Warning: Long post!

There are several ways to look at how you can parent your child in astrology. This post will mainly focus on influences in the Houses, rather than the planets, even though the rest of your chart is very important to look at.

You may have interceptions in your Houses, to where these descriptions will not apply. If that is the case, then the descriptions below will be altered in a sense that there is an imbalance in a certain sign, and with the imbalance, there can be trouble or talent. Asking an astrologer to analyze those Houses will give you a better idea.

If you look at the signs ruling over each house, you will find that the sign at the 4th House will be opposing the sign at the 10th House, and will also neighbor the sign at 5th House. The sign at the 5th House will be inconjunct to the sign at 10th House, which will combine common elements between the two signs either harmoniously or disharmoniously, depending how you choose to channel that energy. The conflicting energies from the 5th and 10th House can also show the choices and factors that can play whether you want to have children or not at all. It is however, entirely possible to work with both energies.

Having dissociative amnesia is so weird because it’s not like normal forgetting where you’re kind of like “I think this happened but I don’t know the details”, it’s looking back at a period of your life and seeing absolutely nothing. There is nothing TO remember, it’s just like a big black pit where your childhood should be.

hi can i request for bestfriend!seungcheol slowly realizing he has feelings for you AAAAAH (thinking of it makes my heart flutter) i love ur writings and thank uu in advance!!:]

  • you and seungcheol have known each other since you were literally kids,,,and therefore it’s no big surprise that you guys keep being friends even up into college
  • where you’ve just seen your best friend turn his childhood mischievousness into what he calls charm,,,,,or ‘grease’ even though every time you make a fake gagging noise at one of his pickup lines seungcheol just tells you you know nothing about the complex world of ‘flirting’
  • and random people in your classes keep asking you if seungcheol is single,,,,,because wow he’s got muscles,,,,anD a cute face,,,,,
  • and you’re like sure he does,,,,but did you know he snores like crazy????? in middle school he came over to play videogames, fell asleep on my couch and it sounded like a freight train was coming through my living room
  • but people are like interested in him for his looks
  • which you do,,,,agree have gotten much better,,,,,like seungcheol went from being a lil chubby in the cheeks to have a killer jawline
  • and walking around in bomber jackets,,,hair slicked back from his face,,,,sunglasses hanging off his nose,,,,,,and,,,,,that secret tattoo he got and made you swear that you wouldn’t tell his mom
  • but like,,,,,you see the chic seungcheol but it’s nothing compared to the memories you have of him as a twelve year old standing next to you with dirty knees and a big dopey smile on his face because you guys managed to climb the neighbor’s fence and get back your frisbee without getting caught
  • but long story short he’s the hot campus flirt and you’re his bestfriend so everyone either assumes you’re dating or wants you to get them his number
  • and it’s annoying but it becomes even worse when you and seungcheol get the same part-time job at the mall
  • and you guy’s work at this clothing store and ,,,,,everyday it’s the same groups of people from your college coming in to giggle and flirt with seungcheol
  • and seungcheol is so easily entertained by it,,,,,,so you get stuck folding shirts while he sits at the counter batting his eyelashes
  • but you don’t complain because he does work too,, he lifts any of the heavy stuff and always helps you move around the mannequins but he also teases you if you happen to get tired
  • so when people aren’t around it’s like you’re kids all over again,,,,,but then a flock will come and take him away and you will never admit it,,,,,,,,,,,
  • but you’re kinda jealous,,,,like that’s your best friend and you guys barely hang out because class eats up your time so getting the same job kinda made you excited,,,but now,,,,
  • you don’t show it though and you don’t tell seungcheol. hell no you could never,,,,,,,,
  • but one day as you’re closing up you mention that the tuition is getting worse and you’re three hundred bucks in debt for textbooks and you forget you even tell seungcheol
  • but the next weekend when you’re in the mall, not for your shift but to see another friend, you can’t believe it but,,,,,,,,there’s seungcheol???? working extra shifts????
  • and you don’t know why and you’d ask,,,,but somehow you feel like you shouldn’t,,,,,he might have his reasons,,,,so you duck when he turns to look over his shoulder
  • and a couple of weeks go by and you know seungcheol keeps taking extra hours,,,,,and you’re like,,,,,,,,is his family having money problems?? why won’t he talk to me ??? does he not see me as his best friend anymore,,
  • and it hurts you won’t lie,,,because no matter how open and friendly seungcheol is with people - you always knew that he told you everything. and only you,,,,,,,but that seems to have changed
  • until,,,,,,you get an email before your shift about how your debts been paid off and you’re like ?????what?????but i??????didn’t????? do that????
  • but the fact makes you smile because thaNK GOD three hundred bucks is like ,,,,,,four weeks of work
  • and seungcheol walks by and is like “you look all happy, is it because i look amazing today?” and you roll your eyes and you’re like no!!! some kind soul paid off my debt!!!
  • and seungcheol ruffles your hair and is like you’re lucky! someone must really like you!! and you’re like yEAH omg i wonder who it wa-
  • and you stop mid sentence and look up at seungcheol and he’s like ?
  • and you’re like,,,four weeks of work is 300 bucks,,,,,,seungcheol was taking extra shifts for about three to four weeks,,,,,,he never mentioned having his own money problems,,,,,and he knew about your debt
  • and it all clicks in your head and you’re like,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, “it,,,,,was you wasn’t it?” and you say it quietly but you know seungcheol can hear it
  • and you see him shrug, smile at you and he’s like “i said it you know,,,the person who paid for you must really like you,,,”
  • and you catch your breath because wait,,,,,,,,like,,,,,,,you,,,,,,seungcheol,,,,,,,likes you????
  • and you’re like “do you mean-” and seungcheol drops his eyes for the first time,,,,getting a flustered look that is so so so rare
  • and he’s like “i don’t want you to think im trying to lure you or anything, and if you don’t feel the same way we’ll just say i did it for you as your best frien-”
  • but you’re like pulling him down by his employee id and seungcheol is like!!!!!! and you’re pressing your lips softly to his beCause you know WHAT
  • you like him too!!!!! and that jealousy you felt might have been attributed to the fact that,,,,you’ve always wanted to be special to seungcheol,,,,but in more of a way than a friend,,,
  • and seungcheol is shocked, but his hand is almost reflexively moving to tug you closer
  • but you both have to tear away when your manager clears their throat so loud everyone in the store turns to look
  • but,,,,,,,you and seungcheol spend your shifts with giddy smiles and fast beating hearts and im not trying to hint at anything here kids but when the manager goes and it’s time to lock up,,,,,
  • well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,let’s just say you and seungcheol do a bit more than kiss in the employee room
  • and literally seungcheol against your neck is like: “ive liked you since we were kids,,,and now,,,,,,it’s like that childhood dream of mine is really coming true,,,”
  • and usually you playfully hit him when he says something corny,,,but that just makes you melt even more in his arms hehe

Somewhat exciting announcement coming later

F/S: Favorite Scent

You and your long-term boyfriend Newt were walking down the streets of New York hand-in-hand enjoying the wonderful scenery.  You were talking about your years together at Hogwarts.

“Do you remember that time a wild owl flew into the Great Hall during dinner and it started wreaking havoc, but then you stood on the Hufflepuff table and managed to catch it with your hand?” you asked Newt, smiling at the thought.

He laughed.  “Of course I do, I used a transfiguration spell and temporarily turned it into a goblet so I could catch it.”

“What about the time when I found out you had a crush on me?”  He turned a deep shade of red, making you giggle.  “Ohhh come on, you remember in potions in sixth year when we were brewing Amortentia and yours smelled like me?”

He was still blushing.  “Of course I do… the professor asked me what mine smelled like.  F/S, F/S, and F/s.  I knew it smelled like you, but of course I didn’t say that.  But your friend William did.  He said it to the whole class… w-which is when they started chanting at me to ask you out on a date… but instead–”

“I walked right up to you and kissed you.”

“That you did.  They all erupted in cheers, even the professor!”

You laughed, resting your head on Newt’s shoulder.  “Ah, you were so adorable and shy around me back then.”

He grinned.  “I never thought you would love me.”

“Newt!  Don’t say that. You were the kindest boy I had ever met in my entire life.  I remember how you would leave a rose and a love note on my bed sometimes.  Wait… how did you manage to get into the girls’ dormitory?”

He shrugged.  “Apparently the stairs find me trustworthy.”

You were about to say something else, but you started to zone out and accidentally bumped into a man walking the opposite direction.

“Oh!  I’m so sorry, sir,” you said, stopping in your tracks.

“It’s fine miss… Y/N?” the man said, studying you.

“William?”

“Y/N, it is you!” he exclaimed, hugging you for a second.  “Who’s this?” he asked, gesturing to Newt.

You grabbed Newt’s arm.  “This is Newt.  Newt Scamander, don’t you remember him?”

“Ah, Newton.  Yes I remember him.  The boy who would always swoon over you at school?”
Newt blushed.  “Really, William?” you said.

William laughed.  “Sorry.  It’s good to see you both again.  Are you… are you two still a couple?”

“Yes, you and Newt answered in unison.

William frowned.  “Huh.  I honestly thought you would have moved on by now, Y/N.”

You knit your eyebrows.  “I’m sorry, what?”

“Don’t speak to Y/N that way,” Newt said defensively.

William laughed again.  “Sorry, I probably shouldn’t have said that.  You’re a lucky man, Newt.  To have someone such as Y/N by your side.”

“I am,” Newt replied, wrapping an arm around your waist.

“Well, William, we ought to be going now.  It was… uh, nice to see you.”

“Goodbye, dear.  May our paths cross again,” William said flirtatiously.

“Don’t call me dear, you said annoyed, and began walking away from William with Newt right beside you.

“William always could be an idiot sometimes,” you said to Newt, but he didn’t reply.

“What’s wrong, love?”

Newt spoke up a few seconds later.  “Were you and William ever a uh… co–”
You cut him off.  “A couple?  Good heavens no!” you exclaimed as if it were the most outrageous thing you had ever heard.  “Why would you ever think that?”
“It’s just… he acted like he was in love you and that I didn’t deserve you…,” he trailed off.

“Newt, don’t listen to a word that slimy git says.  Me and William were ‘friends’ only

because our parents knew each other.  He’s just jealous that you and I have a successful and healthy relationship.  Don’t worry, darling.  Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think of dating William.”

He kissed your head and pulled you closer to him as you continued walking.  “Good.  Because if that bastard tried to win you from me, I would have drenched him in Erumpent musk and set her after him.”

“Aw, you’re too sweet,” you joked.

He smiled.  “No man will ever steal you from me without a fight.  You’re mine.”

“And I’m yours,” you said, and kissed him sweetly.

Please let me know what you thought of it and what I could do better next time!

100% Despair

In the end, Mob can’t protect other people from himself. In the end it all comes to a head, and when he wakes up people have died.

It doesn’t matter who they were or what they were trying to do. It doesn’t matter that his life, and the lives of those most important to him were at stake.

All that matters is that he failed.

So, in his despair, he builds a cage and willingly walks into it.  His vessel sleeps, and he knows that the others may mourn him for a while, in the end it’s better this way.

The others, however, aren’t going to let that stand.

Even if they have to go in after him.

Forgetting thing is always annoying. Whether it’s where you put your keys, plans with friends, if you’d taken your dog out - simple things like that. Trying to search your brain to see if you can figure out if you can remember is never anyone’s favourite thing to do but imagine if you couldn’t remember anything at all.

Nothing.

Never mind where the keys were. Imagine what it must be like to not remember anybody, memories and everything you used to know. Imagine having everything you ever knew ripped away from you.

baybieal  asked:

For me, nothing is ever Good. It's just ok. I live a mediocre life, and nothing ever changes.

That which is fantastic, wondrous, and ecstatic does not come from the contents of your life. It comes from your conscious experience.

Shift your consciousness and see how your experience changes.

Our consciousness often becomes trapped in a variety of ways. To name a few of them:

  • Identity
    • What role do you play?
    • What is your school, your major, your job, your specialty, etc?
    • Are you a brother, sister, mother, father, lover, etc?
    • Getting locked into an identity and role means you limit your experience of yourself and the world to the shape of that role.
  • Personality
    • What are your likes and dislikes?
    • Passions? Fears?
    • Personal philosophy?
    • Giving too much weight to these things again forces us to experience the same cycles endlessly.
  • Personal History
    • What was your childhood like?
    • Where did you grow up?
    • From school to college to career, or whatever path you’ve taken until now, what is its form?
    • When we tell and retell our personal history, it becomes a prison.
  • Psychological Time
    • Psychological time is what seals a lot of this together.
    • Our remembrance and dwelling on the past.
    • Our expectation, fear, or desire of the future.
    • Our mental projection of time reduces the mysterious and endless potential of the present to a tiny sliver.
  • Self-Importance
    • Thinking yourself more important than some people also means you think you are less important than other people.
    • Thinking humans more important than a tree or a worm is also deadening and isolating to your soul.
    • Self-importance prevents you from connecting with genuine awe.

Untangle yourself from these things and you will begin to find a new energy and vigor within you. There will arise an agency within you that will guide you in the form of inspiration. Daily meditation will help.

A book you might enjoy is Journey to Ixtlan by Carlos Castaneda.

hi um sorry but my friend and i got into a fight and which are better, curly fries or regular fries?

It depends on the meal, tbh.

Sometimes you want those gorgeous curvaceous potatoes which curl upon your plate and cascade in movement like a shimmering trick of the light, a dancer’s form in the concrete, abolishing Neo-Platonism and existing in pure mental perfection.

And sometimes you want the sound of giggles and sneakers pattering on the road, fries as straight as the height chart in your house, familiar and comforting with the scent of yellow salt, the crunch between your teeth and ridges like the smile of golden childhood where memories live forever.

Love your potatoes like you love your women: with all your heart.

An imagine where your childhood best friend/also secretly love of your life Jason tells you his secret about him being a power ranger plus a time where you don't see him much anymore

This was so fun to write! I hope you enjoy! <3

You frowned, throwing yourself onto your bed with a sigh.

Looking over at your clock, you locked your eyes on the frame, the picture inside showcasing you and Jason: around 5 years old with wide toothless grins.

You were both halfway up a rather large tree with curling branches low to the ground and you smiled at the memory.

“Ready or not!” A young Jason spun around, scanning the campsite in front of him.

Giggling, you placed a hand over your mouth trying to quiet yourself. He would never find you up here.

“I’m gonna find you (Y/N)!” He called and you ducked farther up into the leaves of the tree you had scaled.

After he had wandered around for quite a while, he finally leaned up against the very tree you were in.

“Whatever! I give up!” He huffed angrily, throwing his hands in the air.

You finally let your laughter be heard, and he wrinkled his nose as he glared up into the tree.

“That’s cheating! You can’t climb up there! Besides, you know that I can’t do that.” He whined and you giggled even more.

“Aw Jason, it’s'not cheatin. I got up here all by myself. And why couldn’t you come up?” You dangled your legs as he groaned.

“(Y/N)! I can’t climb trees.” He stated this as if were a well-known fact.

“Are you scared?” You mocked, “Jason’s a great big scaredy-cat!"

"I’m no scaredy-cat! Just cause I don’t wanna fall doesn’t mean I’m a chicken!” He stomped his foot and placed his hand on the nearest branch.

“You aren’t gonna fall,” you insisted, holding out your hand.

“Do you trust me?” Shaking it slightly Jason gulped, reaching up to pull himself into the tree.

“You know I do.”

You placed the frame back down, rolling over onto your back. You had always been best friends, you’re parents were great friends and so were you.

But as you had grown and matured your feelings developed into something more. Maybe you loved him, but you never planned on letting him know that.

However, recently Jason had been pulling away and you had no idea why. He always canceled last minute, or simply made an excuse why he couldn’t do anything.

Today had been planned forever- the new movie both of you had been wanting to see for forever just hit theaters.

Almost predictably, he had called

A few hours ago, apologizing profusely and repeating something had come up. And like always, you had played it off like it was no big deal.

Since you couldn’t go to the movies, you decided to go to the hills above the mines. It was always a great place to go to relax and get your mind off things.

Parking your car, you stuck your keys in the muffler, knowing you’d drop ‘em after climbing around for a perfect spot. Sure, stupid idea around town, but it worked here.

Plugging in your headphones, you wandered around until you reached the spot overlooking all of angel grove. You settled down and pulled out some homework: chemistry, aka the worst class in existence.

Nevertheless, you fiddled with your pencil, wondering when on gods earth you were going to need to know Avogradro’s law.

Your water bottle was next to you, and you turned down to grab it when you noticed something.

The water… was moving, like it does in the movies.

Hesitantly, you reached out to grab it, and felt the ground lurch slightly underneath you.

Only making things worse, a large shadow passed over you, and (lord help you you were that person in the horror movie), you turned around slowly.

Blinking a few times, your brain took a while to process the sight in front of you: the red rangers T-Rex robot was standing right in front of you. Before you blinked you could have sworn that it was Jason.

You shrieked and stumbled to your feet, it couldn’t be Jason. The ranger had somehow covered his face with his mask again, and before you knew it was standing in front of you.

“What are you doing up here?” He demanded and you stepped slightly away from him. “You shouldn’t be here!”

“Look, I appreciate you saving the world and all, but unless there’s imminent danger I think I’m allowed to be here."

He crossed his arms and you gulped. Maybe you should speak more carefully.
"It says no trespassing.” He insisted and The voice clicked.

Testing your theory, you hesitantly reached into your pocket, clicking Jason’s contact.

A loud buzzing came from the ranger, and he immediately stepped backwards, his mask retreating back to reveal Jason’s shocked face.

Besides the situation, you couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

“Dude… you keep your phone on you?"

He flushed and laughed slightly.

"Look, you can’t know! You shouldn’t… oh damn. I’m probably gonna have to tell this to Zordon.”

However, you ignored him and just began to realize the depth of the situation. Jason, your best friend, was the red ranger.

Stepping forward you shoved him backward harshly.

“You’re a ranger and you didn’t tell me? What the hell?!"

He extended his hands in surrender, moving one to rub the back of his neck like he always did when he was nervous.

"How about… you just take a few deep breaths,” he reasoned.

“I’m perfectly calm… oh my god. When your dad said the Red ranger saved him… that was you! Oh my god Jason you could have died! You could have died and you wouldn’t have known-” you abruptly shut your mouth, your cheeks turning a furious red.

“Known what, (Y/N)?” He grabbed your shoulders lightly and you gulped, looking up at him.

“You’re my best friend right? And this totally might screw things up. God this could ruin everything…. but I think I care for you more than a friend?"

He furrowed his brows, until it finally clicked.

”(Y/N)… I feel the same way, I really do. But I can’t. I can’t risk you getting hurt because of me. You could be leverage if anyone found out- or they could-“

"Jason, you feel the same?” Your breath hitched and he nodded, tipping his forehead against yours.

“Of course."

"Then just… do you trust me?” you reached up and placed your hand on his cheek, the stubble he had yet to shave slightly prickling your hand.

He took a deep breath and pulled you even closer to him.

“You know I do.”

That was all you needed to hear, for the next moment you had surged forward, your lips meeting his and suddenly everything fell into perfect place.

7 years - BadBoy! Jeon Jungkook x Reader - Part 3

In all honesty this series was only going to have two parts but cause you guys are so damn cute I extended it.

Part 1  Part 2  Part 3 - Here  Part 4  Part 5

When you had gotten home, eyes puffy from crying tears of happiness, you immediately video called Areum. When she had answered, she briefly panicked at the sight of your tear stained face and you reassured her that everything was alright. You spent an hour explaining the whole ordeal to her and then another explaining your relationship with Jungkook.

“Wait… so I, your best friend, did not know You and Jungkook are practically soulmates?” You choked on your bottle of water whilst having a mini coughing fit. When you had recovered, you snapped your head up and glared directly at the screen of your laptop.

“Soulmates where? We’re just childhood friends.” Areum tutted and shook her head. She the went on to give you a sly smile as if she knew something you didn’t.

“Oh come on Y/N. We all know which way this relationship is going. You have seen ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo’ right? The childhood friends always end up together.” You aggressively shook your head whilst you blushed heavily at the thought of dating Jungkook. It’s not that you despised the idea, it’s just it had never crossed your mind. Not with all the drama you’ve had to put up with for the past 2 years.

“Areum, your mouth is moving but all I hear is bullshit right now.” It was her turn to glare at you and she twirled her hair around her fingers innocently. “Okay fine, when you start dating you have to buy me… Ah! You have to buy me Shinee’s new album. Deal?” You couldn’t believe the nerve of Areum, making bets on your love life.

“Deal!” That didn’t stop you from agreeing because let’s be honest here, there was no way you were going to date Jungkook. You’d probably be killed by Hye Mi if you so much as hugged him within her sights. Actually, pissing off Hye Mi was a very tempting idea.

Scratch that. You could care less about her.

After bidding Areum a good night, you logged off and lay in bed. You were excited to go back to school but this time as Jungkook’s untouchable childhood friend.

This school year was beginning to look like a good one.

-

When you entered the classroom the next day, Jungkook was already sitting down in his seat, staring out the window. His ears perked up at the sound of your chair against the floor and he smiled when he realised you had arrived.

“Morning Y/N.” The slight rasp of his voice was enough to tell you he wasn’t used to arriving at school this early. He stood up and made himself comfortable on the chair in front of you, once again placing his head on your desk.

“Good morning Jungkook.” He chuckled and proceeded to pinch your cheek. Slapping his hand away, you flicked him on his forehead. “What? So you’re not gonna call me Kookie anymore?”

“Not in school.”  He pouted at you in a playful manner and nudged your shoulder.

“Why not? I thought we were friends.” You couldn’t stop the smile that spread on your face from his whining tone. Just as you were going to reply, Hye Mi stepped into the classroom, eyes taking in the close proximity between you and Jungkook. To your surprise, she just scoffed and made her way to her seat, sitting down and pulling out her compact mirror.

Jungkook completely disregarded her presence and continued to pester you, ruffling your hair. “Come on, you’re literally my oldest friend. You’re the only exception when it comes to calling me Kookie.” Out of the corner of your eye you noticed Hye Mi’s shoulders tense at what Jungkook had just said.

Whatever. It’s not your problem.

“Fine. Okay Kookie, just stop messing up my hair.” He grinned at you and began patting down your hair, making sure you looked presentable. You made small talk with Jungkook whilst your classmates began arriving, some giving you confused looks whilst others envy. The questioning stares proved to be too much as you groaned and hid you face in your arms. Jungkook simply laughed and left you to wallow in your self pity.

-

Lunch had once again arrived and you found that your table was still occupied by Hye Mi and her friends. You were debating whether you should confront her when you heard Jungkook call out to you. When he realised he had gained your attention, he began to gesture to the free seats on his table. Sighing in relief, you grabbed Areum’s hand and dragged her to the table.

Jungkook greeted you with a big smile and his friends followed suit. You returned their smiles and sat down, Areum cautiously sitting down beside you.

“Y/N! You decided to join us!” Taehyung literally screamed in your ear and you flinched. Yoongi whined at the loud noise and hit him on the head. “Shut up you idiot. Can’t get some damn sleep.” He went back to laying his head on the table and Taehyung stuck his tongue out at him. Areum was sat next to you, notice my tense and you realised it was because she was literally sitting on a table with a bunch of strangers, save for you.

“Guys, this is my friend Areum. Areum meet Jungkook and his friends.” Jungkook beamed at her and pointed at Taehyung. “I’m pretty sure you know this is Kim Taehyung by now. Min Yoongi is the one who is sleeping and Kim Seokjin is someone you will always find either eating or looking a pictures of himself.” To emphasise his pint he nodded his head in the direction of Jin, who was currently stuffing his face with rice.

“These three go by the names of Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok and Park Jimin. Although Namjoon hyung has a high IQ, we all tend to lose a couple of brain cells because of him. Hoseok and Jimin are always having dance competitions so that’s another thing to be aware of.” Areum giggled at his words and you sighed in relief, happy that she seemed to be comfortable.

“Guys, come to Jungkook’s party on Saturday!” Taehyung piped up from beside you, throwing an arm around your shoulder. You made eye contact with Jungkook, silently asking if it was okay and you saw him avert his eyes.

“Uh, yeah come if you want.” You didn’t particularly go to parties often but since it was Jungkook’s you were sure everything would be fine. Smiling, you turned back to Taehyung.

“Sure, we’ll come.” Taehyung cheered and Areum snickered at his antics.

You’d be as happy as they were if you hadn’t sensed Jungkook hesitate before. Why he seemed reluctant was beyond you.

-

The days slowly passed by and you along with Areum became closer with the boys, your old friendship with Jungkook coming back to light. Hye Mi became more jealous but seemed to notice Jungkook’s willingness to protect you so the weekly bullying came to a stop. She still found opportunities to slip in snide remarks but, as usual, you didn’t let it bother you.

When Friday arrived you began to feel suspicious over what could take place at this party. Jungkook had constantly asked you if ‘you were sure you wanted to come’ and that 'you didn’t have to come if you didn’t want to’. It was off putting but your desire to know why he was behaving in this way was stronger than the warning bells in your head.

He had given up by now and despite the guilty looks he occasionally sent you, you began to feel excited. You had obviously gone to parties before but none of the, were hosted by the most popular boy in school and you were eager to see what it had in store for you.

Lying in bed, you watched the screen of your laptop with intense concentration at the dilemma you were presented with.

“Okay Y/N. This skirt and top or this above the knees dress? I need you to concentrate on this.” Areum slowed down each sentence as if she was talking to a child and your eyebrows creased.

“The skirt and top combo, that dress is too formal.” Areum gave a firm nod, giving a dimpled smile. Dropping the clothes on her bed, she drew closer to the camera.

“But what about you? What are you wearing tomorrow?” Shrugging your shoulders, you rolled onto your back. “Whatever I pick out in the heat of the moment I guess. Areum… has Jungkook seemed a bit, I don’t know, off?” She placed a finger to her chin, clearly reflecting on the past few days. Eventually nodding, Areum eyes widened in realisation.

“Now that you mention it, he did ask me to try and get you to focus on your studies instead of coming to the party. It’s really weird…” The questioning look she gave you made you tilt your head in confusion.

“Don’t look at me like that! I have no idea why he’s acting like that too. To be honest, I think he doesn’t want me to come.” Areum stayed silent, allowing you to continue with your explanation.

“He seems like he’s hiding something from me… Ah whatever! I don’t care.” You received a look of uncertainty which had you nodding your head vigorously.

“Yes, I’m sure Areum!”

“But I didn’t say any-”

“Yeah, see you tomorrow. Good night!”

Closing the video call, you slammed your laptop screen down and huffed.

“Gosh I don’t want to think about that!” Deciding that it would be better to sleep instead of dwell on the situation, you crawled underneath your covers and shut your eyes tight.

Maybe if you ignored your thoughts enough, the uncertainty would disappear.

The Law Of Attraction for Manifesting And Self-Confidence:

Q: Hi! I’ve found your blog not long ago and I am really loving it! I was wondering if you could give me your opinion/advice on how to manifest material things, but also I feel like I’m not too confident about myself and this is reflecting my outcome, but Idk how to change it. Thank you very much :)

A: I am actually SO excited to answer a question on confidence. I have alot of help to give you, as it’s a very personal topic for me too. Attracting material things is covered at my best in the following post. Digest it and re-visit the page often. Each step will easily attract to you material things. Start with a medium sized goal, and you should have a result within 30 days. (Let me know what manifestations happen as a result of that, as they sure will happen!)

And now, for the key to success, the key to how happy your life will be and the key to how many opportunities come your way: Self-Confidence. Your confidence comes from your concept of yourself. Your concept of yourself was programmed from since before your birth and includes your parents, how much they earned, where they lived, and every thought you were exposed to in your childhood. It is hard to find a single person who has had a perfect image of themselves, therefore. Your concept of yourself is basically opinions that people share and over time they become accepted. An example is the girl that believes she is shy, and her family and friends also “agree”, would never ask out her teenage crush. There is no physical barrier to her doing this; she could walk up to him and she can say the words. But her concept of herself is the psychological reason her legs and mouth wouldn’t coordinate with her.

You’re right that confidence will affect your outcome. It will affect the level of money you earn, where you live, who you befriend, etc. Here are some exercises that will cause your awareness to grow;

1. Headline a sheet of paper “The Truth About Me!” and write under it as close to this: The energy that made worlds, made me also. I am confident, I believe in myself, I enjoy being me. I know I am worthy of all that I desire. I am powerful and have a magnetic personality.” Read this statement every day.

2. In the mirror, look into each eye separately and say to yourself “I am confident. I love me.” It will feel funny but its the surest fastest way to communicate with your Soul.

3. If you were more confident, how would you act? Talk? Dress? Set 30 minutes aside each day and visualize in your imagination all these things. See your friends saying “you’re so much more confident now!”, and “Wow I can’t believe you did that! Where is this confidence coming from? You gotta spill!” etc, etc. The more intensely you do this, the more you’ll notice you start to take action towards that now.

4. Read Psycho-Cybernetics by Dr Maxwell Maltz. I believe there are copies available on Amazon and PDFs on the internet too. Ignore the title, it is basically a plastic surgeon turned psychologist who wrote about self-confidence. The book is written in a simple style and you’ll really, really love reading it. Trust me. It will help you along your way.

5. Play a confidence or self-love guided affirmation tape daily. Ideally in bed at night. I found one for you that has binaural beats which means it will stimulate your brain to learn confidence faster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCJkTXS4LoA

A/N: thank you love, glad you do <3 || it’s long ;3

Warning: None

Steve slid on his pizza shirt and tried to fix the wrinkles that were bugging him. You giggle as you watch him struggle with straightning out the wrinkles.

‘’This shirt hates me.’’ steve growls.

A few more tugs and he gave up, he mumbles an angry comment underneath his breath and removed his shirt. He went back into the closet and started to scan around for another shirt.

‘’So, are you excited to meet the team?’’ steve shouts from the closet.

‘’I don’t know.. What if they don’t like me?’’ you ask, biting your lip.

‘’You’re right they’re not going to like you,’’ steve sighs.

‘’They’re going to love you.’’ steve finishes, poking his head out of the closet and smiling at you.

The word ‘love’ didn’t really fit with the feelings that Bucky had for you. You haven’t met the team, but you’ve met Bucky for sure. And Bucky wasn’t a stranger nor an acquaintance. He was your childhood bully.

Well, sure. There weren’t many problems with having Jungkook as a best friend. He could offer jewel-encrusted smiles on good days, and his jokes gave all the joy of a carnival without the price - tickets only cost a laugh. But, there was one massive problem with having Jungkook as a best friend, that being – Jungkook wasn’t your boyfriend. You used to be fine with that. After all, he had assured you that you were special, better than any girlfriend he’d ever have. Keeping you by his side at all times, he clung on, promising you nice things if you stayed with him a little longer. When he was nine, he made it official by spitting into his palm, and offering you a soggy handshake. That meant you were bound for life. “No take backs.”

You know the feeling, you’re staring at your draft, stuck on a scene, not knowing how to move forward, or even if there is a way. This section of your outline says “stuff?? things/!?!” in lieu of actual plotty bits, and you’re just like, “Thanks, past me.” Your characters linger on the page, unsure of where to go to next but your brain is fried and you’re just… stuck.

Here are five writing exercises to help get those creative juices flowing again.

  1. Take a scene you’ve already written and write it from a different character’s perspective. What does the antagonist think about this? Are they even there? What if they had some sort of crystal ball to see what was going on, what would they think and how would they react? (Even if crystal balls don’t exist or work in your story, imagine that they do, for this one particular scene– for reasons.) Did you write a love confession from one protagonist to another? What does the other person think about this? What’s their thought process?
  2. Take your main characters and strand them on a desert island. Just… imagine it. How do they get along? What would they bring with them, if they were allowed three items? Who would they want with them? What do they dream of or hope for when they return to their world?
If your characters start off in a desert island situation/ post apocalypse / dystopia / etc, strand them in a modern coffeeshop, and then you have the fun of seeing them figure out the ins and outs of customer service and how to make the perfect latte.
  3. Write a to-do list– not for you, but for your protagonist. Pick one day in your novel, what would they put on this list? What do they need to do? To remember? To ignore? What do they not put on this list? Do they have goals for the next year? The next five years?
  4. Write a scene from before the beginning or after the end. If you’re stuck where you are, skip somewhere else and try your hand at writing a scene before the story begins, maybe a moment from your character’s childhood or a scene post-resolution where you can imagine what your protagonists’ lives are like. Trying to figure out how your characters have dealt with the events of your story and the effects afterward is a good way to figure out how you want to get from where you are now to those scenes in the future.
  5. Take your favorite song of the moment, or your karaoke favorite (you have one, you know you do… that song you can’t help but belt along to in the shower, the car…) and now imagine your main character singing this song. Direct a music video in your head with them as the star. Is this ridiculous? Very much so. But it also opens the door to all the raw emotion that comes with music– which song would be your character’s kareoke choice, if they had one? Or what song describes their personality best? And aside from the fun questions about your characters you get to answer through music, it’s a great mental image to have, especially when you need to see your character doing something silly or to conjure up when you’re down about your story.

Even if you think you’re not working “actively” on your story, continuing to write when you’re stuck, even going in another direction or writing backstory for characters, will add to your confidence in moving forward in the narrative. Take a break, write something silly or fun, and get back to your story whenever you’re ready.

You can do it! ヾ(。◕ฺ∀◕ฺ)ノ

Castle on the Hill : Ashton One Shot

Inspired by Ed’s new song xx

(Will edit this tomorrow, just needed to get it up)

Spring season in your hometown, where the fresh air smells like the ingredients of your childhood and the reborn grass doesn’t get much greener. You’ve missed the old place, having spent too long in your new life to revisit as often as you once swore you would. Seeing the sights again, you wish you would’ve prioritized your annual returns, noticing now how much has changed in the short three years you’ve been gone.

Your parents had let you know that they’d be moving from the house in which you grew up to one half of a more modern duplex, but the fact that you’d never get the chance to stay in your old bedroom again didn’t quite register until you drove past the street you all used to live on. While that stung your nostalgic heart, it hurt a little more to find that some of the quaint, rustic buildings that filled the inner city with close-community charm had been demolished to create a blank canvas for chain restaurants and other corporate projects. The small town that raised you is steadily losing what makes it so small, growing like you have while you’ve been away.

Brummie - Finn Shelby

Finn was down early in the morning, before his brothers were even around. He was dressed and ready to leave, eating the breakfast Polly had cooked as quickly as possible. The door to the betting shop opened, Tommy walked in with Arthur and John. He eyed Finn at the kitchen table but didn’t say anything to him.

“What’s with him?” Tommy asked when he’d gone into the back room with Polly.

“He’s eager to get to Bordesley. Think he likes the Fowles’ girl.” Polly whispered so she didn’t catch his attention.

“We’re going up for business. I’m not taking him along if he’s going to be distracted.” Tommy looked back into the kitchen where Arthur and John were sat at the table with Finn.

You hadn’t seen the sun in years.

The skies had been painted gray for a long time now, clouded with smoke from explosions, from fires, from vehicles monitoring the people’s every move. You pulled your hood to cover your face and looked down, trying to blend in with the rest of the people going to work to feed their families and themselves, despite the bleak state of things surrounding them.

As you usually did, you took a detour to avoid any guards stopping you on their random citizen scans. You smiled as you looked longingly at the abandoned playground where you had spent your happy childhood. Had you known then that those days were going to be so easily taken from you, you would’ve cherished them more in the moment. But you were young, would you have played differently even if you knew then what you knew now?

Your smile faded as the flashback of memories seeped into your mind. Back to when it all began, back to when your dreams of your future were ripped away right in front of your very eyes.

It had been a disappointing overturn of leadership, but what change doesn’t bring about some sort of dissatisfaction from the masses?

People went about their lives, believing that things would continue as they were with minor changes here and there.

But our assumptions and neglect only left us vulnerable.

Soon, people who were once our friendly neighbors stormed into each other’s apartments, ratting out those that the new leadership deemed “didn’t belong out in the public”. They were ridiculous standards too. Mostly resounding excuses stating that, “they weren’t like everyone else”. Yet when you looked around, nobody was like everyone else. At the time, you didn’t understand. Now, you realized you weren’t supposed to understand because this…this was hatred of an illogical level. This was selfish and unreasonable leadership.

A leader for himself, not a leader for the people.

You thought you were untouchable at the time. That everyone you heard in the news or read about in the papers was just “someone else”; that it wouldn’t affect you and your family or anyone that was close to you. You lived in a bubble, believing that the reality of things wouldn’t knock on your doorstep.

You had a best friend when you were little, Jeon Jungkook. And like all childhood friendships, you spent every moment of the day together. You were neighbors so you were essentially inseparable. You played at the very sandbox that now was partially singed and partially compose of rocks and decomposed plants and animals. You squealed and screamed on the slides and swings to your hearts’ content. You played pretend. You dreamed up your futures; you pretended to be part of different realities.

Even when you were a bit older, you stuck together. After the change of leadership, Jungkook kept you close. In school, he never left your side and he never let you walk home alone. You felt safe with him around, but at the time, you thought he was overreacting.

But then one day, he disappeared.

It happened overnight. Quiet, skilled, covered in darkness.

You didn’t know your world had changed until the morning came.

You were waiting as you usually did for him to come pick you up at home, but he never came. Easily, you walked next door and punched the code in, only to fill the complex with your bloodcurdling scream. Neighbors rushed over, alert, and gasped alongside you as you found Jungkook’s father sprawled on the floor swimming inside a pool of his own blood. The adults pulled you back, trying to cover your eyes, but they had finally been opened, in the worst way possible.

"Jungkook…where’s Jungkook?“ you mumbled, your mind on the verge of insanity but too many hands were holding you from lunging into the gory scene. "WHERE’S JUNGKOOK??!”

You stopped going to school after that day. In fact, you stayed inside your room the days following. The only body discovered in the apartment was Jungkook’s father. He, his older brother, and mother were nowhere to be found. Everyone knew the police was working with the Oppressors, so when they claimed that the family had killed the father and run away with guilt, nobody questioned their judgment. Nobody spoke out. Everyone knew who the real culprit was. Everyone knew that they were now part of the victims being taken into custody because the new leader believed they should be locked out of society and not given rights. It was a small abandoned place, you had heard through gossip, where they treated upright citizens like criminals, giving them portioned meals and forcing them to tight schedules and constant watch.

"Y/N. I need you to stay very quiet and follow me.“ Your mother woke you up in the middle of the night a few weeks after Jungkook’s disappearance.

You nodded obediently, your heart racing. The hairs on your skin were on edge and something felt different about the atmosphere. Your mother tightly held your hand as she led you inside your closet and pulled open a hidden compartment in the wall. Your eyes widened in awe.

"Honey.” she whispered, tears filling up in her eyes, and you immediately understood the situation.

           Your family was next.

You shook your head violently as she urged you into the compartment, fit for one.

"We knew this day was going to come soon. We prayed it wouldn’t happen, but it did.“ she caressed your face lovingly. "Please be safe, my darling. I believe in your future.”

"Mommy.“ You sobbed and she kissed your forehead for a prolonged time.

"Whatever you hear, whatever happens. Stay in here for 2 days.” she handed you your father’s watch and a folded piece of paper. “And don’t leave until the night covers your tracks. Go to this address. She’ll take care of you.”

"I love you.“ You whispered as you wept, and she smiled sadly.

"I love you so much, honey. Your father loves you too.”

You crawled into the tiny compartment and hugged your knees to stifle your sobs. Your mother stared at you one last time before closing the entrance and enveloping you in darkness. That night, you heard the screams and struggles of your parents, the loud cracks of gun fire, then an eerie silence as footsteps marched all over the place where you had once felt safest. You couldn’t cry out of fear of being found, but your heart was breaking. You felt helpless, frustrated, and numb.

Everyone that you loved was now gone.

You exhaled as you slipped into your small apartment and looked into the mirror. Years later and you were an empty shell of what you used to be. You weren’t a captive but you were bound by fear and anxiety constantly, wondering when the day would come when you too would be discovered and killed. You had escaped successfully and you were given an entirely new identity. You changed your hair color and cut it, shedding your old skin. You were much older now. Your eyes held the despair, frustrations, and helplessness that you kept deep inside you, but your face was pulled into an unemotional facade. It was no longer glimmering with dreams and hope, but was dulled by witnesses of untimely death, irrational oppression, and constant hatred. You lived through hell and you had grown up in chains of the new society and its standards. You experienced and witnessed suffering beyond what children and parents had ever imagined would come to fruition.

At work, in the middle of the streets, in your own apartment complex, people disappeared for reasons you couldn’t understand. People were shot based on “discretion”, they claimed, but it was no secret that it was merely based on the leisure and displays of dominance for those who had the authority.

Each day was routine. Each day was a battle. Each day was a covert mission to keep yourself safe. And each day you prayed for change. Each day you prayed for a better world to come.

But a better world never came.

           "Stop right there, woman.“

You froze, your heart thumping against your chest. Then you suddenly continued on your way down the alley, hoping the guards weren’t talking to you.

"Hey! Stop right there!” You felt a rough tug of your arm and you were slammed to the ground easily.

Two grinning cops were hovering over you, eye-ing your figure.

"Haven’t seen you around here? Are you new?“

"No.” You stood up hurriedly and dusted yourself off, feigning confidence. “I’ve lived here for years.”

"I’d think I’d remember seeing someone as beautiful as you.“ One officer caressed your cheek and you slapped his hand away instinctively.

The officer looked appalled while the other cackled at your clear rejection.

"You can’t do this to me.” You stood your ground firmly.

"Oh yes I can.“ he laughed. "Women are for men’s pleasure. You’re lucky we let you work and prance around thinking you have freedom and some sort of control.”

Soon, the other cop was behind you, holding onto your waist.

"If you let us have a little fun, we’ll let you go.“ He whispered into your ear, and you shoved him away, disgustedly.

"I’ve done nothing wrong to be captured!” You argued.

"Well, we can make that true or false based on your decision.“

The officer in front of you closed the distance and you felt yourself backed into a wall. Glancing around hurriedly, you tried to find a way to escape but one direction was back to your complex and essentially a dead end while the only way out was blocked by the second officer.

You placed your hands on the officer’s chest to keep him from coming closer and you turned your head to avoid his lips trying to touch yours.

"Get off me!” you yelled, hoping that someone would hear you.

But who were you kidding? No one would dare stand up to the officers and put themselves in danger like that. Everyone put their families and their safety first. And who could blame them? You were guilty of being a silent witness to the Oppressors too.

"The more you resist, the more I want to take you.“ He hummed as he grabbed your hands and freely pressed his body into you.

           "Take this then.”

You wriggled and kneed his crotch as hard as you could. Immediately, he was writhing on the ground, and the other officer was quick to whip out his gun, aiming at you angrily. You gasped and closed your eyes, wishing that your death would be a quick and painless one.

           But the shot never came.

You heard a loud thud and you opened your eyes to find the officer sprawled lifelessly on the ground with gun still in hand. Terrified, you glanced around. You felt a hand on your leg and the other officer was glaring at you, still in pain from your attack.

"And I’ll also be taking you out.“

A voice was heard just before the officer’s body flew across your path. You turned to find a tall, lean man wearing a ski mask beside you. He had kicked the officer with ease and he pointed a gun with a silencer to make a clean shot. You stared at him in awe. You weren’t sure whether to be frightened and run away or stay and thank him. Your body felt that the former was more logical so while the scary robber-looking man was checking to see if the officers were really dead, you tried to slip out of the alleyway. However, you were pulled back by your wrist and pressed against the wall with a hand over your mouth, right before a hoard of officers passed by nonchalantly.

"That’s three times I saved you in roughly two minutes, Miss.” the masked man chimed and you shoved his hand off your mouth.

"Well, thank you Mr. Robber Mask Man. I appreciate you saving my life but please get off me.“ You stated defiantly but you were soon silenced by his eyes gazing down at you. At first it looked at you intently then knowingly and finally, it brightened up.

You furrowed your brows and his lips curled up happily. Slowly, he pulled off his ski mask and you felt your knees buckle as he revealed his face.

There, standing in front of you, in all his muscular, grown-up glory, was your childhood best friend, Jeon Jungkook. With his signature goofy half-grin, half-smirk, he spoke,

           "I finally found you.”

You were in too much shock to really process anything he said after that, but you let him drag you away from the bloody scene. All you could do was stare at his back as he did so, wondering if you had in fact died, and this was your reunion with him in the afterlife.

"I th-thought…I thought you were…“ you stammered, not able to coherently put all the thoughts circulating in your mind into a sentence.

"Dead?” he chuckled. “No, I’m quite alive.”

You smiled. At least his teasing didn’t change one bit.

"Where are we going?“ you questioned.

           "Home.” he grinned.

           "What? Where’s that?“

"Just be quiet and follow me.” He hummed as he held onto your hand tightly like he used to as kids.

While you reveled in the reality that now you weren’t alone in the world, you let him lead you– although let’s be real, you had no choice in the matter anyway. After a few hills, a few dark alleyways, and a trip across the sewer, Jungkook finally stopped in front of a large metal door and knocked three times. Curiously, you watched as a scanner popped up and he pressed his hand against it.

"I have a survivor with me too.“ he called out.

The door opened and you stepped into a clear elevator. You grabbed onto Jungkook nervously since it felt like you were going to fall down into the abyss with this optical illusion. He laughed but pulled you closer to ease your nerves. Soon, you were descending and the darkness was replaced by the images of a large city. Your grip loosened, and you turned around to marvel at the scene.

           "What is this?” you breathed.

"It’s the underground city of the Changers.“ he grinned.

”The Changers? You mean the rebel group that people aren’t sure is real??“ you pressed your face on the glass in awe.

"Well, we like to keep it that way so nobody comes looking for us.” he put a hand on your back and guided you out of the elevator. “I’ll give you a quick tour.”

"Whaaaat?“ you gasped as you stepped into an office building of sorts. It was bustling with people in lab coats.

"This is Head Quarters. It’s where we make weapons and figure out our plans.” he explained as you explored everything up close, as if you were a kid in your favorite museum.

"What’s this?“ You reached out towards a large contraption but his hand hurriedly grabbed yours to pull you away.

"Still impulsive I see.” he chuckled.

You grinned, glancing down at his hand holding yours as he continued walking down a long hallway. When had been the last time you had the comfort of human contact?

           "Where are we going?“

"I have to stop by some place first. Whenever we save 100 or more survivors and bring them here, the leader gathers everyone to give them a welcome.”

"Oh! I heard the leader was quite attractive.“ You grinned excitedly.

"Where’d you hear that?” he raised an eyebrow.

"Well back in the office, a few girls swore they witnessed the Changers at work and in the middle of the fight, they caught a glimpse of the leader’s face and fell in love!“

Jungkook snorted. "What a bunch of bull.”

You shook your head, “You’re just jealous because he’s probably better looking than you.”

Jungkook stopped in front of a door and pulled at your cheeks. “You’re still annoying like you used to be.”

You glared at him and rubbed your cheeks when he let go.

"But I’m glad you’re alive.“ His expression softened as he stared at you intently.

You blushed and smiled shyly. "I’m glad you’re alive too.”

"Come on.“ He gestured for you to follow as he opened the door behind him.

"Where are we?” You looked around, taking in the dim lighting of the room.

Jungkook walked towards where the light was, and you heard loud chatter.

"Stay out of trouble, okay?“ He instructed but you were too busy trying to figure out what kind of room you were in to reply.

Suddenly, he stepped into the light and you were snapped out of your thoughts by the sound of thunderous screaming and applause, as he appeared on stage throwing on his uniform top. Curiously, you slowly made your way towards the origin of the sounds, which you found to be behind a curtain now that your eyes were adapting to the dim light. To get a better view, you pulled the curtain to the side a bit more, and you gasped as you found Jungkook standing behind a podium, grinning from ear to ear, in front of thousands of people.

"Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to hear me make the same speech that Namjoon wrote for me again.”

Everyone laughed as you watched from behind, trying to make out the situation. Why was he up there? But your question was soon answered, and your jaw dropped as you heard it echoing loud and clear:

"Well, for those who aren’t aware, I’m Jeon Jungkook…the Leader of The Changers.“
