“What is it? Ameera? Amra?” the immortal words of Fearne Cotton.

These are the first words ever spoken about Ameira on national radio and the stages don’t get much bigger for a national début than Fearne’s show on BBC Radio 1. Although it wasn’t really the introduction we all hoped for it is still such an achievement and a great feeling hearing that opening line ‘What Have I Done..’ and the music kick in knowing that thousands of people are tuning in, some that have heard 'We Never Close Our Eyes’ before and know of our band, but thousands who don’t even know we exist! Today we are played on Greg James’ show at some point between 4pm and 7pm. He is by far my personal favourite Radio 1 DJ and fingers crossed he has a lot more feedback for us than the lovely Fearne.

once again thank you so much for all your support and it is because of you why we are on Radio 1.
