Ancient Jewelry Replicas on Etsy

In the past, a few people have asked me where they can find ancient jewelry for sale. While auction houses such as Christie’s, Bonhams, and Sotheby’s certainly offer ancient jewelry in their lots, not everyone can afford to buy genuine artifacts, myself included! I’ve thus done quite a bit of online sleuthing, searching for high-quality reproductions, and I thought I’d share what I’ve found with you all. Happy shopping!

Ancient Jewelry

Ancient Coins

  • Golden Artifacts (Greek and Roman coins)
  • Ancient Legends (mostly Roman, Greek, and Byzantine, but some Jewish and Biblical coins too)
  • Antiqua Nova (mostly Greek and Roman, with later European coins too)
  • Vibraa (Greek replica coins turned necklaces)

Sergeants Uniform of the 3rd Regiment of Zouaves of the French Army dated 1915 on display at the Musée de l'Armée in Paris

Before the start of the First World War, the Zouave uniform was famous in many armies in the 19th Century from the United States (both Union and Confederacy) to the Papal Sates and Poland. By 1915 however the bright and flowing uniform of the Zouave was replaced with this khaki uniform. It was part of a gradual modernisation of the French army with the colourful uniforms of the 19th century were being replaced either with khaki or bluish grey.

Colonial troops such as the Zouaves from Algeria and other French colonies in Africa fought on the Western Front with men and women from all over the world. After the war in 1926 the French government erected the Grand Mosque of Paris, in recognition of the bravery of the Muslim soldiers who died defending France and its people. During the Second World War the mosque became a refuge for Jews escaping the Nazis and Vichy Republic.

  • Catalan and Italian share many grammar rules, some of them are exactly the same.
  • Catalan has two main dialects, the western dialect and the eastern dialect
  • Catalan is called “valencià” in the region of Valencia, which is the dialect of that area (same situation with Dutch in Belgium)

Chardonnay Compilation:

Here are 3 different chards I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know recently, all perfect for the summer season.

1. Stella Bella Chardonnay 2015, Margaret River, Western Australia, Australia

2. Domaine de Bellene Saint-Romain Vieilles Vignes 2015, Saint-Romain, Burgundy, France

3. Seifried Old Coach Road Nelson Unoaked Chardonnay 2015, Nelson, New Zealand

I usually prefer the oaked, buttery, creamy and rich chards, but I thought I’d try an unoaked one for a change (number 3) - and I was pleasantly surprised; green herbs, citrus and tropical fruits.

You’re welcome!

Eras pues, pequeña y me dolías mucho

como esos pinches cueritos

que se desprenden de los uñeros.

Me dolías basurita de ojo

charalito ansioso

bailarina láser.

Me dueles tanto

mientras me revuelves

.

Aunque sea la resaca

grande tan

grande

al fin, podré

sonreírle a la vida

andar ligero de equipaje

ser y solo ser

sin esa pequeña tan

pequeña

molestia a rastras.

Has a large supply of potent mainly hemotoxic venom w/ cytotoxic factors; envenomation can cause systemic internal bleeding & serious local tissue destruction. Causes immediate burning pain, edema, local hemorrhage, discoloration, necrosis, can cause wide-spread hemorrhage (at multiple sites & intracranial), coagulopathy, severe hypotension, renal failure & shock. Causes more human deaths than any other pitviper species in the Western Hemisphere.
