how to drink ya water! 💦

okay so I know y'all always hear everybody talking about “DRINK WATER!” but not everybody really likes water, in fact, I actually hated water when I first started to make an effort to drink more. Soooo, I decided to give y'all some ways to spice up your water to make sure you get at least 64 oz. a day. Some can add benefits to your water and some are just for taste and some for both. 👌🏾

1. Fruit Infused 🍉🍒🍋
fruit infused water can have a lot of benefits depending on what fruit you use but usually my main reason to drink fruit water is because of taste. A few fruits I like are:
- lemon
- watermelon
- raspberry
- cucumber
- coconut

2. Stay Fresh 🌿🍃
add fresh herbs:
- basil
- lavender
- mint
- rosemary

3. Make Tea 🍵☕️
making tea is my favorite way to jazz up my water. try to stay away from teas with a lot of caffeine like black or oolong. instead go for green, white, or herbal teas. also try to keep it unsweetened but if that’s not possible use a natural sweetener like honey, stevia, or agave nectar (I suggest honey). A few teas I like are:
- Rituals Orange Jasmine Green Tea
- Bigelow Green Tea
- Celestial Sleepytime Vanilla Herbal Tea
- almost any herbal tea

4. Make it HOT! 🔥🌶
try adding a spice to you water. I like cinnamon water or cinnamon tea. Some benefits you receive from it are reducing your waste line and reducing cravings. other spices you could probably use are:
- ginger
- turmeric
- cayenne

5. Get Juicy 💦😏
(I really wanted to write that 😂) try adding some type of juice likeee:
- lemon juice
- cranberry juice
- apple cider vinegar

6. Honey Water 🍯🐝
okay so this is best just with warm water in the morning but personally I’ve had it just like throughout the day but I don’t know if that hurts anything. It’s great for a sore throat!

7. Rose Water 🌹❣
so this one is basically just if you’re feeling fancy. I actually haven’t tried this before but I’m sure it’s great!

1. Always have a water bottle in your car

2. Carry an extra lighter (even if you don’t smoke)

3. Get something new where you go to eat often, not just your usual.

4. Make a budget for yourself

5. But don’t forget to give yourself some play money and always round up on how much things cost so you have money left over

6. If you’re texting someone, but nervous to send it, just click the fucking send button. You typed that shit out for a reason.

7. Stay out late. Wake up early. You’ll be glad you had all of your day.

8. If something makes you laugh until your sides hurt, write it down in the notes in your phone, you’ll want to remember that later.

9. When you’re talking to someone, and you suddenly think of something you want to say, put up a finger and wait for them to finish talking. It’ll help you remember what you wanted to say, but you won’t interrupt them.

10. Go to plenty of concerts. Especially outdoor ones. Get drunk with your friends, but not sloppy drunk. Just drunk enough to scream your favorite songs and dance without feeling embarrassed.

11. Even though the best present is someone’s presence, it’s still always nice giving or receiving an actual gift.

12. Always keep a change of clothes in your car. Including a pair of shoes. You never know.

13. Keep at least $20 cash on you at all times. Gas is usually cheaper when you pay with cash, and not everywhere you go to eat splits checks.

14. It’s okay to be sad, but try not to forget about what makes you happy.

15. Coupons are always fantastic.

16. If you think something is cute, fucking wear it. Don’t worry about what everyone else thinks. You’ll look great, I promise.

17. Sex stores are fun, even if you just want a good laugh.

18. Plan out your days off with your friends, that way you aren’t stuck around asking the “I don’t know what do you wanna do”

19. Don’t forget to remind your friends how much they mean to you.

20. If someone gives you a compliment, smile and say thank you. They wouldn’t say it, if they didn’t mean it.

21. Drink plenty of water. Not only does it keep you hydrated, but clears your skin.

22. I know you might want to be tan, but is it really worth being burnt and exposing yourself to all that skin cancer bull shit? No. Use at least SPF 15. It’s not that hard and you’ll still tan. So stop being a brat.

23. You’re allowed to be happy. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

24. Aim to be better, not bitter.

25. Some days are better than others.

26. You can never over pack. Pack what you want. You’ll be glad you have options to choose from.

27. Take those extra hours at work. It’ll be worth it when you see your paycheck.

28. Clean your fucking room and make your bed you slob. It’ll look so much nicer and you’ll feel better you did it.

29. If you have to, make the first move. It’s scary, but someone has to do it.

30. Take plenty of pictures. Of the sunset, your food, your friends, your dog, selfies. Everything. That way, later when you scroll through your camera roll, you’ll remember everything about that day, good or bad.

Nat’s Glo Up Challenge

So I was inspired to create this “challenge” for those of us trying to better ourselves thanks to the @shrinkingblonde Full Potential Challenge. I absolutely love it and plan on starting it this weekend, but I feel like it only touches base on your daily routine and I wanted something that touches base on a little bit of everything. Thus, I created an outline for my Glo Up Challenge. This challenge entails ​developing your looks, becoming a better you in various areas, reaching to achieve future goals, loving yourself, treating yourself right, being comfortable in your own skin, being optimistic about life. I organised it in the order I want to work on each thing but feel free to change it around!

Let Go Of The Past

The first step is to let go of the past by tying up any loose ends and close that chapter of your life. You’re starting a new chapter. Somethings from Chapter 1 will follow into Chapter 2 while rest stays behind.

  • Delete/unfollow anyone you follow on social media that you don’t talk to or follow only to see what they’re doing. 
  • Acknowledge any mistakes you’ve made in the past. Accept that you made those mistakes but carry the lesson you learnt.
  • Write down everything you’ve wanted to get off of your chest whether it be to someone in your life or a general feeling about something. Once you’re finished tear it up and throw it out. (Or if you’re feeling brave give it to them)

Goal setting

Now that we’re feeling ready to get our glo up on, it’s time to set goals.

  • Where do you want to be in x amount of time? How do you want to feel? What do you want to achieve?
  • Make a list of your goals.
  • Break down your goals into steps and go from there. It’s important to take it slow so you don’t stress yourself out.
  • Set a time frame for when you want to accomplish each part of it.
  • Review and adjust goals and steps towards reaching them monthly.
  • Don’t let anyone put you down or tell you your goals are stupid, irrelevant etc.
  • When you lose motivation (which is completely ok) remember why you started.

Squad

Going into this I want the right people surrounding me. People who are going to cheer me on, give me brutal pep talks when needed, and be there with me through the good and the bad.

  • Start by keeping in mind you don’t needs millions of friends. A handful of friends is all you need (if so much).
  • Also, pick your friends wisely because you become like the 5 people you hang around most.
  • Ditch Toxic Relationships
  • If you’re someone who has 30 different people who you call your friends, weed through them and determine which ones would really have your back in times of need.
  • Surround yourself with positive people, negativity can affect you way more than you realize
  • I know it’s said all the time, but join a club or sport! It’s an instant way to meet someone new not to mention you already share something in common which is a bonus
  • Once you’ve established who you’re friends are, make sure you’re loyal, kind, reliable, trustworthy, and a good listener.
  • Also don’t forget to encourage your friends!

Health

Having good health is so important because it affects our emotions, thoughts, and physical body. Having good health or at least working on it will make the rest of your journey throughout life much easier.

  • Invest in a water bottle to have on hand all the time. Seeing your water bottle near you will make you more likely to want to drink water.
  • Try out a Mediterranean diet (I plan on making a different post for that later on)
  • Depending on what your day looks like, stretch 5 minutes in the morning, then exercise at least 30 minutes in the evening
  • Adopt a morning and evening routine to help make good habits and break bad ones. It can also help eliminate procrastination
  • Take multivitamins
  • Meditate - Headspace is an app that has ten minute sessions of guided meditation called Take 10 with Andy. Some of the sessions include fun animations at the start of them so you get a better idea of how meditation helps your mind. There are also mini meditation sessions for when you’re on the go and session tailored towards every age group.
  • Try to get 71/2 - 8 hours of sleep every night
  • If you have an iphone, optimized night shift to help stop the blue light that’s emitted from disrupting your sleep. I suggest turning it on at least an hour before bed. For Android users, you can search the app store for an app that cancels blue light - I believe the one I used to use is called Twilight.

Mental

  • Like I mentioned before meditate to get extra headspace
  • Eat brain foods such as: Berries, Nuts, Fish, Dark Chocolate, Avocado, Eggs, etc
  • Challenge yourself. Don’t settle with what you already know or can do, strive to be better.
  • Learn something new, whether it be a language, instrument, or a new word a day
  • Read. Read. Read. 20 minutes a day is all it takes.

Confidence

  • Get to know yourself, what you like, what you don’t like etc
  • Don’t talk badly about yourself. You’re (one of your) own best friend(s). You wouldn’t talk badly or degrade your best friend so don’t do it to yourself.
  • Stay away from negative people. Literally, walk away if you have to.
  • Be grateful - For a fun project, get a jar and decorate it as you like. Every night write one good thing that happened to you that day and place it in the jar. Then when you’re feeling less than stellar, read all the good things that have happened to you.
  • Practice self care everyday
  • Wear the clothes you feel good in
  • Walk with your head held high no matter what and stand tall
  • When you speak, speak with a purpose
  • Stop apologizing so much, especially when it’s not even your fault  
  • Have good manners
  • Laugh at yourself when you make mistakes
  • Empower yourself and others
  • Fake it until you make it  
  • Don’t forget to smile!

Fitness

Now it’s time to get into the physical part of things.

  • The beginning is always the hardest which means consistency (and perseverance) is key 
  • Don’t skip meals. Not gonna lie I’m a huge culprit of this.
  • Create a workout routine
  • Exercise a minimum of 5 days a week. No excuses!
  • Eat Healthy
  • Always stretch before you workout to avoid injuring yourself
  • Find a workout partner. It can be a friend, sibling, or even your mum!
  • Track your progress
  • Remember ~ strive for fit not skinny!

Hygiene

Having good hygiene is so important because even when you’re not having the best day it can still determine if you look put together or not

  • Brush your teeth at least 2x a day
  • Floss! I used to shrug it off but after having braces I realized how much of a difference it made.
  • Speaking of braces - where your retainers. You didn’t endure all of that torture to revert back to their original form. Don’t want to wear them all day long or can’t? Then wear them at night.
  • Wear clean and ironed clothes
  • Make sure your fingernails (and toes) are always cleaned and trimmed.
  • Use deodorant
  • Freshen up throughout the day. Carry travel sized wipes, tissues, mouthwash, deodorant etc.
  • Remove makeup before bed - try Pond’s Cold Cleansing Cream.
  • Avoid touching your face and popping pimples

Skincare

  • First step to taking care of your skin is determining what type of skin you have (Oily, Dry, Normal, Combination)
  • Wash your face morning and night
  • Be cautious using toners - sometimes they do more harm than good
  • Moisturize all over. For your body apply a generous amount to combat dry skin. Also consider trying baby oil gel it leaves skin smooth and stays on all day long, even after showering.
  • Shower with warm water not hot water. Hot water dries out your skin.
  • Drink water! It helps to hydrate your skin
  • Do a body scrub to exfoliate your skin
  • Do a face mask 1-2x a week
  • Clean your makeup brushes
  • Don’t sleep with makeup on
  • Sleep on a silk pillowcase. If you can’t wash your pillowcase every week to get rid of germs/bacteria that can cause your face to break out.
  • Strive for 8 hours of sleep every night so your skin can repair it skin
  • Disinfect your phone with antibacterial gel or disinfectant wipes

Hair

  • Try something new with your hair such as getting it coloured or cut.
  • Now some people may think I’m crazy and dirty for doing this but I wash my hair every 1-2 weeks and straighten my hair once during that time IF I straighten it at all. I’m aware that this may not work for everyone depending on their hair type. I’m mixed Caribbean so it works for my hair.
  • Do a hot oil treatment on your hair every couple of weeks  
  • Don’t forget to trim your hair
  • Keep your hair moisturized
  • Minimize the amount of heat you put on your hair
  • Sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase and/or tie your hair at night

Nail Care

  • Give yourself a manicure every week. It doesn’t have to include painting your nails, it can be as simple as trimming and cleaning them.
  • Invest in cuticle oil
  • Keep nails clean
  • Keep your hands moisturized.
  • Avoid overexposure to water + harsh chemicals as they can eat away your nails
  • If your skin around your nails start to peel DON’T PICK AT IT
  • Avoid biting your nails
  • Avoid using acetone based nail polish remover
  • Always have an Emory board with you so you can fix a ripped or jagged nail
  • Disinfect and replace tools regularly

Foot Care

  • Comfortable and proper fitting shoes is an absolute must.
  • To get rid of calluses soak your feet in warm water, then use a foot file or pumice stone
  • Lotion your feet and put them in socks afterwards to soften your feet. *It won’t happen overnight so you have to do it continuously
  • Trim nails properly to avoid ingrown toenails
  • Dry your feet well
  • Inspect your feet regularly to make sure they’re healthy
  • Remember to let your feet breathe  

Style

  • Try out different styles, Get inspo from polyvore, pinterest, tumblr etc
  • For a classy put together look shop for classic/neutral colours
  • Get fitted to make sure you’re wearing the right sizes
  • Wear clothes that flatter your body type
  • Get your clothes altered so they fit properly
  • Make sure you’re comfortable in the clothes you’re wearing
  • Take care of your clothes by washing, drying, and folding/hanging them the right way
  • Dress for the occasion
  • Keep your outfits simple
  • Try out different accessories to help finish off a look
  • Upcycle old clothes
  • Change out your clothes every season or every Spring and Fall

Make Up

  • Find your signature look. When people talk about your makeup, what do you want to be the thing that sets your look apart from everyone else’s?
  • Go to a makeup counter and get a makeover and get a free makeover. I think Sephora offers free 15 minute makeovers and 45 minute makeovers you have to pay for
  • When applying make up always start with a clean face
  • Start with moisturizer followed by~ primer, foundation, concealer, powder to set foundation, bronzer, blush, highlighter, shape+fill eyebrows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lip liner + lipstick, setting spray
  • Some Beginner/Cheap Makeup Brands: Elf, NYX, Maybelline, Revlon, Covergirl, Wet and Wild   

Money  

  • Get a job
  • Do the $5 challenge  
  • Sell your old stuff
  • Start budgeting to help set spending limits and reduce your expenses
  • Get a debit card~ you can’t spend what you don’t have
  • Have multiple sources of income if possible
  • Invest first, spend what’s left
  • Work on paying off your debts if you have any
  • Create an emergency fund

So the last step in all of this is maintaining your accomplishments. If you feel you need to go back on something by the time you’re done or part way through, go back and work on it some more. Also there are lots of other little stuff you can do to help get yourself together. I know it’s kind of long but I hope this post helps you or puts you in the right direction. FITNESS TIPS✨💪🏼

Hi babes, I’ve been getting a ton of asks about fitness and health so I wanted to make a bigger more generalized post about it!!! DISCLAIMER: I am not a trainer or nutritionist or a doctor- these are just some tips I’ve learned along the way that have helped me!!

-For cardio to burn fat: HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training. Basically, you need to run for 20 or 30 minutes, alternating between walking and sprinting. You can do this on a treadmill, track, or even outside your house, whatever works!! 30 seconds of running and 90 seconds of walking is a good balance for me. This is the best way to burn fat!!! But you have to be consistent with it. Patience is key!

-Muscle burns fat, so incorporate strength training! Google some exercises to do with any weights you have in your house, or just do body weight exercise. Pushups, curlups, and pullups are all great!

-Get some sun!! Vitamin D is very important to overall health. Yes, excessive tanning or any tanning booth usage is damaging, but an hour or so of sun while wearing an SPF is very good for you!

-Drink Water. I know you’ve already heard it a million times. Just do it.

-Eat a diet high in protein and vegetables, and lower in carbs to increase muscle and burn fat! This is what works for me, but you can get a more personalized diet from your doctor. In general, reducing processed/boxed foods is always your best bet!!

You laughed at the puzzled face he made when he drew back. “What??” you asked. “Your lips are really sweet” he said “What..? Oh! the medicine,” you realised, wiping your sleeve across your mouth. “You’re right it’s actually nice!” he said. “Or was it your lips? Let my try again!” He leaned in but you pushed him back. “No! You’re not getting sick because of me!” He fell back and picked up the bottle of medicine, putting a drop on his finger. Before you could stop him he licked the drop off his finger and shook his head in over dramatic disappointment. “I knew it!” he said. “It’s not the same.”

You spluttered and flailed a bit, stopping when you heard Tae laughing at you. “OK,” he said, taking a breath to stop himself from laughing. “You can take off the blindfold.” You slipped it over your head and saw that the thing that had brushed against your face was a willow branch reaching all the way to the ground. You were standing in the middle of the willow tree, surrounded by it’s drooping branches, the sunlight creeping in through gaps. “Wow,” you said, breath-taken. “That’s not all,” Tae smiled. He took your hand and led you around to the other side of the trunk, where a blanket had been laid out with food on top. “Tae…” you said, overcome by how much thought he had put into this. “I’ve been so busy lately and I wanted to make it up to you,” he shrugged. “Now sit down and eat!”

A little while later you were eating strawberries, your head in his lap. His eyes were closed and you were both just enjoying a quiet moment together. He opened his eyes to see you eating the last strawberry, the clean plate beside you. “Wow I didn’t get to even try one of the strawberries, you demolished them!” he said. “You should get more while they’re in season, they’re amazing,” you replied. “I didn’t even know they were in season,” he confessed. “Well they are, trust me,” you replied. He smiled. “I do”. He leaned down to kiss you, but he pulled back quickly his head cocked in curiosity. “What?” you asked, sitting up. Without answering he kissed you again, properly this time. When he pulled back he was grinning. “What is it?” you asked. He attacked you with several quick kisses around your lips, making you giggle. “I thought I imagined it the first time but I guess I didn’t,” he shook his head. “Well, now I can agree, strawberries are  definitely in season.”

Things to do after a new moon

just some things i do every new moon, thought it would be nice to share:

CLENSE EVERYTHING
Your bed sheets, phone screen, crystals, tarot/oracle cards, chakras. it’s a rebirth – start with a fresh slate and really dig out the nitty gritty cobwebs, air out the laundry. there’s a lot of potential energy brewing, and cleansing allows for full potential to be realized.

SELF CARE
like i said above, it’s a rebirth and that means a new you. reflect on the past lunar cycle: what have you realized about yourself? what was difficult? what was easy? what was blah? take note of all of these things – journal, meditate or both. drink an extra glass of water, make some peppermint tea and really feel yourself come alive.

PLAY WITH YOUR CARDS
the tarot is all about new beginnings and harnessing new energy. play around with some fun new spreads – really tap into that third eye. ask what can you learn this lunar cycle? what should be left behind?


These are just random habits that I’ve learned over time that have improved my productivity/mental state/ life in general:

(Obviously I didn’t come up with them all myself, but I do use all of them pretty much daily)

Mornings -

- Use Alarmy - I have only just discovered this, (I’m sure I’m late to catch on), but for anyone else like me: The app won’t stop your alarm playing until you go and take a picture of a particular place in your house that you choose. This has improved my mornings so much because once you’re up and walking around you feel awake ready to start your day, where as I used to spend at least half an hour dozing and desperately trying to wake my brain up. Also you can set it to a place that is relevant to your morning routine e.g. I have to take a picture of the kitchen sink, which means I am also reminded to drink some water first thing after waking up

- When getting ready - organise your entire outfit (including underwear/socks) and take it to the shower/bathroom with you. When you are done showering, dry yourself immediately and don’t leave the room until you are dressed. This saves so much time that you would normally waste sitting around in your towel deciding what to wear, and also stops you from getting cold on winter mornings

- If you are bad at eating breakfast - make smoothie bags the night before (or on Sunday for the rest of the week) that just need to be thrown in the blender in the morning … 

- I also really like getting up one hour earlier than the time that I need to, and watching an episode of tv over breakfast, so I can actually do something I enjoy with my morning instead of rushing … but this probably won’t appeal to everyone

Lunch Time

I saw a cute idea for kids lunches online, and I thought it could be a fun way to subtly feel little, plus it helps eat healthy for those who pack meals for school, work, or other activities. (Added bonus for adorable lunch boxes. I have a sock monkey one.)

Gather a few plastic bins or tubs to put in your fridge (and maybe a few for the counter/pantry) and label them with what is going in each one. I think I’m going to have 8: main dish, main side, fruit, veggie, dairy, snack, drink and dessert. Then once a week or every two weeks, or however often you need to prepare the things to go in the bins. Then when you pack a meal, grab one out of each bin, or as many of the bins as you need.

Here are a few ideas of what to put in each bin:

Main Dish:
- PB&J
- Cup Noodles
- Easy Mac
- Turkey or Ham Sandwich
- Quesadilla
- Grilled Chicken
- Hot Dog
- Thermos of Soup

Your main dish should be something that can be eaten as is, or easily microwaved.

Main Side:
- Hard Boiled Eggs
- Rice
- Pasta Salad

The main side should either help the main dish taste better, or fill in what it may be lacking in protein.

Fruit:
- Apple or Orange Slices
- Grapes
- Mixed Berries
- Peach
- Fruit Cup

Look for in season fruits for the cheapest and tastiest.

Veggie:
- Carrots
- Celery
- Steamed Broccoli
- Snap Peas
- Corn
- Small Salad

Adding a dressing can spice veggies up.

Dairy:
- Cheese Stick or Cubes
- Yogurt Cup
- Gogurt (I like to freeze them)

Calcium is crazy important. I know I struggle to get enough because I don’t like milk.

Snack:
- Chips
- Trail Mix
- Peanuts
- Protein Bar
- Fruit Snacks
- Crackers

Snacks are good for quick consumption. If you have a short break and need a little boost, these are perfect.

Drink:
- Juice Box
- Bottle of Water
- Capri Sun
- Can or Bottle of Tea
- Gatorade

I always suggest that if you bring anything besides water, to bring some water too. Hydration is key.

Dessert:
- A Few cookies
- Pudding Cup
- Small Candy Bar

This might be a good one to limit to 2 or 3 times a week.

I've actually decided that I can hairspray my fringe, which makes it crispy and less soft but it isn’t doing this *flips into his eyes* while I’m trying to talk. So there’s my little beauty tip. Second beauty tip I’ve learnt: If you’ve just had a hair cut or your hair is not working properly  put some dry hair shampoo in your hair before you go to sleep because then your hair releases oils in the night and that’s when the dry hair shampoo can be like “no, I am a barrier!”, so I’ve been doing that. And it’s made my hair look nicer the next day, if I’m having one of those days. “Oh my gosh, beauty tips with Phil #BeautyTips”. I know. Look at me knowing how to use dry hair shampoo. Phil, the hair specialist. Depends on what kind of hair you have. I’ve just got hair that turn into a bit of a greasy rat after about a day, so that helps. *chuckles* Yeah, so that’s my beauty tips. Any other beauty tips? We need some kind of beauty vlog music though for beauty tips. *finds generic royalty free background music* Is this beauty? It sounds like I’m going on a journey with my animals to get to a new circus. So your next beauty tip is, if you have a zit, try putting some toothpaste on it the night before you go to sleep because it dries you out. Also try not to pop the zit because that hurts and it can leave a scar. This should just be the theme tune to my life. I’m just going to play this. *continues to wiggle to the music* Other beauty tips with Phil… I don’t have any other ones… hmm… don’t drop things on your feet because it makes them bruise. It’s getting a bit DanAndPhilCRAFTS now. Protip! … What other beauty tips? Drink lots of water. Stay hydrated. ‘Cause then your skin will have a drink. Don’t be afraid to moisturise. I actually started moisturising quite a lot. Cleanse in the shower, then afterwards your face will be a bit dry so then you moisturise after you’ve done that. Protip! “What moisturiser do you use?” I don’t really have… oh, I got some Clinique for Men. I need to stop this now *turns off music* this is endless. I got some Clinique for Men. Why is it for “men”? I would just have the normal Clinique but I got for Christmas in like one of those Christmas things. Apparently it’s specifically designed for my roughed skin. But that is working quite well. Smells quite nice. … “Gendered skin care is ridiculous.” What I think is ridiculous is how the women’s deodorant is always more expensive than the men’s and it’s exactly the same product. It just smells a bit nicer. I can’t believe that. That's should be changed. If it’s the same product, why is it more expensive to be a girl and need deodorant? Who knows? Why does it even exist?

Peter woke up with the worst headache in the world and had no idea where he was waking up too. The city sirens rang in the background and the cool lights shined and blinded his vision. He groaned and tried to get up, but a sharp pain stopped him in the stomach. It wasn’t until he felt his whole body ache did he notice that there was a pair of cold, delicate hands hovering over his stomach did he notice that someone else was with him. He tried to get up from the floor, but the hands laid a wet tissue that stung his cuts.

“Oh, what are you doing to me?” Peter complained as he fully came through. He looked at the kind face that tended to his wounds. He noticed that his costume shirt was off, mainly to tend to the wounds on his stomach, but it seems his savior has kept on his face mask. The lady looked up at him and smiled. She looked about the same age as Peter, but she had the kindest and most playful eyes he has ever witnessed. “Looks like Spiderman has gotten in a big boy fight, hasn’t he?” The girl teased as she took out a large bandage for one of the scrapes on his body. Peter smirked under the mask.

How to: Making moon water

Hello friends, it is I and I am here for yet another “How to”. This time I will show you how to make moon water. Moon water is a must have for me in my craft. My craft revolves heavily around the moon and almost all of my energy comes from her (the moon, cause she is my babe). Moon water is specially charged water that has a lot of magickal energy. It can be used to clean crystals, used in spells, you can put a little in a bath for an extra boost of energy, you can even drink a little bit to get re-energized, or put some in a spray bottle and use to cleanse a room. Moon water is good for everything! This post will teach you the steps in how to make it. The way that I will show you is not the ONLY way, but it is my way, that I want to share will you all.

Step #1:
Find a jar (witches love jars) preferably a glass jar. You really shouldn’t use plastic cups because the chemicals in the plastic will fuck up the energy of the moon war. I always use a VERY large mason jar because the more water you can make the better. Also the mason jar is easy to store and they are super cheap, you can literally get the anywhere. WITCH TIP! You can go to goodwill and find a SHIT TON of nice ass jars and glass containers for like $2 each. Just make sure you clean them well when you get home, also check and make sure they don’t have any cracks.

Step #2:
Fill your jar with water, spring, filtered, distilled or tap water. I own one of the refrigerators will the thing on the door that filters water, so I always just use the water from there. I personally never like to use tap water because it normally has a lot of chemicals in it, but if that’s all you have then that is fine!

Step #3 (OPTIONAL):
Okay so this step is optional, but sometimes I like to do this if I have a specific purpose for the moon water. Sometime I put herbs/plants/fruit in the water to infuse the water with the magickal qualities of that herbs/plant/fruit. BUT if you are planning on drinking the water be careful with what you put in it. Some herbs/plants/fruits are POSIONOUS! Step #4:
Bless and cleanse the water with incense (Personally I use sage). I cleanse the water by letting the smoke of the incense engulf the container. When I do this I really focus my intent of wanting powerful, energizing moon water.

Step #5:
I consecrate the water by holding my hands over the jar and focusing my energy into the water. If you are a beginner and it is hard for you to focus your energy I would try repeating a saying over and over. You can say something like “Let this moon water be free of impurities and full on positive energy”. It does not have to be those exact words, but just remember to speak from the heart.

Step #6:
Leave the water out side on the night of the full moon. Preferably try to not leave the jar in a place where it is covered by trees and shade. Then just let it sit outside and soak up all of the energy. Then that’s it you are done! The next day go collect your water and be on your mary way UNLESS you did step #3. If you did step #3 then you have to continue to step #7 (sorry, not sorry).

Step #7:
Okay, so you put the herbs/plants/fruit in the moon water. Now you have to fish it out of the moon water. I suggest straining the water with a pasta strainer. Or if you only had big pieces of fruit you can just scoop them out with a spoon. Then that’s it and now you are done!

I noticed a lack of Sammy Lawrence in @doodledrawsthings Hell’s Studio AU so I thought I’d write something. 


Bendy liked Sammy Lawrence, or at least as much as he could. As a worker, Sammy was impeccable. He did his work, turned it in on time, and didn’t complain (too much). As a person he was….less than pleasant. Sammy was grumpy, antisocial, and prone to snapping at anyone and everyone when he was tired. Which was most of the time. He had little patience and an even smaller tolerance for people. He was at least polite most of the time. He got along with Alice pretty well, which was sort of a point of comfort for Bendy. Alice and Susie kept the guy from exploding too much. But boy was Sammy high strung. Especially with people tromping in and out of his office to get at the damned ink pump switch. Sometimes Bendy found himself feeling sorry for the music director. Joey was a special kind of crazy even on the best of days. At the moment, Bendy was down in the music department to collect the new songs for that week’s episode. They had a deadline to meet.

When you first started losing weight how did you start? Like what steps did you take and what steps are you taking now?

I was over 400 pounds when I decided to lose weight, I had been trying for months with no success, but after a suicide attempt and spending some time in a mental hospital I finally found the motivation to change. 

I guess that’s the hardest step isn’t it? Finding motivation to change something negative about yourself, even if it seems impossible. I started by going to the gym and changing what I ate. I have lost weight before so I knew the steps to follow it was just a matter of discipline. 

Get a Gym membership. This is crucial and I know it’s a step that is a lot harder for some people than others but it is absolutely my number one recommendation. Go there, talk to the trainers, introduce yourself to people and ask for advice, surround yourself by the change you want to become.

As for what I did personally I cut out soda completely, I actually only drink water now even after having lost the weight, it’s just a healthier way of life really. Then you make yourself a list of foods that are okay to eat and foods you’re going to stay away from. In this step you can choose to follow specific diets or just follow your own feelings, I suggest sticking to a specific diet at first just so you have a guideline to follow until you feel comfortable.

One thing that helped me above anything else food wise was drinking tea, it helped me reform my body and my metabolism and I couldn’t be any more grateful for it. So you see being healthy is more than just reducing the number on the scale, it’s a process of healing for both body and mind. I hope this helps anyone who is having a hard time finding the motivation to start or struggling to maintain their path remember that it’s all worth it. I lost close to 200 pounds and it has been absolutely world changing. Not only did I make sure I can be there for my daughter in the future but I saved myself from my depression by freeing myself of the physical cage I had built for myself. Hi! You said that you are a personal trainer do you have any tips for cellulite. I have so much cellulite in my legs and I hate it. PLEASE help also I love your page and welcome back!

Cellulite is based on nutrition and genetics. Here’s the though, 90% of women over 20 have cellulite. Me at 90 pounds and me at 120 pounds - BOTH had cellulite. The model in the Cosmopolitan magazine - she probably has it. The toned and lean weight lifter in the gym - she probably has it. The amount of cellulite you have is NOT an indication of your athleticism. I struggle to wear shorts in the gym BUT I can do more pull ups than many of the men in there. 

Reduce your fat intake. STAY HYDRATED OMG THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. DRINK YO WATER GIRL. 

Things I do that have really helped (combined with going to the gym and being cautious of what I eat) 

1. Drink a glass of 1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar (UNFILTERED/ORGANIC/MOTHER) and 8 ounces of water. DO NOT SHOT IT - it’s worse than vodka and zero buzz. I hate the taste so while some can do two glasses a day - I’m working my way through one. You can add lemon and honey - I added freshly squeezed orange this morning. 

2. Add Apple Cider Vinegar to your lotion and rub that shit on your skin twice a day. The scent will eventually fade. You wanna target it internally and externally.

3. Massage the affected area to increase circulation

My phone rang loudly as light crept in from the window. Fuck. I thought as my eyes focused on the time on the far wall of my small bedroom. 6:15. I hated school. I groaned getting up turning of my alarm, yawning and stretching. I tugged my short shorts down that I slept in overnight and opened the door walking to the bathroom avoiding the beer bottles that littered the dark carpet. My hand reached for the door before it was yanked open. A middle aged man stood in front of me wearing only his boxers. I shuttered stepping back.

“Who do we have here?” He grinned down at me. I shivered taking another step back.
