we don’t know the color of the flower in the diner scene, but i have a feeling this isn’t unintentional or a coincidence? grindelwald probably knew of Oscar Wilde, especially because he was in Britain in the late 1890s. Or maybe i’ve read too many Dumbledore/Grindelwald fics that keep referencing Wilde, young Albus and Gellert reading his works…
But seriously, JKR isn’t a stranger to flower symbolism. She’s named characters Fleur/Petunia/Lily/Narcissa, with Petunia being associated with anger/resentment and that one moment in PS where Snape asks Harry about asphodel and wormwood.
Murdoc: It was your birthday and you decided to go out to a club and party with the crew. Of course it didn’t get unnoticed but the extra attention didn’t bother you that much and you just went along with it. Around midnight everyone was drunk off of their mind. It wasn’t THE BEST setting for a first kiss but that was when it happened. You were bouncing around the room in a crowd of people as “Momentz” played from the speakers. That was surely a nice touch from the DJ -you thought. Suddenly somebody pulled you away and your eyes met with Murdoc’s dark ones.
“ENJOYIN’ THE PARTY PRETTY FACE?” He asked with a bottle of gin in hand trying to shout over the music. You giggled swaying from side to side completely lost in the alcohol.
“I ASKED IF YOU’RE ENJOYIN’ THE PARTY?” He exclaimed again and before you could reply someone bumped into Muds. The drink in his hand spilled everywhere on the floor and startled both of you. Anger swept on Murdoc’s face but he softened again when he saw you laugh and he started laughing himself.
“I ENJOY IT VERY MUCH IF YOU STILL WANT AN ANWSER!” You shouted a minute later.
“THAT’S GOOD!” You bit on your lip and grinned, a wicked alcohol- influenced idea blooming in your mind.
“CAN I DO SOMETHING WEIRD?” You asked.
“UH… YEAH?” You grabbed him by his shirt and crashed your lips into his. He hummed in surprise. This kind of behavior towards him was something completely new to him but he couldn’t say he didn’t enjoy it very much. The palm of his hand found it’s way in your hair and a few minutes later you were leaving the club together. To do….
2-D: How could you not remember your first kiss with him? It was your first kiss ever! You and Stu started dating way back during high school when he was known for his overall harsh attitude towards everything but shit, you were sold. He was always incredibly nice to you and you often spent summer nights with him, hanging out listening to him sing and play his guitar. Your first kiss happened during one of those nights when you drove as far as you could and spent the night in a tent out by some lake. The sky was cloudless and it was surprisingly warm for that part of England. You were laying outside on the grass with your head on his chest listening to the tunes he played.
“Hey Y/N?” He suddenly said.
“How is it possible that we still haven’t even kissed yet we get along so well?” Stu asked.
“I guess we’re just better than everybody else.” You half joked.
“Do you wanna kiss though?” He asked again. You stayed silent for some time, unsure really what to say. You could hear his heartbeat increase in speed. He was nervous…
“I mean… Sure. Of course I do. Do you?”
“ Yeah! I mean… Yes.” He blushed, making you giggle.
“You don’t have to be embarrassed.” You said pulling yourself up and straddling his lap. He prepped himself on his elbows and observed you carefully. You ran a hand up his chest to his shoulder and leant down so your face was really close to his. “Ready?” He just nodded and his eyes fluttered shut. You smiled and closed the distance between you two, cupping his cheek in your palm.
Russell: Your first kiss with Russ was more than you could’ve ever wanted. First he took you out on a date which by the way was the third one you’ve ever been to with him. He took you to the fun fair and it was so wonderfully cliche like something straight from a romantic drama. You managed to win some prizes and annihilate the shit out of people in bumper cars. You went on the ferris wheel and had ice cream and…. Ahhhh what a beautiful day that was…
The evening was approaching quickly so Russ took it upon himself to walk you home and make sure you were safe and sound. He cracked jokes from time to time and complemented you, making you wish the day never ended.
At last, you stopped at your doorstep. You smiled at him kindly.
“Thank you Russell… For today. I had so much fun with you I wish this day could never end.” You said with a sincere expression.
“Ahhh no problem doll.” He grinned and scratched the back of his head. “Listen uh… I wanna ask you somethin’ before I go and regret it.”
“Well uh, okay?”
“Would you like to… And just so you know, even if you say no I’m still gonna like you like I do already so nothin’s gonna change… At least for me.” You raised an eyebrow and smirked.
“Just tell me.” He nodded.
“Right so uh… Would you like to go out with me? You know, full time? Not just as friends?” Your eyes lit up and you smiled like a child on christmas day.
“Oh I would absolutely, positively, completely, without a doubt like to.“ Now it was his turn to smile.
“Really?” You nodded and bit your lip to contain your smile. “Woah… Oh that’s so great!” He came up closer to you and embraced you or rather kind of suffocated you but in a really loving manner . You giggled happily and wrapped your arms around his neck. He pulled away some time later still with the same happy grin. “Hey and also, can I kiss you?” You chuckled at the bold question.
“Of bloody course.” You replied, leant in and crashed your lips into his.
Noodle: Whenever you and Noodle meet someone new she always makes sure to tell them the story of how she managed to bring out the raging lesbian in you with just one kiss. She also always pays special attention to the fact that it was a DARE and that DARE ended in you dating.
You, Noodle as well as some female friends threw a women’s night at one of your friend’s appartment that escalated into a game of truth or dare. It went pretty smoothly, nothing too crazy until it was Noodle’s turn.
“Let’s see… Alright…. Dare.” She smirked and folded her arms. Amy, one of your friends was supposed to think of something for her to do. She glanced over at you for a split second and you knew…
“Alright Noo… I dare you… To kiss Y/N. On the lips.” Your eyes widened.
“Amy! What the hell???” You exclaimed and blushed.
“Okay.” Noodle chirped making all of you turn your heads towards her.
“Wait… You’ll actually do it?” Amy asked.
“Unless Y/N doesn’t want to…” She fluttered her eyelashes. You smiled shyly.
“Uh… Well… A dare is a dare right?” You blushed even more when you saw her grin happily and jog to your side since she was a few seats away. She sat down next to you.
“Ready?” She chirped.
“I….. I guess?” Your eyes fluttered shut and a second later you felt her hand on your cheek which…. Surprised to to say the least. You didn’t expect Noodle to get this close to you. Seconds later you felt her warm lip glossed lips on your own.
The boys crossdress to meet their male S/O's parents because the parents are kinda homophobic. However, they all end up giving it away at some point.
This is my first ask, and I hope I can do it well. This was actually pretty fun to do.
-He borrowed some clothes from one of his sisters, although they were a little small.
-He also did his own makeup, painted his nails, and looked rather pretty. -He introduced himself to your parents politely, and made pleasant conversation with them. -Your parents seemed impressed, and then asked what his hobbies were. -He stated that he liked adventure and caring for his sisters. -‘As an older brother I must-’ He realised his mistake quickly.
-He went pretty crazy, with the shortest miniskirt you’ve ever seen and a crop top. -He talked as a valley girl, and acted as a stereotypical blonde girl. -Your parents believed he was a girl, but they didn’t think she was necessarily a good girl for you. -He was “politely” requested to leave, and when you were outside he spoke to you, assuming your parents couldn’t hear him. -‘Nishishi, I think that went well. They might not like me, but they thought I was a girl, so that’s a win!’ -Your parents heard. They decided that you being gay was fine, but they still didn’t like Ouma.
-All he really needed to do was upload a female voice, and from there he could claim to be a female robot.
-Your parents were impressed by Kiibo’s technology, but wondered if he could love, and he insisted that he could. -Whilst you and your mother were talking, your father looked up professor Idabashi on the internet. -From this he discovered that Kiibo was a male robot, and asked both of you about it. -Kiibo tried to deny it, but you decided to tell them the truth.
-He wore a skirt in his size, and hoped that he could do his best to please you. -He kinda messed up his introduction: 'I’m S/Os boy- girlfriend.’ -His stature, voice, and general behaviour made it obvious that he was a guy. -Your parents didn’t say anything whilst he was there, but asked you about it when he left. -They were a little shocked at your sexuality, but decided to accept it. -You didn’t tell Gonta it had failed, but told him that he didn’t have to pretend anymore.
-He wore a wig to make him look feminine, and attempted makeup, but decided it wasn’t good enough.
-He was pretty nervous during dinner, and refused to make eye contact with your parents, and was therefore fiddling with his fake hair. -When he got up from the table, his wig got caught on the chair, and in an attempt to free it, it fell off. -He looked at you, and seeing your nod, confessed to your parents. -They were surprised, but decided that he seemed to be a nice person, and accepted your sexuality.
-He wore an outfit that seemed like it belonged to him, and put on his makeup with ease. -You wondered if he often crossdressed. -When he met your parents he talked in a feminine voice. -Your parents remarked that he was rather tall, but he just smiled it off. -You had dinner together, and your parents seemed convinced that he was a girl. -It was only when your mother accidentally spilled boiling hot tea on him, his voice suddenly changed to its usual tone. -That’s when your parents figured it out.
-He wore a wig and a flowery dress that was from the child’s department, it actually looked nice on him, but he still looked pretty masculine.
When he met your parents, he tried to speak in I higher voice than usual, but it didn’t work.
-He then got upset that he was a failure to you, and your parents immediately started comforting him. -In the end they ignored the homosexuality, and made sure that he was fine. -He visits quite a lot now, and is treated like a son(in-law) now.
Kaito Momota -He wore a jumpsuit covered in galaxy patterns, and let his hair down, which was longer than expected. -He rocked up at your house: 'Yo Mr and Mrs, I’m S/Os girlfriend.’ -He had an energetic discussion with your parents over dinner, and they ended up talking about school. -'I go to the same school as S/O obviously. We met because we are in the same class.’ -You go to an all boys school.
Just watched episode 5 and wow, that went pretty crazy. And that Mercenary flashback… HE KILLED FREAKING 50 PEOPLE ON HIS OWN! Seriously no wonder he wants to become a human again. Not only, as a beastfallen, does he get hunted and such. But when he is able to do something as crazy as this, then his life really must suck. He even said it himself! That everyday turns into a bloody mess, all because of him being who he is. He doesn’t want to be like this and his biggest wish is just to be human, so he doesn’t have to do these things again… you can only feel for the guy…
Anyway, everything else that happened in this episode was good. Nice with a change of setting and feeling, showing more action instead of goofy flirt and gags. But I do hope we will return to that every so often!
Yall im finally watching BVS2 Ep 4 and theyre walking at the Volcano National Park and thESE PUNKS DONT SEEM TIRED AT ALL LITERALLY THAT TRAIL IS HELLA LONG AND HELLA STEEP PLUS HAWAII IS HELLA HUMID. WHEN I WENT I WAS D Y I N G
Sorry lol, but although I feel your pain of having a doomed crack ship, Rido is just a big no no for me. Kaname’s a murderer, yeah, but Rido is a baby killer and ate his own parents; I ain’t about characters like that lol. But to each their own I guess~
If Zero killed Kaname, then I imagine Yuuki being extremely torn up about it, and I feel like she’d go a lot more psychotic than the way she did in the actual manga. Like when Kaname willingly sacrificed himself, Yuuki went pretty crazy and was ready to kill the whole vampire race. And obviously there was some logic to her wanting to do that, but my point is that Yuuki had a very hard time accepting Kaname’s death even after knowing that he died willingly. If Kaname was murdered however, and therefore taken from Yuuki completely unexpectedly, then I feel like she’d definitely lose it entirely. And if Zero was the one who did it, I definitely couldn’t see her reconciling with him over it.
And as much as she may care for Zero, I just don’t see how she would ever forgive him for taking away the most important person in her life.
If it were the other way around, with Kaname killing Zero, then this may sound biased, but like you said, I think that with time and patience, Yuuki would eventually forgive Kaname. And I say this because, as we’ve seen in the manga, Kaname has done terrible things in the past, and yet Yuuki has still run back to him. Of course she’d probably be hurt and upset initially, but at some point during their infinite lifespans, I could definitely see them reconciling and being together again.
As for how Ren came about… I imagine that it took a lot of pushing from Zero to make that happen. From what we’ve seen, Yuuki isn’t exactly in a rush to make their relationship all that intimate. I mean, after getting together officially, all Yuuki wants to do is hold hands and such, and that’s pretty strange considering how quick Yuuki was to be intimate with Kaname. As we see in Chapter 89, it’s Yuuki that wants to “express [her] love”, and so she’s by no means shy when it comes to initiating intimacy and whatnot. And yet, Yuuki feels no desire to speed things up with Zero? Either way, it definitely seems like Zero would be the one pushing for a kid lol.
Sorry for the late reply on this Anon! And thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoy my blog ^_^
“You don’t remember us?” The one with
the longer hair asked. I nodded and took a sip from the bottle of water I was
given. The other one sighed and pulled the long haired one to the side. They
began talking in hushed tones. Both of them introduced themselves to me and led
me out the building. There, stood a car that was no doubt was a classic.
Sam, the one with long hair, kept
looking back at me. His expression was unreadable. The brothers decided on
something and walked over to me.
“We better get home then.” Sam told me.
I showed (Y/N) to her old room. The two
of us began sharing a room a few months after started dating. Sitting alone in
the library, I turned a box over in my hands. Only Cas and Dean knew what was
in it: a ring for (Y/N). There was a clink and I looked up to see Dean placing
a bottle of beer in front of me.
“Thought you could use one.” He told me.
“Thanks.” I mumbled before taking a sip.
“I need to find a cure.”
Lying in the bed that’s supposedly mine,
I dug through my brain in hopes of finding memories. Except nothing was there.
Everything felt different.
Sam told me that he was going to show me
around once I got some sleep. But I felt too restless. After pulling out some
sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt from ‘my’ wardrobe, I lay down. Instead, I pushed
off my covers and left my room.
The next problem was that I was lost. There
were so many corridors that the whole place seemed like a maze. Behind me were
footsteps and I whirled around to see Sam. He held up his hands to show that he
wasn’t going to hurt me. I let my shoulders relax.
“Hey, I was about to check on you.” He
“Thanks, I’m lost.” I laughed.
“So I was I the first few days. Come on,”
He gestured for me to follow him. I trailed behind him down a series of
corridors. I tried my best to memorise them. He then led me into the library. I
stood in the doorway looking around in awe.
“You used to love reading. You pretty
much went crazy the day we moved in.” Sam grinned.
“I don’t blame myself.”
“You hungry?” Sam raised his eyebrows.
“I am.” I nodded. “Sam, where’s the
“This way,” Sam gave me a smile and led
me out of the library. I followed him to the kitchen. “I’ll make you something.”
“Thank you Sam. For everything.”
“Anything.” He began making something
and I took a seat at the table.
“How did we meet? I presume it was a
hunt.” I guessed.
“Yeah! You saved me and Dean.”
“How?” I couldn’t help but smile. Sam
saw and smiled back. I could feel my face going red.
“Demons, they were about to kill us but
you threw a tape recording into the room. It was your voice reciting an
exorcism.” Sam explained as he brought two plates to the table. Both of them
had macaroni and cheese on them. Sam sat opposite me and passed me one.
“You made this. You tend to make extra ‘accidently’,”
He used air quotes. “To make Dean happy.”
“I must be a good cook.” I laughed.
“I always said I was better.” Dean told
us walking in. I tried some of the mac and cheese. “
“I don’t know. This is pretty good.” I
admitted making Sam laughed. Dean rolled his eyes and left. Sam’s face fell
when he looked at me.
Michelle Rodriguez opens up about the death of Paul Walker: 'I went pretty crazy'
For the past year and a half, Michelle Rodriguez has kept to herself about the death of Paul Walker. The blue-eyed actor, whose role as cop-turned-outlaw wheelman Brian O’Conner had been a linchpin of the $1.7 billion Fast and Furious franchise, had been killed on November 30, 2013 in a freak car crash. Since then, his castmates have largely grieved in private.
But during a recent conversation with EW, Rodriguez, who was then gearing up for the international press tour for Furious 7, decided that she wanted to open up about what the loss of Walker had meant to her. The shock of losing a trusted friend, “the deepest guy I know,” she says, caused her to unravel. “I actually went on a bit of a binge,” she says, wiping away tears. “I went crazy a little bit”—pause—”I wentpretty crazy. A lot of the stuff I did last year I would never do had I been in my right mind.”
Some of that “stuff,” of course, found its way into the tabloids. Rodriguez, 36, was photographed by paparazzi in various states of romantic embrace with British supermodel Cara Delevingne, partying on a yacht with Justin Bieber, and getting intimately acquainted with Zac Efron in Spain and Sardinia. “I was pushing myself to feel,” she says, amid the lunchtime bustle of a chic Venice, Calif. restaurant. “I felt like nothing I could do could make me feel alive, so I just kept pushing myself harder and harder. I was traveling and I was having sex. And I was just trying to ignore everything that I was feeling.”
Unlike many of her Furious 7 castmates—e.g. Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges—Rodriguez has no spouse or children. So her sorrow over losing a friend who had been a dependable presence for 16 years, she says, was compounded by the absence of a grounding family structure. “I could see Paul once every two years and just know there was another human on the planet who’s deep like me, who loves like that,” she says. “When that disappears, you wonder, ‘Wait a minute, what do I hold on to?’ There was nothing to tether me to this existence: ‘Why am I f—ing here? And, like, why’d you leave without me?’”
Her pain is still close to the surface, but earlier this year, she says, she discovered a renewed sense of purpose, and is now finally on the mend. “I just woke up [one morning] with a profound respect for living,” she says. “I stood tall one day and I said, ‘You know what, Michelle? Stop f—ing hiding. Go manifest.’ And all of a sudden, I picked myself up and started hustling.” (X)
