I glanced down at the warm coffee mug in my hand. I wanted desperately to drink the liquid and escape the awkward conversation I had been having. My coworkers had forced me into a blind date and the guy that they had set me up with was the worst of the worst. He reeked of funk and cheap perfume. He wore a goofy plaid suit with a bow tie that was far too big.

But hey I’m not so superficial that I’m only into looks if the person has a great personality I’d be willing to compromise. This guy’s personality was lacking to say the least. He rambled on and on about random things I cared nothing about.

The worst thing of all was his obsession with my lotion. He said he loved my lotion and kept asking to smell my hand.

I wanted nothing more than out of this situation, I glanced at the watch on my arm. Okay it’s been twenty minutes, ten more and I can respectfully excuse myself saying that I was feeling unwell. A few minutes had passed and he had asked to smell my hand again. I decided I just couldn’t stay any longer so I politely told him I needed to go to the bathroom.

On my way to the bathroom I bumped into my boss and friend from college. I was surprised that he was actually getting his own coffee. He looked really nice in his tailored suit and slicked back hair.

“Ohh….Mr.Kim.” I said.

“Oh hey y/n what are you doing here?”

“Just having coffee. How are you?” I asked glancing over my shoulder and to see if my blind date had noticed me talking to Namjoon. He hadn’t.

“I’ve been good, I’m sorry am I keeping you away from your date?” He asked following my eyes to look at the man as well.

“No, I mean yes. But it’s totally fine because I was just planning my escape route.” I said laughing.

“Has he been sniffing his fingers like that the entire time?” He said taking another quick glance at the man.

“Yes and it’s driving me insane, he has this weird obsessing with smelling things. He keeps asking to smell my hands.” I said making Namjoon explode with laughter.

“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of this.” He said smiling softly before grabbing my hand and leading me back to the table.
“What are you going to do?” I asked trying to keep up with his long legged steps.

“Just follow my lead.” He said winking.

Once we walked over to the table my date looked up at me with a confused look on his eyes.

“What’s going on y/n?” He asked standing up.

“Hi buddy, I’m sorry to let you know that your date is over now.” Namjoon stated plainly.

“What are you talking about?” He asked.

“Well I don’t know if y/n has told you about me but I’m her ex-boyfriend. We’ve decided now that we are madly in love with each other and want to rekindle our love and get married.” Namjoon said taking out a very expensive engagement ring and sliding it on my finger. I couldn’t help but show the confused look on my face and Namjoon noticed wrapping his arm around my waist.

“Is – Is this true?” He said looking at me.

“Yes im sorry. I didn’t want to hurt your feelings but I’m in love.” I said glancing up at Namjoon with a fake smile.

My date said nothing and immediately walked out of the café.

“Poor guy he looked like he was going to cry.” Namjoon said sitting down at the table.

“Are you going to finish that?” He said pointing to my drink.

I sat down across from him and finally took a sip of my now warm beverage.

“Thank you so much for helping me. You don’t understand how awful that date was going.” I said.

“Of course, what are friends for?” He said. Friends?

“My lunch break is over and I really do have to get back to work now Mr. Kim.” I said arising from my seat.

“Yeah me too, but hey you owe me. You know for helping you out of your blind date from hell.” He said jokingly.

“Um okay, what do you want? Money?” I said

“I don’t want your money, I want your time.” He said.

“My time?” I asked inquisitively.

“Yes pick a place any place sometime next week and go out on a date with me.” He said smiling wide enough to show his dimples.

“Okay. Sure I’ll go on a date with you, but I really do have to get back to work so i’ll text you.” I’m sure I could find his number somewhere at the office.

“It’s a deal.” He said standing up.

“Oh before I forget, here you go. ” I said as I removed the beautiful engagement ring from earlier off of my finger. “

“Keep it, it’s yours.” He said.

“It looks very expensive, are you sure?” I asked.

“Of course, and wear it on our date next week.” He said causing me to blush slightly.

Two days later and I finally had the chance to call Namjoon to make plans with him. It was hard finding time with my busy work schedule but we’d decided on Friday.

Friday came quicker than I had anticipated and I finished off my work load quickly so that I could go home and change into something presentable for the date.

It had surprised me how much I cared about how I looked but I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to impress Namjoon a bit.

He looked so good when I had ran into him at the cafe. He was always a handsome guy. Tall, lean and with a killer smile. All of the girls at the office wanted him.

He showed them no interest though. We all just assumed that he had a girlfriend or something. He never really talked about his personal life. I went to college with him but I still knew very little about him.

I wasnt one to pry though. So I never asked him anything too personal that could possibly make him uncomfortable. He did however, ask me personal questions frequently. Making the other girls at the office wonder why he showed me special attention. I just told them that it was probably because we went to university together so he knew me longer.

I took one last glance in the mirror. I wore my hair in a slicked back pony tail. I wore a white sweater crop top, a high wasted fitted black skirt and pair of simple black heels. I paired it with a gray furry clutch and red lipstick. Simple yet eye catching. What guy could resist?

When I showed up to the dimly lit restaurant, I immediately noticed Namjoon sitting in the corner on his phone.

I made my way to the table and when he saw me he quickly arose from his seat staring at me extensively.

“Damn, you look fantastic.” He said.

“Thank you.” I said blushing and sitting down at the table as he followed suit.

“What are you drinking?” I said looking at the menu.

Namjoon would not take his eyes off of me.

“Whatever you are drinking.” He replied.

Two gin and tonics later, Namjoon and I were laughing and reminiscing about our college days.

“You know, I had a really huge crush on you in college.” He said.

A surprised expression overtook my face as I looked up at him.

“Really?” I asked.

“Yes really, you didnt really talk to me though.” He said.

“Well I kinda of just saw you as a cool guy that everybody wanted and I tried avoided you at all cost.” I said.

“Hmm.” He put on a thinking face. “You thought I was cool?” He joked.

The time seemed to fly by with Namjoon and to be honest. I didn’t want this night to end. I don’t know if it was because of the liquor in our systems or the fact that we felt more comfortable with each other, but we were having a great time.

“That looks great on you, it really suits you.” Namjoon said pointing at the engagement ring.

“Yeah, it’s kind of weird wearing an engagement ring when I’m not even getting married.” I said playing with the ring.

“I can change that. ” Namjoon said gazing into my eyes.

“What?” I said, taking my eyes off of the ring and focusing them back on him.

“Marry me.” He said, expression unchanged.

“Goodness, I think you’ve had a bit too much to drink.” I said as I playfully moved Namjoon’s glass out of his reach.

“Im not drunk and im very serious.” He said smiling.

“Namjoon we’ve been on one date. Why would I marry you?” I asked seriously.

“Because you owe me.” He replied.

“No, I don’t. I’ve paid off my debt with this date. ” I said.

“Okay, well how about for $500,000.” He asked taking a sip of his drink.

“Half a million dollars?!” Where would you get that type of money from?“ I asked.

“Here’s the deal. My parents are very rich as you know. I was supposed to get a trust fund on several millions when I turned 23 but my parents are refusing to give it to me. They want me to get married first. So that’s where you come into the plan. You help me and I’ll help you.” He said.

I couldnt believe I was actually thinking about this. Marrying someone I wasnt even dating, and for money.

“Namjoon as tempting as that sounds. I dont want to be married right now.” I told him.

“And neither do I. Which is why we will have the marriage annulled within a month. After my parents give me the money.” He said.

“Wont your parents find that odd?” I asked.

“No I’ll just tell them that you only wanted me for my money or something like that.” He said.

I couldn’t believe how long I was pondering this. But marrying Namjoon didn’t seem too terrible. I mean I get half a million dollars for a fake marriage that we could have annulled within a month.

Before I could give him an answer my phone started to ring.

“Can you excuse me for one moment please?”

“Go ahead.” He nodded his head lightly

I got up from the table and walked to the restroom where it was a bit quieter.

“Where are you y/n” my father spoke into the phone.

“I’m uh at work still.” I lied

“You were suppose to be here for dinner 30 minutes ago”

“I’m sorry dad. I got a little carried away.” I had completely forgot that my parents wanted me home for dinner tonight.

“We’ll make your way here. I’m starving and your mother wants us to wait on you.”

“Yes sir.” I said before hanging up the phone.

I walked back to the table to see Namjoon taking a sip from his drink.

“Thank god. For a second I thought you were going to sneak out.” He joked.

“No never but I have to go. I’ll sleep on your proposition and let you know first thing in the morning.” I smiled and thanked him for dinner before heading home.

I was 23 years old and my parents still treat me like a kid. I had to do everything they asked of me. It was always their way or no way and although I knew I could just rebel it hurt to much disobey my parents.

I arrived home in about 10 minutes and this was not achieved by following the law. I used my key to open the door and walked into the dining room to see my mom and dad sitting at the dinner table.

“Glad you could make it.” My mom smiled at me. I pulled her into a warm embrace and placed a soft kiss on her cheek.

“Take a seat.” My father coldly instructed. Me and my father never had a loving relationship. He definitely put his authority as my father to use but he never showed me any love. He never showed any emotion whatsoever, not even to my mom. I didn’t understand how you could love a woman enough to marry her have a child with and raise a child and still be so heartless and cold. My mother blamed it on the war, she says he wasn’t always like this.

“You’ve been working a lot but you haven’t been getting any promotions.” My father asked taking a bit of his food.

“Uh there isn’t exactly anything for me to be promoted too. All the spots are filled.”

“Well then you need to empty them and put yourself there.” He lectured. My father has always wanted for me to be successful.

“I’ll try.” I replied looking down in shame. I was never good enough for him.

“Give her a break honey. They just haven’t noticed her potential yet.” My mom said

“Well it’s important that she puts herself out there so that they do.”

She quickly returned to eating her food. I could tell she wanted to help me but I wasn’t the one who had to sleep with him at night. I smiled at her letting her know I’d be okay.

“Why haven’t you eaten any of your food?” My mom asked changing the subject.

“I’m not really hungry.” I simply replied.

“Why?” My father asked. He always had to make things so complicated.

“I already ate today - while I was working.” I quickly corrected myself. My father would flip If he found out I was out on a date. He told me that I didn’t need to date. That I should focus on my career.

Dinner was finally done and although I wanted to leave as quick as possible, I kindly helped my mother clean the dishes and then headed home.

When I arrived I decided to call Namjoon. I dont know why but for some reason after talking to my parents I really wanted to talk to him.

“Wow, I wasnt expecting your call until the morning.” Namjoon said.

“Okay, Not saying that Im agreeing with this. But lets say I say yes. When would the wedding be?”

“Tomorrow.” Namjoon said.

“What?!” I questioned.

“You heard me, it’s tomorrow. So what do do you say y/n, will you marry me?”

“My #TeenChoice nominee for #ChoiceTVChemistry is Regina & Emma from #OUaT #SwanQueen” GOOOOOO PLEASE

Taylor Imagine

“Bella stop being Debby Downer..” Kait said as she bumped Bella in the arm.

“Seriously, Kait? I know we’re at Magcon and I know that i should be beyond happy but Tay isn’t even here. Sure, call me petty but i dont care he was who i wanted to see.” Bella said while rolling her eyes.

“I get it! If Aaron wasn’t here I’d die! but you gotta try and have fun!!” Kait told Bella.

“Alright, but i gotta call my mom. I’ll be right back.” Bella turned and walked away.

Magcon was being held in the ball room of this random hotel in Boston, and for some reason, Bella could not get phone reception.

Okay this is really annoying. Why the hell can’t i get reception.

She walked the halls of the hotel trying to find a spot where her phone worked. She walked onto this balcony and looked at the bars on her phone.

“FINALLY” she shouted.

“This the only place you get service too?” A voice came out of no where and scared Bella.

“Uh yeah” She chuckled nervously.

She thought she recognized the voice, but no, it couldnt be him.

“Why aren’t you at the event? And what’s ya name?” He asked.

Oh. My. God.

It was him! Taylor Caniff is standing right in front of Bella.

“Well, I came to Magcon for you, and word on the street was you weren’t gonna come so i went on an adventure i guess. Plus i needed to call my Mom. And I’m Bella.” Bella explained.

“Ahh, i see. Well, I’m here now and don’t need to make my surprise appearance for another 15 mins, want to keep me company?” Taylor asked with puppy dog eyes.

“Welllll, since you asked nicely.” Bella says with a playful tone.

“I was hoping you’d say yes, c'mon, we’ll go back to my room. No sense in sitting out here.” He says as he leads Bella towards his hotel room.

Bella’s mind is racing but she plays it cool and follows him to his room.

When they reach the door, Tay opens it and lets Bella go first. She sits on the bed and Taylor comes and sits next to her. They play video games and eat snacks and just talk about life.

“COCK. Bella we lost track of time! SHIT.” Taylor screamed.

“OMG I’m so sorry!” Bella said.

“No no no it isnt your fault! I was having a blast with you! But look, i gotta run. This isnt over yet though, i will not let you beat me in this game!” Taylor says, “Meet me back here at 10pm, okay?” He slides Bella the room key.

He turns to leave but before he does, he kisses Bella on the cheek, “If you can beat me in the game, you can have more” He says with a smirk before running off with Nash.

Bella, still in shock, walks back to the event.

“YOU ALMOST MISSED HIM BELLA HE SHOWED UP! Tay made a surprise visit! You would have missed him if he wasnt late!” Said Kait.

“Wonder why he was late” Bella said with a smirk.

Tay’s eyes met with Bella’s and she knew she had to beat him in that video game. She needed more.

Should I do a part 2?! Bc I’m kinda feeling part 2(;
