You’re In Love With Him But He Likes Your Best Friend: Part 3

“Out!”

It’s the first thing Y/n wakes up to, Savannah’s outraged voice echoing along the walls of Y/n’s bedroom.

Y/n groans, squinting her eyes open at the sudden movement of her bed shaking wildly.

Savannah’s pulling the stranger out of Y/n’s bed, her merciless hands continuously pushing him out the bedroom door. He’s half awake, his slumberous daze making him scramble as he attempts to throw his clothes back on.

“Fuckin’ Jesus” the unknown man grumbles, his eyes still half closed from the immense amount of alcohol he consumed the previous night.

Savannah remains relentless, despite his attempt to get fully dressed. He even falls at one point, when he hops on one foot to get his leg through his jeans, but she doesn’t stop for a second.

You, get out of here!” she demands, her hand giving him one last shove out the door before she slams it shut.

Y/n groans again, her sensitivity to anything other than complete darkness and silence making her throw the duvets over her head and bury her face in her pillow. She’s well aware that she has to embrace the very few seconds she has of total peace and quiet before Savannah begins to lecture her for the irresponsibility she just walked into.

She’s only able to reunite with darkness for a split second before Savannah pulls the covers completely off of her, bringing her back into the horrifying sunlight.

Y/n falls off the bed, letting out a groan as her still slightly intoxicated body makes contact with the wooden floor. Her hungover state is making it nearly impossible to figure out the chaos unraveling in the room; all she can really understand is the pounding in her head and the burning in her eyes every time she exposes them from their lids.

She rolls over onto her back, huffing as her fingers dig into her eyelids. She coughs, her abrupt movements making her stomach flip with every turn she makes. She’s given no time to recover before Savannah rips her arms away from her face, gripping onto her wrists as she pulls Y/n off of the floor.

“What the fuck is going on here, Y/n?!” Savannah yells, eyes glaring at Y/n’s very, very hungover stance.

Y/n nearly trips over her own two feet as she attempts to balance herself after Savannah harshly pulled her up from her collapsed figure. If she had the capability to answer back, she would have, but she’s still fucked up from last night and can barely stomach the sunlight seeping in from the curtains.

“Is this what you’ve been up to?!” Savannah spits, angry laughter tying into her words, “Is this the kind of shit you’ve been doing while cutting everyone off?! Sleeping with random guys?!”

The last thing Savannah expected to see was Y/n in bed with a half-naked man and empty bottles of alcohol scattered across her bedroom floor. It was extremely rare for Y/n to carelessly consume alcohol and have consistent one night stands. Savannah’s witnessed her go through these phases only a handful of times throughout their friendship, all of which stemmed from Y/n’s toxic intolerance of being alone.

She should have seen this coming, though. After finding out she’s been in a relationship with someone Y/n was in love with, the first thing she should have done was check up on her. But there was so much fear holding her back, so much guilt preventing her from confronting her about it.

She wouldn’t know exactly what to say, or how to say it, without making it sound like she was the shittiest friend in the world. She had a feeling Y/n had feelings for Harry, considering she had mentioned him a plethora of times once she met him.

And Savannah still took it upon herself to date Harry, for her own selfish reasons. She never thought that it was the potential reason Y/n was so distant. That thought was the last one in the back of her head, completely throwing her off guard when she found out.

She’s tried to reach out to her multiple times, only to be deliberately ignored and shut down. After a while, she figured all Y/n wanted was space, so she stopped trying for a couple days.

But nothing stopped Harry. He’d spend hours knocking on her front door, on his knees, begging for her to speak to him. He’d call her when he wasn’t near her, because he had driven himself crazy knowing he never told Y/n what he needed to tell her so urgently.

Y/n knew—she knew just how much effort he was putting into seeing her again. She heard him, every day, through her front door, but she never knew what to do. The constant fear that Harry didn’t feel the same way back was all the convincing she needed to never speak to him again.

There’s only so much her heart could break, and she didn’t know how many more times it could before she finally snapped.

Y/n grips her head as she squints her eyes shut, hissing at the throbbing in her head when Savannah’s voice booms throughout the room. The overwhelming migraine taking over Y/n’s head practically forces her to sit on the edge of her bed, the palm of her hands still digging into her eyes.

“Not cutting anyone off,” Y/n mumbles, grumbling when she opens her eyes properly to look at Savannah, “I’m just adjusting.”

It isn’t a lie. Her intention wasn’t to ignore them, not at all. But as time went on, the more her emotions started becoming fragile; one wrong sight would have made her break.

And as stupid as it sounds, having sex was the only time she felt wanted after Harry and Savannah started dating. Even if it was in a drunken state, even if it was just purely for physical pleasure, the hours spent with random men were the only moments she felt purpose.

It was also her biggest distraction. Having one night stands was her emotional outlet, her way of letting out all of her emotions without actually doing so. It sure as hell was better than being alone—anything was.

Savannah sighs, shaking her head softly as she kneels eye level to her. She’d never seen her like this before, so lost and broken. She would have lectured her further if she wanted to because she had every right to smack some sense into her. But after all this time, after all the pain she could only imagine Y/n going through, could she really do that to her? Could she really blame her for doing this to herself?

“Y/n,” she rubs her legs, “I have been the shittiest, most horrible friend to you. I was so selfish and so inconsiderate, and I don’t blame you for not speaking to me these past couple days. But, Y/n, this—” her hands gesture around the horrendous state of her bedroom, “this isn’t adjusting. Having drunk sex isn’t going to rid your feelings for Harry. You’re suppressing your emotions, you’re running away. That’s what you’re doing.”

Y/n’s lips begin to quiver as her eyes well with tears; the first time she’s truly cried since the night she saw Harry at Lexi’s. Savannah feels somewhat relieved when she sees the tears falling from Y/n’s eyes. It isn’t a familiar sight to see, but it shows her that she’s actually accepting what she’s been hiding all along.

“You have to talk to me. I don’t care if you yell at me, Y/n. I don’t care what you do to me, but you have to talk to me. You have to show me something. I can’t be hearing about your feelings from Harry, that’s not fair for anyone.”

“What was I supposed to say?” Y/n whispers, her words breaking beneath cries she so desperately wishes she could stop.

But there’s no going back now. The alcohol is still running in her system and she’s reacting instinctively. There is nothing holding her back, not now.

“How was I supposed to tell him that I was in love with him when I knew he didn’t feel the same way? And how was I supposed to tell you anything about him when I knew this would end up happening anyways?! And what was I supposed to say to the both of you when you both decided to take it upon yourselves to flirt in front of me?!

By now, Y/n’s blood is starting to boil. The words coming out of her mouth are laced with venom, her sudden shift in mood making Savannah swallow thickly. But everything in her is operating a million miles an hour, her words coming out faster than her brain can register. She doesn’t even remember standing up from the bed while she paces around her bedroom, empty bottles rolling around the wooden floor.

“Because no matter what I would have done, it would have ended the same! The way it always does, Savannah! The way it always ends with you getting what I want, even if I want it more—“

“Y/n—"

“Even if I need it! You still get it!”

The harshness in her voice is replaced by violent cries, her words drowned in uncontrollable sobs.

The pain is all over. Everything she’s attempted to numb is now all hitting her at once. All the loneliness, all the anger, all the hurt she’s been burying is now reaching the surface. She can barely breathe, all of the emotions suffocating her, squeezing against her throat.

Savannah is quick to embrace her shaken body, shushing her as her hands rub up and down her back.

A part of her always knew she was the reason Y/n’s love life was barely existent. Although Y/n never admitted it, she drops hints at it every so often. She did notice how all of Y/n’s high school crushes ended up liking her instead, and did notice how whenever Y/n tried to date, she would barely mention them to her. It was as if she was hiding them from her, completely intimidated that Savannah would take away her only chance at a relationship.

And Savannah can’t shake the horrible feeling she has when Y/n admits all of it to her.

Y/n buries her face in her shoulder, her tears soaking through her t-shirt. She wishes she could hold a grudge against Savannah, but she doesn’t have the heart to blame her for anything that’s happened. Everything is because of Y/n, everything happening is because of her fear of emotions and every bit of her has no one else to blame.

“I need him.” Y/n sobs into her shoulder, her hands tugging at the ends of her shirt for some sort of release.

“I need him so much. And I hate it—I hate that I do so m—much.”

“Oh, Y/n.” Savannah kisses her temple, holding her higher against her.

She knows how much Y/n needs him, and knows now more than ever. She was her happiest when she first met him, she was almost an entirely different person. But now, after everything that’s happened, Savannah has never seen her more of a wreck than she is in this moment.

“Let’s sit you down, you need to breathe.”

Y/n whimpers as she’s placed back on the bed, Savannah reminding her to breathe every couple of seconds. She looks at Y/n with sadness in her eyes, comforting her whenever she needs it most.

“He needs you, too, you know.” Savannah sighs, shaking her head as she takes Y/n’s fidgeting hands into hers.

“I never noticed it until you distanced yourself from us. He didn’t open up to me the way he should have, never talked to me the way he had with you. When I asked him about it—asked him why he wasn’t communicating with me properly, he always mentioned you.”

Y/n flutters her eyes shut, pursing her lips with the slight possibility that Harry may actually feel the same way towards her. There was always a part of her that fully believed the only reason he’s tried so hard to reach her was because he felt guilty for hurting her so much.

But knowing that there’s a chance in Harry reciprocating feelings gives Y/n an overwhelming sensation she’s ever experienced before. It’s the first time in a while there’s a particular type of warmth in her chest, and she swears she begins to tear up from the bit of happiness she’s been missing.

“He would tell me that you were the only one he truly felt comfortable around. Even confessed you were the only one he’d ever be able to talk to, even if we were in a relationship. He was going absolutely mental.”

Savannah sweeps the pad of her thumb under Y/n’s eye, catching the few extra tears that are overflowing. She smiles weakly at her in reassurance, raking her knotted hair between her fingers.

“No matter how much he claimed to like me, he loved you. He’ll always love you. And even when he was completely oblivious, I know now that, deep down, he was always yours. He was never really mine, no matter how much we all thought differently.”

Y/n nods slowly, a small smile tugging at her lips when she hears Savannah’s words. It’s the first sense of hope she’s felt in a while, and it almost completely rids the pain. Almost.

“I’m sorry for ruining your relationship, though. I kind of feel like this is all my fault.”

Savannah laughs softly, finding it almost completely unbelievable that Y/n always finds a way to apologize, even when things aren’t her fault.

“Are you serious, Y/n? Nobody, including me, can love that man half as much as you do. I ruined your relationship. You barely had anything to ruin.”

She runs her hands through Y/n’s hair one last time before patting her shoulder, a smirk growing on her face as she stands up from her kneeling position.

“Now, up you go. I believe you have to talk to someone who’s been dying to see you.”

It’s when Y/n is about to walk out of her door, freshly showered with a new change of clothes, ready to face Harry when she realizes she never said it.

She never fully told Harry she loves him, not when he was conscious, at least. She had felt it for so long, it has taken over her for so long, yet she never told him how she felt. It almost makes her wonder if it’s the reason why he’s been trying so hard for her.

He needs to hear her say it.

“It’s not hard.” She mumbles to herself as she unlocks her front door.

“Not hard, I just have to fucking sa—”

“Y/n!” Harry breathes out, springing from his position on the ground up to his feet.

He twitches when he instinctively brings his hand up to reach for her, but he holds himself back. He isn’t quite sure how far he’ll allow her to go, but if it were up to him, every part of her would be against him. Every single part.

She sucks in a breath, not expecting to see him waiting on her doorstep, and certainly not expecting him to seem so relieved to see her.

“H—Harry,” she whispers hesitantly, “what are you—“

“I’m sorry!” He stutters, interrupting her before she has a chance to finish asking her question.

“I know how inappropriate it is of me to just sit on your doorstep so unexpectedly but I knew Savannah was coming and I thought that maybe this would be the only time I’d get to see you and I was going to come in but some guy came running out of here and I didn’t want to get in between your time with Savannah so I just figured I’d wait until you came back out but I wasn’t sure if you ever would so I just figured I'd—“

He stops rambling when he feels Y/n’s hand on his cheek, her eyes looking at him with so much tenderness he swears his heart melts.

“Catch your breath, Harry.” She mumbles, rubbing her thumb along his cheek, “Just take a breath.”

He inhales sharply as he closes his eyes, turning his head so that her hand is against his lips. He kisses her palm softly before she moves it to play with his unbrushed hair.

His eyes flutter shut at her touch, his body almost completely melting into her. He feels his weakest now more than ever, and he’s never been more relieved to be this close to her again.

“Who was he, Y/n?” he whispers.

“The guy, who ran out of here, who was he?“

As much of a coward as it makes him, the thought of her in bed with someone else physically and mentally pains him more so than he’s ever expected. His head swims with thoughts of her naked, trembling, crying as she devotes her love to some other man, and the more he thinks about it, the more sick his stomach feels.

“Have I been trying for nothing? Have I been wasting my time?”

How could you ever doubt my love for you? is the first thought that comes to her. How could you ever question how much I love you?

Instead of saying the words right at the tip of her tongue, her eyes crease inward, slightly shaking her head as she scrapes her fingertips delicately against his scalp.

“I don’t know, Harry.” she whispers honestly, “I don’t know who he is.”

He nods softly, but nothing in her answer reassures him. He knows there is no other explanation for a guy to run out of her house at nine in the morning without a shirt on.

“May I come in? Wanna talk.” He asks tentatively.

“Of course you can.”

Silence falls between them as they both claim spots on opposite sides of the room.

There’s a tension in the room they both can’t seem to shake, an unaddressed barrier between them making it nearly impossible to find an appropriate way to start a conversation.

Harry’s the first one to break the silence, however, after a few minutes past of each of them refusing to make any eye contact with each other.

“Were you ever going to tell me?”

The question caught Y/n’s attention quickly, her head that was once resting in the palm of her hand now up on its own, a small “hm?” parting past her lips.

She’s acting dumb even though she knows exactly what he’s talking about. She just isn’t prepared to answer him, not in the way he wants her to.

“That you’re in love with me. Were you ever going to tell me?”

She shrugs, her teeth biting her bottom lip as she tears her gaze away from his. She isn’t used to confrontation, especially when it involves her emotions. It’s one of her weaknesses, but there’s absolutely no way around this one. Even if there was, she wouldn’t have the audacity to take it. He deserves to know—everything this time.

“I told you before.”

Harry’s jaw clenches, eyes narrowing as he looks at her from across the room. No, he may have been oblivious about her feelings in the beginning, but he sure as hell would never have forgotten it if she told him how she felt.

“Bullshit!” He scoffs. “You didn’t tell me shit! We wouldn’t be here right now if you had told me!”

She sighs, her cheek laying right back down in the palm of her hand, almost as if shying away from him.

“Well, it’s just—you were sleeping.”

Harry stands from his place on the couch, face scrunching in aggravation as his hands rub up and down his face.

“You’re kidding me, right? You have to be fucking kidding me right now!”

His fingers harshly grip the roots of his hair before stomping is way towards her. If he doesn’t get any answers out of her, he swears he’ll lose his goddamn mind.

His hands grip the sides of her face, squeezing her jaw between his hands as he looks at her bewildered.

“I need answers, Y/n. I don’t think you understand how many fucking answers I need right now.”

He speaks through clenched teeth and a tightened jaw, frustration boiling in his blood as she gives him the outright most ambiguous and outrageous answers he’s ever heard in his life.

Y/n places her hands on top of his, her fingernails digging gently into his skin. Despite the harshness of his stare, this is the first time she’s seen him in weeks, and she still finds him to be the most beautiful sight she’s ever seen.

“It was the night after I drove you back from Lexi’s, when you and Savannah were kind of going through that rough patch.”

He falls to his knees in between her legs, an almost unnoticeable smile tugging at his lips from the memories of that night. Because although Savannah had left him by himself, he had a night with Y/n that changed him forever.

"You fell asleep on me, after you told me you were still going to fight for her. That was probably one of the worst things you could have said to me, but you didn’t know, and I was angry at myself for not telling you sooner. I didn’t know how else to tell you unless you were—you were sleeping.”

His hand reaches up to her lips, his thumb tracing along the outlines of her mouth once she’s done speaking. No matter how much she confuses him, and no matter how fucking angry she makes him, he wouldn’t want to be staring at anybody else right now.

“I loved you then, too” he whispers, “I didn’t know it. I didn’t know anything until you left me. I knew you meant everything to me, I knew you were the only one I trusted so deeply. But the second I lost you, I felt empty.”

He presses his forehead against her collar bones, her heart beating quickly against his neck. She sighs, her fingers intertwining with his against her lap as her hips slide more towards the edge, her knees supporting the sides of his chest.

“Didn’t matter that I had Savannah. She was lovely, don’t get me wrong, but she wasn’t you. I tried so hard to make myself believe I was just missing you as a friend, but there was nothing that convinced me.”

His tearful eyes looked into hers, both chuckling slightly at their current state. They’re both crying, both their hearts racing in their chests. If someone were to tell them now that there’s a feeling even remotely close to how beautiful they feel now, together, they wouldn’t have believed it for a second.

Y/n wipes away the loose tears on his cheeks while she sniffles, giggling softly at how stupid they probably look.

“I’ve always loved you, Harry,” she whispers, “there’ll never be a time that I stop. No matter how hard I try, my love for you is stronger.”

It’s when the words fall from her lips that Harry realizes all he needed was for her to hear her say it. Her voice is so sweet as she says it, too, and her eyes leave no trace out doubt when she looks into him.

He tries to hold back the irresistible urge to kiss her, but it’s completely impossible. His lips press feverishly against hers, both of them releasing moans at just how right it feels to be kissing one another. Their kiss isn’t the slightest bit romantic. It’s harsh, it’s desperate, it’s messy but it’s just what they need.

Harry crawls on top of her, his hands on every part of her they can touch. He groans when he feels her nails scratch down his back, leaving her giggling underneath him.

“Mine.” He growls, his thumb putting pressure right underneath her chin.

He admires her face, the glorious look of her swollen lips, wet eyes, and pink cheeks. It’s the most beautiful sight he’s ever seen. A soft whimper leaves her lips, craving nothing more than to feel his lips against hers again.

“These lips are mine. All of you—all of you is mine. No other fucking wanker gets you the way I do.”

She smirks, her eyes half-lidded.

“‘m not allowed to sleep with random guys but you’re allowed to fuck my best friend?”

He presses his lips against her again, his hands brushing loose strands of hair away from her face as he does so.

“Never fucked her,” He mumbles against her lips, “couldn’t get you off my mind.”

Y/n rolls over so that she’s on top of Harry, her legs on either side of his waist as her hands roam his chest through his t-shirt. He looks priceless like this, weak and breathless underneath her as her hands grip the sides of his face.

“The prettiest man I’ve ever seen.”

He blushes, his bottom lip in between his teeth as he sends her the biggest grin she’s ever seen on him. His eyes are full of love, too, and Y/n swears every breath she had the chance to take has been knocked right out of her.

“Nobody makes me feel the way you do, Y/n. Nobody.

TW // Smut, profanity

I hope you can see the shape that I’m in when he’s touching your skin

Jealousy. It’s in his veins. It’s selfish, he knows, but he doesn’t want to see her with anyone other than him. They’re just dancing, it should be innocent, but she’s staring at him. She’s staring at him with that gleam in her eyes and a smirk on her blood red lips, she knows what she’s doing to him and she’s enjoying it. He craves her. her touch being the only thing that could cool his burning skin right now, the kind of touch that breaks voids of silence, but she’s not touching him she’s touching that stranger. Her pretty hands touching a man who doesn’t even know her name, a man who asked her to dance whilst Harry was standing right there. He’s got the image of her over the shoulder smile she sent him as she walk away with a man that wasn’t him. She can see he’s mad, whether it’s at her or the guy touching her she doesn’t know but she can see his hand gripping his drink as hard as he grips her neck and it makes her ache…

Tempted, you know

Temptation. The cruellest of all mistresses. He’d ruin her, he wants to ruin her. He wants to hurt her so good she bites the inside of her cheek to suppress her whimpers when she thinks of him. He wants to do everything that man who’s got his hands on her could never do because he doesn’t know her body the way Harry does. It’s driving him insane, she’s driving him insane and the longer she stares at him, the more she bites that goddamn lip of hers, the more he can’t resist the temptation of watching her, watching him. If she could stop being so fucking pretty; he could stop losing himself over her. He would never make a scene, that wasn’t him, he doesn’t need to. He knows what she wants and he’s more than happy to oblige. She wants the sparks between them to leave carpet burns on her knees, she wants him to confess his sins with his tongue in the church beneath her skirt, she wants him to destroy her and fuck he wants that too. When the song ends, that mans hands drop from her waist and she saunters over to him with a sway in her hips and that smirk still playing on her lips. It’s got his arm reaching towards her and his hand in her hair, pulling it back as he whispers “you’re going to regret that” into her ear in that voice that leaves her breathless. She doesn’t say anything; she’s too focused on how his rough hand is so gentle on the small of her back as he leads her outside and into the back of a taxi.

You flower, you feast

She’s the prettiest sin he’s ever touched. Her black dress a mess on the floor by the door; discarded so he can leave fingerprint bruises on her skin. She’s gasping and they’re not even at the bedroom yet but when they get there, oh god when they get there, he’s everywhere all at once and she’s overwhelmed. She’s so soft and he’s going to break her. He’s got her under his thumb and she’s squirming, she’s writhing, every move he makes is so intense and she can’t breathe. She blossoms at his touch, his touch, the only one who should be touching her like this; at all. His fingers are in her and it’s just not enough. She needs him, all of him, whimpers of “please” and “need you” being all she can get out has him falling apart. She’s his weakness and that desperate look in her eyes is going to kill him.

Wo-woman

Every essence of him is in her, his body is all electricity when he’s one with her. His hands are all over her, like leaving any part of her skin untouched would be a crime punishable by death, she’s red with hand prints and bite marks and she’s never loved her body more. She’s his and now no one would be able to ignore that, no unnamed man at a bar had anything on Harry. No man could make her feel like he does, she’s ruined for anyone else and he loves it. Her back is arched and his lips are between her collarbones, one of her hands in his hair and the other over her mouth and she’s there. His encouraging whispers in her ear of “good girl” and “that’s it baby” aren’t helping her come down from this state of bliss. She’s silent, too in awe of this feeling to make a sound, it’s never quite felt like this before and he can tell because she’s so impossibly tight. He’s falling apart, her mouth-open-eyes-squeezed-shut face pushing him so far off the edge he’s in disbelief. He’s gripping at her, almost as though he thinks she’ll disappear, he’s got his head buried in the crook of her neck and he’s groaning. His husky voice sounding more like a growl as he loses himself inside of her and fuck it’s music to her ears. When he’s done he collapses, still inside of her, face still in the crook of her neck and they’re quiet. The aftermath to their euphoria being comfortable silence. Him on top of a body so beautiful to him, painted in marks from him.

Day 2 - Purring

Something was rumbling in her ear.

Marinette woke slowly, the soft rumble reeling her out of a pleasant dream and the unmistakable vibration of her pillow steadily grounding her in reality. But even when she blinked open her eyes it still took a moment to place the sound. At first she thought it was her phone.

But then she remembered what had been happening before she fell asleep.

Root beer floats on the balcony. Video games until well past two in the morning. Giggling at a comic book on her bed until no, that was definitely the last thing she remembered. As if in response to this, she became aware of a glossy page plastered to her cheek. Sitting up, she peeled the comic book off and tossed it aside, afraid to look behind her at the other side of her bed. Because if he’d simply left, then what was that suspiciously purr-like sound? Man, they’d fallen asleep on accident again, hadn’t they?

In the darkness Marinette peeked over her shoulder at him, then immediately sqeaked in terror when she saw his bare arm and wrenched her pillow up to press it over her eyes.

He isn’t transformed. Oh my god, he detransformed in his sleep!

Look at Me

Hi you! Hope you enjoy this little blurb. It came super spontaneously and without any planning.

Plot: Y/N can’t understand why H never looks at her.

This gorgeous picture isn’t mine.

Harry would never know what to say when his eyes met hers.
The moment his orbs found her sparkling ones, he was drowning, flying and falling. All of it at once and all of it with only one target: Love.
When Harry looked into her eyes, he could feel himself grow love for her, a much stronger and more passionate love that was appropriate. Harry was her friend, after all. Just a friend. Her shining orbs were his weakness and could always read him like an open book. If he were to maintain eye contact for too long then he was sure she would notice the raw emotion in his, the small twitch in his lips that longed to meet hers and how his cheeks blushed.
He knew he couldn’t let his emotions show. Her rejection would mean losing her and losing her would mean his end.

So… Harry didn’t look into her eyes. It might be a silly solution but at this point he had no idea what else he could do. His eyes would be focused on her lips, hands or hair. Anywhere really. He craved her with all that was him, which was just why he needed to distance himself.

And she had started to notice.
She couldn’t understand his strange behavior, just like she couldn’t understand the sting of jealousy in her chest whenever she watched him smile and speak to other women, women with whom he had no trouble locking eyes with. Sometimes her stomach turned when she noticed how he’d been maintaining eye contact with the same woman for almost an hour. What had Alexa Chung once said? When he looks at you, it feels like staring into the face of a lighthouse. Could be true. It’s not like he let her find out for herself the way he was avoiding her eyes with everything he’s got.

“Are you mad at me?” The words slipped from her lips before she could stop them.

Harry was standing next to her, a drink in his hand and his eyes set on the painting on the wall. When her words reached his ears, he tensed.

“Mad?” he asked, confusion evident in his tone, “No, m’not. Why would you think so?”

She shrugged. “Feels like your avoiding me.”

“Been with you all day, love.” Harry’s hips knocked into hers in a playful nudge, but his smile dropped when he noticed the frown deeply set into her forehead and how her fingers were twitching.

His body turned to hers and his hand found the small of her back, drawing her in just a tiny bit closer. “I’m not avoiding you. Sorry that I made you feel as if I were, love.”

“I know you’re not physically avoiding me. That’s not what I meant.” he heard her murmur.

She didn’t make sense. But he understood. Of course she’d noticed the lack of attention he’d given her, how he hadn’t looked at her. She desired nothing more than his green and intelligent eyes on her and that was just what she was denied.

“Did I do something?”

Harry’s face crumbled with her quiet whimper. He shook his head and reached for her hand, pulling her away from the people surrounding them and into a quiet hallway where he knew they could talk in private. Once they reached his destination he gently pushed her up against the wall, making sure she wouldn’t run away.

“Darling,” he whispered, “sweetheart, love. I’m sorry.”

“You never look at me,” she spoke with a pout on her lips and the frown deepening, “Never. And it’s frustrating, Harry.”

Her words tugged at his heart and he couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt this bad. Guilt for having made her worry ate at his insides and he found himself cradle her face before he could rethink it. Her cheek felt hot under his hand and her skin soft. His mouth fell open and his heartbeat sped up.
But not even now could he look into her eyes.

She sighed with disappointment and whined. “Harry.”

“M’sorry!” he groaned, “S’not easy for me, okay? Looking at you, I mean.”

“Ouch,” she smiled half-heartily.

He rolled his eyes. “You’re beautiful and you know it. I wasn’t implying anything else. What I mean is that looking at you… it burns. It feels like my heart is set on fire.”

“Why?” she asked, her mind heavy with unfriendly thoughts.

He couldn’t find an answer to her question. His nerves were going crazy and his skin prickled. What could he say? What should he say? The truth, maybe, but she wouldn’t want him anymore, would she? Or maybe…
One look at her lips sufficed.
He groaned. Perhaps actions did say more than words.
Her breath hitched.
She hadn’t expected him to kiss her, but before she could catch up with it, his lips were on hers, his hands in her hair and his body pressed flush against her own. She didn’t mind him crushing her into the wall but instead rejoiced at the warmth spreading in her tummy. Harry smelled wonderful, his skin was soft under her touch and the quiet noises his lips made whenever he deepened the kiss drove her insane. He moaned when her hands pulled at his hair and her knees weakened.

“Harry,” she gasped, “Need-need to breathe, love, please.”

Reluctantly he allowed her to pull away, amazed by how pink her soft lips looked and by how good she looked with her neck marked by his kiss.

“Look at me,” she complained, her eyes rolling in frustration but a she couldn’t help smiling.

Harry grinned, finally allowing his eyes to meet hers. How had he denied himself her warm stare for so long?

“Don’t think I’ll ever look anywhere else again,” Harry confessed with a sigh.

She shrugged and grinned. That was fine with her.

Hope you enjoyed this little blurb.

Hi! is part five of the four musketeers coming out soon? it’s really amazing!

Pairing: Archie x Reader

Description: A few days of an agonizing wait and the court case’s outcome.

Warnings: none

Word count: 1,309

A/N: wowowow that was a long wait, sorry guys!  here’s the final part, enjoy!

On a quaint Thursday night, the Andrews sat in their dining room, enjoying the pepperoni pizza they ordered.  Their quiet dinner was disturbed by a soft knock on the door.  Fred Andrews was the first to stand, so he opened the door to reveal a disheveled eight year old.

“(Y/N)?” he questioned, opening the door wider.  She looked up at him with sad, wide eyes.

“I’m sorry to bother you, Mr. Andrews,” she apologized, “but my parents are yelling a lot again, and you said that if it ever got a bit too much-”

“That you are welcome here,” Fred finished, a comforting smile on his face.  “Of course you can come in, (Y/N).  Hell, stay the night if you need to.”

“Thank you, Mr. Andrews,” (Y/N) whispered her gratitude as she stepped inside.  She wasn’t acting shy because she was uncomfortable around Archie’s parents; it was because she thought she was intruding.

“Archie, look who’s joining us for dinner!” Fred called out.  Immediately, a loud thump echoed through the Andrews household as Archie leapt off his chair.  He sprinted towards the doorway, where he knew (Y/N) was standing.

“(Y/N)!” Archie exclaimed, excitedly jumping.  All of (Y/N)’s tentativeness suddenly vanished as she laid eyes on her best friend. “You’re just in time!  The pizza is still warm!”

“Pepperoni?”

“Of course!”  The two children feverishly ran into the kitchen.  Mrs. Andrews warmly welcomed (Y/N) and assisted her in grabbing two slices of pizza.  When both Archie and (Y/N) were occupied in conversation, Mary stepped out into the hallway with Fred.

“Not that I don’t love that girl,” she whispered to her husband, “but she’s here a lot.  Too much, considering the circumstances.”

“I know, I know,” Fred sighed, pressing his fingers against his temple.  “But we can’t do anything.  You know we can’t talk to her parents, that’ll make it worse.”

“But maybe if they just got some counseling-”

“Have you met her parents?” he interrupted her.  “They’re both too headstrong to ever listen to each other, even with a licensed therapist present.  The only thing we can do is help (Y/N) wait out the storm.  Hopefully it’ll be over soon.”

“It feels like this has been going on for my whole life,” (Y/N) explained to Kevin as she stabbed at her salad.  “I mean, my parents have been fighting for as long as I can remember.  Honestly, I’m surprised it took them this long to file for a divorce.”  Kevin shifted in his chair.

“This is so dramatic,” he commented, slightly leaning forward in interest.  “I know Jughead has already written a novel about yours and Archie’s tragic romance, but he seriously needs to write a sequel.”   (Y/N) laughed and shook her head.

“Well everything’s at a standstill right now,” she shrugged.  “All we can do is wait.”

“For the court case to be over?”

“Yeah,” (Y/N) nodded. “I gave my statement, so now my mom and dad battle it out in court to decide who gets custody.”

“Basically, they’re deciding where you’re gonna live and how your life is gonna pan out,” Kevin paraphrased. (Y/N) nodded glumly.

“Exactly.”

“And you can’t do anything else?” Kevin asked.  (Y/N) shook her head.

“No,” she answered.  “Like I said before, we just have to ride out the storm and hope for the best.”

“And what happens if your dad wins?”

“I go back to New York. I live there until I’m eighteen and then I’ll go to whatever college I get into,” she sighed.

“What about Archie?” he questioned.  She pursed her lips.

“There’s nothing I can do about him.”

“But will you guys still be a thing?” Kevin inquired.  “Will you keep in touch this time?  Oh god please don’t let this die out again, you have no idea how much I need you two to be endgame.”

“We’ll see, Kevin,” (Y/N) giggled.  “I want to keep in touch.  Hell, I tried last time.  If I move back to New York, it’s up to Archie to keep in touch with me.”

“So how’s it going with (Y/N)?” Jughead asked Archie one night at dinner.  Archie glanced up from his plate, confused.

“What do you mean?”

“The court case,” Jughead elaborated.  “Do you know what’s going on?”

“I only know what (Y/N) knows,” Archie answered.  “She gave her statement a few days ago, so now her parents have to go into the courthouse in two days-”

“And that’s when (Y/N)’s fate will be decided,” Jughead dramatically finished.  Archie nodded and returned to his food.

“Yup, that pretty much sums it up.”

“But even if (Y/N) does have to move back to New York, you’re still gonna keep in touch with her, right?” Jughead questioned.  When Archie didn’t respond, Jughead dropped his fork as he stared disbelievingly at his friend.  “You’re gonna cut her off again?”

“I’m not going to cut her off, Jug,” Archie fired back.  “I know I screwed up last time, and I’m not planning on doing that again.  I just… I don’t want to think about that right now. I’d rather just ignorantly believe that (Y/N) will stay in Riverdale.”

“Archie,” Jughead placed a comforting hand on his friend’s shoulder, “you can’t put yourself through denial again.  It’s not good for you.”

“But it’s so much easier, Jug,” Archie sighed.

“It may be easier now,” he warned, “but the consequences are more severe, Arch.  Think about when you acted like (Y/N) didn’t exist after she left. It may have been easier for you while she was gone, but when she came back, she was furious.  Imagine the kind of relationship the two of you could’ve had by now if you hadn’t been in denial for so long.”  Archie sighed at this, knowing that Jughead was right.  “You can postpone the pain, Archie, but you can’t prevent it.”

Two nights later, (Y/N) was staying over at the Andrews’s house.  Her parents were still at the courthouse.  She and Archie hovered over her phone all evening, awaiting the phone call that would announce who she had to live with.  The phone call that determined her fate.

At around midnight, they gave up on waiting.  Archie and (Y/N) retired to Archie’s bedroom, where they curled up in the bed together. (Y/N) set her phone down on the nightstand, but she refused to take her eyes off of it.

“Go to sleep,” Archie mumbled, wrapping an arm around her waist.  (Y/N) shifted so that her back was pressed against his.

“I can’t,” she whispered. “What if they call and I’m asleep?”

“You turned your ringer volume all the way up, (Y/N),” he reminded her.  “If you’re asleep when they call, it’ll wake you up.”  (Y/N) sighed but didn’t respond.  Archie noticed her breathing began to slow down, so he figured she was falling asleep.  He, too, was beginning to drift off until a shrill ringing disturbed their sleepy silence.

“The phone!” (Y/N) exclaimed, immediately sitting up.  She, tangled in the bedsheets, rolled over towards the nightstand and quickly snatched her phone.  She pressed the answer button and held the phone to her ear.  Archie tried to listen to the other line, but he couldn’t hear it.

“Okay,” (Y/N) responded, nodding.  There was another break of silence as the person on the other line talked.  “And that’s the outcome?  It can’t be reversed?”  Another pause.  “Alright, thank you.”  She hung up the phone and slowly set it down.  Archie turned on the lamp as he stared at (Y/N).

“So?” he inquired.  “What happened?”

“I’m staying,” (Y/N) muttered quietly, still in shock over the outcome.

“You’re staying?” Archie excitedly repeated.  “For good?”

“Yeah,” she grinned.  He tugged her into a tight hug.  “I’m staying in Riverdale, Arch!  I won’t leave you ever again.”  He slowly pulled out of the embrace and smiled at her.

“Good,” he replied, and he crashed his lips against hers.

Rain-Check

Requested. (Three)
Who: Peter Parker
Quote: “To the moon and back, remember?”

Peter had probably reread the text message from Tony about a hundred times before he actually responded. Chewing on his lip to the point where it was starting to bleed, he groaned. Looking up towards the setting sun, he felt his chest tighten. Swallowing, he squinted his eyes and pulled off his mask.

Shoving it between his thighs, he ruffled his hair and dialed [Y/N]’s number. Closing his eyes, he bit his lip, preparing to be the bearer of bad news, again

“Peter! Hey, you.” It hurt Peter that she sounded so happy. “I was just about to change into that dress I bought on a whim. It’s really not me but I figured since you’re taking me to the opera, it would work.”

Peter sighed, “About that…..” He trailed off, not able to actually say the words.

[Y/N] sucked in air, “Or not.”

His jaw clenched at the sound of her tone. “[Y/N], I’m really sorry. I told Tony about this night and how much it meant to me to just have no interruptions but….”

“It’s okay, Peter.”

Shaking his head, he looked up at the sky that was now fading from blue to a pretty pink. “It’s not okay. It’s never okay. You were so excited, I, I really, I want to take you. But, I can’t.”

“We can take a rain-check, Parker. I promise, it’s okay.”

“Do you know how many rain-checks are on our list right now?” Peter asked, his brow raised. He hated and loved how understanding she was. For once, he wanted her to scream and yell at him for always cancelling but at the same time, he couldn’t imagine how his life would be if she were to ever leave him.

[Y/N] pondered for a second and chuckled, “A lot, but the world needs you.”

“Don’t you?”

“Of course I need you but you’re a hero, Peter.” She sighed, “You save lives, it’s what you do. I can’t change who you are or what you do.”

“Sometimes I wish I didn’t.” He muttered.

“Hey, watch it, Spiderman.” [Y/N] said sharply. Sighing again, she murmured, “You saved mine…maybe not physically but mentally. I don’t know where I would be with out you.”

Throwing back his head, he alternately kicked his legs. What did he do to deserve her? Licking his lips, Peter breathed out. “I love you.”

“I love you too and don’t worry about tonight, Peter. I promise I’m not mad, I will never be mad. I might be a little sad but I’ll be alright.”

“I know, but it’s not fair to you. I get your hopes up and then last minute I cancel them. I just, I want, I don’t want to hold you back from happiness…..with all this stuff that’s happening lately, it’s making it a lot harder for us to spend time together and when we do spend time together it’s during school and that’s not the setting I want to be with you in-”

“-hey, hey, hey.” [Y/N] murmured, “To the moon and back, remember?”

Even though she couldn’t see it, Peter nodded. “Yeah, to the moon and back.” He repeated.

“I mean every bit of that. You’ll have to do a lot more than cancelling dates to get rid of me, Parker.”

Peter laughed, shaking his head. “Trust me, getting rid of you is the last thing I want to do.”

“Good, cause I’m here to stay.”

A silence fell over them for a second before [Y/N] spoke again.

“Alright, Spiderman. Go sling some webs and save the world. I’ll be all comfy and cozy in my bed.” Yawning, [Y/N] thought for a moment. “Why don’t you come by whenever you’re done, I’ll leave my window unlocked. I can’t promise I’ll be awake but I figure you’d be a lot more comfier than that large stuffed dog you got me at the carnival.”

Smiling, “I’ll be there.”

“Love you, spiderling.”

Rolling his eyes, “I love you too.” Hanging up the phone, he stared off into the sky, smiling to himself. Shaking his head, he threw on his mask again and headed in the direction Tony told him to go to.

Dialogue prompt: "Hushed exclamation of wonder!" "What?" "I said, hushed exclamation of wonder."

HAHAHA oh my god hold on, I got this.

————————————–

“She tried to drink from the fountain in the quad,” Keisha says as soon as she enters the room. Her hair is sticking wildly out of her braids and there’s a certain desperation in her eyes that’s become rather common the past few days. “Again.”

The three other students gathered in the empty classroom, huddled over coffee cups and half-filled notebooks, groan.

“I’ll add it to the board,” Abir says. There are deep bags under his eyes and he’s got the most coffee cups piled up in front of his chair. He hauls himself out of his seat and to the front of the room. He uncaps the dry erase marker and writes Drinking from fountain to the bottom, right under BROCCOLI AND WHIPPED CREAM ARE NOT HUMAN FOODS.

It’s a long, long list.

“Maybe,” Catherine says carefully, “we should tell her. I think she’d be more aware if she knew we knew. You know?”

“Fuck off,” Gio says. “I’ve been awake for way too long to make sense of that shit.” He puts his hand back down on the table, seemingly uncaring of the coffee puddle his hair falls into.

“She’s worked so hard though,” Keisha says, dropping down into an empty chair. “She’s getting better, really. She doesn’t do the stalker-stare as much anymore!”

“Yes she does,” Gio says, not lifting his head. “She just does it when you’re not looking. Still creepy.”

“I think Catherine is right,” Abir says, dragging himself back to his chair. “She thinks she’s blending in because we haven’t said anything. The suits almost saw her scuttle up that big pine tree yesterday. That doesn’t exactly scream human.”

“Exactly,” Catherine says, slapping the table. “If she knows we know then we can give her more obvious pointers! And stop her from giving herself away to the Men in Black.”

“We don’t know they’re the Men in Black,” Keisha says. “Maybe they really are auditing the university.”

The four friends stare at each other, Gio deigning to lift his head, for a long moment. Then they all burst out laughing.

“Oh my god,” Abir says, wiping tears from under his eyes. “I asked them about their geiger counters. They told me they were calculators.”

Catherine slaps the table again. “Ha ha, holy shit. That beats when they followed me and Georgiana into the ceramics room for some records.”

“I think my favorite part might be their fake ass badges,” Gio says. “I googled an IRS badge and they don’t look anything alike.”

“They’re so bad at their cover,” Keisha says, “it’s sad.”

“They might actually be worse at pretending than Georgiana is,” Gio says, “and she’s, you know.” He raises his eyebrows. “Not from around here.”

That sets them all off again. And if the laughter, at one point, becomes somewhat closer to crying than laughing, no one mentions it.

I’m so incredibly grateful for all the love I got on my latest fanfic! You guys liked it and wanted another chapter so I’m back baby! Enjoy it my beautiful love bugs!
*****
Betty tucked a loose strand of honey blonde hair behind her ear, adjusting her cheerleading uniform and throwing her bag over her shoulder as she started on her walk home. She took a deep breath and inhaled the fresh spring to summer air as the sky drizzled, sunshowers were here absolute favorite thing in the world, it was almost as if the universe was saying, even sunshine needs to cry sometimes. Betty brought her fingers up to her face, wincing as she touched a particularly nasty bruise under her eye, the wet mist was washing away her makeup and leaving the evidence of chucks anger visible for all to see.

He had been so angry last night when he found out the jacket was gone, his default was to blame her and as hard as she lied and tried to deny it, he wouldn’t stop hitting her, wouldn’t stop screaming at her, calling her the most disgusting names.

Of course she wanted to leave him, who would want to stay in a relationship like this? When she was younger she had always dreamed of falling in love, finding someone who loved her for all she was, she had written endless pages about it in her diary. Unfortunately, it hadn’t worked out that way, Chuck had hunted her down, he had chosen her because she was pretty, because she was easy prey, and she had fallen for it. He spewed lies about the cheerleader and the quarterback, that they were meant to be, the pretty words and secret kisses had only lasted so long before the real Chuck had shown up. So yeah, she wanted to leave him, wanted to run away, but she couldn’t. She was too scared and she was too weak, his threats always echoing in her mind.

“If you leave me, I’ll kill you. Who are you going to run too? Your parents? Please. They’d laugh in your face, tell you you deserved it.” He would spit, and he was right, her parents were fully aware of the way the football player treated their daughter but they did nothing to stop it.

Betty could still remember the first time she had come home with a black eye from Chuck, she woke up the next morning to a tube of concealer and a note from her mother

“Please ice the bruise, you have homecoming next week and it would be unseemly to have a swollen eye in your pictures. Next time, just keep quiet.”

Betty laughed bitterly at the memory
“And don’t forget to pick up your medication Elizabeth.” She mocked, drawing her fingernails into her palms.

“You talking to the voices inside your head?”

Betty whipped around at the teasing voice and felt her heart stop at the sight of Jughead Jones standing casually against a trash can in the middle of the park.

“Jughead! What are you doing here?” She asked, a smile tugging on her lips.

He shrugged, moving closer to her.
“I was in the neighborhood, saw you walking all alone. Don’t you know there’s a turf war going on little lady?” He smirked before his entire face fell at the sight of the swollen bruise on her eye.

“That fucker did this to you?” He asked lowly, his eyes dangerous.

Betty reached a hand to her eye before dropping it, she had given up

“He was angry with me. I should have known he would be, I shouldn’t have even been near him..” she was cut off by Jugheads slender, rough fingers gently stroking the darkening skin.

“It’s not your fault. He’s sick, and he’ll get what’s coming to him. I can promise you that.” He growled, his face a breath away from hers. His eyes were intense as he whispered “how could anyone do this to you? Of all the people in the world, you.” He whispered, his voice sounded foreign even to himself, hoarse and angry.

Betty smiled sadly, dropping her forehead to Jugheads, he was practically a stranger, she definitely didn’t know him well enough to be this close to him, but beside him, his hands on her waist, she felt safer than she had her entire life.

“I’m really not that special.” She whispered.

Jughead pulled away, cupping her chin with his fingers

“That’s where you’re wrong Betty Cooper, you’re the most special person I’ve ever met.” He smiled crookedly as he pulled away, swinging an arm over her shoulder.

Betty laughed at the lazy way he strut through town, she asked about the Serpents, he asked about her uniform, she told him about Veronica and he told her about Keith. When they finally arrived at Betty’s front porch Betty was out of breath from laughing so hard and Jugheads cheeks ached from the constant smiling.

Walking her to her front porch, something shifted in the beautiful blondes eyes

“What’s the matter angel?” He asked concerned, the nickname rolling off his tongue.

“If Chuck sees you… he’ll kill you.. I shouldn’t have put you in this position.. I’m so sorry .. I…” Jughead cut her off as he clutched her hands

“Don’t you worry about me, I’ve got my boys surveying these streets. They seem to have taking quite a liking to you, im not the only one who has Chuck in my sights.” He reassured her.

Betty still looked skeptical but he took comfort in the way her shoulders relaxed slightly. She raised a palm to his cheek and rested it there, her fingers gently stroking the space beside his ear

“Thanks for walking me home. I’ll see you soon?” She asked.

Jughead nodded with a smirk, popping the collar of his leather jacket and raising a brow

“You got it Juliet.”

With one last glance at the dark haired boy Betty closed her front door, leaning her back against it and smiling.

Jughead walked the dark streets of Riverdale, his hand coming up to touch the space that Betty had rested her hand, he smiled.

Oh Chuck was definitely going down.

there’s this girl

Title: there’s this girl
Fandom: miraculous ladybug
Rating: K+
Characters: Ladybug (Marinette), Queen Bee (Chloe)
Summary: Queen Bee has a secret. It’s not what Ladybug thinks.

“So there’s this girl.”

Ladybug cocked her head and stared at her friend with wide eyes, mouth falling open to say something, but the look on Queen Bee’s face stopped her in her tracks. Bottom lip caught between her teeth, gaze heavy on her hands clasped tightly in her lips, she looked hesitant and unsure, lacking the confidence and charisma that usually oozed from every pore. Ladybug didn’t know how to respond. It wasn’t every day that Queen Bee chose to open up to her or any of the other heroes of Paris; she held her secrets and identity tighter than any of them did.

“For my father,” she’d say when asked why and rarely said more. Ladybug wasn’t arguing—she did the same thing—but it was different to have someone so similar working beside her. While she enjoyed Volpina’s presence, and Chat Noir was her partner, Queen Bee was something entirely new and unexpected, but not unwanted. Ladybug had spent so long explaining why secret identities were important, and while everyone had accepted that long ago, Queen Bee was the only person who seemed to understood why.

“So there’s this girl,” Queen Bee had said, completely out-of-the-blue and sending Ladybug’s thoughts into a whirlwind, unprompted on an early Saturday after an akuma battle under the silver sunrise of the Paris morning. “And I don’t know what to do.”

Barbados

“Don’t you fucking dare, Justin” Y/N screamed as she tried to run away from her boyfriend, who was chasing her, wanting to throw her into the water.

“Babe, you know I’m faster.” Justin laughed.

“You’ll never catch me.” she turned her head and she stick her tongue out. In that second of inobservance, she tripped over someone’s leg. Soon her face hit the sand and six pair of little hands tried to hold her down.

“We’ve got her.” Jaxon proudly exclaimed.

She wiggled herself around, so she could face them. At the bottom of her eye she saw Justin wasn’t running anymore so she took the chance she had.

“Okay guys, here’s the deal, let me go and I will buy you ice-cream, candies and other stuff, which you’ll eat when Jeremy and Chelsey or Justin aren’t around, yeah?” She gave them her best smile, hoping it will work.

They just smiled into her face and swing their heads no.

“Whatever Justin promised to give you, I can give you too, even better. C’mon I don’t wanna get my hair wet.”

I look like her begging only made them laugh even more.

“You know that’s not how it works, babe.” Justin said, slowly approaching them.

“Can’t blame girl for trying, now can you?” Y/N chuckled.

“Thank you guys for help, now let’s get Y/N wet.” Justin exclaimed and the kids started yelling and screaming.

Justin quickly picked Y/N up and started running towards the ocean. She was screaming for him to stop, begging him she will do anything, but it only made him laugh.

“Love you too, babe.” Justin said before he threw her into the water. When she had emerged, she moved her hair from her face and quickly yelled. “Get ready for a payback.”

She splashed water into their way, and they were quick to respond. Since it was four against one, she lost again and they were all around her, so all she could do was to dive and pull them under.

First she pulled Justin’s shorts down, just a little bit, giving the paparazzi behind some good material to work with.

Then she moved to Jazmyn and Allie and pulled them under. She emerged once again, noticing Jaxon playfully running away towards his father. Y/N quickly rushed after him. “I’m gonna get you Jax.”

Considering that’s she’s faster than him she quickly grabbed him and pulled him into his arms.

“Gotcha.” Y/N exclaimed proudly.

Jaxon was laughing and wiggling in her arms, but she only held him tighter. “No, put me down.” He said while laughing.

“Too late for that now.” Y/N said and jumped into water with him. Once they raised up, and looked around at each other, they all started laughing.

“Four against me and I still win. You suck, guys.” Y/N stuck her tongue out, once again.

Once they reached Jeremy and Chelsey, they all sat down on their ropes, slowly wiping water off their skins.

“Having fun, huh?” Kids nod at Jeremy’s question.

“Let’s go say hi to those fans over there.” Justin said as he grabbed Y/N’s hand and started pulling her up.

“You go, I’ll stay here. I need to dry my hair, and get tanned.”

“So you’re letting you half naked boyfriend go talk to more half naked people?”

“Do I have a reason to worry?” Y/N asked pretending to be surprised placing her right hand over her heart.

Justin laugh and gave her a quick kiss. “Nope.” And he left.

“Okay guys, get out of water, it’s enough for today. We’re going to swim some more tomorrow.” Jeremy said as he started to get up from the sand.

Kids weren’t happy about leaving the beach, they loved spending time there, running and playing around. But once they were promised to get ice-cream they happily obeyed and picked their toys up.

Few feet away there was a bar with ice-cream. Kids quickly ran towards it, already discussing which ice-cream to take.

Justin and Y/N were far behind everyone, slowly waking, while Justin’s left hand was wrapped around Y/N’s back.

“You’re enjoying it here?” Y/N asked Justin, looking around the beach. Only a few people were left there, and of course some paparazzi.

“Mhm. It would be great if those suckers weren’t here.” Justin said sounding slightly irritated.

Y/N looked over at Justin. “Hey, don’t let those fuckers ruin your holiday with your family. God knows you work way too hard and you deserve this. So just relax, I know it bothers you, but we are here to so focus on us and not them.”

Justin smile and placed a little peck on her lips. “What would I do without you?”

“Be lost, mostly, bored.” Y/N said making Justin chuckle.

“I love you.”

“I love you.” She said and placed her head on his shoulder slowly walking towards their yacht.

Once they reached the yacht he let go of her. “Ladies first.” Y/N smiled and kissed him once again.

As she was passing him to climb up the stairs, she felt his hand on her but. “Lost something, Bieber?” Y/N asked innocently looking over her shoulder.

“Just found it.” He said and smirked at her. She laughed. Justin, Jaxon, Jazmyn and Allie all headed towards the roof, while Y/N went into the bathroom and put on pink shorts. She quickly tied her hair into a messy bun and walked out onto the deck.

As she was approaching the deck she could hear giggles from the roof. She looked up and she saw Allie, Jazmyn and Justin doing yoga.

“No Justin, you’re doing it all wrong.” Allie exclaimed and show him how’s it’s supposed to be done.

Y/N couldn’t help but laugh at how cute they looked together. Justin noticed her and looked down at her.

“Something funny, Miss?” Justin asked playfully and Y/N shook her head. “No, not at all. Also put your ass little higher Bieber. You’re seriously doing it wrong.”

“Why don’t you come up and show me how’s done then?”

“Nah, I’m just gonna enjoy the view from down here.”

Justin winked at her and went back to yoga.

Y/N observed them for a little bit more then she went to the bar and took a glass of white wine. She went back to the deck, still hearing giggles, but she decided to rather turn away from them and appreciate the view.

It was just amazing, the sun was slowly going down. The colours were just extraordinary. The sun painted whole sky into bright yellow that slowly fading into blue.

Y/N felt strong hands wrapping around her waist and she place her head onto his chest.

“You’re beautiful, you know that?” he asked with his low, sexy voice that only sent shiver down her spine.

She just smiled and placed her glass down, slowly turning around. She met his gaze, and his eyes left her speechless. He always had such a nice brown colour but now, thanks to the sunset, the brown in his eyes was turned green and it was even prettier than sunset.

“You’re staring.” Justin smirked playfully.

“Stop being so goddamn beautiful and I won’t.” Y/N said pushing his arm. He griped her tighter, bringing her closer.

“Not my fault, baby.”

He lowered his lips onto hers. Y/N closed her eyes at the touch of his soft lips. She placed her hands around his neck, playing with his hair. He brushed his tongue over her lower lip, asking for entrance. She moaned into kiss, pushing herself more and more into him.

Once they separated, they were both breathing heavily. Justin kissed her forehead and she placed her head onto his chest. She closed her eyes and listened to his heart beat.

He slowly pushed her off and grabbed her hand. “Come.” Was all he muttered. He took her hand and took her into their shared room.

This is a very short imagine inspired by Justins vacation with his family. I know it sucks and i’m sorry.

Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman

Requested. [I feel like this was awful, because I struggle with comedy. But I tried]

Song or Quote : “I’m not a damsel, not tonight at least.” & “ Do you even watch the news? Come on, I’m Spider-Man. You know, stringing up criminals and saving damsels?“

“What’s a pretty girl like you doin’ all by yourself in these mean ole streets, huh?”

[Y/N]’s head swiveled to her left, stepping sideways off the sidewalk to get out of reach. She narrowed her eyes, this guy looked like trouble and reeked of cheap booze and menthol. “Going home.”

The way his eyes raked over her, made [Y/N] feel uneasy. She knew her time was coming to cross paths with the crooks of the city. It had only been a little less than a month since she had moved here. But, [Y/N] could bet that walking home alone in the dark was the sure way to come across one.

He smirked towards her, his teeth oddly glistening in the flickering street light. “Takin’ some late night pilate classes?” The man’s eyes skimmed over her gym bag that was slung over her body, “What kind of goods you got in there, hon?”

If asked what her worst trait would be, it would be that she was extremely outspoken. She always struggled to keep her mouth shut in situations that called for it to stay closed. This was one of those times that she blatantly ignored her better judgement. Squinting her eyes, she cocked a brow. “I don’t know what I’m more shocked about. The fact that you believe that you’ll be able to mug me or the fact that you know what pilates is.” Taking a step back when he stepped forward, she narrowed her eyes. “And if you must know, I take mixed martial arts, so believe me when I say despite the vast height and weight difference between us, I could kick your ass with my eyes closed.”

“You a bit ballsy, ain’t you?” He growled while he cracked his fingers, “I’m going to make you eat those words that’s been comin’ out that pretty little mouth.”

[Y/N], you should probably stop while you’re ahead. Gasping like she was scared, her hands flew to her mouth. Pretending to shake, she squealed out. “Oh no, oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. Please, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean any of that. Oh, please don’t hurt me.” Or not

Before the mugger could respond, the sound of laughing made them both jump. Searching in the dark to find the source of laughter, they finally looked up to the fire escape of the closest building. Standing on the railing, with one hand propped up against the bricked building, the other was placed on his stomach while he was bent over still laughing.

“Oh man, I just love sarcasm.” He laughed, “It’s like punching someone in the face but with words.”

[Y/N] squinted her eyes, who the fuck

Before she could get the chance to ask, the mugger growled out in anger. “And just what the hell are you supposed to be?”

“Ditto,” she muttered.

Jumping from the fire escape, he landed gracefully in front of them. Shrugging his shoulders, “Do you even watch the news?” Whoever the masked man was, sounded incredibly insulted. Groaning, he shook his head. “Come on, I’m Spiderman. You know stringing up criminals and saving damsels?” Leaning against the mugger, [Y/N] could only assume he winked in her direction while he clicked his tongue and pointed towards her.

"I’m not a damsel, not tonight at least.” She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, “This guy’s a joke, I could take him with or without you.” Seriously, [Y/N]? Do you ever think before you speak? It’s called a goddamn filter.

Spiderman shook his head, “Man, she’s a little feisty.” Looking up at the mugger, he snickered. “Isn’t she?”

“Get your damn hands off me.” The guy yelled, slinging Spiderman off his shoulder, he pulled a knife out from his jacket. “Come on Spiderman let’s see what you got kid.”

Spiderman chuckled, “Funny you mention the whole kid thing because this kid is going to kick your ass, dude.” Flicking his wrist, a web shot out and landed onto the mugger’s hand with the knife. Flicking his wrist again, he webbed the knife out his hand. “Oh shame you don’t have that anymore.”

[Y/N] yelped slightly, “Yo, is that stuff coming out of you?!”

“What? No! Ugh, I made it.” He groaned, looking down at his hands, he started moving them towards the device on his wrist. “I engineered it to-” Getting cut off by the mugger yanking back on the web, Spiderman flew forward. Before he made it close enough for the mugger to grab him, he shot out another web and stopped himself. Chuckling, “You’re going to have to do better than that if you want to get me.”

“You some piece of work kid.” The mugger growled.

“Yeah, yeah.” He snorted.

[Y/N] felt sort of freaked out. Biting her lip, she tried to process what was going on. First, she decides to walk home alone, in the dark from the gym. Then, a creepy man stops her when she passes an alley. Next, she decides to be mouthy because she’s always been that way. And now, a man kid person in a spandex suit was trying to save her. “Is this? Is this,” moving her hand in their direction, she raised a brow, “normal?”

Spiderman glanced in her direction before webbing the guy up against the building, pointing at him, he scolded. “Don’t steal, the Government doesn’t like competition.” Turning towards [Y/N], he casually walked towards her. “Is what normal?”

“That….this whole thing? I mean is this normal?” She motioned towards his suit and then the web. “Is it normal for a kid vigilante to be running the streets at night in spandex?”

“Don’t insult the suit, man.” Spiderman ran his hand down his torso, “This is a one of a kind.”

Squinting her eyes, she muttered, “I don’t doubt that.”

He tossed his head, shaking his head. Looking back towards her, he fake gasped. “I’m sorry, did I just roll my eyes out loud?”

“I can’t even see your eyes!”

“Stop insulting me.”

Feeling frustrated, “I’m not insulting you, I’m describing you!”

Before Spiderman could have a chance to respond, the sound of heavy footsteps and chains rattling interrupted their small argument. Instinctively, he stepped protectively in front of [Y/N].

“What the hell is going on out there?” A voice yelled from the alley.

Tony, get your ass out here and get me down!” The mugger yelled.

“Hey, I know a Tony.” He looked over towards [Y/N] nodding. “He’s a good friend-” stopping short, they both gulped at the sight of the stacked guy emerging from the alley with heavy artillery. “That….that um, that is not the same Tony I know.” Turning around, he shot webbing towards [Y/N], pulling her in close, he whispered, “Hold on.”

“I’m sorry, do what?”

With no response, they were both zipping through the air. [Y/N] could feel her heart leaping out of her mouth when her eyes adjusted to the height at which they were flying at. Yelping, she held on tight and closed her eyes. She felt like they were in the air for hours but that was due to the fact that she was incredibly terrified of heights.

Once she felt solid ground on under her feet, she retracted herself from the kid and fell to the ground. Her chest was heaving from her adrenaline coursing through her body. “Why did you think that was a good idea?”

“I mean it was either run away or be shot and I’ve got a lot of life to live so I ran with option B.” Sitting on the ground in front of her, he chuckled, “And normally my problem is that I have really fantastic bad ideas.”

Clutching her chest to try to slow down her heart rate, she flickered him a look. “Like dressing up in spandex and looking for trouble?” Taking a deep breath, she sighed. “Shouldn’t you be playing video games or hooking up with girls after curfew?”

Spiderman reached up to the scratch the back of his head, wanting to laugh at how ridiculous the last part sounded. If only this girl knew who he was under his mask. “Yeah the thing about that is I don’t know how to act my age because I’ve never been this age before.”

Standing up, she dusted herself off. “Right.” Looking around her to make sure nothing fell out of her bag, she looked at the masked hero. “I guess I should thank you for saving me.”

Standing up, he shook his head. “It’s not really a problem. It’s what I do.”

“I suppose so.” Chewing on her lip, “Who are you? I mean I know your Spiderman, but you’ve got have a face under that mask.”

Stepping backwards, he chuckled. “I’m just your friendly neighborhood Spiderman.” Slinging a web, he saluted. “I’ll see you around.” And then he was off, leaving [Y/N] staring after him. Maybe moving to this city wasn’t so bad.

(Y/N)’s face remains blank.

She waits patiently until the shock and amusement that had overwhelmed her friends passed.

“This is gold,” Reggie manages to say, despite his uncontrollable laughter.

“Are you serious?” Veronica asks, unable to believe what she had heard. “How is that possible?”

“No one? Ever?” Archie sniggers, continuing the excessive questioning.

(Y/N) shakes her head, crossing her arms over her chest, “No one,” she confirms.

“Not even when you-”

“No,” (Y/N) interrupts, not needing to know what the question was.

“I don’t believe you,” Archie declares, leaning back in his seat. “You’re winding us up.”

Reggie, who still hadn’t completely tamed his laughter, threw an arm over (Y/N)’s shoulder. “You are a constant surprise, (Y/N) (Y/L/N). So sweet and innocent,” he sighs. “What are we going to do with you?”

She releases an aggravated groan, unintentionally pressing herself further against the warmth her friend offered. “I don’t see why this is such a big deal.”

Because,” Veronica demands, overly dramatically, “you’re a lip virgin!”

(Y/N) rolls her eyes, not able to comprehend why her friends were concerned about who she’s been kissing-or more accurately, hasn’t been.

“Why is this so hard to believe?” she questions, narrowing her eyes.

“It’s just odd, I guess. I suppose I’ve never really thought about it, I’ve just always assumed. I mean you’re friends with so many guys,” Archie shrugs.

(Y/N)’s glare hardens, “We’ll I’m not you Archie,” she snaps, sliding out of the booth, finally being pushed to her limit. She lets Reggie’s arm fall to his side. “I don’t go around kissing anyone and everyone.”

“Obviously,” Reggie mutters under his breath.

Without hesitation, or a second glance at her friends, she rushes towards the exit, the laughter from the table seeming to echo behind her.

(Y/N) accidentally runs into Jughead who was just entering Pop’s. “Hey,” he chuckles, “why the rush?”

She couldn’t answer him, instead she pushes past him and heads in the direction of her home.

Jughead is left standing at the door to the diner in complete confusion. He slowly enters and looks around, frowning when he sees Archie and the others sitting in a booth laughing.

“Are you guys aware (Y/N) just ran out of here?” he asks as he approaches them, thrusting his thumb in the direction of the door. His words seemed to amuse the trio even more. His frown deepens as they continue. “She looked really upset.”

“We were just joking,” Reggie defends.

“What did you do?” he demands, addressing all three of them-feeling a sudden rush of defensiveness.

Archie rolls his eyes, “We were just having a little fun, we didn’t mean to upset her.”

“Well clearly,” Jughead says, “you did. (Y/N) mustn’t have caught on the the joke.”

Veronica was the first to come to a realisation, “Oh no,” she mumbles, “we really didn’t meant to hurt her, Jughead.”

“What did you do?” he asks them again.

Veronica bites her lip, her fingers start scrunching at the napkin in front of her. “We were talking about the worst kisses we’ve had…” she trails off.

“And?” Jughead questions, his forehead furrowing-wondering how his friend could have gotten so upset.

“It turns out she’s never been kissed before,” Archie answers. While this newly gained knowledge undoubtedly surprised Jughead, he didn’t let that get in the way of what he wanted to say.

“So you made fun of her? Seriously?” he scoffs. “I thought you were better than that,” he shakes his head before giving them all a pointed look. Reggie and Archie were now the ones frowning. “I can’t believe you would do that,” he says. “Actually,” he continues, “maybe I can.” Jughead makes his way out of the diner and starts to walk to (Y/N)’s house.

As he moves towards the door he starts to think of what to say. (Y/N) was one of his closest friends and he wanted nothing more than to make her happy again.

Knocking on the door, Jughead rocks back and forth on his feet. The door eventually opens. (Y/N) stands in front of him, looking the same as she did when she had left the diner-only now her eyes were red and puffy.

Without even having to say anything, (Y/N) takes a step closer to him. Jughead wraps his arms around her while she rests her hands on his waist, scrunching his jumper in her fists.

“Don’t listen to them,” he tells her quietly. “They were just being jerks.”

“Doesn’t mean they’re not wrong. It’s weird,” she mumbles.

Jughead strokes her hair, “It’s not weird, it’s good to have standards and want to wait. Maybe you just haven’t met anyone you want to be with in that way,” he shrugs. “There’s nothing weirds about that.”

“You think?” she asks, pulling her head away so she could see his face, trying to detect a lie.

He smiles as he looks down at her, “I do.”

They stand there for a while until (Y/N) laughs and finally pulls away. “I’m sorry, I’m probably overreacting.”

“You’re not,” he confirms, trying to assure her.

“Come in,” she insists, wiping at her eyes.

Jughead nods and follows her in the house, shutting the door behind him. They make themselves comfortable in the lounge room and set up a movie-deciding to try and relax for the rest of the night.

“Thank you,” (Y/N) says sincerely, “for coming by.”

“Anytime,” he shrugs.

(Y/N) could feel her lips tug upwards into another smile. “Really, Jug,” she continues. “You’re always the one who is there for me…I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.”

“Don’t mention it,” he tells her. “You’re always there for me as well and besides-there’s no place I’d rather be right now,” he says with a small smile, turning around so he was facing her, his arm thrown over the back of the couch.

“I suppose that’s what makes us such a good pair,” she says, unable to stop her eyes from flickering to his lips.

“I guess so.”

The pair were silent for what felt like an eternity. “Can you do me a favour?” she asks, tilting her head to the side-coming to a decision.

“Depends.”

She rolls her eyes, “Close your eyes.” Jughead’s expression falters, but he complies with her request. “Just stay still,” she murmurs, leaning towards him. Jughead remains motionless, he had a feeling he knew what was going to happen-what he hoped would happen-but stayed silent.

Jughead could feel her breath, almost tickling him as she spoke. “Can I?”

“Yes,” is all he replies.

(Y/N)’s lips barely brush his at first, the touch so light and hesitant-unsure if it was okay.

Jughead’s fingers dig into the couch as she tries again-though this time with a slight force and determination. He kisses her back, causing her to freeze momentarily. Soon she seems to wrap her mind around what was happening and moves closer to him.

He rests a hand on the back of her neck and pulls her against him-but doesn’t attempt to deepen the kiss.

When (Y/N) pulls back, he opens his eyes only to find hers still closed. He uses his fingertips to gently stroke her cheek. “Are you okay?” he asks her.

“Never felt better,” she responds instantaneously, a grin spreading across her face. Jughead couldn’t help but mirror her expression. “Thank you,” she tells him again.

“Why are you thanking me this time?” he asks her softly, tugging gently at a loose lock of hair.

“For making me feel happier than I’ve been in a while. For making my first kiss…something to treasure.”

“Hopefully your second will be able to meet your standards then,” he whispers playfully, pulling her face towards his.
