So, remember how I said I was going through a really frustrating art block and having and art style crisis? Well, while so, I came accross this cute challenge.
Basically what you have to do is draw something by yourself, pick some artists and draw the same thing in their style so I did the phanart version of this. Technically this is about drawing in your friends’ style but since I don’t have enough friends for that I just drew in the style of my faves haha- And then you compliment something you really like about each person’s style and it’s all nice and happy.
Also! Just to spread some love in the phanart community, if anyone else wants to do this challenge please tag with #phanartstylechallenge and I’ll be sneaking around to follow some new phanartists I don’t know yet since I’m actually quite new. You can pick as many artists as you want or do the drawings as complex as you want! This is just for fun. Absolutely no cheating though, I shouldn’t be even saying this but art theft is not okay.
Sherlock loves facemasks anon here! I hope you're feeling okay ❤ When Sherlock got a mild case of food poisoning and was laid up on the sofa, Rosie was very worried. John tried to reassure her and keep her occupied while Sherlock got some shut eye, and she was right by his side when Sherlock called for a glass of water and some Deflatines to soothe his gut rot. She crawled up on the bed next to him, Sherlock quieting John's gentle protest with a look, and made a big show of stroking his cheek(1)
and hair, and snuggled up next to him. “I help!” she chirped, placing the most gentle kiss on his nose. Both Sherlock and John were in awe of her. Seeing as it was nearly nap time, John took no issue with joining his family in bed, and watched as his loves dozed off in each other’s arms. Rosie sucked her thumb with one hand and kept a death grip on Sherlock’s soft tshirt. There was so much more colour in his cheeks as he slept; the love of his Watson’s was the ultimate cure. Once Sherlock was well enough, a small plastic doctor’s kit was purchased and john helped her to wrap bandages around her teddies sore arms and legs and heads and tummies. John even gave her a try of his own stethoscope, listening to Sherlock’s heart together, beating a steady tattoo bursting with love for them both. (Fin).
lsakdfjsdalkfjas ONCE AGAIN THIS IS SO PRECIOUS IDK WHAT I DID TO DESERVE SUCH CUTENESS
What colors would you associate with the members of BTS?
oooh this is such an interesting question! feel free to disagree with me on any of these (it took me so embarrassingly long to think of them jfc):
→ purple; at first, I chose pink, which seems so obvious because he loves the colour but I think purple fits him just well. purple is said to be a rare colour, and I think jin is pretty rare. purple is a mix of blue and red and that just says so much already about jin. blue is calming, blue is confident, blue is loyal, sincere, stable; red is passion, desire, red is bold. together, they make purple, which represents a sense of independence, of nobility, peace, ambition. I personally think jin has a lot of these qualities. jin is striking, but in more ways that just having a pretty face. he’s hard working, smart (another trait purple is said to represent), he’s valiant, he’s confident. he stands out amongst a crowd and he isn’t afraid to do that, he isn’t afraid of the attention. he draws it upon himself, but deep down, he’s caring. he’s gentle with the members, and maybe that’s because he’s the oldest? or maybe that’s just because it’s in his personality.
→ blue; at first, blue can seem cold and indifferent and, sometimes, yoongi may give off that type of aura since he’s usually quiet and reserved. (more below the cut)
Idk what this colour doodle is but it was just me thinking of them having to go undercover as a married couple even though they cant really stand each other’s personalities…. When your wife is purple there are a lot of questions asked….
a few weeks back there was a hashtag on twitter that was #ThingsPOCWritersHear or something like that (idk how to search on twitter so idk how to find it) and a lot of what i saw were writers talking about how they were asked to change the ethnicity of their characters (to white, basically, so they're more "relatable") so like...even if we wanted to create more characters of colour we're discouraged to do so
