away. “So have you met any lovely ladies?” Dick asks with honest interest. “I went on a second date with someone last night,” you smile sweetly at the thought of her. “Really? Is she treating you right? She better be?” Jason says protectively, causing you to laugh, “yeah, she is,” you say.

“Well I think it’s safe to say that we're both happy that you’re happy,” Dick smiles. “Yeah,” Jason agrees with an equally bright smile. You were glad to have people so loving and supportive.

The party at the Avenger’s tower had finally died down and it was just the main group that was sitting around in the common area. You were sitting next to Sam and had your feet in his lap, as they were killing you. Being on your feet was something that was starting to become a pain, and you couldn’t do it as much as you used too.
