with your character changing gender to fit the need it almost makes me wanna know if you're genderfluid or not o.o
I’m not genderfluid, I don’t care.
Genders, sexuality, biological genders etc… Are a very tricky subject. I will try to summarise my opinion on that:
Just do your thing, people are way more than what they are born with between their legs or what society makes them feel about themselves.
As for me, I was born male, I have a beard, a penis and a tendency to loose my hair (T_T). And I am happy with how I look overall (aside from slowly loosing my hair, as I said.)
But if tomorrow I would change biological sex? I would not care. (actually I would care about suddenly changing sex because not something that’s supposed to happen overnight and I would freak out over what the heck just happened. But that’s another problem)
Maybe I would be happier? Possible. I would have a body to fit many cute outfits that I know my actual body would look simply ridicullous in. Because not for my body type.
But drawing don’t have bundaries like that. And why my character would change genders depending on what I would want to draw. I tend to aim for cute (I know, shocking to learn it that way) Which, depending of the style of drawing, is not achieved the same way regarding of physical attributes. Like if I want to draw my character in lingerie, it will have a totally different effect and meaning if I keep him male. When all i wanted in the first place was drawing my character and lingerie. Because I like drawing them both. That’s all.
Male, female, everything in between or totally out of it… It doesn’t matter much to me. Each individual is a very complexe person who is so much more than gender identity or biological sex or sexual interests…
I often get mistaken as a woman online. My only reason to say that I am a man is because they would not start flirting with me because they don’t have the right informations. it sounds stupid but it happened in the past. More than once =|
