which is just not cool

you have more hands than a child
trying to catch the cool rain / which,
in february, holds just a second too
long in the sky / as if deciding whether
or not it’s time to come down. or

if this is another day for staying in
bed. & you say / “not everything is
pathetic fallacy / the weather is not
about you / the sky is not always
about you.” / & maybe not but I’m not

the only one who prays for winter
anymore. when I talk about grey
clouds / I picture you on my window-
seat / a replica marble david we
had to break in half to fit inside
the display case. & I try and talk

about the window even though we
both know there’s nothing to say.
just like how / when the snow
piles up past the door you can
turn the handle / but there’s nowhere
to go. I want to talk about the dark

& the colour & the faint
blue of your fingertips. / but you
remind me of something you did
last night / when the ice was just
starting to form and the coldest

place in the house / was the 3
centimeters between my reaching
hand and your broad back. you like
the sternum before the first incision
& the oak before acorns start to

grow. you climbed out of bed in the
untouched morning to look at something
pure. listen to me—I’m trying to tell you
something important / about how
much this youngness hurts.

Another Pink Diamond Theory.. sorta

A stupid thought came to me while re watching back to the moon.

Pink Diamond’s mural is drastically different from the murals of the other three diamonds.

White, yellow and Blue all have an ethereal floating stance.

Pink’s mural is standing almost as if she’s freshly bursting out of the ground. To me it looks like a mural of a newly emerged diamond.

Stewing on that thought I wondered where she was and what she was doing as her “sisters” gained control of so many planets. Then the thought hit me. What if the Earth was truly hers. Diamonds are quite large and are supposed to have a lot of power. A planet that had enough life to bring a diamond to life might truly be rare. A planet that was lush with life to the extreme and have vast resources would be needed.

Considering the size and power of a diamond I can imagine it would create quite the impressive emergence hole on the planet they were born on. Now where on Earth has there been a enormous change in geography that is missing?

Making earth the place of a diamond’s possible birth and death.

I can’t stop thinking about how Trunks travelled back in time, chopped up Freeza, blew up King Cold, and then popped open this freaking mini fridge full of cool pop and was like “hey everyone, sodas on me, help yourself”

So, about that 76 on Soldier’s back...

I was watching Designated Survivor on Netflix just now (which is a very cool show that I can totally recommend) and I hit pause in this very scene - see that 76 on the US flag in the back? Shame on me, but I didn’t know what exactly that flag was supposed to mean, so I googled it.

It’s the Bennington flag, and of course the 76 means 1776, the year of the Declaration of Independence.

But wait, what exactly is the “Spirit of ‘76″…?

Okay, so this may just be me, but stuff like “self-determination”, “individual liberty” and “to overturn the power of tyrants” does sound a little like Jack Morrison, no? I mean, he’s essentially a vigilante fighting his own fight for justice and liberty. Maybe he’s supposed to be a personified part of the Spirit of ‘76.

I’ve actually never thought about the number 76 relating to the Declaration of Independence, but since Jack Morrison is literally like a piece of white bread with the American flag printed on it, it makes sense.

But that’s just my idea about the whole 76 thing.

I guess Michael Chu would just reply “lol no it’s his age we messed up the time line sry u guys what is lore”.

…this makes me happy

I’m glad they aren’t getting off freely, I’m glad the system isn’t so backward as to say “hey, you did the wrong thing and broke the law, but seeming as you have special powers we’ll let you and your friend off.” The punishment they’re getting is a light one, considering their behaviour on the battlefield, anyone else would have had a far more serious sentence.

What happened out there was insubordination and is a serious offense, can people stop pretending this story is about a group of kids being able to do whatever they want when they willingly signed up to the military and there are other lives to consider? It doesn’t matter what the current situation is, the current situation also didn’t warrant arguing like children over human lives, either.

The system actually makes a lick of sense and is capable of justice, for once. That’s a positive thing.

anyways im still not over the fact that dan and phil went north for new years eve and dan make iron beaded horses with their friends kid

Because I will never not enjoy speculating…

It would strike me as strange if the series ends without seeing Michael again.

Lucifer’s explanation of “he’s singing show tunes and touching himself” and God saying he wasn’t in any shape to fight – it kinda makes me think that they’re holding Michael in their back pocket for the end of the show or something. It also seems odd to leave him in the corner while Lucifer is back on the board.

Lucifer and Michael were the original mirrors for Sam and Dean. The big, big difference between them is that when Sam was “cast out” by their father, Dean went after him.

Plus they’ve already shown us how easy it was for Lucifer to hop from vessel to vessel, so even if they can’t get Adam Milligan or young John back, there’s not really an excuse. We could easily say, “well, that story has already been told” or “let’s stop recycling old plots,” but… there’s definitely more that could be said. Chuck and Amara got closure. Lucifer and Michael got tossed into jail.

What I’m really, really torn on is whether or not I wanna see Michael!Dean.

On one hand, seeing Jensen actually play another character (which pretty much everyone else has had a chance to do) would be fucking wonderful. Especially if Lucifer wasn’t exaggerating and we do get to see Unbalanced!Michael!Dean.

On the other hand, between Sam, Dean, and Cas, Dean is the only one who has never said “yes” to an archangel, which kinda paints him as the poster child for free will.

And on the other other hand, Dean is supposed to be the “firewall between light and darkness,” and a nice dose of angel grace would balance out the whole turning into a demon thing.

But… yeah. I’d like a satisfying end to Lucifer and Michael’s story, not a throwaway line that Michael is in the cage masturbating until the end of time

if you think I forgot about my fave boys, you’re so wrong even though their outfits are nowhere near as fun as the girls. I mean come on, Morgan.
