To Those Who Keep Using Past Experience Dealing With Rape to Relate To Timothy
Stop. I am honestly tired of seeing it. If you want to be offended about it I’ll tell you my own experience and this was VERY RECENT.
Back in September a guy I liked came down from Michigan to see me, and I loved every part of it He was a true gentleman and he made me feel better after my ex did disgusting things to me. Fast forwarding a few days before he was supposed to leave, he gets a message from my ex boyfriend asking why he was banned from his Discord server (we all met there), and the guy got fed up with me holding what happened between me and my ex in. They talked for a good 10 minutes, and he asked him two questions. Both blew his mind how he answered. He asked if he kept any pictures of me (and I don’t mean appropriate ones) when I specifically told him not to and he said he “deleted” them. The other was the one thing that still haunts me to this day. He asked if he would have forced himself on me, and he said yes. After they stopped talking he left, and came back about a week later telling his friends he was gonna internet rape them. The guy that is now my boyfriend got pissed at him yelling at him, and afterwards since then, his friends defend him and harass me from time to time making rape jokes. He also shared very personal things with them, and my ex friend made him staff in the server that I left.
Why am I telling you this? Because I am relating what is going on here. It traumatized me, and it has for a long time since. I don’t support rape, and I don’t support rapists at all. I am defending someone I have looked up to, and have listened to for over a year. I am defending someone because I know what it’s like to think everyone has turned on you and has tried to make you look like you’re a total monster and you’re a liar. Now stop relating to Timothy, and think for yourselves. Research both sides and think. And most importantly, defend who you think is telling the truth. Not because they say they’re the victim, but because you believe it.
That is all.
