Shit, I forgot if I asked this already, so if I have ignore it;;; Maybe do an RFA reacting to falling in love with a male MC? I doubt in the end they'd care but I'm guessing there'd be some confusion/denial about it lol

Male MCs! How exciting~

This sort of turned into a series of minifics, but please enjoy~!

RFA Reacts : falling in love with a Male MC

  • Thought you were just one of those deep-voiced women.
  • He was definitely in for a surprise when he met you personally at the party.
  • At first he went straight for the cute girl beside you.
  • “Umm… sorry, you have the wrong person. MC’s my brother,“ she apologizes, and points to you.
  • “What? ….OH. I thought… I thought… “
  • He just stared wide-eyed at you, gaping like a fish because he was too shocked to find the right words.
  • You were tall, muscular… and scruffy. Cute, but not in the way he imagined his MC would be.
  • It was the kind of cute his sister would go for, really.
  • No wonder you called yourself “He Man“ in the chat rooms. You were so… manly.
  • “Uh…sorry about that, Yoosung. I knew you’d be shocked, so I brought my little sister along to—“
  • He silences you by putting a finger to your lips
  • Which was a lot of effort, since you were a head taller than him.
  • “You ARE the MC who helped me out, aren’t you? The… the one I confessed to, right?“ he asks in a shaky voice.
  • You notice the tears welling up on his right eye, and you wonder if he’s scared or angry.
  • “Yeah. Sorry ‘bout that,“ you sheepishly scratch at your cheek, too embarrassed to meet his eyes.
  • “Why are you apologizing, MC?“
  • “I’m apologizing because I know you wanted a girlfriend, Yoosung. Not a boyfriend. That’s why I brought my sister along.“
  • Upon meeting his eye/s, you see that he’s now glaring and trying to keep his temper in check.
  • Uh-oh.
  • “Look, MC. You don’t need to do that for me. It just wouldn’t be the same if I got together with your sister and not the person I fell in love with, y'know?“
  • You’re shocked by his statement, but it brings a smile to your face.
  • “But what about the other people around you? Your friends, family?“
  • “They’re not me, MC. And, well, this would take me a little to get used to, but I definitely want you.“
  • And then, he pulls you forward to give you a kiss which ends in him burying his face on your chest from embarrassment.
  • “Don’t let any girl or guy get too flirty with you, understand?“
  • “Alright.“

  • After the shock from rescuing you from Unknown wore down, he discreetly looked you over.
  • Short hair, small, feminine face… but why were you flat?
  • “Ah, MC, before I met you, I didn’t know a person as beautiful as me exis—–“
  • “I’m a guy, Zen.“
  • “Ahaha, don’t be like that, MC, you might be um… a little lacking on the chest area, but—“
  • “No, Zen. I’m not a flat-chested girl, I’m really a guy,“ you were getting tired if this.
  • You thought Zen would be different, but he was just like the others.
  • Women and men alike thought you were a tomboyish girl.
  • What could you do? You had a petite frame, a feminine face, and your voice was soft despite being born male.
  • Of course they would assume you were a woman, no matter how much you tried to look manly, short of donning tattoos.
  • So you decide to show him instead.
  • “M-MC, wait! I-it’s too early for this!“ he blushes furiously as you took off your shirt, dramatically covering his face.
  • You were standing shirtless in front of him and he still kept his eyes shut even after you removed his hands from his face and placed it on your chest.
  • “Zen, stop being dramatic and open your eyes. Seriously.“
  • You wanted to see whether he would still accept you if he realized that you were also a guy.
  • You’ve had numerous breakups with girlfriends, them claiming that you were too pretty to be a boyfriend.
  • It was tiring and frustrating. You just wanted to be loved.
  • Watching the look of wonder as he opened his eyes, you closed yours because you were scared of being rejected… again.
  • “Well, this IS quite a surprise, but you’re still beautiful, MC.“
  • Hmmmm?
  • His hands travelled to yours, propelling you to get closer to him, making you straddle him on the couch.
  • “Zen, do you want me to strip lower, because—“
  • “Silly, I know how a man’s upper body looks. I believe you now. You could show me too, but the beast might come out to play. Heh. Come on, MC. Open your eyes for me.“
  • Slowly opening your eyes, you find him smiling and looking lovingly at you.
  • “You… you don’t mind that I’m a guy?“
  • “Huh. I could say the same thing for you, MC. Well, do you?“
  • “No, I don’t. I’ve also only had girlfriends all this time.“
  • “Mmm, same. I’ve never been interested in men… until now,“ he says, absently running his hands on your arms.
  • That certainly came as a shock for you.
  • Zen was interested in you?!? Even as a guy???
  • “Errr… Zen…look, this… can we just start as friends first?“
  • “After all that flirting, MC? Nah, I think we’ll be fine as it is.“
  • Zen had seen co-actors kissing in bathrooms and having secret relationships backstage, so he wasn’t new to any of those.
  • In fact, there had been nights when he stayed up late thinking about how two men could be in a relationship.
  • He was curious.
  • But he didn’t want to play with you and your feelings.
  • He cradles your cheek in his hand and you lean into the touch
  • “MC, those calls where we didn’t flirt and joke around, all those things you said were true, right?“
  • “Yeah. They… they were.“
  • “I’m inexperienced with same-sex relationships too, but I’m willing to explore this with you, if you want,“ he says with a hopeful smile, afraid of you rejecting his proposal.
  • You seemed like you wanted to look manly, after all.
  • But he knew he was falling for you fast.
  • You were the same, but he didn’t know that.
  • “What about your career, Zen? I’m not willing to dress up as a woman for you.“
  • Aha, you were negotiating?
  • “We’ll cross the bridge when we get there, MC. So, are… are you willing to try it with me?“
  • “Risks and all? Well, if you are, then I guess I should also give it a try.“

  • She was flustered when you approached her with a bouquet of flowers.
  • Weren’t you the barista sporting a man bun who’d been trying to flirt with her at Bumping Donuts™?
  • Tbh she thought you were cute, but she thought she was being disloyal to her best friend and Zen if she stared more.
  • Only to find out that the cute barista was you!
  • “Hey, um… Jaehee, right? It’s me, MC.“
  • “M-MC? THE MC??? You surprised me! Why didn’t you just tell me you were the barista at the cafe?“
  • “Um… haha, well… you were getting along with Zen and realizing your dreams, Jaehee. I didn’t think it was important to personally introduce myself until now. Besides, I like it better when  I could support you from the sidelines.“
  • She didn’t know what came over her, but she just started crying.
  • “I’m sorry! Was- was it something I said?“
  • You didn’t know what to do with your hands, certainly not with the bouquet.
  • “You—- you silly! Why would you think that you’re not important? You literally turned my life around for the better, MC!“
  • Pulling out a key while wiping her tears, she looks up to you hopefully
  • “I’d been thinking this over a lot, but MC, would you like to be my housemate?“
  • Man, Jaehee moves fast when she wants to.
  • “Oh. But… but Jaehee… I’m a man… and living together, this is so sudden.“
  • “Why should it be a problem, MC? I mean, I… I just want to have you close. Is that so bad?“
  • She grows quiet after her outburst, gripping the key in her hand.
  • The change in atmosphere makes you silent as well, making you share a few minutes of awkwardness.
  • Sparing a glance at her, you could see that she was blushing to the tips of her ears and biting her lips in embarrassment.
  • So you take her hand in yours, and she looks up at you, her eyes still glistening with tears.
  • “Well, if you really want me to be your best friend and housemate…I guess, I could consider your offer…“ you trail off, giving her a sheepish grin.
  • “I’m looking forward to working with you in the future, MC,“ she replies happily, tackling you in a tight embrace.

  • Why is a college student at my doorstep?
  • A male college student, to be exact.
  • He looks you up and down, debating whether to ask you if you got lost wandering the building or to just order security to throw you out.
  • But you had a backpack with you.
  • Were you another one of his father’s mistresses’ long lost children?
  • “I’m sorry, but are you lost, or…?“
  • “Ah, no, I’m MC, Jumin. Ermmm… Mr. Han.“
  • He quietly steps back to let you in, and you wonder what he was thinking as you enter his flat.
  • Jumin was so confused, that he just showed you around the house and  politely excused himself under the premise that he needed to attend to some work at the office.
  • He wasn’t so interested in women because the ones he was faced with were fake and boring.
  • He knew he had a crush on his best friend’s fiancee before, so he knew he was still attracted to the opposite sex.
  • But he found himself attracted to a guy this time… you.
  • Did that make him gay?
  • You were the only one who listened without laughing and spiting him. You were the only one who tried to understand Jumin Han.
  • Why should he give up on you just because you were male?
  • He had to go home eventually, and found you pleading with one of his security personnel to let you go.
  • “What’s going on?“
  • You flinch when you hear his voice, turning to him like a child caught red-handed.
  • “You… you looked uncomfortable earlier, and I didn’t want to impose, so I was telling the guard that I wanted to leave…“
  • “Nonsense, MC. I was the one who offered you to stay over until the bomb threat dies down. I just didn’t expect that a man would turn up on my door, that’s all. Get inside.“
  • You go back the way you came, with him following close behind.
  • The atmosphere was still awkward, and you practically see the gears turning in his head.
  • Sitting at both ends of the dining table, you spend a good ten minutes not talking, only the clink of silverware breaking the deafening silence inside the room.
  • “Are you uncomfortable with my presence, MC?“ Jumin starts, not looking up from his steak.
  • Dammit, he beat you to the chase.
  • “No, but… don’t… don’t you feel the same?“
  • Putting down his silverware, he moves to the seat next to you and looks you straight in the eye.
  • “I admit that I was confused and in denial at first, but seeing you now, MC, I think you’re not so bad to keep me some company. Besides, Elizabeth III likes you,“ he gives you a brief smile, the expression brightening his otherwise serious face.
  • Relieved that his reaction wasn’t as bad as you thought it was, you lean close to him, a cheeky grin playing at your face.
  • “So is the rumor true…“
  • “… that I do gay? Hmph, that’s still up for debate, MC, but if it means I get to be with you, then I don’t mind at all.“

707 / Saeyoung

  • He saw your pictures first and was watching you through the CCTV.
  • It didn’t come as a surprise to him, and it certainly wasn’t an issue that he was growing attracted to you.
  • Well… maybe it was, a little bit.
  • Falling in love was a weakness in his line of work, after all.
  • He had to stay focused, and you weren’t letting him do that.
  • The day he busted inside the apartment to rescue you, he had mixed feelings.
  • As a defense mechanism, he shut everything, including you, out.
  • You decide to give him overnight to reflect, but boy, was he in for a world of surprises on the following days.
  • Aside from bugging him whenever you were in the house, you also went out frequently, and it drove him crazy trying to track you down.
  • You were meeting up with different women every day. But they left crying.
  • He knew, he followed you. Secretly.
  • But he never watches you till the end, because he wanted to respect your privacy. He wanted to trust you.
  • The last time, you went home sporting a glowing red mark on your cheek, telling him a bug bit you.
  • “Bug bites aren’t shaped like hands, MC. I know where you went,“ he declares, not looking up from his laptop.
  • “So you’re snooping around now, claiming that it’s for my safety? Whatever, Seven. Anyway, I’ll be in my room,“ you weren’t in the mood to snark back at him and simply retired to your room.
  • He felt bad for spying on you, but he instantly regretted trying to make up with you.
  • “No, Seven. Sushi isn’t meant to be eaten with chopsticks. Feed me with your hands,“ you command him with a bored look.
  • Keeping his temper in check, he drops the chopsticks and picks up the sushi, bringing it close to your lips.
  • “MC, open up.“
  • Holding the hand with the sushi still, you take the offered food with your mouth, letting his fingers linger inside as you made eye contact with him.
  • He was blushing to from the tips of his ears down to his neck and chest, but he also looked like he wanted to punch you.
  • Immediately pulls his hand away the moment you let go
  • “Stop playing with me and eat your food!“ angrily storming out of the house.
  • He was angry at himself for making you resort to this just to get his attention.
  • You on the other hand, felt like you’ve crossed the line.
  • Was it an issue for him after all? That you were also a man?
  • You swore he was interested. Then again, maybe not.
  • The next day, when he told you he was going to leave for good, you couldn’t hold your emotions any longer, and snapped.
  • “You’re just leaving like that?!? Have you even considered how I feel about it?!?“ frustratedly, you threw a punch at him, leaving him dumbstruck.
  • “Er… S-Seven, I’m so so—-oomph!“
  • You weren’t expecting him to punch back, so you were taken aback, falling on your ass
  • “Well, what about you?!? You were meeting all those women, and yet you kept telling me “I love you“ whenever you had the chance!“
  • Hearing him finally telling you out loud that he was jealous was so unexpected, it made you howl in laughter.
  • “You think this is funny, MC?!?“
  • “Ahaha, no, no… it’s just… you have it all wrong, Seven. I mean, yes, I have— no, had a string of girlfriends—“
  • “Look at you admitting to that. Do you even have the word, “faithful“ in your vocabulary?“
  • “Well, I didn’t, until I met you, actually. Which is why I broke up with all of them when you tried to push me away…I wanted to give this a try, I want to be faithful for once… but… you don’t mind that I’m a guy, don’t you?“
  • He was relieved to hear you liked him back, but that unsure expression you sported made him chuckle in return.
  • He was used to you being so cheeky, it was unusual to see you so vulnerable.
  • “MC… I did tell you that I didn’t mind which gender you had as long as you accepted me, didn’t I? I just… this isn’t just about the bomb anymore. I want to take my brother back, and where I’m going could be dangerous, so…“
  • “So? Are you underestimating me? Seven, I’ll go with you no matter where. I’m not letting you go alone. We’ll do this together, okay?“
  • Helping you up, he envelops you in an embrace, his chin resting on your shoulder.
  • “Thank you, MC.“

Unknown / Saeran

  • He’d been stalking you since you left your parents’ house three days ago.
  • You didn’t know your sister downloaded the app on your phone as a prank
  • That’s why you were surprised when he messaged you the moment you opened the app.
  • At first, you went along with the replies, even telling him you downloaded the app to chat with pretty guys.
  • But then he talked you into going to the address.
  • Assuming that it was a trap, you refused to open the door, claiming that you didn’t see the number panel.
  • Deciding that you weren’t fit for the job, he walks to your location to finish you off.
  • But you were missing.
  • “Were you looking for me?“ you ask from behind.
  • His reaction was slow, allowing you to swiftly pin him to the ground with your knee.
  • You were fresh from the military, and you weren’t expecting to use your moves on a civilian.
  • “Let… let me go!!!“ he squirmed to get free, but your hold was just too firm for him.
  • “I could kill you right here and now, you know,“ disarming him, you continue, “or… I could bring you to the station and let the police deal with you.“
  • It became a habit for you to carry zip ties around, so you whipped one out from your pocket to tie him up.
  • But wait… was he… crying? And mumbling?
  • “Hey, hey kid, you okay?“
  • He looked so sad, and you weren’t really good with crying people, so you moved in closer to hear what he was saying.
  • Bad mistake.
  • He headbutts you enough to be unconscious.
  • You were tied up and lying on a cold floor next to his bed when you woke up.
  • “I figured I could make you my assistant, so I didn’t kill you,“ he says nonchalantly, blowing smoke rings as he looked out the window.
  • He was half-naked and you noticed the numerous scars and bruises marring his milky white skin.
  • “What if I say no?“
  • He shoots the floor mere inches away from you
  • “Bastard, you almost blinded me!“
  • “I could do more than that. I’d take you out the moment you refused.“
  • You reluctantly agree to be his assistant, but you were still keeping on eye on him just in case
  • He never takes you to headquarters, and makes you stay in his apartment, even letting you take a day job as long as you do the jobs he assigns to you
  • Which isn’t much, really.
  • Clean this, clean that, compile the data and wire it to me, etc., etc.
  • He would bring you along to some missions, but those only occurred once in a blue moon.
  • He wasn’t so bad, you realize. He just sucks at expressing his needs and emotions.
  • You both don’t speak much, but you discover that you got along pretty well.
  • Perhaps a liiiiittle too well.
  • There was confusion at first, but after you worked out the knots (and beat each other because of a disagreement), everything went smoothly.
  • Neither of you were the lovey-dovey type, but you would sleep wrapped up in each other’s arms sometimes.
  • It didn’t matter to him that you were both men either, he just enjoyed your company.
  • You never found out whether he was able to lure somebody else into the apartment, but you figured that he might have, due to the late nights in front of his computer.
  • He asked you to make love to him out of the blue one day.
  • You obliged, being careful not to hurt him.
  • “MC, thanks for being my assistant,“ facing you, he lazily caresses your face, his green eyes vivid under the glow of the moonlight.
  • “If you hadn’t almost killed me that time, I wouldn’t have agreed, idiot.“
  • “I guess you’re right. Good night, MC.“
  • “I love you, Saeran.“
  • He doesn’t reply to this, but he lets you spoon him.
  • Waking up in the middle of the night, you find his side of the bed empty.
  • You figure that he might have gone to one of those sudden night missions assigned by the saviour, so you went back to sleep.
  • He always went back in the mornings, so you weren’t worried.
  • But he never returned.

V / Jihyun Kim

  • He recognized you the moment he saw the picture Seven sent him the day you joined the RFA.
  • How could he forget someone as picture perfect as you?
  • He had the habit of fanboying over photogenic men and women alike.
  • You were one of those male models he frequently recommended whenever there were projects he had to work on.
  • He was glad you were now a part of the RFA.
  • But a part of him didn’t want to share you with the others.
  • Alas, his mole work at Mint Eye kept him from talking to you, but he read the logs whenever he had the chance.
  • He would call you sometimes, but those were brief and far between.
  • You noticed how you’d also had growing feelings for him now that you were somewhat “regularly“ talking with him now
  • But you were afraid.
  • You were beaten almost with an inch of your life at one point after all.
  • Only because they found out you liked men despite being male yourself.
  • You were careful since then, only having relationships with women even though it made you unhappy.
  • You didn’t want to get ahead of yourself, but could you be honest with him?
  • You held off and waited till the party to tell him personally.
  • Making your way to meet him, you bumped into somebody and accidentally spilled the drink on his suit.
  • “I’m sorry! Are-are you alright, sir?“
  • “Alright? What do you mean, ‘alright’? This is an expensive suit, this—“ stopping in the middle of his sentence, recognition dawns on him, “MC? What’s a faggot like you doing here?“
  • Breaking out in a cold sweat, you remember the guest as one of the men who beat you up before.
  • You couldn’t answer him, and were defenselessly glued to the spot as he shamed you in front of the other guests.
  • You wanted to cry. To run away. But you couldn’t.
  • He was about to hit you when a hand shot out from behind you and stopped the blow.
  • “I’m sorry, sir. But did our coordinator do something to upset you?“ he calmly talked to your assailant, but the unmistakeable twitch in his smile gave his annoyance away.
  • “Well, aside from your planner spilling a drink on my suit, it’s him being a fag that’s upsetting me,“ he says rather smugly.
  • “Ah, that is rather upsetting. I may just ask you to leave, sir“
  • “Leave?!? What do you mean, leave? I’m the victim here! Why are you taking his side?!?“ the guest was starting to get agitated again, and was gaining the attention of the other RFA members as well.
  • Zen and Seven were trying to make their way through the crowd and Jumin was talking on the phone from afar.
  • In an unexpected move, V steps between the two of you and collars the offending guest, easily slamming him against the wall despite the huge size difference.
  • “I don’t want to use unnecessary force like this, but you’re not even trying to negotiate peacefully, SIR,“ emphasizing the honorific, he tightens his hold on the other man, making him scream in pain.
  • “V, that’s enough, please,“ Zen finally gets through, and, together with Seven, pulls him away from the guest.
  • Security also arrived just in time, and hauled the struggling man away from the crowd.
  • You didn’t remember what happened after that, but you found yourself sitting inside the staff room, wrapped up in a blanket and holding a bottle of water.
  • A worried V comes into your line of sight, and he asks you how you were feeling.
  • “I’m sorry I caused such a ruckus out there,“ you start to apologize, but he holds up a hand to silence you.
  • “I don’t want you to apologize for your sexuality, MC. You can be gay all you want, and I would still treat you the same,“ he smiles kindly, crow’s feet appearing on the corners of his eyes from under the shades.
  • “But… but what if I had feelings for you, V? Would you still accept me?“
  • His smile falters, and is replaced by a sad expression.
  • He wanted you too, it’s just… he knew he still wasn’t over her, so he turned you down as politely as he could.
  • “I would, but…I’m sorry, MC. I… can’t accept your feelings right now. But hey, we… we can still be friends, right?“
  • Bitterly accepting the rejection, you walk out of the party and into the wailing rain.
Sick day

Pairing: Lin x Reader FLUFF
Warnings: A cold? Shower (not sexual), unedited and I am sick so probably some errors sorry

Word count: 1787

A/N: Surprise! Ya girl is super sick so here is a self indulgent sickness themed fanfic. Reader is sick and Lin wants to take care of them but stubborn reader doesn’t want him to. But, being a precious cinnamon roll, Lin takes care of reader anyways. I know there are like 1000 sickness themed Lin fics but here’s another one because we all want Lin to take care of us when we’re sick, right?

Please message me with requests!

“[Y/N],” you hear Lin’s voice in your ear, slowly opening your eyes to reveal him crouched down next to you, “are you okay?” he asks, his voice full of worry.
You stretch your legs out, feeling the side of the couch, looking down, you notice the red-checkered blanket Lin had draped over your body, “Yeah,” you say through a raspy voice, “I’m fine.” You move to get up, but he places a hand on your shoulder, keeping your head on the pillow.

“[Y/N], you feel warm. Hot, actually. You’re always hot, but you’re absolutely burning up.” He says, pressing a hand to your forehead. “Yep. You have a fever.” He said conclusively, placing another blanket over your body.

“Lin,” you whined, freeing your arms from the blanket. “I’m fine. I just took a nap. It doesn’t mean I’-“ you let out a series of rough coughs, “I’m fine.”

It would have hurt.
When you lose someone it always hurts.

But it had to be done and sometimes doing it sooner is better. Sort of like putting that god awful burning peroxide on a cut.

It hurts and it stings, but it turns out better in the end.

And I know it hurts now, but hopefully this pain is better than the pain you would’ve felt later. After all an infection would cause the loss of a lim, but it will be better to lose me now rather than lose me later.

ESFJ and Fe vs. Fi

Hi there! I’m currently dating an Fe Dom man, and I’m fairly certain he is an ESFJ, though my question may not have anything to do with that in particular. In the recent ESFJ post about what it’s like to be an ESFJ, I read about the author’s Fe emotional response where she takes on other people’s emotions (i.e. if someone is sad, she will become sad as well). My boyfriend is the same way being Fe-dom and I have Fi as my second function in my stack being an ENFP. Recently, I told him that he needed to try and stop taking on my emotions when I’m upset because then I notice he’s upset and I will want to comfort him instead of processing my own negative emotions like I need to do. Eventually if he continues to do so, I will begin to force myself to not show any negative emotions with him to avoid me feeling like I need to deal with his negative emotions instead of mine and I see that going down a bad path of my Fi not being true to myself anymore. Do you have any tips on how either he can train his Fe to stop taking on my negative emotions or how I can help myself not feel like I need to comfort him when he’s upset that I’m upset? Or both? Hopefully this makes sense. It’s challenging to date someone with Fe when you have Fi, but I believe any types can make a relationship work without having to hide who they are if they are both mature enough. Thanks!

(Melodramatic gif for the win.)

Does your significant other know anything about MBTI? If not, this may be the time to do a brief once-over and talk about the difference between how Fe and Fi process emotions. (Fe feels better through communication, Fi feels better with time alone.) If so, remind him that you are Fi, and handle feelings differently than he does.

He needs to respect your boundaries, and you need to establish some basic rules. I realize that for a lot of high Fi’s, the world grinds to a halt when something stirs your emotions, and you cannot fake anything to save your life, but unless society absolutely demands you be “present” when this happens (you cannot walk out of a job, a meeting, etc), you can find ways to retreat and process.

For the Fi-user:

Allow yourself to withdraw, when you need to process your emotions. Leave the room. Go for a walk. Sit in the backyard alone. Get out a pencil and paper, and write down what’s going through your head. Process it, then if you need to discuss it with Fe, do so. If not, do not. Proximity is the problem. Fe cannot be upset alongside you, if you are not next to them radiating feelings. Be honest. Say, “I’m going to be alone with my thoughts for awhile. I’ll come back when I’m in a better mood.” Then go and do it, and take however long you need.

If you don’t live together, and something happens to upset you before you are going to meet him in the evening, be honest with him. Say, “I’d love to see you tonight, but something came up at work that annoyed me, so I think I should stay home tonight. Can we do something tomorrow instead when I’m feeling better?” If you do live together, you just need some “space” in the house that is yours. It should be the place he does not disturb you, even to comfort you. Your “angry closet,” or a long shower, anyplace you can be alone and undisturbed.

Tell yourself, this is not about Fe, this is about me. It is natural for you to want to bring your loved one “up” when he is “down,” but this is your emotions, they belong to you, and you should not have to ignore them when someone else takes them on. Maybe if you see him getting upset, remind him (nicely) that these are your feelings, and he does not have to feel them with you. That the best thing he can do for you right now is to either leave you alone to process them, or lift you up and reassure you that everything is going to be fine.

For the Fe-user:

Fi appreciates that you love her/him very much, but what Fi needs from you is space. Your natural instinct will be to get upset with them, to feel what they are feeling, but you need to learn to step back and let them process things before you comment, get involved, or try and talk them through it. Remind yourself that you cannot help them, if you are upset also.

Leave them alone. This is totally against your nature. You want to comfort them. It will feel like you are a bad person, to go to the other end of the house, or to go watch a movie while they brood, but this is what they need from you. If they want you to talk them through it, they will come and ask. They will bring up whatever is the matter. If they go in another room and shut the door, respect it. They will come out when they are in a better emotional place.

Do not force or push them to talk about whatever is wrong. Until they are ready, they will not want to discuss what happened or what is bothering them. It may kill you with curiosity, but know that them confiding in you is the sign of ultimate trust. Please give them the space to collect their thoughts, sort out their feelings, and approach you.

For both of you:

Be honest in your needs and wants. Do not expect the other one to just “know.”

This is essential for any relationship to succeed; many people do not communicate their wants, needs, and expectations from a significant other (or even just a friend) and find themselves upset or disappointed when their expectations are not met. For example, if either one of you retreats because you are upset, but secretly hopes the other one will come ask you what is wrong, or knock on the door, and they do not … it does not mean they do not love you. It means they do not know what you want, and took your retreat as a sign that you need to be alone. If you want comfort, reassurance, or affirmation, don’t retreat, or sidestep the issue: ask for it.

Unless you specify what you want, people have to guess – and they will default to whatever they think is most helpful. Sometimes what you want is advice; ask for advice. Sometimes what you want is someone to empathize; be honest about that at the start (“I need to complain and have you be on my side, is that okay?”). If you want empathy and reassurance, say that’s what you want: “I had a hard day, I’m really upset, I feel like no one appreciates me, I just need you to tell me I’m a good person and that tomorrow will be better.”

The secret to any excellent relationship, between any combination of types, is good communication – because it is in the silence between the lines where assumptions are made and feelings get hurt.

Raspberry with Jack and Tali for your Flowers and Prompts thing.

This is 576 years old but better late than never!! :D I wrote one other little fic about Jack and Tali, but I don’t write either of them that much, so hopefully I do them justice :) <3

Raspberry- [remorse]

Things couldn’t get much worse for Tali, but she should have known better than to think that way shouldn’t she? By now she should have learned that things don’t ever really get any easier, they just sorta stop mattering as much. What was the point of it all when in the end you barely know the people you thought you did and you’re unable to trust the words of those you thought you could. What was the point when family didn’t even seem to matter anymore…

Okay, Tali didn’t really feel that way… at least not completely. She was just sad at the days turn of events, and it was okay to be sad sometimes wasn’t it? I mean, first she stood trial against claims of treason, and then she found her father’s lifeless body at the Alerai. Tonight she decided sadness was more than justified. She was going to let that remorse and pain happen in full and she was going to feel it all.

She couldn’t believe the day she’d had… Not only 6 hours ago she found her father and discovered he’d been behind it all, and that in a way- so had she. Not only 4 hours ago, she had been pardoned of her ‘crimes’ against the Fleet… 6 hours had passed since she saw him, but it felt like it had been days and she wondered if she was being unappreciative in a way… She knew Shepard didn’t need to help her- that it wasn’t in her job’s description; but she did, like she always would. And Tali knew Shepard didn’t need to lie during her trial- but she did that too with no questions asked. It was because of Shepard that Tali was free to go, and the reason she wasn’t banished from her home…

But what kind of home really was it anymore? So much of what she thought she knew had turned out to be lies, and she felt guilty in her role in all of this. Even with the positives around her, she couldn’t stop fixating on all of the negatives.

And the worst of it all was that Tali didn’t know her father… not really. She thought she did of course, oh she though she did. But it became clear that that man wasn’t the one that raised, her. Not anymore and it was hard for her not to feel betrayed. Used… abandoned. Those feelings of deception and the unnerving swim of guilt spread through her to a point she could barely contain and for once she was praising this mask she was forced to wear, for it was the only thing hiding her true feelings.

When she couldn’t decide who was really to blame in it all she decided there was only one thing she could do: Drink.

So Tali pulled herself from her omni-tool and made her way towards the lounge with one thing on her mind. She was pretty sure that Garrus had some Turian Brandy tucked away, and she was also pretty sure he wouldn’t mind if she had a glass or two. Or three… or maybe the whole bottle now that she thought about it. When she reached the lounge however, she was greeted by Jack, who had herself spread widely across the couch as she take large swigs from her beer; and by the looks of her she also needed to get very very drunk.

“Oh… I, um… I’ll just let you… be.” Tali stumbled as she pulled a three fingered hand to her mask awkwardly itching absolutely nothing. A nervous tick she picked up from watching too many humans no doubt.

“I don’t think so. Get your ass in here.” Jack said as she slid her leg from the top of the couch and place both feet firmly on the ground. “We’re gonna get shit faced.”

“Uh, that sounds… nice?” Tali offered as her tone raised an octave in the end. She had never spent much time with Jack, and she did have a reputation of being well, kind of crazy. But, Tali really did need a drink and what was that thing humans said about misery loving friends or…. was it company? She never could remember.

“Fuck yes it does. Now get your skinny ass a drink and bring me another beer while you’re at it, will ya?” Jack threw her head back into the soft couch with one hand propped behind it. When Tali stood in the doorway with arms crossed and head tilted she added. “…. Please.”

“Did I really just get a ‘please’ out of the badass that is Jack? I must be dreaming.” She offered as she stroll to the bar and shuffle through several bottles for one that wouldn’t kill her and one that would. When she found what she was looking for she move back towards Jack handing over a light blue bottle.

Jack grabbed it with a smile as she lifted both of her legs straight in the air, revealing the other side of the couch. In Tali’s mild confusion she deducted that Jack had intended the seat for her, and just as she expected once she complied Jack’s legs slid back to place over her lap crossing at the ankle. Tali had to admit, it was a little strange but truthfully, she didn’t care and it felt nice to be close to someone.

“Why do you look like someone killed your puppy?” Jack offered after a long swig of her beer as she peer at her from her relaxing position.

At first Tali didn’t want to say anything, so she didn’t. But after a moment she couldn’t find a good enough reason not to. “I just found out my father is… well, he’s not who I thought he was.” Tali paused to stuff the emergency induction port through a small slit in her mask taking a much larger swig than intended. That warm prickly tingle sent its tiny daggers through her throat as it burn its way down her stomach. After a quick sigh she continued. “Oh… and he’s dead.”

Tali hadn’t wanted to talk bout it, but here she was… talking about it. To someone she had hardly even knew.

“Rough.” Jack said as she take another swig staring at the ceiling of the lounge.

“Yeah… rough.” Tali repeated taking another large drink from her EIP and within seconds she felt its sweet bubbly embrace spread through her offering its own semblance of release.

Tali didn’t really need to ask Jack anything, but she knew something was wrong. And it didn’t take long for her to image what it could be. Just about everyone on the Normandy had their own issues that needed resolving. They all knew they would be dying soon… That they’d be going through the Omega 4 Relay with no hope of returning. But as she sit here in silence with Jack, she couldn’t help but… laugh.

“You sure you’re okay in that suit, Zora? Cause even I don’t think that’s funny, and I think a lot of fucked up shit is funny.” She ended with a small smile, almost unable to laugh herself.

At first the nickname surprised Tali, it wasn’t often anyone called her anything besides Tali but after a second in their shared laughter she liked it.

“I don’t… think it’s funny. It’s just, I have this thing. When I’m sad I just… well I sort of just laugh. And this brandy… well, it’s not helping.” Tali took another long sip from her glass and now it was empty. After a disappointed sigh and a soft chuckle she removed her EIP from the glass placing it in the narrow neck of the Turian Brandy bottle. When her giggle subsided her voice was lighter, but also more serious in a way. “Does any of this ever get easier?”

Jack opened her eyes finally blinking several times before pulling herself up partially, resting back on her elbows. “Do you want the truth?”

Tali looked to Jack, studying her facial expressions as best she could before replying after a small sip from the straw. After having been lied to by her father for so long, another lie seemed unbearable even if it might have been one she wanted to hear. “Yes.”

Jack pulled herself to sit forward completely, with legs still stretched and crossed over Tali’s lap. “The truth is… I don’t know, but I really fucking doubt it.”  With a lazy arm she pull the blue bottle to her lips, finishing it off. “This world isn’t built to help people like us or Shepard. It’s built to break us. And if you let it, it will.”

“What if I want it to?” Tali said quietly sipping slowly from the bottle as she think back on her life with her father. All of the things he promised her and all of the knowledge he shared. But still with all of the happy memories, she couldn’t stop thinking of the recent bad ones. She felt so betrayed by him… so used, and so damn guilty. “What if I deserve it?”

“Listen here. I don’t really know what happened- just what I heard. But it sounds to me like your dad was a dick… Like he took advantage of you and your trust in him. And you stuck it out and didn’t rat him out for… who the fuck knows why. But you did. And that right there shows me that you’re the type of person the world can’t break.” Jack let out a small sigh as she reach behind her placing the empty bottle on the table. “So don’t let it. You have a family right here, Miss Normandy.”

Tali smiled behind her suit feeling the warmth of the brandy and at Jack’s uncharacteristic omission and in that moment she knew Jack was right. She did still have a family, one that was stronger and deeper even than blood and with that support the world could never break her.

Using Meth—Getting the Most Out of It

ately, there have been a few posters I have replied to who don’t actually know how works. If you don’t have a basic understanding of what’s going on in your body, you will waste it when you really can’t get any higher, cause damage with an overdose and in so doing, also create a dependency by trying to force a high.
Reading this may save you money, give you a better high, do less damage to your body, and hopefully keep you from becoming addicted or better manage an <. I’ve left out some details and made a few generalizations to keep this as simple to understand as I can.Methamphetamine</a> directly affects release. Dopamine is an organic chemical in the brain that works with two other chemicals, serotonin and norepinephrine. All affect our moods, our actions, our outlook on life—our wants and needs. When dopamine is released into the brain as ater">neurotransmitter, it seeks out dopamine receptors in different areas of the brain. When the dopamine is activated at these points, it affects motor control, motivation, arousal and reward, including sexual gratification.

When you get an initial rush, this is when a much higher release of dopamine (hundreds of times more than normal) saturates the dopamine receptors. The brain is overwhelmed trying to process this massive amount of a potent chemical. After the receptors adjust to this onslaught, the rush is over, but it continues to give you a high. This is the main mechanism.

What happens after this hit or shot (especially noticeable with an IV injection), the dopamine receptors realize you have too much dopamine at work and send some of the dopamine back to the neurotransmitters for later use. The dopamine pathways also shut down, making it impossible to send more dopamine to the receptors. This leaves less dopamine in the brain before it has time to manufacture more and the dopamine pathways open up again.

As the high lessens, users begin thinking they want the stimulation of the initial high and re-dose. The signal goes out again to release dopamine, but there’s not as much in your brain as you had before. There’s not enough to release at one time to give you a rush, but the high goes back up to a degree.

If the booster still isn’t enough, more meth is used over and over, trying to get to the level of the initial high. This is when people start mentioning tolerance levels and become disappointed with their high. The truth is, you’ve run out of fuel (dopamine). At this point, the meth is being wasted and you are chasing a high that physically can’t be attained.

Because of the over stimulation of the dopamine receptors, some of them are trying to compensate and temporarily begin shutting down, cutting off availability of the active chemical. Over time, with a more than casual use of meth, the receptors will shut down for longer times, or if become damaged, permanently. It isn’t really a tolerance level that has changed. Parts of the brain simply aren’t working at the moment.

The only way to get another rush and a higher high is to stop using meth for a while and let the dopamine settle down and rebuild its stockpile. Depending on how much meth has been used up to this point will have a direct bearing on how long it takes for the brain to recover.

Because I want a good rush without too much expense, I want to wait a week until I know dopamine levels are down to about as low they can go to do their normal maintenance. Before my shot, I won’t take a hit off a pipe or do a line, as they will only release part of the dopamine and not leave enough to give me the best rush. I understand some people can’t wait this long, so they use more and more meth, thinking their “tolerance level is up,” trying to milk every last molecule of their dopamine out of the transmitters.

This increased usage creates what can be termed a vicious cycle of continually using more to get less. It develops into a mental craving and signals that addiction has begun. Methamphetamine first creates a mental addiction. When the mental addiction can’t be satisfied, the body responds by giving you physical signals, initiated by the brain to try to make contact with you. It’s a temper tantrum of sorts.

I can’t explain all of the side effects from using meth, but an important one is that a greater amount of dopamine in the system will shut down norepinephrine release. Anyone who is familiar with depression and has taken medication for it may be familiar with the terms selective serotonin reuptake inhibitorp?title=SSRI" title=“SSRI”>SSRI)” or “serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI).” Serotonin is actually a precursor to norepinephrine. You need the one to have the other. In any case, reduced amounts in the brain will cause a state of depression (slight or more severe) and brings on some of the unpleasant side effects evident in a comedown. It also acts as a vasoconstrictor, tightening veins to reduce blood flow. In some cases it brings on nausea.

Since methamphetamine is a stimulant it can greatly reduce the ability to sleep. Sleep deprivation can cause hallucinations and eventually psychoses. Before methamphetamine was taken off the over-the-counter market in the last century, it was the basis for the best diet pills created. It kills the appetite. There is also a tendency to become dehydrated while using it. Hunger and dehydration can do real damage to the body and if you recognize them, they are a warning that your consumption of meth has reached a dangerous level because you have not taken preventive care along the way during your high. (See The Meth Medicine Cabinet on how to manage this.)

Better understanding of what meth does to your body can also give you control over what you don’t want it to do.

Better understanding of what meth does to your body can also give you control over what you don’t want it to do.

The Meth Medicine Cabinet

This is a Reference Guide and is quite long, but the information provided will help you remain healthier and your body will thank you for it.

Some people want meds to take the unpleasantness away after using methamphetamines. Others want to take “something” to keep from getting the same reactions before using meth. The wiser will be the second group. For those of you who know little or nothing about the upkeep of your body and what meth is doing to it: There is NO magic pill.

Obviously, we can’t cover every condition or medical problem associated with using meth, but we can give you an essential guide to using the basics of vitamins, minerals and even herbal supplements that can be used preventatively, during and after use.

We won’t discuss any chemicals that may be found in other sections of Drugs-Forum dealing with bringing down the high, forcing sleep or in any way induces the body to react in a manner you might like it to. We are not polyusers and don’t subscribe to it. Combining uppers with uppers, or uppers with downers can become quite dangerous—and that is not Harm Reduction.

The use of meth causes a rapid chemical change in the mind and body, and the body reacts to it as a toxin, which it is. Our idea is to reduce the damage caused.

Preparation for a meth session is extremely important. If the body is not ready for this onslaught, the damage comes on faster and with more force. Two things we might not find in the medicine cabinet, but more likely the refrigerator, are the essentials you need, in liquid and solid form.

Keeping the body hydrated is the #1 rule. What does this mean? Simply making sure we have consumed enough water and metabolites, and continue to do so, while meth does its thing. Water is the base liquid, but the addition of metabolites such as potassium and sodium, are critical to maintain your body’s fluid, regulate blood pressure and heart function. Sports drinks are recommended by many.

Once meth enters the body, it’s a fight for survival and blood is routed to the organs that cleanse the body. The blood has to be moving fast—free-flowing—and that means it’s not sticky and dehydrated. Those organs need to remain healthy to do the job at hand and survive while doing it.

Eating. A nutritious diet of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as high protein foods such as red meats will give your body the majority of vitamins and minerals you need to keep you healthy. Fatty foods such as French fries and deep-fried cheese sticks do not contain them.

Hydrating and Eating are your 2 top priorities, bar none.

Now, let’s go see what’s in the medicine cabinet. On the top shelf—the most important one–the first item is Multivitamins (and minerals). Do you really need them? Do you eat 3 nutritiously balanced meals a day along with drinking 3, 8-oz. glasses of homogenized milk, including a good workout regimen in the sun? Most people don’t, and that’s why you need a multivitamin.

Many meth users have asked what kind of a multivitamin they should take. If you research them on the internet, it seems the ratings on each chart are somewhat dependent on who is sponsoring the charts of the best. I’ve looked around, read reviews, and come up with two that actually rate somewhere better than the middle of the charts and aren’t that expensive. Just remember: take one per day, and only one.

For Men: Centrum Silver Men 50+. The experts say you should ignore the “men 50+,” because the combination is correct for any male. These multis don’t contain any iron and you already get enough from your food. Go to the Centrum Silver website and get a $3.00 off coupon for them!

For Women: One-A-Day Women’s contain the amount of iron needed for premenopausal women, in addition to the other essentials you should find in a multi. Go to the One-A-Day Women’s website and get a $1.00 off coupon!

While included in the multis, there is one other vitamin that needs to be increased in the meth users’ diet, as well as those who also smoke cigarettes. It is Vitamin D3. You need vitamin D3 to properly absorb calcium. Meth leaches the body of calcium and it’s vital you maintain blood calcium levels. You also need D3 to help your body continue to build strong and healthy bones all throughout your life. It also can reduce inflammation and hold your immune system in check. The most natural way the body gets Vitamin D3 is from the sun. Milk is also fortified with Vitamin D3. But since you didn’t drink your milk and didn’t go outside to exercise in the sun, you really need these. I take one 5,000I.U. soft gel every day.

The next bottle on the top shelf is Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc. Even though they are already included in your multi (but only at 25%-30% of daily recommended value for Calcium and Magnesium), the way meth uses these minerals up, you really need more. Calcium, of course, builds strong bones, but it also makes muscles move and contract, allows nerves to carry messages, keeps blood vessels throughout the body healthy, and helpsneurotransmitter release! If you know and love dopamine, then you know how really important this is. Unless you are on a heavy fig and rutabaga diet, then you need this supplement.

Magnesium is important for the functioning of your heart, muscles, kidneys, and balancing other nutrients such as calcium and potassium. It also improves blood pressure. Once you know what the deficiencies of magnesium cause, you will ask no more questions. They are: anxiety, weak bones, low energy, weakness, inability to sleep, PMS and hormonal imbalances, irritability, nervousness, headaches, abnormal heart rhythm, muscle tension, spasms, cramps, and fatigue. Now get this—one of the biggest complaints we have—TEETH CLENCHING, or Bruxism, is also a Magnesium deficiency. And it seems the magnesium does a better job resolving it when it has a fresh supply of calcium helping it.

Zinc helps you maintain a healthy immune system and fights infections. (Take note, IV users.) Zinc is necessary for the functioning of more than 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in an enormous number of biological processes.

What a one-two-three knockout punch these guys have. And only two tablets a day will take care of all these things for just pennies.

Potassium Gluconate. I think I was taking these tablets before meth was invented. Potassium is an electrolyte (along with sodium), which is why I encourage people to use sports drinks, as they are included. The potassium helps regulate (lower) blood pressure and heart function. As you know, when using meth, your blood pressure skyrockets, so why not help curb the possibility of a stroke? As a matter of fact, there was a Harvard study that showed taking potassium supplements along with a diuretic (yeah, give me a couple of those potassiums with a cup of coffee), reduced the incidence of a stroke by 60%. Potassium is what makes our cardiovascular and nervous systems function. I’ve found it also works with magnesium to prevent cramping, and it aids during the recuperation part of your meth escapades.

The tablets contain 595mg of potassium, which is slightly more than the potassium found in a medium-sized banana. Take your pick. Have one of each. But be sure to double that number over the period of a day. Potassium doesn’t stay in the system for a long time. Oh, and one more very important thing: potassium is one of the prime movers, along with zinc, in elimination of wastes. That’s where all of those toxins the body is trying to get rid of are hanging out. And if they hang out inside of you too long, you become a recipient of toxic buildup—not a good thing.

Those, believe it or not, are your “prepping for meth use” essentials. Food, drink, and 4 bottles of vitamins and minerals. And when you look at it, and how complete it really is, it reminds me of prepping for the flu. You know the invader is coming, and you are prepared.

Before we have a look at the 2nd shelf, let me tell you that the supplements industry brings in over $60 billion a year. Once some people start taking them, it becomes almost an…addiction. “Horny Goat Weed sounds good. I think I’ll try that along with the Horsetail Shavegrass.” About $1,000 later and a cabinet full of supplements, these people realize all they are doing is taking supplements. They can’t even remember the last time they cooked a meal. So, let’s not get too carried away and fill the shelf too full.

Another point of view involves human nature. If we make a list of things to take every day that is too long, because of the hassle and time involved, a lot of people will fall out of the program. However, if we have simply the essentials that will do the job, the tablets or capsules can be assembled and swallowed in less than a minute.

My first two personal picks not only are helpful when using meth, but also fulfill a couple of other needs I have. The first is L-arginine. It’s a dietary supplement that produces Nitric Oxide (NO). Nitric Oxide should not be confused with Nitrous Oxide, the laughing gas. But it’s still a gas and what is does is enter the bloodstream and drop off these little bubbles on the insides of the vein walls, stretching them out, making them wider. My primary use is because I have a slight high blood pressure condition, and it allows the blood to flow smoother. But, if you’re a meth user, too, you might have figured out it works against vasoconstriction, or tightening of the veins. Many men cope with vasoconstriction when high. The more meth they use, the tighter the blood vessels, until no more blood can get through to make an erection. Relief is possible with just a couple of capsules a day, two times a day. Also, for IV users who have a difficult time finding veins, I have discovered that as the veins plump a little, they also become more visible in some areas.

The next supplement is HGH Dopa 400, also known as mucuna pruriens. I don’t bother with the HGH (human growth hormone) efficacy as it is small, even if true, but the plant material ground up and put in these capsules is full of L-dopa, a precursor to making dopamine. Now why would anyone want their brains to produce more dopamine? Besides the fact I’m getting a bit old and maybe the dopamine production isn’t as good as it used to be (normal), maybe I just don’t want to run out of dopamine when I’m high and want to stay that way.

The next couple of bottles contain supplements that are popular, and effective.

Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s are not produced by the body and naturally are derived from eating fish. Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and may help lower risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. Omega-3 fatty acids are highly concentrated in the brain and appear to be important for cognitive (brain memory and performance) and behavioral function. It may also assist in controlling high blood pressure and, in people with Bipolar disorder, reduce mood swings. Symptoms of omega-3 fatty acid deficiency include fatigue, poor memory, dry skin, heart problems, mood swings or depression, and poor circulation. Daily dosing should be based on the amount of EPA (180mg) and DHA (120mg) acids, not total amount of fish oil.

Coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10 vitamin supplement, is naturally made in the body, but sometimes (especially with aging) the necessary levels of this enzyme-protein that speeds up the rate at which chemical reactions take place in the body, drop to below what is considered normal. Its main function, however, is as an antioxidant. While many trials have been run, peer reviews have not been overwhelmingly positive, due to the lack of further studies. The antioxidant function of CoQ10 appears strongest in reducing neurological damage or decline, including that of dopamine neurotransmitters. My next door neighbor, who is 80, says this is the closest thing to a miracle drug. Do you want to live that long? My answer is that I take this stuff. Since it is fat-soluble, I take it at the same time as my Omega-3. Daily dosage is 200mg-600mg.

At this point in time, I am satisfied with the above list. The dietary regimen that we started off with, along with these vitamins, minerals and supplements, are really the glue that binds in keeping our bodies whole, especially for the meth user. They are also the most protective and restorative additions we can make without breaking the bank.

There are other supplements that seem to be common with meth users. Perhaps the most often mentioned is melatonin. This is a hormone that is found in all biological organisms, and as such, we know we produce it ourselves, in the pineal gland from the raw material Tryptophan. Melatonin regulates our internal clock and maintains the Circadian Rhythm of our body. But we know what happens when we start using meth. All of a sudden our internal clock is shattered and we are officially on “Meth Time.” Depending on usage patterns and amounts, we find one Meth Day can extend itself past 24, 36, 48 hours and even beyond. At some point, the user may decide to end this prolonged day and get some sleep. But the meth is still active and sleep is hard to arrive.

Melatonin turns off the meth clock and helps reset the body to the biological clock function. It also promotes sleep and affords the body a long restful period, where deep sleep begins and allows the body to start healing itself. Taking the recommended tablets returns the body to normal levels of Melatonin where sleep becomes automatic.

Melatonin is also used by some people along with benzodiazepines; however there is a possibility of creating a benzo dependency with long term use. (As mentioned earlier, I can’t talk about or recommend using uppers with uppers or uppers with downers as there sometimes are consequences that cannot be predicted.) There are also several other chemical interactions with a supplemental dose of melatonin which can reduce the efficacy of other medications you may be taking. It was for that reason, I decided not to use melatonin.

If we were to look at the lower level of the Meth Medicine Cabinet, we also might find other things that might be used. For instance, that bottle ofisopropyl alcohol, which is mostly used to sterilize any areas of the skin that might be met by an IV needle, a broken piece of a glass pipe or other minor cuts and scratches. A tube of Hydrocortisone 1% Cream used to treat itching and small burns, and a tube of Triple Antibiotic Ointment (Neosporin) to be applied on a damaged area to prevent infection are a couple of great first aid musts. Not to mention only accidents that happen when doing your drug, think of all of those times you’ve experienced spun out people pulling things apart, moving things around, falling on their butts and creating minor mayhem.

What’s this bottle? Viagra! For those men who have really serious consequences trying to get their manhood going while under siege from vasoconstriction, a half-tab of this stuff may do the trick. The caution is that it’s trying to relax those veins while the norepinephrine release is doing just the opposite. There’s a tug-o-war going on here that can stress the body, especially the heart.

Yohimbe 2000 is over there in the corner. It’s a natural stimulant, what I call “Poor Man’s Meth.” One of the better features of this herbal product is that it actually acts as a vasodilator, while still stimulating the body. Yohimbe has been known as an aphrodisiac for centuries, which most likely has been based on how it stimulates. Let’s say you are all out of your man-made stimulant but still feel ready to go that extra mile. Using one or two of these capsules may just let you make it to the finish line. But be careful, as there is a very thin line between being good and being bad. Too much of this stuff, and the nausea and other bad vibe reactions kick in, simply spoiling the moment.

Sitting up behind the Yohimbe bottle are a couple of sanitary wrapped prophylactics. They are there as a reminder that meth users, as a group, become a pretty high percentage of people who spread STDs, HIV/AIDS, and other infectious diseases along with assorted cooties, which are not the same as meth bugs.

Below the Meth Medicine Cabinet, there’s a basket full of goodies. Let’s investigate. I see a couple of toothbrushes, some toothpaste and dental floss. I think we’re onto something! Taking care of your teeth and mouth are extremely important, whether a meth user or not. But when meth gets ahold of your mouth, the damage can increase at the speed of light. Next to those items is a big bottle of ACT Restoring Mouthwash, great for restoring enamel and it helps mineral recrystallization on the teeth. Next to the ACT is a bottle of Biotene, a mouthwash specifically made for dry mouth. Meth dries out the mouth and gives you the common “Meth Mouth.” A dry mouth means bacteria can form, causing ulcerations—mouth sores. Biotene also comes in gel form, which is designed to keep your mouth from going dry for 6-8 hours. There’s also a salt shaker and an empty glass. Falling short of the commercial methods, you can always gargle with warm salt water to kill off the bacteria. Just do it more often.

Recommendations—Good and Bad

Here are a couple of items I have seen people recommend, but they come with some advisories. There are many of our multivitamins that are also sold individually as Super Paks or under other marketing names. Let’s take the Vitamin B Complex group as one such item. And I am sure they have some benefits that your multis don’t have. But the fact remains that they are already in your multis at 100% Recommended Values. Before proceeding to take the both, and therefore at least doubling recommended amounts, I would want to research them to see at what level they become toxic.

Here’s another that I see recommended from time-to-time, and for the life of me I can’t understand why, except whoever started this trend did not do their homework. L-tyrosine is abundant in our foods and we get more than enough of it without supplementation. But, it’s also known to convert to L-dopa. And that’s where the research must have ended. They didn’t read how it also produces a lot of norepinephrine, that Dark Knight of Vasoconstriction–that bugaboo of irony created when using meth. But there’s more. It just might be that adding the supplement puts you over the top and actually shuts down your production of dopamine. That’s what L-tyrosine can do in larger amounts.

Some people simply cannot eat when high, due to other conditions they may suffer, or their own body chemistry. There is an alternative in liquid form that you can use to replace the solid food. Many meth users prefer to use protein shakes, such as Ensure.

Before we end this, let’s talk about dosages. More people than I want to imagine must believe that if one tablet is good, two must be better. That is not the case. Even vitamins and minerals have toxic levels. Always read recommended dosages and warning labels on any vitamins, minerals, supplements, and medicines you may also be taking. As I had to remind a friend one time: taking too many vitamins is not going to get you high, but it might get you sick.

There’s still more room in the Meth Medicine Cabinet. Maybe you have something you’d like to recommend. If you have something neat you have discovered and use, then let us know. But just don’t name it. Tell us how it helps your body, if there are any contraindications, and if there are any downsides to using it. You should at least be able to explain this, since you are using them.

Why Your Story Deviates from Your Outline

Outlining is a great way to frame your ideas before taking the plunge into a new story, but it’s important that you don’t get too attached to your outline. A lot can change during the writing process, and you might be surprised by the direction your characters will go and how the story might evolve because of it. I’ve said this a lot on this blog, and I got to thinking lately, why is this? Why is it that we can outline in great detail and still feel like we have no control over what happens when we actually start writing? So I thought about it, and here’s what I decided.

1. Your head’s too full in the outline phase.

Writing releases us from having to think about something, whether it’s our own personal emotions or our stories. You might have a detailed outline, but until you’ve written that first scene, you won’t stop thinking about it. You’ll imagine your flawless execution, you’ll imagine it playing out in your head, and you’ll even imagine some lines of dialogue. But until you remove this scene from your imagination and make it into something real, it’s taking up prime real estate in the area of your brain where you brainstorm.

If you haven’t released any of your story from your imagination, then you’re having to creatively think about every scene all at once. It’s harder to visualize a climax when you’re trying to visualize opening scenes, character introductions or arguments and major plot events all at the same time. No matter how much you plan out that climax, your imagination can’t truly visualize it into something close to reality until you remove all that extra stuff. Because once you’ve written all that “extra stuff,” your imagination doesn’t need to reflect on it anymore. And it can focus on the climax.

On the contrary, suppose you can visualize your climax in detail before you’ve written your story. You might be able to play out that crucial scene in your mind like a movie, but do you have any emotional attachment to it? It’d be like watching the last 20 minutes of a movie and only understanding it because you read a summary of the movie beforehand. Without experiencing the first ¾ of the movie, you’re unable to emotionally connect to it. And when your imagination is focusing all its energy on brainstorming your climax, it’s unable to focus on all those scenes leading up to the climax.

It’s all about give and take. You can’t possibly visualize your entire story in detail from beginning to end. Your climax might not be fully realized until you write the first half of the story. Because then you’ll have freed up space in your brain to think critically about it.

2. Your characters have other ideas in mind.

As writers, we like to say that our characters act of their own accord, making their own decisions and sometimes ruining the things we had planned for them. Most people hear us talk like this and think we’re being pretentious, but it’s a sensation I have felt on many occasions so I know it’s real.

If you’ve never been in a dangerous situation before, it’s hard to imagine how you’ll respond when your back’s against the wall. In this way, it’s hard to predict how you’ll actually write something when the moment comes to actually write it. It has nothing to do with your characters taking over, but more to do with your actual words not matching what you visualized. The best way to explain this is with an example, so let me share one.

You have a scene where a character is in hiding, and he needs to jump out and attack the enemy. Great. You sit down to write it, and you have him crouched in his spot, assessing the scene before he jumps out. To add some suspense, you write that his heart is pounding. And then perhaps your own heart starts to pound as your imagination tries to visualize it. You notice that your breaths might pick up a bit, so you add that in. Before you know it, your character is exhibiting signs of fear. You didn’t exactly put that in your outline, did you? Of course not, because describing how a character feels in the moment is not important info in an outline. Now that your character is nervous and perhaps terrified, you have to find a way to convince him to jump out of that hiding spot; otherwise it won’t be believable. So you try adding another paragraph where he attempts to calm himself down and remember why he has to do this. Perhaps you succeed, or perhaps you find yourself unable to write a convincing argument. If he jumps out of this hiding spot and fails, what are the consequences? Would it be better to hold back a little longer and think through a Plan B just in case? Maybe the reward isn’t big enough to warrant such a risk, especially when his fear is so great.

Before you know it, the character has retreated, to think more deeply on the problem and hopefully come up with a better plan. It seems like they just took over your story, but instead what has happened is this: Often times, we don’t think about our character’s complex emotions and reactions during the outline phase. We just write that they do something. And it isn’t until we have to describe our character’s actions in detail that we realize that the words we’re actually writing don’t mesh well with what our outline intended.

This same phenomenon might occur during scenes of dialogue as well. You plan for a tense, dramatic argument, but the dialogue you end up writing isn’t quite making it there. Maybe Character A is meant to make a big accusation that really erupts the fight, but you’re having trouble getting to that point in the conversation. The words you’re typing don’t seem angry, and in trying to make them angry, it comes off as insincere and forced. So you come to the conclusion that your characters aren’t as angry as you thought, and instead they have a calm, sensitive conversation where they share their feelings. Again, it feels like they took over, but it’s more that your execution didn’t align with your plan, and you had to change the mood of the scene to make it believable.

3. Ideas aren’t the same as words.

An outline doesn’t force us to think about how we will word things. If it did, it wouldn’t be an outline - it’d just be the story. And because words are what create the story, you can’t possibly know for sure how something will play out until you begin to create the words.

  • Emotions might be more intense than you realized, to the point where they don’t support the actions you had planned.
  • Dialogue might come across as more or less offensive than you intended, and the character it’s directed at needs to respond in kind.
  • As you write a character thinking through a plan they’re about to execute, you might realize flaws in the plan that you didn’t consider during your outline, and to follow through with that plan anyway might make your character look stupid or thoughtless.

Sometimes you’ll execute an outline exactly as it’s written, and more power to you if you’re able to do that. But there are really two stages of story execution - the visualization and the reality. Visualization is your outline, and while it can help you achieve the reality stage faster, you can’t rely on the two to be completely the same. Because visualization is based on ideas, while reality is based on words. Words are more detailed, which results in more complexity. In putting your ideas into words, you discover flaws in your earlier logic. Ignoring that logic might mean your outline stays intact, but what does it do to your story?

Ultimately, these are my opinions about how this whole process works, and it may or may not apply to you. But when your story starts to deviate from the outline, try to just go with it and see what happens. As detailed as your outline might be, your story still has the potential to surprise you when you least expect it.

Make It Better

Characters: Gabriel x Reader
Words: 1160
Requested by @paolathedragonichuntress:  If you have time, could you please possibly write a Gabriel/Reader story where the reader is having a rough day and Gabriel uses his powers to cheer her up? It’s an idea I had that I thought might make a cute story. Hopefully you can find away to make it work! Thank you in advance of you write it.

“Hey, Sugar,” Gabriel’s voice didn’t even brighten your mood. That was unusual. He always made your day better.

You let out more of a groan than an actual greeting.

“What’s wrong?” Gabriel sat down on the bed next to you.

           “Bad day,” you grumbled.

           “That bad?” he asked.

You looked at him and felt the tears sting at your eyes, “Everyone was mad about something and they just took it out on me and I just wanted to go home.”

Gabriel scooped you up in his arms, “What can I do?” he asked.

“Just make it go away,” you said.

I am really asking myself if Thetomlisnon daily are for Louis or against Louis. I thinking they are not for Louis.

They know a Social Media company runs Louis’ account so their “outrage” is either an excuse to stop supporting him or it is coordinated with TPTB to turn people against Louis by claiming the Twitter like, then unlike is absolutely inexcusable behavior….the final straw…. the most outrageous thing @Louis could do.

When someone you care about does something that makes you feel uncomfortable, you let them know and try to educate them so they can do better., you don’t abandon them. We all make mistakes and hopefully we have kind friends that help us grow by teaching us we can be better.💐

Just found this laying around on my computer and figured I might as well post it. Someone in the tag talked about mute!Jason some time back and this happened.

The coffee shop wasn’t a bad place to work in, but Nico hated being the cashier. He much preferred pretty much any other jobs, because there were less jerks to deal with. Nico was bad at smiling when people were being stupid or intentionally difficult, or at all after an hour or two. However, Drew was a natural at it, no matter how much she talked behind the customers’ backs. Nico didn’t particularly like her, and Drew practically hated him, but they worked well together, switching things around so Nico always did the drinks and the cleaning and Drew handled the customers, no matter what the actual schedule said.

However, the one type of customer Nico handled a lot better than Drew was the type that were difficult without meaning to be. People with loud children, or really old people confused by the coffee choices, or the occasional disabled person. Nico had barely restrained himself from shouting at her when she tried to throw out an obviously blind guy because he brought his guide dog into the shop.

Summary: you have always thought that because Yoongi is that annoying and arrogant college kid, he would have no heart. but you came to learn so much more when being paired up with him for a project in sociology class.

a/n: thanks for requesting, anon. hopefully it was close enough to what you have wanted. if not, let me know and i’ll make it better for you ^_^

Two days into knowing Yoongi better when meeting him after school at his place, had definitely drew you both closer. Do you dare thank the project? Nah. You’re sure of it that you might have clashed with Yoongi somehow, since he was always out and about himself.

Nevertheless, hanging out with him at made you see the real Min Yoongi in whom you don’t understand why he doesn’t show at school.

He’s so dedicated with writing what he loves to spit, and shows a lot of passion into what’s being written. You thought maybe it’s because of the lonesome feels he has, but it isn’t.

From The Archive: Jennifer Lawrence On Hunger Games: Catching Fire
On flipping the bird at the Oscars and why Katniss is the unluckiest person in film…

Jennifer Lawrence is an interview goddess. More charming than you ever thought she could be, the Oscar winner was on very good form when Empire spoke to her in Cannes earlier this year. As The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits cinemas this week, we thought we’d run the extended interview first seen (in part) in the November 2013 issue of Empire. This time around, you’ll hear more about sandwiches, swearing and what to call an ear infection…

You’ve won an Oscar. What’s the plan next?
I don’t know… go into television? Or do something totally unexpected. I’ll start doing voiceovers for Animal Planet. No, but seriously now, that’s something I really want to do. (Laughs)

But after the awards is there a feeling that you’re better than this blockbuster malarkey now?
You know, it’s funny how much it doesn’t change things. When you think about it, it’s just a little statue. It’s really only… a positive thing. A really nice honour, a really lovely thing to say that you’ve done, and then you move on. You keep working!

Is the sequel going to be better than the original?
I don’t know… I have not seen it yet. (Laughs) Hopefully! It’s what you hope for from any sequel - that it’s as good, or better. Nobody wants worse. I just don’t know if it’s going to be better. I really hope so!

Did you pick up any injuries this time around?
In the first one I ran into a wall, but that was during training. Once we got into filming, there were no more bizarre injuries. In this one, I went deaf for a week, and yep, I’m still having ear problems, so that’s cool. My ear pretty much covers it. It was the star of the injury show on this last one.

What caused the ear problem?
First, I had to jump into stagnant water for a stunt, which caused a double ear infection. Then I had to jump into water jets, and one jet went into my ear, making a ‘PSHYOOOOOV!’ noise, which made me deaf for a week, but I didn’t go to the doctor because I’m a genius. So I eventually got my hearing back, and now I get this tearing noise every time I yawn. I really should go back to the doctor and ask them what that means. 'Tell me, is this normal?'&#157; I’m in pain. 24/7. Help me.

How is your hair handling the dying back and forth?
Not well. (Laughs) I knew I had to cut it short because I don’t like staying brunette - I keep having to touch it up because I am actually a blonde. So I knew I wanted to go blonde and I knew I had to go short because there’s really only so much hair can handle. It’s held up for a long time, so I’m very pleased.

What advice would you have given yourself, your younger self, before you started The Hunger Games?
(Laughs) I got something to say, but I can’t…

You know, I think I’m doing everything perfectly. I think I’ve just about nailed it. 100%. And also, I know me, and I know I wouldn’t have listened, because I had a lot of people tell me what to do before and I did not listen. I don’t think I would have made an exception, not even for myself. No-one can actually give you any advice. It’s one of those day by day, every situation is different things, so there’s no way you can really prepare for anything. It’s kind of like, 'Oh well, let’s strap in, see how it goes, hope for the best…’

How much do the photocalls actually feel like The Hunger Games?
It’s just a completely different animal, all that stuff. It’s really bizarre. I should say, it’s not that bad. I don’t know why everybody acts like it’s that torturous - you are just standing there with a lot of flashing lights, so it’s not as bad as it could be. It’s not as bad as when the photos actually come out. That’s like The Hunger Games.

The photo of you flipping the bird at the Oscars could be one of the best Oscar photos of all time.
It’s so funny how much I freaked out when I realised that happened. I told my publicist, saying, 'Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God…’ and now I am like, 'That’s probably my proudest moment in my entire career.’ (Laughs)

That moment really pointed out to me how whenever people talk about not having a filter… Just how much more in control my limbs and mouths are than my actual self. It’s shocking.

What are people saying to you on the street?
Generally… people are really nice. Sometimes someone will shout, 'You’re a dirty whore!’ But I think that would happen anyway. I guess I should probably dress better. (Laughs)

Where is Katniss right now?
Where is she right now? Are you insane? I have no idea. Maybe… 'sitting here’. Oh, you mean at the point of Catching Fire? Right, okay, sure.

After The Hunger Games, Katniss has moved into a house, she’s a Victor now, and she’s trying to get her life back together. She’s suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress and her life is very different now because she goes home to the people who she knows and they don’t really know her any more. There’s a certain side of her that really only Peeta knows at the point, and she’s always felt there’s a side of her that Gayle only really knows because of her history, and now her life is so different and she’s just trying to piece it together before she finds out she has to go back.

Have you admitted to anyone you haven’t read the books yet?
Ha! And I don’t know until the day I show up on set… 'This is the day you get brought back into The Hunger Games…’ And I’m like, 'Are. You. Kidding me? Again? What do I have, a brother?’

Do you have a favourite of Francis Lawrence’s music videos?
'I’m A Slave 4 U’, Britney Spears. He was making those music videos for me. They were for my generation. It’s really funny, most of the music videos that I’ve seen and loved are his.

Jenny From The Block…
I know, there are so many nicknames.

No, the music video, the song.
Oh God, I’m such a dick. I get called Jenny From The Block… I just presumed. You know people call me J-Lo, right? You didn’t thank about that, did ya?

Jimmy Fallon and I asked Jennifer Lopez to dance once and she said no. That was also because Jimmy pussied out at the last minute and I ended up… well, it was meant to be a choreographed thing, me saying 'Dance with us!’ and then I went and did it and it turned into 'Dance with… me!’ That probably did seem really weird. She was like 'I’ll watch.’ 'Okay…’

What’s your favourite sandwich?
Philly cheesesteak. But also an Italian, which is turkey and ham.

Do you feel like The Hunger Games, with two more years to go, is taking over your life for the forseeable future?
When I signed on to the franchise, I was so prepared. I said to myself, 'Well, you’ll have fun on the first one, and the next one you’ll be miserable and it’ll seem like it’s forever and you’ll get really bored…’ I was just prepared for that. But it hasn’t happened. I get really excited when I’m shooting. I was just doing ADR and I was so excited to get back to shoot 3 and 4, because I know everybody and we’re buddies, so it’s like going back to school. Except it’s more fun than school. Much more fun.

But I really do actually enjoy them. A lot. I do. I feel like it’s going home. Other jobs make me feel strange - 'I don’t know these people!’ - and then I go back to Hunger Games and I’m like, 'Okay…’

Is there a similar feeling to Days Of Future Past?
I just freaked out over Peter Dinklage. I lost my mind. I was like, 'That’s Tyrion Lannister!’ I’d imagine myself getting on my knees and saying, 'My liege…’ He’s The Angry Elf. He’s just everything. Yeah. I freaked out over him. Actually, everybody on set was freaking out. Hugh Jackman was sunbathing, I’m blue Mystique, and then Peter Dinklage walks by on a cellphone and everyone on set says, 'Oh my God, Tyrion Lannister is talking on a cellphone!’

Are you in the blue make-up a lot, or are they going to give you a break this time?
I am blue a lot. But I get little moments here and there. It’s great because it’s the perfect kind of shooting schedule. Everybody gets time off, which with The Hunger Games movies I am definitely not used to.

And what about David O. Russell, is there a similar with-the-gang feeling there?
It feels wonderful. I love him so much, and this last film was really amazing. He’s just so incredible when he gets his imagination going. I think it was even better the second time.

Do you have a favourite Hunger Games character name?
They are all very out there. There are times when I am travelling around and I’ll see signs, and I think, 'Ah, that’s probably where that came from.’ Or I’m in the doctor’s office, and I hear about a new disease. My ear infection is called 'Claudius Templesmith’.

Have you been showing the newcomers to the franchise the ropes?
No, I’m not a jerk. 'Okay you guys, follow my lead and you’ll be fine…’ No, everybody just got stuck in. Jeffrey Wright, Jenna Malone, Sam Claflin… everybody was so nice. They all moved in really quickly. As long as you’re nice, we like you.

And Josh and I really needed a break from each other, so bringing in new blood was good for us. It was getting unhealthy. I think now the ear infection may not have been from the water - it may have been from Josh talking in my ear too much.

Thank you very much for your time, Jenny From The Block.
I hope I gave you something useable. I’ve had way too much caffeine and I’m like, 'NYEEEEAR.’ I thought you were going to think I was on crack or something. Which I might be, if this is what that feels like.

KamiWasa’s Random Splatoon Tips Pt.1

Splatoon’s been out for almost a month and I’ve still been playing it pretty frequently. Its the kind of game where you can have fun whether youre a casual little kid or a fierce adult. Its also a game with a lot of strategical depth and you might not understand it all. You might go online and do really well all the time, or you might suck all the time! Either way wherever youre coming from playing this game, theres always something you can learn to help you play better. I decided to make a few little animations to help illustrate some tips I thought of that help me a lot when I’m playing. You may already know some of them, or all of them or none of them! Hopefully these will help some people. And if they do let me know and I’ll make more!

When you throw the Splat Bomb, the pyramid bomb from the first weapon you get, you may have noticed that it doesn’t explode right away. Theres a small time limit on it and it seems to be approx. 0.5 seconds or so. That time limit actually starts when it hits the ground. So if you want it to explode faster, you can actually just throw it straight at the ground. On top of that, you can throw it at a certain angle that will make the bomb quickly roll across the floor. The initial velocity of the bomb leaving the user is actually quite fast so you can get the bomb to go relatively far across the floor to splat unsuspecting foes.
Here’s how long it takes to explode just throwing it high up in the air:

And here’s approx. how long it takes to explode when throwing it right on the ground:

I don’t really jump that often cause usually when I do, theres an enemy waiting for me when I land that just quickly takes me out. But, if I have a bomb-type sub weapon, I can throw that bomb down when I land and usually take out whoever is waiting for me. And unless I’m 100% sure theres no enemies around when I’m about to land, I pretty much always just throw a bomb down anyway. You can shoot a little bit right before landing, but its nigh impossible to aim at an itty bitty target while moving so fast haha. Its very hard to avoid being splatted if someones waiting for you and theres no one around to back you up, so if youre gonna get splatted, you might as well take the enemy with you!

I love the Sprinkler. Even though it takes almost all of your ink, its great for covering spots while you take care of another spot. This works better in some stages than others, but I recommend throwing your Sprinkler onto a high up place, or a place thats not easy to shoot from ground level. Examples are in Urchin Underpass, you can throw it up on the speakers/screen thing hanging from the ceiling. And in Saltspray Rig in the middle of the stage where that platform is raised (I know thats kind of vague). Anyway, doing this will force the enemy to look up or look away from the action, giving you a big opening to splat!

The Chargers are kinda hard to use, ESPECIALLY the E-Liters. They take a moment to charge and they use ink suuuper fast. And if you’re familiar with most shooters, your instinct is to go find a hiding place and snipe everyone to death. PLEASE don’t do this. For one thing, you’ll get far less points than you possibly could playing like every other weapon. Even if you get lots of kills, you’ll notice the lack of points, I guarantee. And secondly, you will be splatted eventually unless you get your butt up and move after shooting for a while. Camping goes for every weapon; just don’t do it. You won’t get as many points.

Now, this doesn’t fully apply to Splat Zones. But it does somewhat since everyone will be coming back to the action mostly the same routes and they’ll remember where you were.
Anyway, what you should be doing with the charger is running around spraying parallel lines everywhere. Most of the stages are pretty angular in design and you can quickly cover the floor if you just shoot a wide line and then strafe to the side. Or you can pivot to shoot an array of lines from your position. Don’t even worry so much about getting kills honestly! Your team might expect it of you but in my experience if you just focus on covering ground, you’ll get a lot more points (this obviously goes for every weapon but sometimes its overlooked with chargers) And its not the easiest thing with a charger to take out an enemy who is right up in your face. The bottom line is just keep moving with the chargers and keep laying down the lines, for ground coverage and paths for your teammates

There we go! Just a few random tips I thought of that I guess I notice a lot of players not doing. I really hope these tips help you, or help you understand them better if you already knew them. And if you already knew all of these, share these with people you know that don’t really know them!

Also if these were at all helpful or you liked how I did these, let me know and if enough people liked these, I’ll make more! They were fun to do and I like helping people through visual aid. ORRR if you know of some tips that maybe you would like to see animated, let me know too!

5SOS BSM : You Think That He Doesn’t Care About You Anymore So You Go And Talk To Another Boy Part 3 (Requested)

Part 1

Part 2

Ashton: You sat alone with Luke once again, he was giving you a chance to play his guitar and was teaching you as you tried. “Still no luck with Ashton?” Luke asked after nearly an hour of silence between the two of you and you glared right at him. “We’re not going to talk about my brother, Lucas.” He chuckled and took the guitar from you, placing it behind him on the floor. Your outstretched arms were left hanging from the lack of a guitar and Luke just stared at you. “Ashton really does care about you, (YN), whether you can tell it or not. He’s just been going through a lot of….” “Don’t you even say anything about he’s going through a lot of stress because all four of you are and yet only three of you have time to talk to me. You the most i might add.” “Is there a reason for that?” he asked, smiling while biting at his lip ring. “I don’t know.” you say smirking back and he just shakes his head. “Have you wondered about any of that?” he asked and you cocked your head at him. “Explain.” “Ashton’s jealous.” Luke finally admitted. “Yeah you hung out with him a lot when you first got here, but you’ve also spent quite a bit of time with me. Ashton’s seeing you grow up, (YN), he’s happy he’s seeing it but at the same time he’s not liking what he’s seeing.” You shake your head. “He doesn’t like his sister getting close to one of his band mates.” “And his band mate getting close to his sister. Like i said (YN), he’s got it a bit rougher then the rest of us.”

Luke: “It’s been twenty minutes since you made Michael go upstairs so we could talk down here and so far, Luke, you’ve said absolutely nothing.” Luke took a step back from you and began pacing heavily across the wooden floor, repeatedly shaking his head before coming to a sudden stop and giving you a side glance. “Do you have any other questions for me?” You sat up. “You’re the one who needs to explain what’s going on Luke, just explain to me will you?” He sighed and sat on the floor where he stood. “Okay, first thing’s first, i really do care about you, you’re my twin sister, we’ve spent our whole lives together, we’re blood.” You nod, motioning for him to go on. “I’ve kept you out my life lately because i don’t want you to get in the middle of it all. I don’t want the fans to surround you every time you go to the mall with your friends, or go to school. Look the fans can be cruel and i don’t want you to go through any more hell just because your brother is what he is now.” You sigh. “Luke, what you’re doing is actually making it worse instead of better.” “I know, i’ve realized that. I’m sorry.” “I want to come with you from now on.” “I’m not pulling you from college, i know you want to go.” “Luke, i wanted to go into music producing. What’s a better way of learning it then actually experiencing it.” Luke smirked. “There you go.”

Calum: “It wasn’t a fan who said it, was it?” you asked Ashton when you appeared at the studio without your brother to get the word from his band mates, which meant, you were going to, hopefully, get the truth. Ashton looked around trying to find Calum and when he found your brother was nowhere near, he pulled you to the side. “No, it wasn’t.” “Who was it, Ashton? Must’ve been someone close to him for him to be taking it as bad as he is.” Ashton let go of your hand in which you didn’t notice he had grabbed until he let go of it. “Ashton? Who said it?” “(YN)…” his voice sounded pained and that made your curiosity peak. “It was you, wasn’t it?” you asked and he tried to walk away from you and was successful, leaving you to bump into a body, making you fall to the ground. “(YN)?” Shit. It was Calum. He helped you up and you had a hard time looking him in the eye. “You know, you could’ve just told me that it was Ashton who said i looked hot and all that. You didn’t have to lie, Calum, especially to me.” You finally met Calum’s stare and he stepped back from you. “I didn’t like the fact that one of my best friends had those kind of thoughts about my little sister and when i hear anything about Ashton and look at you, i see the same thing. However, you’re both afraid to admit it to each other but have no problem blabbing about it to everyone else. You want a good relationship with me again, (YN), how about you just try to be honest with me.”

Michael: Calum had driven you to where Michael supposedly waited for you. When you arrived and saw nothing outside or around, even Calum was confused and looked at his phone to make sure he had the address right. He did. “Calum, i thought you said Michael was supposed to be here to make things alright with his sister aka me.” Calum threw his hands in the air. “It’s what he said and here, look at my phone, it says so from him.” You practically ripped his phone from his hand and looked through the past messages and saw that this was in fact the place he talked to Calum about. “He even told me in person so we know this isn’t just some set up to get one or both of us killed.” You sighed and got back into the car next to Calum as he got into the drivers seat. Once back on the road, you began to cry softly and Calum pulled to the side of the road. “I’m sorry, i really thought that, i just really hoped that he was going to keep his promise this time.” You shook your head and wiped at your eyes. “It was no use, Calum, i knew tonight was going to be too good to be true. Let’s just head to your guys’ concert tonight and we’ll go from there, yeah?” Calum nodded and pulled back onto the road, headed for the venue where you met up with guards and got inside. Calum let you walk in front of him and when you both got in, you saw Michael making out with a random girl and you grabbed Calum’s arms. “Told you he didn’t care about me.”

feeling incredibly unmotivated to do my project lately so I’m going to make a list that will hopefully make me feel better:

- don’t give yourself a deadline, it’s a personal project and you can do it at your own pace and whenever you are comfortable.

- Know that you’ll get out of it a better, more efficient artist than when you first started

- Self doubt is your friend and your enemy. Use it to push you to do better things but don’t let it consume you and stop you from moving forward.

- You didn’t make as much progress as you’d like today, and that’s ok. Just don’t give up on it. Keep on trucking.

- Trust your instincts

- Don’t let people’s high expectations overwhelm you. Fulfill your own expectations in the project.

- Your friends are rooting for you.

- Eat chocolate

Jacksepticeye & The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Cold

I heard you got sick. Hopefully you feel better soon! (x)

So… I was completely overwhelmed by the response to my last Jacksepticeye picture. I wanted to do this sooner to thank everyone who followed me, liked, and reblogged my work, but I’ve actually been really sick. To make myself feel better and hopefully make @therealjacksepticeye feel better, I drew this! Thank you so much everyone! (If you see this Jack, you absolutely made my year when you reblogged my work. I was not expecting it, thank you so much.)

An email.

I got an email today from a reader that I’d like to share and answer.

She was writing to ask about my weight gain and told me that she struggles with the same thing.

These are all important questions to ask and equally important questions to hold on to moving forward.

To start with the easiest question: How did it happen? I’ve written many times about my disordered eating lifestyle. I wouldn’t call it a food addiction or eating addiction. It’s just a distinct lack of control or care when it comes to eating. If there’s food, I will consume it. To paraphrase the late, great Leo McGarry:

“I don’t have one slice of pizza. I don’t understand people who have one slice of pizza. I don’t understand people who leave half a plate of nachos at the dinner table. I don’t understand people who say they’ve had enough. How could you not want to feel like this longer?”

And it can go quick.

Just last summer I was in a good place; I was running and eating right. I was steady losing weight, feeling good, and looking better. And now here I am just seven months later with 50 extra pounds to show for it.

I imagine it’s the same for addictions of all sorts. I’ve never been addicted to smoking or boozed it up to the point of destruction but I suspect that if you battle those diseases it doesn’t matter how long your sobriety lasts, when it goes bad it goes bad quickly. My disease is just one of many that can and will fuck you up if you let it. And in the last three years I’ve definitely allowed it to.

Does it get easier? Yes and no. The good news is that, when it’s going good, it will undeniably be easier. Once you hit a groove you can go far. It gets easier and easier every day. Better, too. Everything is better.

When it’s bad, and hopefully it won’t go bad, it will be harder. Your seat belt won’t stretch around your body or you’ll lose your breath walking the dog around the block and you’ll have to fight back tears. Tears of frustration and tears of sadness. Frustration from knowing you have no one to blame but yourself and sadness because deep down you truly believe you just can’t help yourself. You’re too far gone. When you do help yourself, though, it makes the pain worth it.

Will we ever be normal? No. At least I won’t be. I will always have to be vigilant. I can get to a normal place. A normal appearance. I can exude normal. But inside? Inside I’ll always want to push too far.

The thing that will set us apart, though, is the fact that no matter how shitty it gets, we’ll always come back to mirror and decide to do better. I’m not sad about where I am, I’m excited about the challenge. It doesn’t matter how we got to this place; we’re here and we have to deal with it.
