@alexaprilgarden asked me what my Comfy Recovery Fort looked like :-)
I think it looks like what I have, right here in my life. My home is my Fort, my harbor, and I’m so thankful I had the luck to have one, and then make it my own. That’s why I’ve chosen to use my own pictures (apart from the middle one and, yeah, BC’s pic hehe)
-Trafalgar Square on the day my husband and I went to see Hamlet. This is a memory that I often revisit.
- My bed.
-Scones! I love this recipe I found in London, and I’m making some whenever I feel down.
-White wine and ART!
-Looking at other people’s art. Inspiration, beauty, skill. *sigh*
-Some dude I like. He make me happy.
-Tea and Mycroft Owl cookies, made by a lovely friend.
-Knitting pretty things. The feel and smell of yarn is the perfect antidote to anxiety and stess.
-My tools. My forray into re-exploring something I though i had lost. PLUS the smell of wooden graphite pencils is like aromatherapy for me.
