To all the girls waiting for the right guy

Girl, I know it’s hard to wait. I know it’s so hard to face rejection after rejection, the fear of never finding the right guy. But the right guy is worth waiting for. Stop settling for guys who don’t wholeheartedly follow Jesus. Stop dating guys who are “good” but do not follow Jesus, who do not bring you closer to Him.

If a guy doesn’t follow Jesus, he cannot love you right.

He can treat you great but if he has no desire to grow closer to Jesus, he won’t be good to you in the long run. If he doesn’t believe in Jesus, you should not be dating him at all. Yes, he might be okay with you being a believer but if he is not, he will not be able to encourage you or challenge your or call you out when you sin. He might be okay with your faith now but he will also be okay with your sin. You don’t want that. You want someone who challenges you to correct your ways. Someone who reads the Bible with you, grows closer to Jesus with you and prays with and for you.

If you find yourself saying “I know he’s not (perfect/patient/humble/faithful/growing closer to Jesus) right now but it will get better” – please, don’t believe yourself. You are worth more than that. You are worthy of a guy who honors you and respects you above all else. You are worthy of a guy who will challenge himself to become better so that he can love you right right now, not in the future.

Because you will do just the same for the right guy. You will see your flaws and you will want to grow, become better so that you will love him rightly. You will give him your heart, your time, your everything – just to be with him and to make him happy.

You were not created to be married, you were created to honor Jesus and to fellowship with Him. Girl, singleness is not a curse. You are not single because God doesn’t love your or because He is punishing you. So it might be that it will take weeks, months or years before the right guy comes along – because God wants to use you as you are right now for His glory. Don’t rush the process. See what God has for you in this season of singleness and make the most of serving Him, as you have freedom with your life right now. You can do amazing things, and you do not need a guy to do all that.

my advice for the signs

aries I know a watched pot never boils, but it’s good to wait for the right moment. Sometimes, the second mouse gets the cheese.

taurus Not everything goes smoothly in life. It’s not sugar spice and everything nice all the time. Stop being agonized everytime things get ugly.

gemini Set your priorities straight. It’s crucial to understand what’s important and what’s not. Expectations of others shouldn’t cage you.

cancer  Save everything for the person who deserves. ‘Right now’ is all you have. Don’t let the past haunt you. Nostalgias are tricky.

leo “Reputation is what men and women think of us, character is what god and angels see of us” It’s fine to feel down sometimes. You can’t see the world through rose colored glass all the time.

virgo You will come to regret the things you never did, not the things you have done. Sometimes the world may seem  unfair, disorganized, chaotic, godforsaken even. But trust me, everything will turn out just fine. When you think about it, everything is actually connected.

libra Develop some individuality. Spend time with yourself.  I know it’s difficult to tell if you’re fighting for something you deserve or just forcing something, but the only way to find out is to see the end of it. Don’t give up so easily.

scorpio Except for karma, nothing’s ever eternal. Pleasure, pain, power, the things we hold onto so tight… All things end. And no, no revenge or pay back is worth your time.

sagittarius  Always think twice. Because what we think we got under control always seems to have control of us. And don’t forget that all things have it’s consequences.

capricorn The simplest things can show the meaning of life. You’re so busy working hard for a good life but good life is enjoying the little things.

aquarius Learn to return the love you recieve. Don’t be an outsider. It’s ok to feel lonely sometimes. People don’t understand but you’re not alone.

pisces Just know that not every single person in this world is as kind as you. Some will chew you up and spit you out. You don’t have to care about everyone. You will inevitably have to ignore some. That’s not insensitive.

Prompt: shiro and Lance catching each other sneaking of the rooms of their respective boos.

Shiro pressed a soft, final kiss to Allura’s cheek, and he smiled at the way she scrunched up her nose before falling back to sleep. The missions and duties of Voltron aside, these late night rendezvous were exhausting for the both of them; as much as he wished he could, however, Shiro couldn’t sleep in the princess’ chambers – not when he knew that her loyal advisor would arrive at the crack of the day cycle to wake her. With the assistance of the dimmed lights and a few helpful squeaks from the mice, he padded his way over to the doors and slipped silently into the hall.

As the door slid closed with a hydraulic hiss, Shiro allowed himself a moment to press his forehead against the metal and heave a weary sigh.

Shiro whipped around at the voice, shocked to find himself not as alone as he had assumed. A wide-eyed Lance stood slack-jawed, his finger pointing accusingly at Shiro’s chest. “What are you doing awake at this hour?” Shiro asked, internally begging that he came off as stern and commanding instead of panicky and oh my god what did he see.

“Is that Allura’s room?!” Lance squeaked. Shiro shushed him quickly, eyes darting to the door they were both parked outside. “That’s Allura’s room!” Lance whisper-yelled. “What were you doing in Allura’s room?!”

“Why are you out here?” Shiro returned, finally getting a good look at the teenager in the low light. “Is that Keith’s shirt?”

“Is that a hickey?!”

Shiro slapped a hand quickly over the telltale mark with a scandalized gasp. “Go to your room!” He hissed, knowing his face was turning the same shade as a tomato.

“You’re not my-”

“At the moment, yes, I am your dad, now go to your room this instant!” Shiro managed between clenched teeth. Lance huffed and spun on his heel, scurrying down the corridor without a backwards glance. Shiro slumped against the wall with a groan.

Breakfast was going to be miserable.

‪In honor of my friends graduating from THE North Carolina Central University School of Law tomorrow, I had to give them a special shoutout. They took me in when I moved to North Carolina and did not know anyone. Even though these last two years have flown by, I thank God for them everyday. They have been there for every high and every low. Even though they’ll probably never see this, I just want y'all to see Black Excellence in the making and how proud I am of them.

To the Crew, congratulations on your accomplishments. I wish you only the best. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you. Love you babies 😘😘🙌🏾

I can’t wait to have an amazing career, marry my truest friend, travel and experience life with that person and raising the sweetest little babes who love Jesus and watch them grow into success. Being able to help and support my husband and family in all areas of life. Be the best Christ-following woman, wife, mother God is calling me to be. But most importantly I can’t wait to see what god will be doing in my life to prepare me for my future.

I am loving this Entrusted study, y'all. Only two weeks left now. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I can apply all that I’ve learned while studying 2 Timothy to my life and I’m just so excited to see what God has in store for me.

Are you reading any good studies/books/devotionals? Let me know! I’ll be looking for a new one to begin soon. 📖🙌🏼

And the very hairs on your head are all numbered… - Luke 12:7

Even the most loving and well meaning people in your life don’t know you the way God knows you. There are certainly people God uses to speak into our lives, but at the beginning and end of everyday, what God sees in you is still beyond what any human can see in you.

The reason this is so important is because we often get discouraged when others don’t “get” us. Maybe you’ve felt misunderstood by family members and loved ones. Perhaps you interviewed with a company, but no matter how much passion and skill you exhibited, they seemed to look right through you. Maybe you were in a relationship with someone who only cared about what you could offer physically or emotionally, but wasn’t interested in respecting what God was doing in your life.

No matter how many of these kind of experiences you’ve had, remember that if God is truly going to be first in your life, you must consider His thoughts about you first. You must look to Him for affirmation and assurance before you look anywhere else. This is what will help you remain secure when you’ve been disrespected, looked over, or ignored. Of course, in a perfect world, people would be understanding of one another and you would never have to deal with this, but we don’t live in a perfect world. However, God’s’ perfect love is still powerful enough to cover every ounce of imperfection on this earth.

God “gets” you. He “gets” every other person on this earth. He even understands the people who don’t understand you. He even knows why they don’t understand you and He’s working in their lives in ways that you can’t even understand. That’s how deep God’s love goes.

So you can talk to Him about everything. Talk to Him about every single thing that other people don’t seem to understand about you because He does. If you’re struggling with trusting Him in this, the best way to deal with it is still, to talk to Him! So don’t get so worried about who’s not getting you or what you’re going through. Other people can be very valuable in our lives, but God still knows all and is still in full control!

When’s The Wedding? / Conor Maynard

Request:  Can you do a conor imagine where he goes to the readers annual family dinner and they’re being really cute in private and their family tease them?

“Conor, babe, are you almost ready?” You asked, looking at your reflection on your full-length mirror.

“What shirt?” He asked, walking back into your shared bedroom.

You looked at the two shirts on his hands and pointed at the white one. He put it on quickly and you helped with the buttons, kissing his lips softly once you were finished.

“You really don’t have to go, you can go out with the boys.” You smiled.

“I missed it last year, they’re going to think I’m a bad boyfriend if I don’t go to this one.”

“They wouldn’t.”

“You look gorgeous, by the way.” He said as you were applying perfume to yourself.

You smiled at him through the mirror. “So do you. Do you have everything ready? Remember we’re staying at my parent’s for two days.”

“Yep, I know. Everything’s in the car, don’t worry.” He said, as you both started walking towards your front door. “Do you want me to drive?”

You nodded. “Please.”

Three hours later, you were entering your hometown, memories flooding your mind as you drove through the streets you had walked along thousands of times, for years. You didn’t get to go back as much as you wanted because you and Conor seemed to always be too busy, but once a year, you left a few days free of any activity for one special thing: the annual dinner. You never missed one and you weren’t planning on doing it any time soon, either.

It was something you had done your whole life, and even though some people may find it a bit tedious to sit at a table with your whole family, you absolutely loved it. You were always close to your family, even though it was a big one, you were all close and loved each other. There just was something about that night that always felt special, maybe it was your grandparents seeing all their sons, daughters and grandchildren all together or being able to see how everyone is building their lives year by year.

Two years ago, you decided to invite your boyfriend, Conor, to one and loved seeing him getting on so well with your family, it was like he became a part of it that night. Last year though, unluckily he couldn’t go because he was in America but to your surprise, everybody asked why he hadn’t come and the thought of your family caring so much for him warmed your heart. You were glad they loved him so much, because even from the start of your relationship, you knew you were going to fall for him, hard. And you did. You both did.

“Babe, we’re here.” Conor said as he parked the car, snapping you out of your thoughts. “Are you okay?” He asked, turning to you a bit.

“Yes.” You smiled. “Let’s go, I wanna see everyone already.” You said excitedly, making him chuckle.

“Well go on, I’m gonna get our things.” He kissed your cheek.

You got out of the car, running towards your parent’s house front door, knocking on it loudly out of pure excitement. Your mum was quick to open it and engulfing you in a tight hug and when she let go, you were quickly wrapped in your dad’s arms.

“How are you?” You asked them, letting go of your dad.

“We’re good, and you? Where’s Conor?” Your mum asked, her face radiating happiness.

“I’m here!” He answered, going to hug your mum and shaking hands with your dad.

“We’re good, too.” You smiled, as Conor placed his hand on your back.

“Well, come on. Everybody’s in the back.” Your dad said, and you nodded.

“We’re just gonna get our stuff to my room, first.”

Grabbing one of the bags Conor left on the floor by his feet, you started walking up the stairs, him following close behind. Once in your room you left the things on the bed and turned to look at him, a smile on your face as you caught him looking at himself in your old mirror. You walked to him and hugged him from behind, going on your tip toes to let your head rest on his shoulder so you could watch him through the mirror.

“Are you sure I look fine?” He asked. “Like, it’s stupid that I’m a bit worried because I already know them but, I don’t know.”

“You worry because you care, it’s okay.” You kissed his shoulder before standing in front of him. “You look fantastic, babe. Really, really handsome.” You pecked his lips.

Lacing your fingers with his you walked to the back yard, where your whole family cheered to say hi when they saw you two, and after greeting everyone and catching up a little bit with your cousins, you and Conor sat down at a little table with some of your uncles and aunts.

You smiled, watching Conor talk with your uncle about god knows what, seeing how he would listen carefully to what he was saying before answering with a smile or laughing, and even though he was almost turned all the way towards your uncle, his hand was on your thigh, his thumb drawing invisible shapes on it every now and then.

“That, right in your eyes, is a look of pure love, dear.” Your aunt said, leaning in to say it to your ear.

“Sometimes I just look at him and just think about how much I love him, is that weird?” You asked, making her laugh as she shook her head lightly.

“Not at all, sweetie. Happens to me all the time.” She smiled. “It’s like on a daily basis you don’t think of how much you love him and then when you realize is like, wow, I love this guy way more than I thought.”

“Exactly.” You laughed.

“Everyone, dinner’s ready!” Your mum yelled, taking some plates to the dinner table in the middle of the garden.

It took you all a few minutes to settle down, you were quite a few people and sitting almost seven children down for more than five seconds was quite the challenge, but somehow you managed to do it, and started eating.

“Do you want some of this, Rosie?” You heard Conor say, and you looked at him, only to find that your four year old niece was sitting comfortably in his lap.

“Yes, please.” She nodded.

“Rosie, come here, let Conor eat.” Your brother said.

“Oh, no. It’s okay, she isn’t bothering at all.” He answered quickly, making you smile.

“So Y/N, Conor, when’s the wedding?” Your other brother asked.

“What wedding?” You asked, confused.

“Yours, of course.” He answered and you blushed.

“Oh, I can just imagine my little girl walking down the aisle in a white dress, you’d look so beautiful. You’d make a gorgeous bride, honey?” Your mum said dreamily.

“Mum, please!” You said, not daring to look at Conor. “It’s too soon.”

“I proposed to your grandma after less than a year together, sweetheart. It’s love, it’s never too soon.” Your grandpa said, smiling. “Besides, I want to be there on your wedding day, and dance with you.”

You smiled and looked at Conor, who was smiling. He looked at you and you mouthed ‘sorry’ to him but he just shook his head and squeezed your hand a bit, letting you know it was okay.

“Yeah man, you just gotta pop the question.” Your brother said, looking at Conor.

You were sure you were as red as a tomato, how could you not be? You never really talked about the future with Conor, only once, and even though you were sure that you wanted to be with him for as long as you could, you didn’t know what he thought, so when he answered your brother you were surprised, his words making you melt inside completely.

“I will do it,” He smiled “I’m just having a hard time picking the ring.” He finished.

Hours later, you were both changing onto your pajamas, ready to go to bed. And even though you were tired, your mind was racing, his words playing over and over in your head. You brushed your teeth and got into bed, your head finding its usual place on Conor’s bare chest.

“Is it true?” You asked. “That you’re trying to pick a ring?” He hummed.

“I wouldn’t lie to your family.” He smiled. “I know I’m not supposed to tell you, but the words just flew out of my mouth.”

“Do you really want to spend the rest of my life with me?” You asked in awe.

“Can’t see myself with anyone else.” He kissed the top of your head. “Do you?”

“Of course.” You smiled. “Wait, this isn’t you proposing, right?” He laughed.

“No, I want it to be more special and something we won’t forget. I’m not gonna tell you when I plan on doing it.” You nodded. “So, we’re gonna get married, have an amazing honeymoon, have amazing sex,” You laughed “ have kids in a few years and grow old together, doesn’t sound bad, huh?”

“Not at all.” You kissed him. “Specially not the sex part.”

“Hmm, I know you would like that part, baby.” He smiled.

I love how the lyrics of every song in DAMN. are connected:

The heavy, gut-wrenching grunt echoes in your ear as the man on top of you (James, Jack, something starting with a J) rocks his hips slowly, his less-than-average cock slipping almost too easily inside you on every stroke.

You picked him up in a bar a while ago after listening to him drone on and on about how he was a successful businessman who ran his own international business company. Foolishly thinking with money and power must come good sex, you took him up on his offer and followed him back to his motel room. Sadly, you realize that what came with the expensive suit and shiny Italian shoes came nothing but an over-the-top ego and very little in way of sexual prowess.

“Teena! How are you? We missed you and those delicious lemon bars this afternoon.”

“Hello, Beverly, I always hate to miss the game, how did it go?”

“Oh, it went. I’m telling you, Teena, I know I am being a selfish ninny, but I absolutely dread your monthly lunch dates with Fox.”

“Oh, Bev, quit being so dramatic, it’s not becoming. And besides, Susan can’t possibly be as bad as you let on.”

“You have no idea. Susan Thomas is by far the absolute worst bridge partner I have ever had! And you heard about her son didn’t you?”

“Beverly, I don’t think–”

“I mean, the secretary? How cliche. I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news. And his wife! Oh, I just don’t understand how he could do that to her. She is absolutely gorgeous and you know she comes from old money. She’s good breeding, that one. But you know those Thomases, never happy with anything. Oh, and those poor kids.”

“Beverly, I really–”

“You know his wife is the one that found them, right? Walked right in on that secretary on her knees in the center of his corner office. The little slut didn’t even have the decency to stop suck–”

“Teena, my God! What’s gotten into you?”

“Nothing. It’s nothing, I just don’t find this topic to be appropriate for conversation, that’s all.”

“Since when? Teena? Teena, are you there?”

“Yes. I’m here.”

“Since when do we not discuss the goings on of this island? And don’t pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about.”

“Look, I don’t want to spend anymore time discussing the sexual exploits of people’s children. Hello? Beverly?”

“…Teena…what happened today?”

“I don’t know what you mean.”

“What happened when you went to see Fox today?”

“I– Well, I should have called. I’m really the one at fault here. I assumed Fox remembered that I was coming over and he apparently forgot, so really, it’s my fault and I have no reason to be upset. I’m not. I’m not upset. He’s an adult, he can do as he pleases, I just…I never thought I would have to witness…that.”

“My God, what did you see?”

“Beverly, I would thank you to keep the blatant enthusiasm out of your voice.”

“I’m sorry, Teena, I don’t mean–I’m not looking for gossip, I swear.”

“I’m sorry. I just–That’s my son. My child. And no mother should ever have to see their son in bed with someone.”

“Oh, Teena, I’m so sorry! Was it horribly awkward?”

“Well, yes, at least for me. I think Fox thinks he got away with something.”

“How do you mean?”

“I had let myself into his apartment when he didn’t answer my knock. I figured he was just in the shower. I was putting my things on the coffee table when I heard it.”

“Heard what? …Teena?”

“A moan. I thought he had hurt himself so I made my way to his bedroom. He must have heard me approaching because when I arrived at his door, he was in bed, seemingly alone, although there was a large mound under the covers. I suppose he thought I would think they were pillows, but I knew better.”

“But, Teena, are you sure? I mean maybe we was, you know, alone when you heard that moan.”

“Oh, Beverly, honestly.”

“What? Grown men do it too, especially single ones.”

‘Well, I know he wasn’t alone and I even know who he was with.”

“What? How? Who?”

“Well, I wasn’t going to go into detail because I didn’t want to be tacky, but before he could pull the covers up I saw… I saw-”

“I could have sworn I saw red hair, bobbing away like a little harlot in his lap!”

“No! You don’t mean–”

“Yes! That horrible little red-headed vixen! I always knew that partner of his had a thing for Fox. It was a matter of time before she got her hooks in him.”

“Oh, Teena, I am sorry you had to see that!”

“Oh Beverly, you have no idea. Fox clearly thinks I didn’t see anything and I certainly don’t plan on changing that. I just wish he would come to his senses. You know who I miss? Who I wish he would see again?”

“Who’s that, dear?”

“Diana. Do you remember her?”

“Oh yes, Diana Fowley! You know she comes from old money too. Good breeding, that one.”

One sad thing, one happy thing - seems good to me!

Side note why must I always torture Lance

“Hey, look at me. I’m right here. I won’t— I’ll never leave.” Keith cradled Lance’s face in his hands so gently he might have been holding the most precious and delicate glass sculpture in the world, terrified of the slightest pressure cracking it or shattering it all together. His palms cupped his jaw, thumbs brushing lightly against his cheekbones. “I’m going to stay with you, you hear?” His voice cracked on a sob, and he swallowed, desperate to sound calm. “I am going to stay with you until we’re both old and gray and the Galra Empire hasn’t existed for years and years and years and we’ve retired peacefully back on Earth. I am going to stay by your side so long you’ll get utterly sick of me. I am going to stay by your side until I have memorized every single line and curve of your face and I could draw it in my sleep.” Lance watched him, tears streaking down his face.

“Why, though?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. “You don’t need me. No one needs me.” He glanced sideways, to where the wormhole glowed, a gaping hole in space, beckoning him. “I’m the best one to do this and you know it. Now that we got Shiro back, you can go back to piloting Red, and Allura should stay with Blue. There’s no place for me in Voltron anymore.” Lance breathed in sharply, looking up, tilting his head as if trying to force the tears back in. “This is the best way to take out Lotor. Let me be useful just this once.”

“Would you shut up about being useful?” Keith shouted, his hands tightening on Lance’s face. Lance knocked his hands away, suddenly angry.

“Why? That’s what I’ve heard all my life. Useless, useless, useless. Useless as a pilot, useless as a teammate, I’m even useless at being a big brother since I disappeared off the face of the Earth without a word to my family. I’m use—” His words were cut off as Keith grabbed his shoulders, pulled him close, and pressed his lips to Lance’s in a kiss. Lance jumped back, staring, breathing hard.

“I don’t give a fuck,” Keith said. “Lance, you’re the first person who’s made me want to stay anywhere. So please, please— Can you please stay for me?” Lance stared at him, wide-eyed, and slowly came back closer, took Keith’s hand, and kissed him, long, soft, and gently. Keith melted under the kiss, the feel of Lance’s lips on his undoing knots of tension in his chest that had been there for years. His eyes slipped closed, his hand caught Lance’s hip, trying to pull him closer – but instead, Lance whispered, “I’m sorry,” and slipped away. When Keith’s eyes flew open, he was already gone.

“Marinette, I’m not going to lie. I really hate this movie.” Marinette groaned and buried her face in her hands, bent all the way down to her knees.

“I know, it’s awful,” she groaned. “I’m so sorry, Adrien, this was a choirrible hoice— I mean, a chorrice hibble— I mean a horrible choice,” she stuttered, getting redder with every flubbed word. Adrien reached out and patted her awkwardly on the shoulder.

“Hey, everyone was raving about it, you couldn’t have known,” he whispered. He laughed under his breath. “I’m just relieved you hate it too,” he said. Someone in the row behind them shushed him. He glanced around, and then leaned down closer to whisper, “Do you want to just… walk out?” he asked. Marinette gave a tiny nod. He grabbed her elbow and pulled her gently to her feet. The two of them shuffled out of their seats and hurried up the dark aisle of the cinema and out into the atrium, past a bored-looking ticket vendor, and out into the sunlight, where they both squinted and gasped in relief.

“Oh my God, what does everyone see in that film?” Adrien asked. “We spent like four scenes watching her complain about her boyfriend only to immediately dismiss all of her concerns because he texted her a heart. That was so dumb, what does everyone see in it?”

“I know!” Marinette exclaimed. “And the guy – what on Earth was he wearing? That looked like the 80s ate a renaissance jacket, spat it back out, and paired it with jeans and shoes that haven’t been popular since 2002.”

“Père would probably have me killed before letting me be seen in an outfit like that,” Adrien laughed.

“Oh, oh, and the friend whose name I can’t remember, who said the same three lines of dialogue every time she came on screen?”

“Yes that actress looked like she was saying her lines in her sleep!” Adrien agreed. “I mean, she could have – her friend always came to her with the same exact problem every time. Their conversations were so predictable she should have just set up a robot to give preprogrammed responses. So maybe it was an accurate characterization by the actress.” Marinette laughed loudly, covering her mouth with her hand, and grinned up at Adrien.

“At least we get to mock it with each other,” she said shyly. Adrien’s fingers hesitantly found and caught Marinette’s.

“Hey,” he said. “You know, the nice thing about this is, the Gorilla isn’t expecting to pick me up for another hour. As long as we’re back here by then, would you like to just take a bit of a walk together?” Marinette went red to her ears.

“Y-y-yes!” she said. “I’d love that, Adrien!” Adrien smiled.

“Thanks for inviting me to a terrible movie, Mari,” he said.

Had he just given her a nickname? Marinette thought the world had fallen away from underneath her feet, leaving her to soar out into the sky.

This is something people must ask themselves every single day, sometimes even multiple times during the day. The answer isn’t always one we’re going to like. We know we need to be acceptable in God’s eyes, but we want to be acceptable in the world’s eyes.

It’s hard. It’s hard to try to love a life acceptable to a person you can’t see when there’s people you can see that are hating on you for it. Sometimes, it feels like it’ll be easier to just do what the world wants you to do and hope God understands. It’s hard, I know. Don’t get angry at yourself for struggling with this, it is hard.

But every time you lose the approval of a person, remember that God sees that. God sees what you’re going through and God will get you through it. Not only that, but God will repay you. It’s hard. But keep going, it’s worth it. God’s got you.

Sometimes I look at people who don’t see their worth in Christ, and I just think about how God actually breathed life into dust, making something wonderful out of something worthless. All of creation, God has been bringing value to the valueless, hope to the hopeless, and life into the lifeless. Don’t you dare look at yourself and deny what God sees you as, because to Him, you are the very air in His lungs giving Him life; He died and rose again, so that you may be with Him forever.

Come now, sons and daughters, to the place that God has made for you; because He is not simply telling you to not sin, He is calling you home.

All About Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s Courtship: Road Trips, Hiking and Hunting!
As the newest member of her mega family to be courting, Joy-Anna Duggar is making the most of every minute with Austin Forsyth

“We’ve gotten to experience so much already in our relationship,” Joy-Anna, 19, says in the latest issue of PEOPLE. “Lots of church ministries, road trips, hiking, hunting and remodeling houses together.”

Duggar and Forsyth announced they were courting in November, but they first met more than 15 years ago when his family moved to Arkansas and started attending the Duggars’ church. “It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” says Joy-Anna.

And since three of her sisters — Jill, Jessa and Jinger — have already been through the courtship process (the Duggars’ extremely conservative version of dating, which bans kissing until marriage and generally limits physical contact to “side-hugs”), she’s getting plenty of advice.

“Watching my sisters go through that with their courtships sets a really good example,” says the Counting On star. “I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special. Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing. As for whether she’ll be walking down the aisle anytime soon?

“I’m not sure when the next step will come,” she admits. “You would have to ask Austin what he’s thinking and my dad, but I’m excited to see what God has in store for us in the next year.”

How would I know what cabin I'm in? My birthday is June 17, 1999

Hi! Well, your godly parent is actually kind of hard to figure out, seeing as it is decided by who your parent is and - well, we can’t choose our parents. Deciding what cabin fits you best isn’t as easy as figuring out your Hogwarts house or your Faction. It’s neither a decision nor a simple test you have to take. Opposed to those, your cabin is linked to your genes and not just your personality.

I think the best way to pick a cabin to be loyal to is by seeing what god you feel like you have the greatest connection with. Nevertheless your personality, appearance, hobbies, etc can still play a part though. It is said that the immortal DNA of demigods doesn’t count (which is why cabins like the Hermes cabin and Athena cabin can still date and reproduce, even though theoretically they’re cousins), but they can still look like their immortal parent and or share treats with them like Percy and Will.

For example, if you like music and tan really easily, you could be a child of Apollo or if you have a green thumb and love cereal, your mother might be Demeter. However, there are gods for whom this is more difficult, like Hades and all the other gods and goddesses of the underworld. I think for those you need to try the connection part I talked about earlier or try and match your personality to theirs (keep in mind though that the personality of children and their parents can differ drastically and that most of your personality is decided by how you were raised - which is by your mortal parent).

This definitely turned out way longer than I was expecting, but I hope it was helpful nonetheless. Please remember that this is my own personal opinion and if you have a different idea over this please send a message as I too would like to know more about this subject and how you all think about this.

Have a nice day!
