what are we drinking

Some of you may have already noticed it but… at the end of this scene , when Miho sees Haruka smile at Makoto (and so when she understand in fact what Haruka found) , we can see a focus on THIS drink.I’m sure the colors have not been choosen randomly. We all know that green=Makoto and blue=Haruka. That’s why I think this is a huge hint for their future. We know their bond have become even stronger and that will never change. They are reunited forever. Even if KyoAni can’t make it officially canon , they have always the symbolism to reassure us…

I hope…

“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”

- Matthew 6:31-33

As much as the world assaults us with what we should want and who we should be like, what we should eat and how we should dress, what we should do for a living and how we should think, God knows each of us and exactly what we need. He created us!

Why I’m feeling good about Swan Queen endgame right now:

1) Emma literally made every possible excuse she could think of in that icky scene to get out of being “stabbed” by H00k’s “sword”. That was NOT the behavior of a woman in love driven mad by passion! She is still uncomfortable about sex with him, and I suspect the reasons will unfold later this season.

2) Emma blatantly lied to H00k when they were drinking at Granny’s. She didn’t just tell him a little white lie that she was okay. She lied big time and told him she went to see Archie (um…seems rather late and sudden to be having an appointment with the therapist, no?) and that everything was okay. Granted, you can tell that H00k is not totally buying it, but nonetheless, this shows that Emma is still holding back from being completely open with him. Their relationship does NOT have a solid foundation of trust.

3) Regina’s monologue, man. I made a much shorter post about it earlier tonight in my haste and excitement, but watching it again just really makes it all so much clearer! When Regina says that some see her as a hero, it’s no coincidence that they show Emma. And when she says, “I see my strength,” they show Emma staring at her trembling hand - showing her weakness. They are deliberately setting Emma and Regina up to be foils of one another. While Emma has been Regina’s savior, now it’s looking like it’s time for Regina to finally save Emma. And the cherry on top? The True Love Theme played over that whole sequence! But as soon as the scene shifted away from Emma and back to Regina and Snow on the bench, the music changes back to normal again. Lastly, Regina vows to start a new story - one that has a better ending than her last. Can we say SWAN QUEEN?!?!

To my fans

I realised that I had focused a lot of writing on past relationships and it hit me I had never written about my best friend. The person I met in college over ten years ago. The person who was at my very first gig. The person who has seen me at my lowest and the first person I call in muffled sobs when something bad happens. We’ve been deliriously happy together, deliriously tired and deliriously sad together. I wanted to show our friendship for what it really is- honest, real, electric. I think about the times we drink together until neither of us can stand. The laughing at our own ridiculousness and foolishness. Comparing our trials and errors; overthinking our break ups and new loves, remembering everything we’ve been through to get to this point and being so proud of it. Two girls from Hereford trying our best in the City. We open our hearts up and take risks, but together we are more powerful than ever. We are challenged every day but we see it through and sometimes it feels like we can conquer anything.

When I’m with you, I’m standing with an army.

Morrigan vs Solas aka the shade Fade expert

I just ordered $70 worth of pizza and I’m not even ashamed. Happy Valentine’s Day to me.

I have to wonder about the design process for Solas. Like the group of designers and concept artists got together and were like “So… we’ve got this elf character. What should we do with him?”

And they thought and thought, drinking much coffee for some brainstorming power. Until someone said “Why don’t we take Fenris and just do the opposite of that?”

“Brilliant! Brilliant!” the team shouted as they created a checklist.

  • White emo/anime hair? Bald.
  • Spiky fuck-off armor? Hobo long-johns and a sweater.
  • Two-wielder rampaging through the battlefield? Support mage.
  • Thinks everything magic touches it spoils? Lives and breathes magic.
  • Angsty and perpetually angry? Calm, cool, and collected.
  • Looks like he can woo any person off their feet but can’t successfully flirt his way out of a box? Unexpectedly smooth as fuck mofo.

And thus Solas was born.
